Result: If These Walls Could Talk (1996) HBO - The first segment with Demi Moore. She bleeds to death (from a botched abortion) on her kitchen floor. Thanx Suzette. Sep 1, 2008

What I can tell you is that at the very end of the movie, there is a scene of a woman dying (bleeding) on a checkered black and white tile floor. the camera moves upward, exposing more of the floor around her and i believe it fades out to black for credits. my guess, based on what i remember and what i know now, is that it might be either an american made or italian made suspense / horror film made in the 80s. i saw it on a premium cable channel sometime in the early nineties.

Result: Gamera (a flying turtle) movies from Japan (too many to list, but it's a start) Thanx Janet the Film Goddess. Oct 5, 2008

I remember very little about this film. There are flying alien turtles without shells that fly around and blow up cars in major US cities. I saw the movie in the late 60's or early 70's and it was horrible, my parents and grandparents walked out. It was in color and the special effects were unbearable. I've always wanted to figure out what that film was, but it was so bad that no-one in my family remembered the name, only the sick feeling they had in thier stomachs.

Result: The Skull (1965) British horror film from Amicus Productions, with stalwarts Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing. Based on a Robert Bloch short story. Thanx Midnight Creeper. Sep 7, 2008

The plot was about a rich guy buying statues of the four princes of hell at an auction. The statues carried a curse, of course. I watched it in TV in the late nineties, and it was already old by then, but it wasn't black and white. Unfortunately I can't remember most of the details but I am pretty sure it was british.

Saw this back in the late 70's I believe. A sci-fi movie, and I remember it seeming a lot like a Star Wars ripoff. I think the main character had some sort of glowing sword. The only other thing I remember was that there was some sort of robot character, I think he didn't speak, and I believe his name was like "L" or "H" or something. There were definitely other planets and space ships. I've exhausted all avenues searching imdb, including going through every freakin' plot synopsis of all American sci-fi films between 1975 to 1979. Maybe I just skipped over it.

Back in the 60's I remember seeing a black and white movie on TV a few times on a local TV station in Minneapolis that could have been older, even the 40's or 50's. In the movie there was a woman living with her husband on an isolated island off the coast, perhaps new england. One of the characters remarks with respect to the huge electric towers that cross the island "even the electricity doesn't stop here". there are a group of hoods that harass this woman and one time one follows her to her house and to avoid him, she hides in a large dollhouse. He finds her and she confronts him by opening here blouse and bares her breasts and says "is this what you want?" He is so possessed wiht lust, he becomes incapacitated and she escapes. I also remember a confrontation on the beach at night where the hoods hang out by a fire as there is nothing more to do in this place.

I believe this movie was made in the 70's of a teenage girl that was poor and didn't have a family. There were young boys and when she died they gave her a funeral and no one came. A very sad movie I can remember. Seems like it was in a poor community, I want to say that it kind of reminds me of "Ode to Billy Joe" but that's not it.

I think that the movie was from the 90s or the 80s. It was about a young girl who had a dream that she and another little boy were in a hot air balloon that took them a castle where there was an evil that the people there couldn't get rid of. The people of the castle kept it stored away behind a locked door but someone had opened it and now it was taking over the castle and it was up to the girl and boy to defeat it. In the end the girl and the boy (they might have been brother and sister) got back into the hot air balloon and it took them back home.

looking for a film I saw when I was a little kid in the late 70s to early 80s - sneaked out to watch it. it was a horror film on TV and I remember the scenes where a boy, presumably dead, running after this woman, presumably, his mom, around a huge house on a rainy night. she was running all over the house trying to hide from this boy. for some reason, all the lights in the house are all out. and you can actually hear the boy's voice asking 'mommy.where's my mommy?' and the woman screams trying to get away. the movie ends with the boy catching up with her, after she falls from a flight of stairs with a shot of the boy, with the point of view of the woman, on top of her, and the boy looks little bit like a 'vampire' ala 'Salem's Lot'.

