I watched this movie when I was little and it was about two girls who were in a room and were going through a chest and found a newspaper (I think) and a dress. And when one of the girls put the dress on it took them back in time ( or at least I think it did) to another girls birthday where she would fall down the stairs and become injured. Once they put on the dress they became the girl and had to walk down the stairs and try not to trip while carrying the birthday presents. But when the girl was taken to the hospital the nurse didn't know she was allergic to penaciline because I think her bracelet that said she was had fell off when she had fallen down the stairs. So she would die due to the medicine the nurse had given her. (At least I think she would die I'm not 100% sure). It was in color and it was probably around 2002.

This film was probably early or mid 1960's. Possibly suspense rather than horror. I remember very little except the last few scenes and they are sketchy. it was black and white and on tv. The main scene I remember involves a man returning to a house on a cloudy, windy day and inside- possibly part of the kitchen was an elevator coming down with white sheets hanging out and blood dripping to the floor. There seems to be a lot of sound effects going on such as a telephone ringing, possibly a tea kettle going off on the stove, maybe the elevator floor counter moving.lots of comotion as if the character is horrified to see the elevator descending with this dead body wrapped in sheets. Maybe he was the murderer. The music builds to a horrifying crescendo along with all the afore- mentioned noises. I thought for a long time that the character I remember in this scene may have been Don Stroud or someone resembling him. But a search of Don's film and tv career revealed no answers. It could have even been a late 50's film. At the very end, I believe the police come and take him away.

I saw this film in colour. It had the name dead in it. I am 90% sure of that or it has something to with the living dead or the same theme. I remember I think at the start this white man gets on a bus at night. There is a woman driving it and she begins talking to the man. As the man listens to her she says something scary and then her eyes pop out along with her tongue I think but her eyes definitely stick out and she makes this terryfying ghost noise (like sceaming) as there is a change of scene. By the way, I think the woman driving the bus was telling him about some ghosts or something like that. I am not sure of the year but it is definitely late 1990's and early 2000's.

I believe I saw this film in the late 80s. A family moves into a house(consisting of mom, dad, brother and sister) and they come under attack by monsters/ghosts. The scenes I remember most are the mom opening a kitchen drawer and I think bats(maybe knives, it's been a long time) fly out and cut her. There are two monsters, a white, ghostly woman and a large figure that resembled Jason. At the end of the film, the two kids are in the basement and the monsters are about to attack, but I can't remember how they are defeated. The film ends with one of the kids, I believe the boy, walking off with an old lady in a painting.

I have a vague memory of a B/W film which aired on TV during Thanksgiving weekend in 1974, but was likely produced in the 1950s or '60s. From memory, the time period would have been the late 1800s and the location was probably Britain. The film centered around a young woman (about 16 to 18 years old) who (I believe) was hired as a house servant. The first memorable scene was of a wake being held in the house. The corpse in the open casket appeared to rise during a lightning flash, but was "normal" after the flash ended. (Because it lasted only a split second, the lightning scene was creepy.) Throughout the film was a foreboding about a bell ringing in a churchyard, which would foretell someone's death. The young woman, predictably, hears the bell ringing loudly and consistently. She musters up the courage to investigate after being consoled by another young woman, who I believe was a member of the household. When the two women arrive at the church where the bell is ringing, they find the blind caretaker hanging from the bellfry--the ringing is caused by the caretaker's seeing-eye-dog pulling on his body. The household girl laughs hysterically; the servant girl runs away from her in terror. (I left the room for a few minutes; when I returned the movie was over.)

The older horror film I seek was a late 70's-maybe early 80's tale. The main character [female] and the guy who likes her seem to have stopped some evil thing from happening to her. She is in her big house, when some large demon emerges through the floor, grabs her, and drags her to hell. The guy knocks on the door and calls her name but gets no response, and I believe that is where the movie ends.

