I have been haunted by a film I saw as a young child. I was about 6 years old. I saw it on TV and I believe it would have been around 1964. It was a black and white movie about WWII. The only part I remember is, a soldier stops his jeep and watches an old Japanese woman as she is walking on a dirt road with a young child. They walk toward the edge of a cliff and look over the side down to a beach below. The woman takes the hand of the young child and they jump to their death. The camera stays on them the whole way and you see their bodies thump on the beach.

I saw a movie on TV in the early 90's that I cannot find the name of. I am guessing it was (1990-1994). It was American, in color, and was never in the theaters. It was a lifetime, hallmark, tbs, tnt, etc. type of movie. I am not sure which one. The movie was based around a man who had grown up and was telling a story about a girl he knew when he was younger (they were about 7-10 years old). The story was obviously set back in time ( in the 50's, 60's perhaps). He and his mother or family had moved to a town near the beach. He did not have many friends and did not know how to swim. The girl befriended him and they played on the beach together a lot. She would always go swimming and would try to get him to come out with her but he was too scared. One day he finally decided that he was tired of not knowing how to swim. So she taught him how to. His mother told him that even though he knew how to swim now, he was still not to go without her there. One day the girl enticed him to go swimming with her when no one was around. I think a storm came up or something like that, but she drown. He could not save her because he was not a good enough swimmer. Her body was never found. At the end of the movie, it fast forwarded to years later when he returned with his wife (I cannot remember if there were children there too) to that spot on the beach where they had played so many times and she had drown. He was telling his wife that story. He cared so much for that girl he just wanted to come back to their spot. While they were standing there looking at the ocean, an older man (fisherman) in a rowboat, rowed onto the shore. They looked inside his boat and saw that he had caught some remains/bones in his net. The man knew that those were the remains of his girlfriend when he was young. Somehow there was also some hair with the bones (she had blonde hair).

What is the name of that movie about a black man (possibly a pimp - I say that becuase he was always dressed in a suit with a hat and I seem to remember him wearing a long coat) who died and his spirit got into different people who then began killing other people with a shaving razor. The film, going by how the actors were dressed, took place in the 50's or 60's (it could've even been the 70's). I watched it on TV many years ago. I was born in 1970 and I watched in during my teen years (I believe it was during the 1980's). I thought the name of it was The Spirit Of St. Louis or The Spirit Of '76, but I have researched both of those titles and the movies that came up were not it.