I saw this film about 5 years ago when flying back from America and those nice British Airways hostesses closed down the film near the end of the flight with about 20 minutes of the film still remaining!Plot Summary: the film takes place in an American college and at the end of the year they have a "quiz". The quiz master is the Vice Principal. He catches a student cheating and I think he escapes from being expelled because his Father is a major benefactor of the college. The Principal of the college retires, but the Vice Principal does not get the top job as expected and immediately resigns. Some years later the cheating student arranges a re-enactment of the quiz at his Father's palatial home and insists that the former Vice Principal be the quiz master again.

Result: Buddy Boy (1999) starring Aidan Gillen, Emmanuelle Seigner (the neighbor), Susan Tyrrell Thanx MystMoonstruck. Sep 2, 2008

I am looking for a film that I saw on TV recently: 2008, early part of the year. A repressed man lives with his mother and begins a relationship with a young and beautiful neighbour. He also spies on her through a number of holes he has drilled in his apartment wall and while watching her, thinks he sees her killing a male visitor to her apartment. He then sees, or believes he sees, her cooking the remains - one scene shows her boiling the victims head. He continues the affair, but also continues to watch her. In a later scene, he sees a number of visitors at her apartment, all apparently eating some of the remains. He rushes across to the apartment to confront them and open up a pot on the stove, expecting to find a head, only to find a squash being boiled, as the neighbour has told him she is a vegetarian. He retreats more and more into his shell and is more and more dominated by his mother. The film switches to this relationship and at one point, the mother is atttacked by her `boyfriend` and it transpires that the mother is in fact the father, dressed up as the mother and has been for many years after killing the mother. He/she murders the boyfriend, who is then kept in the bath for several weeks, prompting complaints from the neighbours. In the final scene, the repressed man goes across to the neighbours apartment to make it up with her, only to find that he was right all along, as he stumbles onto a rug, which moves and he looks down into what we presume is a pit with human remains - the film ends there.

I'm looking for a short that was aired on HBO or Showtime I believe when HBO did it's infamous "Short-Takes". It's basically a sound effects short that was a split screen, on one side of the screen the action was taking place and on the other side, it was the sound effects crew. Some of the scenes I remember was a guy running, they used shoes on a piece of wood, there was a fight and the sound effects were people in a meat factory punching meat on a hook.

Result: Shadowzone (1990) with Louise Fletcher. Thanx IMDB Boards, Midnight Creeper, Alli. Aug 26, 2008

This English-language movie was seen on TV at night in America in the late eighties/early nineties, possibly on the Sci-Fi Channel. Plot: A man arrives by helicopter to the entrance of an underground research lab in the desert. While investigating the lab, through a vent in a ceiling air duct, the man inadvertently witnesses a doctor gruesomely dissecting a corpse on a table with a bone saw. Later, when viewing an experiment in an operating room through an observation window, the experiment goes awry, and a doctor enters the operating room to determine the failure's cause. An evil, deformed monster/clown/nurse appears, giggling, and the doctor is then killed. The observation window's blast shield closes. Other characters are then killed: one man is walking in a corridor when a droplet of water drips from the piping above onto his head, and in the next scene all that remains of him are pieces of flesh splattered on the walls and hanging from the piping above where he stood. In another scene, a cook in the kitchen, while trying to catch a rat in the wall, places her hand in a hole in the wall, but is unable to remove her arm. A giant, larger than human rat bursts out of the wall. Finally, three people are left: the original man from the helicopter, a woman, and another man. The three make their way to the elevator to escape to the surface, but only the man from the helicopter and the woman successfully escape into the elevator. The elevator door closes before the other man can enter, he looks to his side, screams, and through the elevator door's window he is seen being pulled away, smearing the window with his blood-soaked hand.

i think it was a japanese film that was based on this pregnant couple inheriting his family mansion. then they find out that he was taken from there as a baby in hopes that he wouldn't carry on the family "traditions". His family would kill babies and think something like their souls would bring them good fortune in money or something like that. and when one of the older girls got "sick" they locked in a small room in the attic for the rest of her life. it was so small she couldn't even stand up in there, but they kept her alive(this was the man's mother). he tried to beat the baby in his wife's stomach to death to end the cycle then he murdered himself.

