I saw this movie on TV in the early 90's. The movie was probably made in the 80's. I think I saw it on USA Network. It was about a woman trapped in a building with a killer. (Not Dark Tower). The killer is a man. One scene I remember in particular is there are two women leaving the building, riding down to the lobby in the elevator. When the elevator door opens one of the women is killed by the killer. The other woman gets the elevator door shut and starts running around the building trying to get away. I think she was trapped in this building.
Result: In The Best Interest Of The Children (1992) with Sarah Jessica Parker. Thanx Alli, Marphisa.
The movie I am trying to recall was seen on TV. I believe in either the late 80's or early 90's. I think it starred either Sarah Jessica Parker or Mary Louise Parker. I really only remember a combination first and middle name. But I could be confusing that with two of the characters- little girl siblings who were given the same name (a combination first and middle) by their mother. All I remember about the movie is that there was a family of children, maybe all girls?, being raised by a single mother who spent most of her time drunk or in bed with someone, leaving the oldest daughter who was still a child herself, to care for the younger children. I recall one scene where the oldest child was trying to wake the mother to nurse a crying infant. The mother was asleep in bed with one of her boyfriends and would not get out of bed. The daughter then went to the kitchen, littered with dirty dishes and beer bottles, to warm a bottle for the infant. She smashed a roach crawling on the counter with the baby's bottle. In another scene, the oldest daughter (played by an auburn haired child actress with freckles. Well-known but I cannot recall her name) was talking to a counselor after the children were removed from their mother, I think for the second time. She was saying that she felt weird with her siblings, like she was thier mother instead of their sister. It seems that in the end, the mother finally cleaned up her act and was attempting to get her children back in her care. I don't think that in the movie, the problems were ever quite resolved. The viewers were left with the idea that it could happen but overall the mother had found peace with herself and was trying to make a better life. Possibly based on a true story but I am not sure about that either.
Result: The Accident: A Moment Of Truth Movie (1997) (TV). Thanx Alli.
Around 1997 or 1998 I saw a made for tv movie about some teenage girls that were drinking one night at a party, drove home drunk, and got into an accident. The driver survived, but her best friend is killed as a result of the accident. The rest of the movie is about how the driver deals with "killing" her best friend because of driving drunk.

I'm looking for the name of a French movie told in two parts . It was made 2001-2003. It was about a young artist who is obsessed with a doctor who lives next to her. It seems as if the doctor causes this young woman to try and kill herself, but then the movie rewinds and you see the whole movie over again with what really happened . it turns out te young woman is really an obsessed stalker, ends up in a mental hospital , but gets out to and is heading to see the doctor again.

Saw this movie back in the 70's early 80's on regular TV. It's about a blind girl in a house with other people. The bedroom she stayed in had 2 single beds in it. People end up dead all over the house! When she ventures through the house, she is soooo close to touching or tripping over these dead people, yet she doesnt have a clue that anyone is dead. She wonders where everyone went, decides to take a bath and starts running water in the bathtub and theres a dead body in it!! She doesnt know it!! She finally steps into the water to hysterically realize someone is dead in it. The movie might be in color, but I'm not sure, seems the bath was full of red blood though. She is trying to get out of the house, drops a key in the floor and frantically tries to find it. I don't think you ever see the killers face, only that he wears boots with a big white star on the front. Seems like he may have ridden a horse in the movie.

this movie is about a brother and sister who are kidnapped (or witheld) in there fathers basement. my beset guess is it was made in the mid 90's possibly late 80's. the father is a serial murderer i think and cops are on his trail. the cops realise that the little boy has a twin borther in a mental insitution. he doesnt speak but writes clues and messages on the wall of his room. these clues lead the cops to the house. somehow a picture of this family (or house) was found and has a major clue in it that lead the cops to the house where the kids are being held. the picture had a water tower (i think) with a certain name on it that lead the cops to the house. do you know this movie. the key words are twins, water tower, kids held in basement.

I recently saw this movie on TV (the Family channel I believe), but I believe it is from the late 80's or early 90's. It is your typical teen movie, made in color. A farm girl goes to college in Southern California and meets a "surfer" guy. During one of her breaks from school she goes home to visit her family and brings her new friend. During her time at school she has transformed from a farm girl into a California girl, but her boyfriend from back on the farm wants to marry her anyway. When he proposes at a country club, she lies and says she can't marry him because she is already engaged to her new guy friend. Throughout the movie, the California guy tries to fit in on the farm and has a pretty good time.