The footage looked no older than the mid 1990's and it seems likely that it was an episode of a TV horror/sci-fi anthology OR perhaps a series by virtue of these facts: I think what I saw was an hour in length (w/ads), the film seemed to leave the viewer with a "thought-provoking" ethic or moral (as 'The Outer Limits' episodes did), and it may have had a series logo or series-specific footage in the intro, transitions to ads, and ending/credits. I have exhaustively reviewed summaries for every episode of: The Outer Limits, Twilight Zone, and 'Tales From the Dark Side', (though, I cannot be sure I didn't miss one somehow) and I just can't find this.A team of government & military employed scientists have developed a machine by which they can view an alternate dimension/reality/quantum space/parallel world/universe that "exists" (in a sense) in the same "space" that our world exists - but neither universe has been able to detect the other (until now). It was as if this universe was vibrating in a different quantum state from ours. Apparently, the machine was capable of creating a very large "one way" window into this Alternate Dimension (A.D. is my abbr.). The window to A.D. showed an early America Western "frontier" farm property. It appeared to be a small slice of a beautiful, simple utopia from America's past (between 1850 and 1910). This window seemed to show maybe 2-3 acres of land including a large house at the far end of this space (as perceived via the dimensional window). There also appeared to be a multi-generational west-American settler/pioneer family living there including: a beautiful (apparently widowed or single) young mother, a boy of about 9, a grandpa figure, and perhaps more. The A.D. window, perpetually operating, was observed and studied by the researcher characters in this story. However, the A.D. characters seemed always unaware of the other-dimensional observers. The main character, was a male scientist-researcher (or maybe a military figure?) in his 30's (also a widow, single, or divorced). A very pivotal moment in the story was when the A.D. family was outside playing in this large country yard they had, and (I don't remember specifics) they may have been playing a game with a ball or maybe a stick that happened to be thrown by an A.D. character very high and far. So far, in fact, it traversed the dimensional window boundary. The A.D. boy chased the thrown object, but instead of remaining in A.D. and merely out of view, it instead passed through the quantum border and was no longer visible to the A.D. characters (which, of course, generated some confusion for the boy). It was determined from this observation that there was a very limited, regular, daily, amount of time when the window could be traversed from our side. I can't remember how long but I don't believe it was any longer than 7 minutes. The main male researcher character developed a very strong empathy and attraction for the young mother. The A.D. characters could walk all the way to the window boundary and appear to within ten feet of an observer in our dimension, but have no awareness of them. Because of this, the "hero" was a studious 'voyeur' of the A.D. mother. Over time, he noticed she appeared at times to be grieving, and he longed to aid her somehow. Eventually, of course, against the strict and wise council of colleagues and close friends, and against all good practice and protocol of the investigative authorities, he "followed his heart" and wanted to join with this A.D. woman, fall in love, and start a new life in this, by all appearances, utopian A.D.(I LOVED this episode/movie because, up to this point, there was absolutely ZERO indication that anything about the A.D. was sinister. You believe the researcher was acting out the best possible option for his situation. Nothing of the music progression, camera light-gels, script, screenplay, non-verbal cues, etc. gave nuance or even hint of any sort of problematic issue with the researcher's romantic notions.)On this particular day, during the seven seconds (or minutes) the boundary could be traversed, the A.D. young mother happens to be standing unaware at the near corner (within just a few yards of the quantum window "vantage point") where the researcher makes the crossing. After he crosses over, the young mother appears startled and surprised, but very soon calms herself and even begins to smile. Without even an exchange of words, they approach each other, and clasp each others hands in a warm greeting. Then, there is an excessively-long suspension where she smiles at him beatifically -- which, ironically, instantly clued me in that something was very menacingly wrong. He then appears to attempt to begin some kind of conversation. However, the focus YANKS jaggedly back to her and the warm mood instantly vanishes. I believe she shifts her gripping hands up to vice his shoulders, and, oddly, unexpectedly, she rears back her head (CG graphics take over here), and her entire head & face has very rapidly metamorphosed into that of an electrifyingly-hideous, shark-mouthed, black-spiral-eyed, humanoid predator she-creature. (BTW, I would NOT classify her as "vampire". This creature wasn't something I had ever seen before in any mythology. It was unique.) The predator quickly and savagely goes to town on the researcher's entire face, neck, and head (away from camera). He crumples almost immediately to the ground with the she-creature continuing to gorge on his flesh. The rest of the frontier family, having witnessed the new feast "find", excitedly laugh, cheer, skip, cartwheel, and run (without metamorphosis) out to the picnic. The enigmatic grandpa figure, apparently comprehending all that has transpired, rapidly produces what perhaps is an occultic spell book, somewhat near the window's vantage point, speaks aloud some unknown text up to the sky, waves his hand in a circular motion, and the entire A.D. window frontier landscape vanishes. The observers in our dimension are, understandably, horrified beyond comprehension, not only for the vicious death of their friend, not only for the fact someone so sincerely benevolent would be destroyed by the very one he wanted to love, but for the realization that these demonic predator creatures, (because the grandpa figure REVERSED the dimensional window/gateway) will soon have observatory powers & ACCESS to OUR dimension. The memory of that horrible transformation and philosophically "cosmicist" ending powerfully seared itself into my memory. I saw this on TV around 2000, and now want to see it again

This is a movie from the 70's. and I only remember one bizarre, intense scene. It's a group of elderly people gathered in a building under construction. They have an old man bound and gagged in a wheelchair amongst the construction. I don't remember any dialog in this scene. They pour concrete over him and encase him in a box, except that the tip of his shoe is exposed. One of the old men grabs an axe and chops the shoe off - he picks it up and the toes fall out. They all seem unphased by this - as if it's a "body snatchers" type movie. The next day they show the concrete tomb getting demolished.

