I saw this film in the 70's on the Saturday night horror movie show( so it was probably a film from the late 40's thru 50's. It's in black and white. A newlywed couple comes to the family mansion. At night the bedroom doors are locked so the wife cannot get out of her bedroom. At night she hears dragging sounds or slurping like soounds from the hallway. There is a curse on the family. Her husband has transformed into something like a giant frog and he roams or is dragged through the halls at night. I beleieve there is also a hedge maze on the grounds that while she is wandering through it she sees just a glimpse of her husband as what he has become at one point.

I remember watching this colour British haunted mansion movie with my older brother on television, which makes it before 1992 (as alas, he died that year) but at our 2nd house which makes it after 1989 that I saw it.I think it was set in the past. There were a group of friends, all male, I think there was 3 of them. They were staying in a run-down mansion. A lot of the shots of the mansion were in bright summer twilight sunshine, making a very eerie effect that I've not really seen before or since.I remember a few key, slightly weird points:1.They found some old black & white victorian pornography2.I seem to recall them all sitting on toilets in the same room3.One of them seemed quite mocking & camp4.One of them was slightly bumbling and wore glasses, often the butt of the jokes5.I think one of the forms the haunting took was loud banging. Someone had been drowned in a bath tub and the sound of his hands banging against the tub was what they kept hearing [these, point 5, might be from another film, it was some time ago]I do help you can help, as I remember it being a very unusual, unique film.

1980s colour film about an affluent family living in California. The father, a lawyer buys a sheep farm in Australia. The mother along with the ranch manager raise sheep and have a big shearing. There is also a drought happening and one of the girls takes a chunk of clay and rolls it down a riverbed in hopes it rains. She is caught in a flashflood and the mother? saves her.

I'm trying to find a film that I believe was a made for TV movie. I think that it was released in the mid 1990's. it was about a U.S. Caucasian family(mom, dad and 2 or 3 teens/young adults) that are chased by an evil spirit in the Southwest U.S. desert. I thought that Kurt Russel is the dad and/or that one of the family members is from the ("Growing Pains" sitcom). However, I've researched Russell , Tracy Gold, Joanna Kerns,Alan Thicke and Kirk Cameron movies, and I can't find the movie. The movie is in color. I believe the family car is a SUV that's possibly red. There is one part in the movie when one of the teens is trapped in a mineshaft or well because of the evil spirt. The local townspeople and law enforcement are crooked. The setting is almost like a ghost town. I believe that the family barely escapes at the end of the movie with the evil spirt chasing their SUV. The evil spirt almost looks like wind or a black cloud.

Several weeks pass and father becomes depressed, can't meet anyone. Father expresses sexual frustration to son and after speaking to his wife, they agree father can have sex with wife when son is not around. Develops into the situation when as soon as son gets up, father takes his place in bed next to the young wife. The kid passes out while the girl says she loves him. The next scene is the end scene where he sees the girl and he's like hey let's date and she says it would never work out, and he comes back with the well you said you loved me. This is a 90's movie where a new "alien" family move into a new town. They look normal most of the time but can turn into praying mantis looking creatures. It seemed like it was a scary comedy somehow. I remember the daughter was smokin hot so all the teen boys were after her and one guy was trying to get some on a trampoline I think but she didn't want to so she turned into the creature and next it showed that she had spun him up in a cocoon type thing and put him in her closet. Eventually she ends up with multiple bodies in her closet and her parents find out about it and tell her that was very bad. Some people begin to become suspicious of the family because they are strange.

To this day, I cannot handle being pushed under water and I get chills thinking about that scene. It is possible that the child's friend or older brother got the bullies to let him go. I cannot remember if they killed him or not. I just know it made a very negative impact on me as a child.