Result: Are You Afraid Of The Dark? episode: The Tale of the Doll Maker from Nickelodeon. Thanx Mysty.
The Tale of the Doll Maker A young girl goes to the countryside to spend a summer with her best friend but she discovers that her friend is missing. She soon discovers that a mysterious doll house in the attic is responsible for her friend's disappearance (Inside the attic there is also a strange door that leads to the inside world of the dollhouse. Inside she finds her friend who has become stiff and porcelain doll-like. The dad comes looking for her at some point I think. Also, the girls end up finding a way out so the other girl doesnt become immobile as a doll.)
I saw a film on TV, probably in the mid-nineties. All I remember about it is that there are three girls who get stuck in a dollhouse and as time goes on they become stiffer, turning into dolls. There's a scene at the end of the movie where the father of one of the girls is searching for them and looks into the the dollhouse and the girls can see him but arent able to do anything about it because they have been turned into dolls. It was in color. I think it also had to do with the girls going into an abandoned house, which is how they got stuck in that mess....

This was I believe a comedy. I saw it in the mid 80's, so it could have been made in the early 80's. Color U.S. film: It had a white man in his mid 30's probably who I believe was in a police/security uniform, and he had certain powers such as running really fast, but when he saw either Red or a certain color, he lost his powers and would fall if he was up high somewhere. I also remember a man in his mid 50's probably with not much hair and a gap in his teeth. One certain part I remember that I hope sparks someone's memory is that The main character blew a bubble so big that it was climbed on to get the bad guys at the end. Parts of the movie took place by water because there were boats around and water. Bubble gum may have been used throughout the movie but I am not sure.

Result: Snowbound: The Jim And Jennifer Stolpa Story (1994) . Thanx Alli.
This was a made-for-tv movie about 17 years ago (I do apologize; can't remember the exact date). It was about a young couple who were somehow stranded in a blizzard (plane crash?). Through incredible circumstances, they survived. Because of the extensive frost bite to their feet, they had to get parts of their feet amputated. i remember the FINAL scene: the two are okay, but in wheel chairs with amputated feet/toes. They both (somehow) manage to get up out of their wheelchairs and walk hand-in-hand across the ocean. I think there might have been a child involved in the movie as well, who they kept alive by zipping in a duffle bag through the blizzard. Please help me find the name of this movie. It was SUCH an inspiring story of survival and genuine love.

I'm trying to remember a movie from the early 80's. There was this young blond teenage girl, with a younger sister (not important to the plot). She was a rebel. There was this older guy that she was seeing. I remember watching it on HBO or Cinemax. It was PG I believe. I thought it might have been Lori Singer, but it wasn't her. Someone that looked like her. I've seen the actress in other movies since, but can't recall her name.

U.S. possession movie, similar concept to that of the Exorcist, about a young boy who "sees the beast" on the way home from school or something set in the country or farm house, brother wants to fight the demon after the boy gets possessed in the bed while speaking in the demon voice saying stuff like, "We are Legion" . Then The priest says to his concerned brother, "Don't challenge the demon, He WILL attack you" etc.,, The house seems haunted before the boy manifests the demon, the mom character freaking out etc. At the end, the "priest takes the boy to the church to exorcise the demon, can't remember if he kills the boy. I saw it on network T.V. in the mid to late 80's. It was freaky like the Exorcist, probably low budget T.V. movie, whatever, I was young.

In the movie towns people are part of a satanic cult who bury a woman under rocks.A woman in charge of the cult tells the woman under the rocks to give up her wedding ring(husband)or they would take her baby. She agrees to give up the ring and passes out. When she wakes up the rocks are gone and her baby lays a few feet from her wrapped in a blanket crying. I think this may be some cult classic.

I saw this film in the 80s ans it's set in the pioneer times. This family sets up a plantation without knowing that the land is haunted or possessed, something like that. So some of them see some stuff out in the wilderness and then they come upon this little girl who seems to be abandoned and they bring her in a keep her there not knowing that she's evil. Her eyes turn black, skeletons are coming out if the ground. It was in color and pretty sure was made in the 80s and came on HBO.

So, when I was about 7 (1997) I watched a horror movie about this family, a mom, son and daughter (possibly a father I cannot remember) who got lost in another realm that was somewhat farm-esque. It was full of peasants who were also goblin type creatures who had green blood. The family's goal was obviously to get out of this land and return to earth. The movie ends with the mom taking a shower back in their home and the kids go into her room and find green blood on her shower door...meaning the goblins followed them to earth.