I saw this horror movie on late night TV as a child in the 70s, however the film may have been made in the late 60s or 70s. The movie opens in a room with a woman dressed in ceremonial robes performing some ritual or ceremony, apparently to summon something. At some point in the ritual, an image appears in the middle of the floor of some zombie looking creature (like a backlit photo). She immediately panics and starts stomping on the image, which then disappears. Her relief is short lived as she hears something approaching the room and looks to the curtain that covers the doorway. She starts to scream and I think all of a sudden you hear "Cut!" or something to that effect. Maybe she interrupts the scene. That's when we learn it is actually a movie set, they were filming some movie with an occult theme, and the woman is some pampered actress who is difficult to work with. They are using some big house and the crew and actors end up staying on site over night while filming. During the process, either throuh some prop, or some other means, something does accidentally get summoned. But I believe it digs itself up out of the ground, like a grave somewhere on the property. The thing was probably zombie like and goes about taking out the crew and actors one by one until pretty much everyone is dead by the end of the movie. I think the zombie was carrying one young dead female somewhere in the end.

I saw this film on a cable channel about the year 2002 to 2005 it could have been a made for cable TV movie. The film is in color, English language and the location is somewhere in Europe. What I can remember of the plot is that it had an occult theme. A 30 something women kept diving into a flooded basement of the next door building. The basement was completely furnished with antique furniture and carpets. The woman saw a pendant necklace on the bottom of the flooded basement and she kept diving underneath the water until she could grab it. The necklace had some supernatural significance and the woman later went to a library to find out about the necklace or to meet a man who had the answers. the cinematography of diving into the flooded and elaborately furnished basement stuck in my mind.

There are 2 distinct scenes I remember: The movie starts off with a guy in an attic reading satanic (i'm guessing) writing off the wall, then he jumps onto a knife that is in a bedspring facing upwards and kills himself. After that he is in a "parallel world" connected to a normal man. The other scene I remember, is that they are both driving, one in this world, one in the other, and the "evil side" guy is swirving the car and what not to screw with the normal guy because he is "connected" to him, so the normal guy burns hismelf with the car cigarette lighter to burn the "evil" guy in the parallel world and hurt him. Also, I do believe that somehow the evil guy holds the normal guys family hostage or sometype of that in a an area that is sort of boiler roomish/construction area.

What i do remember is a young brother and sister who have a father who is abusive to the mother (maybe them too). They have a playhouse and escape to it when their father hits their mother. although it looks like a normal playhouse, inside it is as big as a mansion. I also remember they would invite other kids to the playhouse and then trap them in there/scare them. i remember faces pushing into the walls (as though the walls were rubber). Similarly (don't think it was the same movie, but if it was a twilight zone episode perhaps it was another twilight zone episode) I remember scenes with faces pushing through walls as though the walls are rubber scaring a mother who then panicks and goes to check on her son. Her son is sleeping, but the "wall monster" writes on the wall "don't tell". That's all I can remember.

I wouldn't call this movie a horror movie per se, but to a small child of about 6 years old, it was pretty scary. It was an animated movie I think it was released in the late '70s or early '80s and came out -i think- around the same time that The Fox and the Hound was released and could potentially have been shown together as a double feature. I thought it was The Black Cauldron but on watching that particular movie, it doesn't seem to have the scene that I am looking for - and for some reason, I think that I remember the NO ONE seems to have a clue what I am talking about! I will try to relay what I remember of the movie. All that I can remember of the movie was that there was a boy who went (perhaps got taken?) to a castle or tower where there was an evil creature that was either a shadow or had degenerated into a shadow due to its evil. There is a scene that stands out in my mind where the boy and this shadow are on a spiralling staircase or are in a castle tower and the boy is trying to get away from the evil shadow when the shadow scratches the boy's shadow - which results in the boy himself also getting wounded. I think Chernabog from Fantasia's Night on Bald Mountain/Ave Maria segment was in it but I am not positive anymore - it has been far too long since I saw the movie at the cinema when I was a little girl.