And if I remember correctly earlier in the movie one of the usa guys kills one of the chinese guys brother accidentally in a match and that's why the final is really tense. then in the final china wins but decides to give the win and the honor to the usa guys and everybody is friends again.or something like that. I recently rented this dvd from the library, and when I got home and put it on, it was a foreign film with subtitles. Anyway, in the beginning a woman and her teenage daughter were driving along a country road when their vehicle broke down. The mom got out to look under the hood and just disappeared. The teenage daughter rolled up all the windows scared, trying to call for help (she couldn't see what happened to her mom because the hood was up,) then something/one ends up killing her in the the car/truck. I fell asleep during the movie but when I woke up, there was a couple- man and woman) running from some masked persons. The man was hurt, but the woman managed to climb out of the attic window, run through the woods and eventually these masked people caught her and took her underground through some kind of unused sewer system. It turned out to be a group of masked teenagers. The woman broke free, with the help of her boyfriend who (although wounded in the leg) had followed the masked teens when they took his girlfriend. The woman was began running to some light that she saw at the end of the tunnel only to finally reach it and it was an exit from the sewer, but it blocked by metal bars. The sewer exit was along a stretch of highway, where no one could see her sticking her arm out trying to flag down help. In the final scene you see a school bus stopping at the outskirts of of a wooded area and three teens run from the woods and get on the school bus. The credits said that it was based on true events and noted that when the teens were caught and charged with murder, they said they killed the couple because they would not 'play' with them. All they wanted to do was 'play'. The teens supposedly ranged in age from 10-17 yrs. It reminds me of this new film trailer for "The Strangers". It was a foreign film, probably less than 10 yrs old.

One death is an electic gate crushes a car with a woman inside of it. Another death is the shower door locks and a woman inside the shower either drowns or is burned by the hot water. Another partial death is someone swims in a pool and the top freezes over preventing them from coming up for air. I think it ends with the house burning down and the couple escaping.

This movie was on Television in the late 70's or very early 80's. There was a family that moved into a neighborhood and everyone in the neighborhood kept encouraging the family to join this health club. To become a member, you had to go into this room- and as the TV movie progressed, we find out that the room has a door to hell, and your soul gets seperated from your body. In hell is the neighborhood just as it is on earth, but the people don't realize they are in hell, they just think they are in the neighborhood. The fater of the family is either a NASA scientist -or- former Astronaut, who finds his wife and kids have "changed" a little and then finds out that they joined this health club.after investigating it, he finds out about the "Hell" aspect to the club, goes and takes some space suit from NASA that is an expiremental suit, manages to go to hell without loosing his soul, gets his family, gets their bodies to come to the club, get their soul's back into their bodies and I believe he ends up burning down the health club.

I remember seeing this film within the past five years. It was in color and looked like it was from after 1990. I missed the beginning, but I started watching when a family was out for a trip somewhere. They went on a detour and got lost. They're being followed by a black hearse-like car, which I don't think they see the driver of. The family (mother, father, son, daughter -- both teens) is picked off one-by-one by this car. The mother is accidentally shot through the back of the head and goes insane. The brother is taken by the car and they see it drive off with him in the trunk, screaming. They later find his charred body (which we never see) in the street with a cell phone at his ear, and the father and daughter are arguing over who has to get the phone (which has the ear attached). I don't remember the fate of the father, but at one point, he writes a list of things to do before he dies. In the end, there's some road workers cleaning up after a car crash (I think the movie was played out like a dream, where the family actually crashes instead of all of this happening), and one of the workers finds the list and throws it out. The girl wakes up at the hospital, and the camera follows her nurse out of the building, where she meets up with a man driving the same car as was chasing the family.

I have nearly no memory of this very B movie - but it was something like this: there was a monster, there was a boy wearing some spiked bracelet; the monster was at the boy's house for some reason. It would take control of the boy's parents and grandparents, methinks, and I remember a very ugh scene where the boy's parents and grandparents where together at the bed, already possessed by the monster, trying to trick the kid into joining them. I don't remember the reason why the monster wouldn't kill the boy, but it wouldn't - until the end. Once the monster noticed the boy's bracelet, it remembered of the race of aliens / monsters / whatever that had imprisioned / mistreated the monster in the past, and which used to wear similar bracelets of that of the boy. I recall the monster then killed him. I also vaguely remember there was a reporter involved.