I saw this movie back in the 80's during those late Saturday night horror movie episodes. All I remember was that it was freakishly cool. One part that stands out was this woman? in this garage hiding under a vehicle and these black shadowy things in brown robes (all small mind you) surround the vehicle and the person grabs a hammer so that she or he can hit one of those things on the foot but in doing so it ends up turning into another person (a man). So she ends up hitting this mans toe and Those things just vanished all the while this injured man has no idea what she is hiding from and then another part is where they sometimes seem to be running away from these floating balls that are razor sharp? But im not entirely sure.

The movie I am looking for is from the mid-late 80s/early 90s. The movie itself has a boy who is in a cell in a woman's kitchen. The woman has the little boy as a prisoner and plans on cooking him. The woman looks normal (attractive, i guess) and it takes place in a decent kitchen(suburbs). It's nothing like he's in a dirty dungeon or anything. While the woman is preparing to cook him in a big oven (hansel and gretel type feel to it) the boy is telling her different ghost story, which is what the movie focuses on. At the end of the movie the boy finishes his ghost stories, escapes or something and pushes the woman in the oven. I thought the boy in it was one of the lawrence brothers (joey, matthew) but i looked up their filmographies and couldn't find it. The boy in the movie is around 8, light brown hair with a bowel hair cut. The woman has blonde hair and i have seen her (within the last few years)in a few lifetime movies.

I'm 18 years old and I remember watching a movie when I was about 8. I could only guess that it was made in the early 90s or late 80s. It involved a girl who was drowned in a bathtub and was buried in the backyard. In the end it is found out that either her father or someone she knew killed her. She had a necklace in which another girl may have found or been given to her. This girl I guess is haunted by her and she ends up going to a psych ward. It features a man escaped form an insane asylum wearing a gold mask with a deep downturned frown who drives around in a station wagon killing people. Before killing, he has flashes of other people who remind him of the people he's killing. At one point he runs over a baby in a carriage with his car, and saws a little kid in half with a chainsaw. I saw this movie on TV. I think it should be from late 80s to late 90s, but i cant be sure. I dont remember much about the movie plot, but it was about two pilots. And there was a woman, wife of one of them, i think. I have this two scenes stuck in my mind. One of them is when a small plane crashes in to a forest or something. It was brightly coloured, yellow or red maybe. With one of the pilots in it. And the wife (if she was really a wife?) watches it crash, from some sort of a building near the forest he crashed in. but the pilot stays alive and quite healthy. I think she asks the other pilot to help her talk her husband out of flying and thats how he becomes part of the story. But it may not be so. And the other scene is when both guys are standing on a landing strip waiting for a plane to land. And the wind of the landing plane blows them on the ground. I think they were both laughing afterwards. It was like some sort of macho thing between them.

He then drives away and the car is a lemon, he tries calling the private number of the hot sales girl and it ends up being the number of a greasy spoon restaurant called "chicken chicken" where periodically this call is made and the same young black guy with a paper wedge hat answers the phone and says "chicken chicken, may I help you?". he tries to get the car towed back to the dealership and the towtruck driver can't figure out how to hook up the car so they end up suspending it from the front end and it dangles hanging straight up and down.