I happened to see part of a coloured film on TV a few years back but didn't manage to finish it. I don't think it's a really old film, maybe 90s. From what I could gather and remember, it was probably set in America. A couple go to visit and stay over at his family's place (in a big house out of the city I think. They seem rather weird. I'm not sure if he was estranged from his family before the decision to go visit. I think his family consisted of his mother, 1 or 2 brothers and a hot, black-haired sister. At night when everyone had supposedly retired, the girlfriend/fiancee goes downstairs to get something (I think, or to look for her boyfriend) and accidentally catches a glimpse of her boyfriend sitting on the sofa with his sister sitting astride him and passionately kissing him like they were lovers.

I saw this movie in the early 90's on cable. It was in color and I'm not sure what channel it was on. For some reason the word Green stands out in my mind. It was about a Mexican family that had to deal with gang violence in their neighborhood. I know one sister was always dressed provocatively and was getting the wrong kind of attention from some of the gang members when she decides to dance on top of a coffee table. I think some of the siblings were in a gang and their family wanted them to get out. I think one of the little brothers die from a drive by. This movie was very sad I'm guessing several people die throughout it, I think in the opening credits it had the name of the movie on a street sign, like Green Avenue or something. I'm not sure.

It must have been made in the 60's or 70's. it's in color. I believe the french translation is called "angoisse". It's the story of a rich couple who always play pranks on each other for fun. The husband is a sculptor and at one point he decides to take his pranks to the next level without telling his wife. He lets her believe they have accidently killed the delivery man and tells her he put the corpse in one of his sculptures. (which in reality he had filled up with sand to let her believe it was the weight of the corpse inside) They also have a house guest, this old rich woman who shows up. The husband is basically trying to have his wife committed so he can inherit her fortune. She ends up in a mental institution and in the last scene we found out that the husband and the old woman were plotting together. They cheer at their success with a glass of champagne which we learn has been poisoned by the old woman. She leaves with all the money having killed the husband and gotten rid of the wife.

In the late 90's, I saw a short film on IFC. It was part of a short film marathon. The movie was about a Mailman going through a midlife crisis/mental breakdown. At first, he was living a normal life. However, he later snapped. He quit going on his route, he stole letters, got into verbal fights with his wife. At one point in the film, he started 'planting and watering' the stolen letters. In the end, his wife left him and he was later arrested for his criminal behavior. Furthermore, I saw the movie on iFilm dot com. But the website was later sold and I can not search the site. From my memory, the movie could be 45 to 90 minutes long.

I'm looking for a film which I saw in the early 90's. I rented the film on VHS a few times. Looking back it could have been a TV movie or straight to video movie.I don't think it was released at the cinema. It was an American film about a girl (early 20's) and she worked at a mall. I think she had some personal problem; she was quite shy etc.Anyway a security guy watched her on the video in the mall and went to meet her. They had a romance and eventually had a baby. Then one day the baby disappeared. If I can remember right the girl was accused by everyone including the boyfriend/husband of murdering the baby? The girl went against police and eventually fond that the baby had been snatched, turns out it was by her boyfriend/husband who was leading a double life. He gave the baby to his other wife, who was lead to believe the baby was adopted. So this girl realized she was just used to have a baby for this family who couldn’t have children naturally.