The movie I seek is in color and it's either from the late 80s or very early 90s (1990, 1991 or 1992). It revolves around a demonic/satanic or vampiric female character. The movie starts with a couple moving into a house and the wife or husband finding something in the garden (a figurine of some sort) which they bring into the house. The demonic woman is drawn to this thing and comes into their house. The wife experiences a phantasmal moment in which she witnesses the scene of Christ on the cross being attacked by a giant snake while women dressed in white robes start to scream and run. I also remember a scene when a male backpacker shows up at the demonic woman's mansion one night seeking shelter and she seduces him in the pool and kills him or sucks his blood. I'm pretty sure the movie is set in north America and the actress playing the demonic woman is very attractive.

There was a cave and I think the boy wanted to go into it. I think there was a howling in the cave. The details get blurry but I think the boys dad went into cave and came up very shaken. The boy's dad may have been a law officer. The second story consisted of some kind of ghost hotel that I think appeared every so often.

All I know about this movie is that it's about a woman who just got married to a nice man, and they live in this big house. She gets this doll, from a lady on a bus or something, and she keeps it for some reason. Then when she has her own baby, the doll keeps on popping up everywhere. They hier a nanny for when they're gone, and the nanny does some kind of voodoo with hair and something of the baby's. Slowly the mother kind of goes crazy. There's also this part about her dog dying, and her burying it. Anyways, all sorts of insane things happen, like the mom sees that there's a cockroach in the babys crib through a video moniter. She rushes to the room, and theres roaches everywhere, so she starts shaking the baby. But there isn't really anything there, so she almost gets busted for baby abuse. Finally, the mom gets freaked out over the doll, and picks it up in the middle of the night. She grabs a shovel and buries it out in the yard. The next morning her husband goes into the baby's room and instead of the baby being there, its just the doll in the crib. Then the mom has completely forgotten they even had a baby because she accedentally had fallen into some sort of voodoo spell from the nanny. I saw this in about 2006/07, it's in color, and i'm not sure who any of the actors/actresses are but i think the mom is blonde.

Horror Slasher type film, think it is European, but I saw it on late night American television. Basically, the movie has a crazed "older" woman and her terribly powerful son. She keeps the son locked in a room and she kidnaps women to give to him.One woman (blonde) manages to escape with the help of some guy. She helps another woman escape (brunette). The guy unknowingly releases the son. The son kills the brunette and the blonde and guy are recaptured.I may have the facts wrong, but the movie for sure had ended with the Mom and the Son "winning" since the movie ended with the blonde tied up and in the ladies kitchen at the end of the movie. It was kindof of over the top and looked like an older movie, but it was in color.

It was aired on SBS TV probably about 2-3 yrs ago in Perth WA (aust.) so that's what 2003-2007. It's a foreign film possibly, european. I can't remember too much but I know the main character was male and I'm pretty sure he was at high school or college and at some point he dies, possibly gets shot. But he doesn't realise that he's died and they don't let on until towards the end. No i'm pretty sure he falls in love with this girl, he's from the wealthier end of town and shes in the slums and is from a different background which his family/hers would frown on them getting together. I'm pretty sure it's set in the 90's though so don't know if that helps.

This is an old horror film from about the late 70s early 80s, never seen in on TV or in theaters so it was possibly a right-to-video release. There's a family- married couple, with at least one son- that move into/inherit a farmhouse/ranch. There's an old native american man who befriends the boy. The horor part of the film comes from a monster/spirit that lives under/around the house and follows the usual 'monster picking off the characters one by one' troupe. There is a scene where a man carrying a gun is being pulled into the celler/basement's outside door by the monster, he drops the gun and digs his fingers into the ground and tries to claw his way free but gets dragged in anyway, leaving his fingers in the ground.