Result: The Peanut Butter Solution (again) (1985) Thanx RunninRabbit, Marphisa, Jeremy, Alli.
Hi, i'v just had a flashback to a film i saw around 12 years ago, in around 1993-4. But I don't think that this movie was a recent new release, i'm thinking that it maybe from around the late 80's- 1990. It was a colour film and i'm sorry but i can't remember much about it. However, what i do remember is that there was a boy, who i think was suffering from cancer or leukemia and all his hair fell out, making him bald. Then i remember that he smeared a jar of peanut butter all over his head. I have found out that peanut butter on a bald head can make hair grow, so I'm guessing this boy wanted his hair to regrow after the cancer or leukemia. Also, i can faintly remember something about a moon? Sorry, it's not much help! Unfortuantely, thats all i can remember about this movie. This was a kids movie ( but not cartoon) as i was a toddler when i watched it. The boy in the movie i think may have been around 8 years old. I'm also pretty certain that this was an american movie. I also keep thinking of the movie E.T, so i think that the genre/setting of the movie was similar to that of in E.T. Eg: The boy's room reminds me of Eliot's room in E.T.

i saw a movie, probably around 1994. There was, I believe a young white boy, who lived in india or some mid-eastern country with his father. his father dies and he moves in with maybe an aunt ? the aunts house was supposed to be demolished and he does a fast (starvation thing) to stop the demolishion of the house. at the end, all the students from his class or something, come out of the house onto the porch and stop the bulldozer. I remember a part where the boy is in gym class, and he sits indian style on the bottom of the pool for like 5 minutes.
Result: Kind Lady The 1951 version starred Ethel Barrymore and Maurice Evans. The 1935 version starred Basil Rathbone. Thanx Marphisa.
This is a movie about an old lady who is wheelchair bound. Somehow, three people are living in her house and are trying to take her wealth. She is locked away in an upstairs bedroom by these people and she tries to befriend one of the women to get the key or simply get released from the room (I think these people are made up of a man and two women). Later on they try to either sell her antiques or have them moved away somewhere. A gentleman comes a few times to see the old lady but he is turned away. I also believe one of the women in this trio is killed somehow and perhaps placed in a closet(?). I may have seen this movie on AMC or TCM and it is in black and white. I'm sorry I don't have a time reference but I'm sure this movie was made well before 1965.
Result: Beach Beverly Hills (1993) Thanx Janet the Film Goddess.
There was a movie I saw on USA's "Up All Night" in the late 80's about 3 girls from the Midwest who come out to California. While they're at the beach, all of their clothes (and maybe car) get stolen. They are stuck in LA with nowhere to go. They manage to scour the newspapers and they find an ad where bikini models are needed. Since all they have to wear are their bikinis, they go down, try out and are chosen to be models. They are then put up in a mansion where they meet guys, have exciting adventures in LA, etc. The one thing I remember is that since all of their clothes were stolen in the beginning of the movie, they had nothing to wear except bikinis for the entire length of the movie!! Thus, I do believe that the word "bikini" is used in the title.

I saw this movie about a year ago on the stars showtime movies network. I really want to know the name of the movie, it was in color and fairly modern. It was about a young German Nazi man who falls in love with a pretty Jewish girl, and he tries to protect her and hide her from being cought. The movie does have a few loves scenes and there are some nudity parts in it. The Jewish girl always rides her bike everwhere and is always wearing some kind of sundress. In the end of the movie they get seperated and years later when they are both old the Nazi man see's the Jewish girls grandaughter riding a bike like his girlfriend always did and he thinks its her but its not. They end up meeting again and then the movie ends there.

there was a movie I saw on HBO back in the late 80's or VERY early 90's about an all-girl softball league. They are traveling on a bus that gets hijacked by some bad guys. There is one scene I remember where the bus is taking off from a gas station or maybe a rest stop and one of the girls gets left behind. She comes out, sees that the bus is leaving and chases after it. I think that the women manage to fight back by using their bat-swinging skills.

It is about a WW II army group staying in a castle and one of the soldiers has a little girl with him he is taking care of. She befriends the ghost of the castle. The little girl finds a secret room where the body of the ghost was walled into years before. I think it is a comedy.