Movie was on TV (may have been cable) around 1983. Seemed like a late 70s flick. Set in a country house where a young couple is having a romantic weekend (possibly while the parents are away, and there may have been another young couple in the house). A group of escaped convicts/mental patients find the house. While in the bedroom, the boyfriend hears something and goes to investigate. Just as he leaves the bedroom one of the criminals is there and grabs him by the throat and picks him up, strangling him. Inside the bedroom, one of the criminals is up under the bed and starts stabbing up through the bed with a butcher knife while the girlfriend, who is sitting on the bed, screams and tries to get away. She jumps off the bed and tries to run, but the bad guy grabs her leg and pulls her down under the bed, may have slashed her ankles. It's not "Last House on the Left."

The main thing I remember is the ending.the main character (i think it was a girl) is dying in the street (possibly after an accident) and all of the bystanders around her are people from earlier in the movie. There were little things through out the movie that didn't make sense. The ending reveals that it was all in her head; like she was concocting stories about the people around her as she was dying. I remember a dance studio with an all-window front and ballroom dancers. I would guess the movie was made in the year 2000 or later.it was color, and looked newer, not like typical 80's or 90's film quality. Not sure though. I don't know what genre.not quite horror or drama or suspense. It reminds me of films like "The Jacket" or "Momento"

I think near the end of the movie is a scene where the kidnapper is in a desert cave which is where he is building a giant boat (ark) for what he believes is an impending flood, and he needs to the child, who is kept tied up on the boat, for a blood sacrifice for some ritual he has to perform. I think the child gets free and somehow kills the kidnapper, possibly with help from his parent(s) that finally find the cave.

Softcore film shown on Cinemax; I last remember watching it around 1994-1996. Takes place in the north African desert, probably in Egypt. Female main character has blondish-red curled hair. Notable scenes:- She and her dark-haired guide are riding a horse past some pyramids, she seated in front of him. While riding, he lifts up her skirt and they have sex.- Pays a large dark-haired caucasian guy to have sex with her while she is seated in a chair inside some room. Someone watches through the latticework; drums playing in the background.- Like before, but on a bed and with a third person who is dark-skinned and appears to be a native of the area. Becomes a straight+sodomy scene, with the third person sandwiched between the caucasian guy and the woman.Toward the end of the film, the woman's estranged and betrayed husband (or boyfriend) follows her into a restroom, slaps her across the face, and has revenge sex with her.Heavily-dubbed, so almost certainly a European softcore film.

I'm pretty sure this is a well-known movie, at least among cinephiles. It's a 50's or 60's hard-boiled detective drama, a bit film noir. The memorable, classic scene is very early in the film, maybe even the first scene. A man has been murdered and left in a pool (maybe drowned there, maybe thrown there later) and the scene I remember is shot from under the water, as if from the dead man's perspective, looking up, as the investigating detectives walk up to the side of the pool.

She leaves his stranded, he walks, ends up at the lab gets teleported with her to another dimension. I seen this animated movie about Greek Mythology back in the 1980's. I'm not sure if it was made in the 80's though. I think the movie is about the 7 Deadly Sin's but I'm not sure. I don't think there is any talking in it, just music in the background. The movie also has diffrent stories to it, each story is about different sin's (I think, I'm not sure). Each story has the same character (a young boy) playing different roles but is the lead role in each story. I think it starts out with the boy hiding behind bushes or weeds watching a goddes shower under a waterfall, she is also naked (I remember that part so clearly because I was so shocked to see someone naked in a cartoon cause I was only 4 or 5 years old), anyway a couple of fairies wrap her up in a towel when she is done then the towel turns into a dress. She notices him spying on her then she gets mad and turns him into a deer. Then all of a sudden he is being chased by hunters and dogs through the forest. He is running for his life then all of a sudden his antlers get stuck in tree branches and he can't escape, then it shows the dogs about to attack him when it cuts to a different story. One of the stories has the word ENVY in it. I just remember a little part of the other stories, one is a girl turns into a snake because she is jealouse of another girl because the girl likes the young boy. And there is a Greek God with wings on his shoes that makes him fly.