I saw this movie sometime in the early to mid 80s. It was on TV and I do not know if it was ever in the theaters. It started with a family, mom, dad, and son going camping in an RV. When they got to the campsite on top of a cliff, the boy got out to explore while the parents parked the RV. While backing the RV up, the parents went over the cliff and died. This was deep mountain country and there was no way the kid was getting out alone. There was a mountain man/hermit that roamed the these woods and heard the crash. When he got there, he found the boy. He did not want anything to do with the kid so just walked off. The kid basically ended up following him to survive. He would try to chase him off, but the kid would quit. It gets fuzzy here in my memory about the rest of the movie, but I assume they eventually create a bond and stay together. I was born in 1984 so I must have seen the movie around the age of 10 or 11. It was a horror/thriller/action (all in one) it's mainly horror I thought. It may have been made in the late 70's and perhaps it was more so made in the 80's I would think. I barely remember too much, it's very vague in some ways, but I have a couple of clear scenes I can picture in my head right now.Okay so from what I remember.the film had a dirty blonde (young) woman in it or maybe one can say her hair was just blonde. She was not playboy like at all, she was more of a 20 or 22 yr old girl next door quiet type who dressed like a normal high school gal. Though not as blonde as the little girl in Poltergiest. And then there was also a guy in the movie who I think ended up liking her or became her boyfriend (Not sure). Some parts of this movie was just set in town, and in a neighborhood. I remember one scene the blonde girl I'm talking about does not get along with her father (I think that's who it was) and there' a scene where they fight in the basement or a garage, and I think the blonde daughter broke her father's finger or did something bad to him in the basement, maybe because he disagreed with her or she didn't do what she was told, and so after that incident she then RAN off. I think sometime during the next scene while she's running off she get's chased by cops in the neighborhood. She then ends up jumping over some cop cars like she was strong- Like she jumped on top of the cop car and RAN I think she then, stopped looked at something and ran again. For that part- she did something a human could not do. I also remember I think the ending the most it showed that guy I was talking about in the beginning of this paragraph that liked her or something. I think he found out that she died and went some place to visit her body. All I know is he ended up in some room with her, and she was quite alive. I'm not quite sure about this but in the end scene I think he accidentally or maybe purposely ripped her entire face off and underneath this blonde girl's human face was actually something that looks like a machine or a robot/cyborg. And she attacked him and boom the screen goes black. (The end). I'm still debating in my head if the guy was the one that ripped her face off or was it her that came back alive and showed him her real face THEN attacked him. But it's close to all that. Lastly-- I could have swore that during some parts of this movie that guy kept calling this blonde woman "MEE MEE" or something of that sound.

I watched a movie with my mother about four or five years ago. It was a movie about twins, a boy and a girl. The boy died when he was five, and his ghost came back. The little girl was playing with her brother, and her mother became worried about her daughter. The little boy kept asking his sister and his mother to come join him. At the end of the movie, the mother decided that she and her daugher would join the little boy. She drove out into the forest, where the little boy was waiting. When she pulled up, the little boy was sitting on a stump, waiting on his mother and sister to die. The mother was going to kill herself and her daughter by breathing in exhaust fumes, but changed her mind. She got out of the car to tell her sons ghost that she and his sister could not join him. She got back in her car, and drove away, while the little boy remained on the stump.

The movie is about a neighborhood and a creepy house and a strange family that lives inside. The neighbors try to break in as a prank I believe to see if the family does live there and who lives inside. Someone might be in the basement and I think they had something buried in the backyard at the end? But the movie was basically shot all on just this one residental street with a lot of conversing amongst the neighbors. I think it was the next door neighbor that ended up going in but his wife stayed in the house but the family kept trying to catch him in the house. I remember a scene where a guy in the family who lives in the house walks outside the house to the road near the trash cans. And I think the neighbors used binoculars to spy on the house and a lot of the scenes were at night? I don't really remember how it ended but I think the neighbor who went in the house disapeared but not sure if he lived or died.