I remember seeing it on HBO in the early 1980's, so it must be from the late 1970's. It was about some woman who's face becomes disfigured, and a man who wraps her face in bandages. I believe she was in a terrible car accident or something, and he performed plastic surgery to make her look like someone else (like his ex/dead wife, not sure). And toward the end, she removes the bandages and it is not what she expected. I remember it being a very effective film and it was in color. It was shown at the same time as movies like Fedora and The Manitou. Sounds like Eyes Without a Face, but it was definately late 1970's.

I saw this old movie several years ago on television. It was in black and white and I think it was set in England. The plot revolved around a man that was trying to move up in the line for the succession to the throne. He had a picture with a listing on the back of all the relatives that were in line for the throne and one by one he was picking them off. As he would kill them, he would take down the picture and mark off the name on the list. I remember him shooting one down with an arrow while she was in a hot air balloon. He said something like: "I shot an arrow in the air, and she landed in *** square". Another relative was a Vicker. Unfortunately, I don't remember any of the actors or even how the story actually ended.

Result: Night Shadows aka Mutant) (1984). Thanx Stareater.
The first film's plot revolves around four teens who end up in a mining town where a father has found a blue crystal that reanimates the dead. he promptly raises his long-dead daughter, killed by a motorcycle gang back in the '50s. He manages to create zombies (some are actually mime zombies from a local abandoned amusement park), a mutant goldfish that explodes, and a mutant sea turtle that bites his face and explodes. Lots of explosions, so it might be the film. "Night Shadows" stars Wing Hauser and is a about a town where people are mutated into killer zombies by toxic waste. Just a couple of guesses, but hopefully one of these is the one you're looking for.
I saw a movie in the mid to late eighties, it was a made-for-tv movie I saw on a TV that had very few stations. The programming for that station was titled "Sci Fri" (science fiction on friday night). It was a color movie. The movie was about a bunch of zombies or monsters of some sort who took over a small town, I think in a dusty desert-like place, like Texas. In the beginning of the movie, a woman drives into the town and is told by someone that she should turn around, but she goes anyway. There is a scene in a grocery store with a zombie, it had a white painted face and didn't talk, and it scares her so the woman or another person ends up smashing it into the side of the building with a truck to stop it. I also remember a scene at the end with two guys talking in a trailer, and explosions.
Result: The Haunted: A True Story (again) Thanx EK.
I hope someone can help with this movie I seen it when I was a kid about 10 or 11, one of the scenes involved a blonde woman doing some ironing and a dark shadow walked directly through the wall and vanished. It's a haunted house and their is a part where the father is on the stairs and this lady jumps on top of him and rapes him and it's a ghost/Possessed spirit. "typical amytiville style but isn't that movie" I think it was a movie of the 70s as it had those dreadful haircuts and clothes. I would love this on video or dvd I'm hoping you guys/gals can help I think it might have been made for tv but not 100% sure.

I saw this film on tv in the mid 80's. I'd guess it was made in the mid seventies. I thought it was called behind the green door, but that's apparently an adult film- not looking for that. I saw a movie when I was young and the movie could have been in the 70s or 80s but I remember a family moves into a house and there is a old woman who lives in a room in the house and looks out the window. I think she is evil and weird occurances begin to happen to the family. I am unsure if it was a TV movie or regular movie that aired in TV and would be grateful for any help on this one. I cannot remember any more and it definately is not the Sentinel.
Result: The Haunted: A True Story Thanx Liz.
I saw a movie like 10 years ago. It was a movie about a haunted house. I don't remember to much about the actual movie. I know a bunch of people come and go to the house and pray. The family finally moves but at the very end the family lives in a duplex type house and the mothers parents live next door. The mother hears her mother call her name and when she goes over to see what her mother wanted she finds that her mother never called her to begin with. I think they were implying that the evil spirts had followed this family. I can't figure out the name of it. We thought it was "the haunting in Pennsylvania" but I can not find anything like that anywhere. I thik it was made for TV also.
Result: People Under The Stairs by Wes Craven. Thanx Jonathan.
I don't know if it is exactly in the genre of horror movies, but it is about two brothers on the run- one is a criminal, and they hide out in the suburban home of a perfect Cleaver -like normal looking family who turn out to be insane. The family has catacombs under the house with a bizarre looking brother living under the house. The father is a Viet Nam vet. I believe the whole family consists of a mother, a father, teenage daughter and a son, about 10 years old. I think the movie was made in the mid-90's. The family holds the two brothers hostage and terrorizes them.