Many years ago (probably in the early 80's) we were watching a movie on TV, one very later Staurday night, which was about the Continental Congress and what it took to get to the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The film, we believe, was 2 hours long. Could have been longer, just not sure, but know it was at least 2 hours. It was just a very information and moving film that showed all of the trials and tribulations that those men went through to get it drafted and signed. We used to think that one of the main characters in the film was Robert England (Freddie Kriger) but when I have searched his film credits I don't see anything that looks like it could be this film. The movie I am looking for, I had seen on satelite in late 80's early 90's. I remember young girls being sent to live with families, not sure if they were to be the help. one girl ends up with a family, where the wife could not have children. the husband decides the girl will be a surroget. the scene where the baby is conceived is very graphic, the husband has the wife sit in their bed with the girl sitting between her legs, then he proceeds to have sex with the girl leaning against his wife.
Result: Bitter Moon ( girl poors milk on breasts ) Thanx alan. Jul 4, 2009
I remember watching a movie on showtime or cinemax around the late 80's early 90's. A woman has an affair in the restroom of a restaurant, and later has sex with a guy while he is pouring milk on her breasts, The man later kills her lover while they sleep and she begs him not to kill her, so they have sex while the dead lover is on the floor, so they later bury the man in the backyard.

Trying to find a sci-fi movie between late 80's to the early 2000's. It's about a spaceship that works for a big corporation. Their job is to haul trash. Most of the crew sleep in life support systems, there is usually only two people awake at a time. Two men are the crew in the beginning, they find a piece of "space junk". Later it is revealed to be a satellite from earth that has been missing for a long time. But it has been altered, whenever someone steps close to it they are sprayed. They find out they are being infected with something. They start to lose their minds and destroy the ship and try to destroy each other. A man and woman wake from life support on the ship and get infected. It is policy that a man and a woman on the same crew cannot engage in a relationship, but they do any way. The movie closes with the man and woman spending the rest of the time they have left together in the control room.

I watched this movie between 2007 and 2009 it was on Hbo/Cinemax or another premium channel it was late so i guess it was an after dark movie or late night it was in color. the movie seemed to have taken place in america outside of a major city the sky I think was purple or hade a tint but i was after i guess a war with nuke i guess it was about surivores they lived in caves they were i think the second generation there parents had set up a new religion were the precher would have sex with one of the girls every so often the kids eventualy wanted to escape they went into the city and passed out somewere when they woke up they were in a room that seamed like a penthouse in a hotel with a wall of tv and a mini bar there were 2 teens there that were not part of the group there was one man and one women they were lovers the man wanted the group to go swiming in a pool with no close on the 2 seemed to be swingers and were telling the group to have sex.
Result: The Alpha Incident (1978) four people, who may or may not be infected with an escaped deadly virus, are quarantined in a railroad depot overnight where if they fall asleep the virus causes their brains to swell and burst. In the end though, the last two survivors of the night (both are men) are purposely killed by a government SWAT team to keep them silent. Thanx Midnight Creeper, Geoff. Jul 1, 2009
I'm searching out a film that I saw on late-night tv, possibly as long as 15 years ago! The plot was simple: a group of people are quarantined at a rail station (?). For some unknown reason, when they fall asleep, their face/body melts in a good horror film way. The film ends with the last people alive: a male/female couple falling asleep after several nights awake. The wake to a morning and realize that they have survived their sleep.
Result: The Leopard Man (1943) starring Dennis O'Keefe, Margo, Jean Brooks, Isabel Jewell, James Bell, Abner Biberman. It's worth your while to check out other Val Lewton productions: Cat People (1942), The Curse of the Cat People, I Walked With a Zombie, The Seventh Victim, Bedlam, Isle of the Dead, and The Body Snatcher (1945). Early to mid 70's the end of the movie was a girl age6-10 who's parents made her run an errand, she begged not to because she had been stalked by a Black Panther?( or some large cat) through the woods. Mother made her go, it chased her back and she banged on the door, they did not open and you see her blood running under the door. May take place in a foreign country, not a foreign film, quite possibly in B&W.