The premise of the movie was to young boys, one about 6 the other about 12 who find a baby on the shore and keep it in a cave because they don't want their parent's to find out. The older kid's name was Harry. There was a line when the older one says "whose baby (babi) is this anyway's". The younger one responds "it's your baby (babi) Harry." This became a joke between me and my girlfriend at the time. We still talk from time to time. She brought the movie up the other day, but neither one of us know the name of it. This was a film I saw in the late 1960s, I think (perhaps early 70s) on tv. It's a period piece -- takes place in the 1800s. It's a British drama. I'm a little unclear about the beginning, but pirates stop a British ship that's sailing somewhere, and kill (I think) everyone on board but a young sister and brother. The pirate captain decides to allow the children to live and takes them on board his ship. Initially, the captain is quite brusque and violent, but over time (months?, years?) he and the children - particularly the girl - develop a caring relationship. The girl begins to enjoy herself and shed her uptight (British) nature and become more "wild". At the end, the pirate ship is captured by the British navy, the pirate captain is going to be hanged, and the young girl is very conflicted because she doesn't know whether to denounce him for murdering her parents or defend him because she's come to love him. She also knows that, as she returns to "civilized" society, she'll miss the sea, the adventure, and the camaraderie of her shipmates. I think the story may have been told in flashback -- with the older version of the young girl narrating.

In one scene, she stands before him in a sheer white nightgown (possibly her mother's) and asks him to take her to bed. Later he takes her on ski trip where she is bored and just wants to stay in bed with him. There's another scene where she comes home from school and disrobes in the house. It was an animated movie I saw on the sci-fi channel when I was a kid. It was about little gnomes that looked like flesh-colored smurfs. They had snub noses and green Zelda-looking outfits with green pointed hats. The planet sort of reminds me of how the Jettsons were, without the sky-high houses. It was covered in junk, the background was always dark and waterpainted. Anyways, they are at war with a bunch of freaky looking trolls and monsters of all sorts of variety. In the first part of the movie, the small gnomes kick ass and take names. Then, the troll leader does a very odd thing, shows his monsterous army a film with nazi's assembling and marching in formation, killing and bombing. He does this with a projector he finds in the wasteland I guess, beaming it into the dark sky above the murderous crowd. As soon as the army sets eyes on the projection, they start fighting and killing eachother in an induced savage rage. After that, with the film as motivation, they start owning the little gnomes. It was a really wierd movie, ambient music (like pink floyd) was always playing in the background. Dark scenery, and hippy-like voices for the animated characters.

The movie I need assistance with is a horror movie with a haunted house and a female demon. I saw it on the showtime network in the late nineties. It is in color. I believe it is from the late eighties early nineties. I remember a few key scenes: 1. The pretty girl is looking at her self (topless of course, its a horror movie!) in the mirror and the female demon/monster pops up (down) from the outside of the window hanging upside down. 2. The pretty girl is alone with a man and she is slowly moving down his lower extremities (trying to put this nicely) and starts to preform oral sex on him and then bites his member. When she looks up her face is a demons face.3. An extremely vain women finds a mink or some type of fur coat that still has the mammalian animal's head still attached around the neck. She puts it on, and the animals attack her neck. She finds the coat in the basement.I also remember either two or just one man being thrown out the window/ off of the roof and impaled on some iron work. This sounds like the night of the demons series but I have searched the plots of the three movies and none of these scenes are present.