Result: Dead Of Night (1945) an anthology film, and the vignette is entitled The Haunted Mirror. Thanx Stareater.
My mother remembers seeing a film when she came home from school for lunch one day so it would have been in the early 60's or late 50's when it aired on television. The scene she remembers is a woman sitting in front of a mirror and then the woman breaks the mirror and a body falls through it.
Result: The Haunted: A True Story (solved by poster) Thanx Liz.
I think this film was made in the 60's or 70's. It has a blonde woman in it (I think), as the Mum and she moves into a house with her family. I think her mum might live next to her. Lots of ghostly things occur, one of which is a black shape/entity appearing. Another time she is in the basement and she hears her mum calling her, so she goes to find her, but her mum never called her. Eventually reporters and parapsychologists get involved and practically camp outside the house. At the end it says the family moved away and that it was based on a true story. Thought it might be the Entity, but don't recognise Barbara Hershey as the woman in it. I remembered it as being called The Haunted or The Haunting, but can only find the famous films with those names.
Result: The Rookie (1990) director: Clint Eastwood; Cast: Clint Eastwood, Charlie Sheen, Raoul Julia. Thanx Thiemannuk.
I saw the start\middle of this film on TV a couple of years ago. Colour and seemed to be from mid\late nineties or early 2000. It is a mix between black comedy and acttion. In one part of the film the main character(male)is held captive in his home by two thugs for a reason I`v forgotten.(I think he owes them money, or he is an ex cop..not quite sure He is beaten quite a lot but just as he is about to escape he is captured by a woman dressed in latex who also has a motive(wich Ive forgotten) to keep him prisoner and torment him. She rapes him while he is tied to a chair....

I saw a movie on tv when i was babbysitting in 95-96 I really dont remember, but it was about this girl who everyone said that her brother was dead, He died in a war, but she thinks he is still alive. I belive it was placed in a Mental Hospital, but I could be wrong. I think the Main guy was Charles Grodin, but I could be totally off base there, because I really dont remember. Close to the end there was a Helicopter that was comming down, and everyone was getting relly excited about it. I never saw the ending, so I dont know what happend.

Result: Shivers (1975) aka They Came From Within. directed by David Cronenberg. But the so-called infection originates inside the apartment building. Thanx Jade, RomanyX, Marphisa, runninrabbit, Mark.
I'm looking for a movie I saw in the mid 70's. It was in color and I saw it in a theater. It was about a bunch of people locking themself's in a hotel or apartment building. They were trying to keep something out. Someone in the building lets a infected person in and the shit hits the fan. They start infecting each other. The way they infect each other is by passing some nasty crap to each other when they kiss.
Result: Fair Game aka Mamba starring Trudi Styler, gregg henry. Thanx kyaCarver.
I saw this movie sometime in the early 90's. (between 91-93) A young woman was trapped in her apartment not knowing that her husband left a poisonous snake to kill her. This snake needs to feed often to release the venom buildup within it. She discovers the snake when filming herself in the bathtub. While standing up from the water she saw the snake attack and miss her.
Result: Over The Edge (1979) with Matt Dillon. Thanx RomanyX, Marphisa, Stareater, Alli, Mark.
Wierd early 1970's film. Color, saw it on TV. teenage actors in the starring roles. set in California, an upscale suburb and the kids are all like alienated from their parents, teenagers kind of go wild, culminating in one night the parents are all at a PTA meeting at the school and the kids, lock them inside, maybe set the building on fire, not sure about that part.
I know in the end they play "ooh Child" while the kids that get caught setting fire to the pta meeting are getting transported to a detention center. I know the movie was set in the late 70's- early 80's.
Result: Can It Be Love (1992) Thanx Alli.
The movie was color from either the mid to late 80's or the early 90's. It was a late night HBO or Showtime type movie. The plot involved these two guys posing as fashion photographers looking for a girl with some kind of a birthmark, rose or heart shaped, on her rear. The girl is an unknowing inheritee and the two guys set up two way mirrors in changing rooms, cameras in locker rooms, etc..... in order to try and find this girl. Pretty much all they know about her is an approximate age and the sorrority that she belongs to. The girl ends up being one of the guys girlfriend who, for some reason, hasn't shown him her ass yet but he sees it while skinny dipping in the ocean late one at night right before the deadline for any relatives to show up and claim the inheritance.