The setting must be around the 1940's and the military comes through the town to find him. The owner's daughter finds him and they fall in love with each other. The only scene I can remember is when the daughter gets into trouble for something and the father takes her outside to whip her. The soldier sees what is happening from the loft and runs out to save her, but by doing so he would expose the fact that he is hiding there. She sees him coming towards her and yells "Stop" (of course the father thinks she is talking to him and whips her harder); the soldier runs back into the barn.

The movie starts off with this young man probably a senior in high school who is living with an older man who is not his father. Anyway, something happens one night where a funny creature is released from a clock. This creature helps the guy find who his real parents are. The guy tries to impress a girl and brings her and I think another friend along with the creature to the mansion that his deceased rich parents used to live in. A man who is now running the kid's real father's company wants to hide the mansion from the kid. He hides it behind a huge office building and plans on ripping it down to find the fortune that lies within as well as build a new building over top of it. So the kid and his friends find the house, break into the basement and find a ton of money as well as a torture chamber and two ghosts who try to torture the kids. The house is also being torn down while they are inside. They escape with a ton of money.

I remember the movie took place in either a big house or mansion. One character was a butler, who when he hears a bell, becomes possessed. I believe that there was some kind of mind control experiments going on, and this butler whould kill after hearing the bell. The film was not like a regular movie, it was filmed in video tape, I think. I used to watch a selection of similar films late night, on Fridays or Saturdays. I would love to find the collection of films so I can see them all.

I seem to remember the creepy guy, (I don't know if it was a monster or a troll or what),trying to lure the boy in or talk him into something. I can remember that the creepy guy spoke well and I think he was wearing a little suit. (He kind of reminded me of an ugly little evil butler. But you can't tell he is bad at first.) It wasn't a very scary movie but the dude in the closet gave me the willies! The scenery I can remember was the kids room and it was dark and I remember blue and white flashing lights during the climax.

I'm looking for a movie from around 6 or more years ago. I do not remember any of the actors, and I only have a vague idea of the plot.I'm pretty sure that the movie was about a family or a young couple who move into a seemingly perfect suburb with perfect lawns and houses, but also many strict rules. However there is a monster or some sort of terror that the residents of the community refuse to speak of and it attacks when rules are broken. One scene I remember goes as follows:A man who I think was watching TV or dozing during the night, suddenly notices that the light bulb in the lamp of his front yard has burnt out. In a panic, he rushes outside to replace it since the rules state he needs the light to be on at night, but is too late and is attacked by something. I think the street lamp he had been trying to fix looks like one of those spheres on top of a pole. At some point, the male lead of the film gets tired of the community's secrecy about the threat, and retaliates by breaking as many rules of the community as possible to try to lure the monster. I think one of the rules was about lawn decorations, and he breaks this by putting pink flamingos on his lawn.

There was a scientist who had created some sort of monster or mutant in his lab (which might be in his house, not sure). When he took off his glasses, he had no pupils but all-white eyeballs that could melt an individuals' head. The melted head looked like little pillars of melted styrofoam. As he melted somebody, the sound effect was a fast-crackling electrical sound. The bulk of the film was the authorities trying to stop him. I believe I must have been early teens so the movie was most likely released in the mid to late 80's or early 90's. The movie is about some boy who is being chased by a couple of men. I'm not sure why the boy is being chased or it's possible he was kidnapped by them. I want to say that the boy saw them do something but I'm not sure. There is a scene where they are at a house and someone shoots the television set. The boy gets away and leads the men through a chase on a mountain. The boy finds a guy living on the mountain who helps him along by suppling rope and possibly some other items. I remember that the man living on the mountain has some type of windmill? The boy has to cross some river which I remember, I believe that at this point the guys chasing him have caught up and he almost falls. There is also a zip-line used at some point in the film. At the end the boy is sitting high up on a ledge with a fire burning and a helicopter rises out of know where and hovers there for a moment and then leaves.I want to say that I believe the boy and his father were going somewhere together and the boy saw the men kill someone or rob someone so they had to kidnap the boy?