I've had an ending film stuck in my head for years but have no idea what it is from. I watched it on TV in the UK in the late 80's, early 90's. It was American, in colour, probably made in the 80's, although possible it was 70's. A man (the actor is middle aged, tall, brown hair, slim build) has been missing from his home town for some years, when he returns, he finds his home and the land surrounding it has been turned into an amusement park, with swimming pools and water slides. He is deshevelled, wearing a dirty white shirt and trousers. He becomes distraut when an attendant will not let him enter the park through the turnstile, possibly because of his appearance or because he has no money. He starts to shout at the young attendant, shouting "This is my house, let me in" He starts to grab the turnstile and shake it in an attempt to jump over it. People around him, mostly parents and kids (wearing trunks, swimsuits- queuing to go swimming). Look at him as if he is mad. Then an older fat man in trunks recognizes the main character, and says its been many years since he last saw him "But you look just the same",he tells him to calm down and pays the entrance fee for him. There is an emphasis that the man must have been wealthy at some point. But now he looks upon him with pity and indicates to the attendant that he is nuts. The man races through the entrance, pushing through more queues of people: angry parents yell at him. Two more attendants in white t-shirts and shorts follow him. He runs through some wooded area away from the noise, all the time mumbling to himself. He is making his way up a hill. He passes a disused tennis court, he knows as his own. it is full of leaves. He comes to a white wooden house. It is abandoned, broken windows, cracking paint, etc. But he races in through some porch doors. He runs through the empty house from room to room calling for his wife and kids."I'm home" "I'm back" "Where are you?" There is silence.Everything is empty and still, except for the gray net curtains billowing in the windows. He notices a cardboard box, and opens it to find framed photos of his family. He cries out and falls to his knees. I'm not sure if the pictures signify that his family have given up hope of him coming back, if they are dead and that more time has elapsed than he realizes (it is possible he has remained the same age as when he left). There is a great sense of despair. This is where the film ends. Leaving the man on his own in the room, it pans out back down the hill, kids laughing and splashing about. This snippet has haunted me for years, its not particularly scary, but the sense of loss and fear is quite overwhelming.I've remembered it for so long i begin to wonder if it is a film or if i dreamed it. It will be reassuring if someone else has seen it. :)

There was some smoke thing and moaning going on downstairs in the basement in the stove. One part I remember vividly was the scene where a young girl turned on a boombox and the music was hypnotic and somewhat demonic and it possesses the girl to dance acertain way implying a demon or imp.

I really don't remember it much sry. But I saw this movie around in the 90s. It was about a creature that grap it's victims into its wings entirely and kinda deteriorate their bodies in them with acid or something. (sounds like Beastmaster - me)

I wanna know what the name of that horror flick was.One helpful clue: this movie had to have been made sometime before 1979. And it was in color.

I saw this horror film in the late 1980's/ early 1990's. It was a colour American film about a family who move into a surburban house, in which the mother starts to have visions in rooms in the house of murders. They appear to be happening in front of her. She thinks they're ghosts; sees the killer attacking children and adults. I seem to remember a boy riding around on a bike in the front garden. The family decide to move house. On the day they move out a new family move in. The final shot is a boy riding around on a bike on the front lawn, and someone getting out of a car and walking towards the house. The twist is that the man is the killer and the mother has been seeing the murders of the new family as visions of the future, not the past. I think the killer has escaped from an asylum but can't be completely sure.

This is a horror movie I saw at a drive-in as a child. It had to have been between 1977-79. I dont remember much but this guy would kidnap women some how and chain them up naked in his basement (or somewhere) and he would burn them alive. I think he wore a fire suit (?) when he did it and maybe used a torch of some sort. I also think that the torch of flame device, along with his suit may have had something to do with his profession, but I dont really remember.

The film im looking for is about demons. All i remember is there was a hole in the back of a families house, i only remember there was a group of teens and demons would come out of the whole (they were like 2 ft tall and all looked a like). I believe there was a teenage brother who was a rocker and the kids took one of his heavy metal records and when they played in backwards the demons would either come out or go back in the hole. I just remember the record played a part in the movie. This was similar to gremlins.

Result: Hell High (1989) Four male students break into a teacher's home and assault her. She goes crazy and kills them all in gruesome ways. Thanx Suzette. Sep 5, 2008

i believe was in the mid to late 80's. It is about a female killer. I believe that she was attractive and had dark hair. I remember she was in a house and she would kill teens. I remember one scene she locked a teen in the basement. Another scene i remember is that someone (can't remember who) found bloody hair in her bathroom, i think they were pulling it from the tub, like she hid the body under the bathtub or something.