I saw this movie at my school in 1979. The movie begins at a beach and a boy is kickinga soccer ball....later in the movie he finds out he has cancer. The actor had brownish blonde naturally curly hair...at the end of the movie he's in the hospital with his girlfriend and his family....there all crying...he dies. It's a real tear jerker and it isn't Bryan's Song.
I can't tell you the name of the movie, but I can fill in a little more information on this one. This was about a kid that had leukemia. His mother was, I think, Patricia Neal. He does die at the end of this and Patricia Neal starts walking. She walks throughout the city for her son. It was a tv movie that I remember seeing in the 80's.
Result: Haunts Of The Very Rich (1972) (TV) starring Lloyd Bridges among others. Thanx Marphisa.
Right, saw this movie in the mid 1970's in the USA. The plot is as follows: bunch of people on a plane with blackened windows. They dont know why they are on this plane. somebody takes the "black" off of the windows and sees that even though they are travelling west, the sun is coming up from the west. Thus they start to get agitated. The plane goes down. they all survive. I think they all land in the water but they "live". But, what they dont realise yet, is that they are all already dead. After comparing stories with each other, they realise they all had terrible accidents just prior to getting on board the plane. The best part of the film is when their hopes are repeatedly dashed. They are all very thirsty and someone comes to them and says they will bring water, but no water comes. Again and again their hopes are dashed. Cant remember the ending, but they do all realise they are already dead. This may have been a "twighlight zone" made for tv movie. Cant remember one actor in it. it was colour. Its been wracking my brain for years!!!!

I saw a film that i think was an 80's-90's film and i cant remember much of it, but the main plot was 3 friends go on holiday to palm springs (i think) and are driving at night in the desert, when they hit a man and leave him for dead there in the desert The rest of the story is basically about the girls trying not to get caught by the police, but eventually they do get caught and one of the girls kills herself.

Ok, my boyfriend and I are trying to figure out this movie he say about 6 years ago. He saw the movie around 1999, and it was in color. He saw it on TV. Result: He's A Woman, She's A Man (1994) Thanx Will.
This Chinese film is a comedy that was shown on tv few years back from 2000-2004. It was about a guy who goes (sneaks?) into a palace and sees a girl (princess?) who falls in love with him and she follows him by pretending to be a man. They become companions buy later on the guy falls in love with his girl/man companion. Later in the film the girl reveals that she is truly female, and all i remember the ending scene with a tree with pink flowers. some sort of cherry tree or blossom.
Result: Gandahar (1988) aka Light Years Thanx Apostic.
(Sounds like Fantastic Planet to me but poster doesn't think so.)This movie has almost no dialogue. The 'good' characters are blue or purple and naked. They are against some other machine type race that wants to assimilate them or something. The good characters are captured and the machine race try to put them in giant egg like cells in moving convoys. There was also this dome that looked like a brain in the middle of the ocean or water of some sort that the main characters went into and were surrounded in giant bubbles? I think there were two people one man and one woman as the main characters.
Result: Captain Sindbad (1963) Thanx Marphisa.
In the late 50's or 60's a movie about Sinbad was made. I remember it having a giant monster fist or guantlet, and the evil villian sorceror had his heart in a separate chamber and could not be killed by a sword thru his middle, even though it would also probably do some fatal damage to his liver.

I saw a supernatural thriller (u.s.release,color)in 1979.It was shown at a second run theatre,so the year could be 1976-1979.It involved a witch who was cursed over a century ago with immortality as long as she did not fall in love. A reporter researching her story meets her. At the end they are necking under an oak tree when the sky darkens and she starts to age before her horrified lover. He puts his arm up to the sky and says:"take me instead". Probably another 70's movie. Not sure if TV. A little girl comes home and finds family members killed in the kitchen. I remember blood all over the fridge and cabinets and a lot of green color in the kitchen. Not sure if the kitchen was green or there was some weird green tint going on in the film.