I cant remember when the movie came out, but im sure it was in the 80's, around the time of 'the accused'. I cant remember the entire plot of the movie, but I remember a woman who is brutally raped in her car, then somehow, her rapist finds out where she lives and holds her captive - raping and beating her repeatedly, until she somehow gets the better of him (maybe she throws hot greese in his face?) and locks him in her fireplace, getting ready to bury him alive until her roomate comes home and catches her in the act. I thought the movie was called the morning after, but I read the plot for that one and its not familiar at all.
Result: The Time Machine (1960) The creatures were called Morlocks. The Morlocks are furry white ape-like creatures that could be considered similar to Mugatos, except they don't have horns. But they do live underground. Thanx Jeremy, Midnight Creeper, MystMoonstruck, RomanyX. Jul 9, 2009
a sci-fi/horror movie possibly mid 60's it had white "apes" creatures (with a single horn coming out of the top of their head maybe)-not Mugato from Star Trek, but there were more than one. They came from underground, the entrances to theirs lairs were cylindrical and looked like they were made of cement. May have been British film? not sure.

I saw this movie in color on TV in the 80s or ealy 90s. It was about a boy and a carnival that came into town. The boy sneaks out his house at night and sneaks into the carnival. He sees the ringmaster who catches him, he may have been with another kid, and he runs home. The ringmaster chases him becasue he wants him to join the cirus forever or something. Then I remmeber some spiders everywhere in the boys room.

it's about this guy (a "doctor" he calls himself i think) and he kidnaps 4 beautiful girls, around their 20's give or take a little. He chains them up in an old warehouse and streams the happenings to the internet. People watching it can then vote/decide what the "doctor" does to the girls, but if i remember correctly there's something about the people watching get cursed or damned or something like that. Year. probably 90's or more recently in the 2000's, but don't take my word for it.

I think that this was from a horror movie from the mid 80's. I'm pretty sure that's when I saw it. There is a kid with the power to see a picture of something, say "bring", and whatever is in the picture appears in real life. His parents keep him really sheltered because they know of his power. I don't think they had a tv or let him outside. Somehow he gets a picture of a puppy from a magazine, says "bring", and a dead dog appears in the floor right in front of him. I guess it was the same dog in the picture. I think after that he starts using his power more and of course bad things happen.

There was a man and a woman who were brought together by clues to their childhood home, in a foreign country, and it was abandoned because of bad things that happened there years ago, but nobody will speak of the circumstances. They are eventually stranded at this house, and they discover their future ghosts live there and they are able to see the past, and it is confirmed by clues in the house. What they discovered is that their mother was killed by their father, and they were supposed to be left for dead. The girl drowned and the boy left for pig slop. Their ghosts show signs of them dying in this way. So they are led to believe that they were brought to this house to finish their fate that was laid out for them years ago.

i am looking for a movie i saw in the late 80's. all i remember is this creature, possibly an alien, attacking this cat in an alley and taking over its body. the cat then goes to a hospital and the creature inside it comes out and takes over a man on a hospital bed. it goes on from there. i believe after the patient, it was a young woman. not sure if this site is still active, but figure it's worth a shot. thanks!

I rented this on DVD at blockbuster in the early 2000's-2007 but it could have been a late 90's film. The only thing I can remember are two goth friends (male and female) in a school I think? Near or on a cliff, they get bullied or tormented by the jocks and one day the male goth decides to race one of the bullies down a narrow road, he eventually runs off the cliff and dies, a year or so later on the anniversary of his death the female friend has a seance in his house or her house by an ocean? He comes back and I believe kills everyone at the seance including his friend.

It was set in a dark old house with a group of young people and it had a nasty winged creature/demon with really sharp teeth that was roaming around pouncing on them one by one everytime they split up. The last bit i remember was a character saying something along the lines of 'There's something not right about the house' or 'There's something in the house'.

I first saw this color film on a "Friday night frights" type of television late night movie show, 1977 or 78. It could have been a made for TV film, but I doubt it. The plot, to the best of my memory, was this: Four or five people (the female lead was pregnant) in a small plane had to crash land. They ended up in a small town that was controlled by an unseen flying creature. The townspeople acted as though they were brainwashed or under some form of mind control. The people from the plane soon discovered that there was a clear, impenetrable barrier keeping them from leaving the town. When they tried to crash through the see-through barrier, the truck they were driving exploded. It was then lifted upwards by the unseen creature. Towards the end of the film, a place was discovered in a carnival in the middle of the town that housed the creatures power. When it was destroyed, some goofy rubber mask fx were used to portray the dying creature. Looks like early to mid 70's quality to me, but I'm not so sure.