Probably a 70's movie about a family of four I think and two men break in and force them to do things at knife or gun point. I don't remember much, but I think they cut the Fathers head off and put it on top of the fridge.
Result: Reborn (1981) Thanx Alli.
Not sure of the year. Maybe 80's or 90's. Starred Dennis Hopper. I think he was a preacher or politician and he was married. I remember he was pretty mean and jealous. I remember she threatened to leave him and he locked her in a room. I also remember a part where he raped her with a bottle.
Result: Elvira Madigan (1967) Thanx Janet The Film Goddess.
My movie is French, I think, definitely foreign, and the 2 main characters are a girl, around age 20, and a man, around 25-30. The girl was a trapeze artist in the circus, I think, and she had run away with the man because they fell in love. Period piece around late 1800s-1900s. The girl always wore a yellow dress, and because they had no money, she would prostitute herself to the men they met while wandering the countryside.
Result: Amazing Stories (1987) episode, Without Diana. Thanx Runninrabbit.
I saw this movie on tv in the late eighties, it was color. I can't remember much about it, but no one in my family remembers it. It was about a little girl who is at a party and goes into the woods after she sees a deer, and then she disappears and comes back years later and hasn't changed.
Result: Sssssss (1973) with Dirk Benedict. Thanx Alli, Stareater.
I remember it had to be the late 70's or early 80's. It was about some guy who somehow was becoming a snake-man. His flesh became all scaley and green and he was living in a carnival trailer/cage where people would look at him as a freak. He knew eventually he would become a snake and this women was trying to figure out how to stop it from happening...possibly his girlfriend. In the end, he had a snake tongue and black eyes and eventually became a snake. Very freaky show and scared me as a kid. This is NOT Dreamscape with Dennis Quaid.

Result: Dangerous Intentions Thanx Thret.
This film is about a couple who live in America (I think in late 80's early 90's), they have a daughter of about 5 years old. I think the film starts with the daughter's birthday party which the father ruins. He then starts to physically abuse his wife when the daughter has left the room. She takes the daughter and goes to stay with her parents (I think there is some funny tie, the husband's dad is now married to the wife's mum or something). The husband comes to get her and starts to hit her in the parent's house in a locked room. Eventually she escapes with her daughter and they manage to change their identity. They move to a new area and go around the neighbourhood asking this question: If you see my front door ligths on in the day time please call the police. Everyone thinks she is weird and are a bit wary of her. In the end her husband finds her and trys to strangle her. His daughter is just about to come home from school when the wife manages to turn the front door lights on. A kindly neighbour does call the police and the man is taken away and arrested. It was on tv in about 1997/8/9
Result: Manny's Orphans (1978) . Thanx Stareater.
I remember seeing a family genre movie, probably 15 to 20 years ago about a brother and sister who end up in the same orphanage/group home. The girl pretends to be a boy in order not to be separated from her brother. I also think there was a reference to soccer too.
Result: Mind Over Murder (1979) (TV) starring Deboarah Raffin. Thanx Marphisa.
I am looking for a movie that I saw on TV sometime between 1980-1982. All I can remember is that there is a lady who is getting something out of the refridgerator when she suddenly has a vision of a plane crashing. She drops whatever she had on the floor. Throughout the movie she has visions of things before they happen, at one point in the movie she is hiding in a closet from a killer who is trying to find her since she saw the vision of him killing someone, the man is a bald headed man and she stabs him in the back of the head with a fork, I think. My mom and I watched this and it scared us to death.
Result: The Water Babies (1978) Direct by Lionel Jeffries, starring James Mason.. Thanx Jeremy, Stareater, Mysty, Marphisa.
I believe the movie is late 70's early 80's. It's a story about a young boy who's a chimney sweep( I think) he gets caught in this English manor and gets chased by hunting dogs to a cliff over a river. He jumps in the swirling water and the film turns to animation with all these talking animals and stuff. Their is a young girl who lives in the house and at the end they some how get together.....I don't recall any famous actors in the movie sorry...I have been trying to find this movie title for 20 years. It's in color and people think I'm crazy when I describe the plot!
Result: When The Bough Breaks (1993) starring Ally Walker. Thanx Marphisa, kyacarver.
I saw a movie on t.v. probably around 1988 - 1992. I didn't have cable, so it had to be on ABC, CBS, NBC, or FOX. Possibly the back drop was in California. I remember seeing a white plain house, with a small back yard and a small white garage. The windows to the basement were either boarded up or painted over. The movie was about this evil man, who had two children, male and female, I think possibly twins. The female child had deformed hands or something, so this evil man (not sure if it is the father) decided to remove both of the childrens hands and switch them with each other. I think he kept the female in the basement with very little light. I don't remember what happened to the male child. Well, the evil man would make this young girl play the piano for him. It looked like he was 'rubbing' up against her while she played the piano, so he could 'releave' himself sexually. The end of the movie, I believe the young female child was rescued. Very disturbing, but I can't get it out of my head.
Result: The Naked Civil Servant starring John Hurt. Based on the biography of Quentin Crisp. Thanx Patricia.
I just remember the last (or was it the first) scene and the fact that it was about a desperately lonely cross-dresser looking for love and acceptance. The scene is that he is dancing around amongst some sailors who are teasing him and he responds as though they are admiring him. I don't remember is the scene suggests that he is experiencing his dream of being the center oc attention and affection by these sailors or whether the suggestion is that they are teasing him and will ultimaely beat him up. This movie haunt scene haunts me...and I have no idea what its called, who was in it, but I think it may have been based on an actual biography.
Result: Funland (1988) with David L. Landers(Sqiggy from Laverne and Shirley). Thanx Alli.
I know it was made in the 80's sometime. Probably mid-late 80's. It was about a guy that went around killing people & he was dressed up as a clown. There's a few scenes that I remember. One is this guy is in the bathroom in like this big building or warehouse & he is washing his face. As he looks up in the mirror, there is the killer clown behind him. The second is there is this black guy walking through this building or warehouse, maybe on a stage, & the clown drops a big butcher knife from up above into his head. I'm also pretty sure that the song "Take These Broken Wings" by the group Mr. Mister was in the movie at one point. I really liked this movie when I was younger & have tried to think of the name for years. I just can't seem to remember it or find it anywhere.
Result: The Four Skulls Of Jonathan Drake The plot is almost identical, but the film was shot in black & white and made in 1960. Thanx Stareater.
The film is from the mid 1970's, Color, set in the 1970's time period, Set in america in a wooded are, possibly the northwest, My recollection of the movie is very fuzzy, what I do rememeber is that the main character was a man in his late 20's I believe he is white, anyway it is a mystery/thriller that involves american indians and their spirits. If I can remember it also involves curses.
Result: When A Stranger Calls Back (1993) (TV) starring Jill Schoelen. Thanx Marphisa.
I saw a movie years ago (on Lifetime, I think) about a girl who was babysitting. I think a man comes to the door and wants to use the phone because his car broke down. Anyway, both of the kids she was sitting for get taken or killed. Then it is years later and she finds a child's shirt in her closet and is sure the killer has been in her house. In the end the guy is in her apartment and he has painted himself to look like the wall. You can only see it's a person when he opens his eyes. This movie was really scary and I have been trying to find the name of it forever. I'm really not sure when I saw it, but it was in color and on TV.
Result: Scream Of Fear (1961) Thanx ALNA70.
I'm looking for a film with an image i'll never forget - this film was black and white probably 60s. i watched it as a child and it ends with a disturbing image of a dead man sat in his wheelchair at the bottom of a swimming pool (i think). i saw it on tv probably in the late 80's/early 90s.
Result: This House Possessed (1981) It was shown on ABC. Thanx Ciella.
The requestor of film #701 seems to have a few films confused together. The bulk of the description is from the 1980 film "The Changeling", starring George C. Scott, about a haunted house. The drowning in the bathtub and the end scene of the house burning down are from this film. The baby carriage is in fact an antique wheelchair, which haunts the couple throughout the film and is seen sitting in the rubble of the fire at film's end. Great atmospheric ghost story, with parts that probably inspired "Ringu" (not the first film to feature a child buried in a well!).
The recollection about a computerized/heavily survielled house may be from 1977's "Demon Seed" starring Fritz Weaver and Julie Christie. The plot of the film revolves around a computerized house that takes on a mind of its own, eventually raping and impregnating Christie with a hyrbid human/cyborg child. The "blood from the showerhead" scene may or may not be from this one.
I saw portions of a horror film sometime between 1977 and the mid 80s.
-It was in color
-The story revolved around what I believe was either a possessed house or one that was intentionally created to do evil.
-The house was either completely run by computers, or at least had an intricate surveillance system. It wasn't a super futuristic looking house either- it could've just been a normal home from that time period.
-There was a scene in which a woman(I believe it was a husband and wife who lived there) was in the shower- and the water coming from the shower head turned to blood.
-I vaguely remember something about the attic- seems to me it was a child being drowned in something up there... I think it may have been either a recollection or a vision of something that happened there some time ago.
-The house burns down, and above the smoldering wood pile at the end of the movie sits an antique baby carriage...which held some sort of significance.