I remember seeing the movie on tv, either showtime, hbo or disney- it was 93-96. I remember a boy who lived with his mother(he had some kind of issue with her, and she was feeble for some reason). He was playing in their back yard and he falls down this hole, into a cartoon world. He goes through and eventually happens on a character named King Neptune, who is laying on a matress that is filled with water and fish. He gets mad and chases the boy, and he eventually returns home.

I can't remember any character I was born in 83 so i know it was between 83-90 when i saw it. It came on TV. It was like the kids were left home alone I believe with like a older brother or something like that. They go inside the fireplace and they are in like a whole other world. Like animals and creatures dinosaurs and things. I think they have to keep coming out because the doorbell keeps ringing or the parents some back or something.

A movie I saw about 2000 about friends [4 or 5], and one is a priest, who are invited to a reunion at a cabin by one of the people. The motive for the reunion is that these friends were involved in a rock quarry murder about 20 years prior. The quarry has now been drained or the water level fell so low that the truck, the man who was murdered, and the murder weapon [gun] are now exposed, revealing a murder that was unknown and unsolved. The man who arranges the reunion is trying to get people together to get the gun back and/or thwart an investigation and indictment. I thought Richard Dreyfuss was one of the actors.but not. The reunion turns into quite violent among these friends as the truth of the reunion comes out and memories and accusations get bandied about. If you can dredge anything up from your memory banks I would be very grateful. I am trying to do google searches on variations of the movie description in the meantime. The movie was on VHS, I do not know if it has been transferred to DVD.

i recall the plot being a single parent with three children struggling to raise them in the citythey packed up and left the city and arrived at a piece of land next to a house in the middle of nowhere the land being owned by the owner of the house. the mother asked the owner of the land if she could build a house for her family on the land and over the course of the film her and her three children built a home from scratch until one night it went up in flames and they were once again left homeless - the owner of the house next door and the land then helped the woman financially to build the home she had always wanted for her familyfor some reason i thought the woman was played by rosanne barr however i now have come to realise that the character must have been someone similar to herthe only other things i can remember about the film is that she used to punish her eldest son by telling him to go fetch your fathers belt and that at christmas time instead of spending money on presents for the kids she spent money on things they needed to build the house and was too proud to accept charity gifts to give her children

I am looking for a movie I saw on tv when I was young (born 1983), probably around '89 or so. The movie takes place in modern-day '80s/90's. From what I remember, a mother let her kids play outside while she takes a shower (she could see them out the shower window, i believe). The kids disappear. I want to say Mary Steenburgen is the mother, but I can't find any movies similar to those she has made. My sister believes the title is something like "Where did the children go?", although she may be completely off. It turns out that an older male neighbor had been watching them and had taken them. He kept them somewhere inside of her house. The children are young, a girl and boy around the ages of 5-8. Both are blonde-the little girl is cute and the younger of the two. In the end, there is a scene where the children and older man are on top of a high roof at night in the rain. I think the old man falls off the roof and into a lake (or some other body of water).

it's a movie from the late eighties or early nineties and it's in color. It's about this boy maybe in late elementary school and his brothers and their single mother. They have a neighbor next door and he is a composer/conductor/something to do with music that I think is probably classical. All I remember is that there is a scene where one of the boys is peeing at his house at night and he looks over to see his neighbor killing someone and hiding the body under his porch, and then the boy begins to miss the toilet bowl. I saw it in the middle to late nineties and I was young so I feel that it wasn't a completely adult movie because I felt that it was kind of a kid movie, but it had murder in it so I have no idea what I'm feeling the rating was.

I originally thought that this rememberance of a particular scene was from the movie Sybil, but it isn't. I am looking for a film that involves some sort of "crazy" young woman. I remember the woman rubbing raw meat all over the walls of her kitchen in some sort of fit.and it seems as if they (the people who are trying to help her) discover the rotting meat in her kitchen. It isn't a horror film, and I think the woman may have been a college student - for some reason, I think the movie is about this girl trying to live a normal college life, but she has these deep-seeded psychological issues. It reminds me of Sybil with Sally Field, but I'm about 99.999% sure it isn't Sybil.