This movie was made in the 80's or early 90's (color), it was shown on regular (not a horror movie), I am pretty sure it is based on a true story about a young girl with a lung or blood condition and she coughs up blood sometimes when she eats her parents have to hit her on her back cause she chokes. At the end of the movie she asks her parents when she dies which way should she go "left or right". The girl also asks her dad to go to the store to get her a root beer at the end of the movie before she passes away. Any information will be great.

Foreign Horror Film (I think) I saw it on late night cable in Texas in late 2007 (around Halloween maybe?). Towards the end it involves an older crazed woman with a knife, axe, saw chasing a Blonde and a Brunette into an elevator with a cage-type door.Meanwhile, a Man, is trying to rescue the women. He inadvertently releases some man who he thinks is another victim of the old lady. The man is actually a crazed killer that the woman was keeping chained up. I don't know why, maybe he was her son or something and she was kidnapping women for her son.The end is tragic. I think it ends with the Blonde tied up to a chair in the kitchen. I think the woman may have amputated the Blonde's legs to prevent future escape attempts.

I saw this film at a movie theater in 1978 or 1979. I don't remember very much, except that it's very very sad. It was in color, and was probably an American film, but I don't know for sure. I remember it was about a couple having problems and wanting to get a divorce. They have two children, a boy and a girl, both very young (under 10 years of age). The kids wanted their parents to stay together, and so the couple decided to try to work out their differences. to no avail. Finally, the couple decided to go through with the separation, and announced their decision to the kids. Needless to say, the kids were devastated. The night before the final split up, the two kids decided to run away to their grandma's. They left in the middle of the night. It was raining very hard., and for some reason they stopped in the middle of the trip (I think they were too weak, or too sick to continue). The brother (the elder of the two) could not go on anymore. He told his sister to go ahead without him., and they said their good-byes right there. I remember the last scene of the film was the morning after, there's this big tree with red leaves all over it, and the boy was found under the tree, dead.

I'm looking for two short films that I believe aired on HBO Short Take in the late eighties. The first was an animated short about a dentist. The whole film focused on a mouth that he was working on while casually chatting with the poor chap, whose teeth he even went as far as to use dynamite on. And the whole thing ended with the dentist getting his finger bitten off. The second and even more fascinating film was an animated short about a littered coke bottle, carelessly discarded on the surface of a barren planet by some hapless space traveler, which inadvertently sparked the course of evolution.

This movie (or it could have been an episode of a series like Twilight Zone or Night Gallery) involves a man who has to rescue a child from being ran over by a firetruck. The interesting twist is that time has stopped just as the firetruck is pulling out of the firehouse and the child is just about to pull in front of it. The man is the only person/thing still functioning during the time stoppage. I'm not sure how, but the man knows that time will start again and he has to figure out a way to stop the truck or child so the child is not killed. I think he ends up doing something with the firehose to prevent the accident from happening.

I must have seen it about 10 years ago or so when the movie Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken was pretty popular. My mom took me to the movie rental store and asked about that one and the vendor offered her this mysterious movie. What I remember about it was a young girl for one reason or another is sent to live with an old man and his wife on their farm. She ends up trying to seduce him. I don't remember it all but I do remember that there was one scene where she exposed herself to him in the barn. He left and went back to his house, and made a second thought and ran back to the barn to be with her. Then later on there was a scene where she arrived fully nude riding a horse. He freaked out that people might see. I have no idea what it was. It did have one scene where it showed the old man and his older wife fully frontal nude but it was not a porn. There was a bit of nudity in it but it was all pretty tasteful.

The movie's title as I remember it was called "The Stalker". I saw it many many years ago (while still young) and remember feeling that I couldn't understand it completely and would like to figure out what it was. A lot of the movies that title are not the one that I am looking for. It was probably a B-grade movie or madr for video. The plot: it opened with a stalker type fellow spying on a girl in a window, undressing or something. I think credits roll by at that time. Then supposedly he kidnaps the girl (probably in he own house / I am really hazy with the details). There was an extended rape, or sex scene between the two (certainly the girl was tied to a bed for a long, long time). But also a lot of conversation and I think in some senses that was what it was about as to what develops between these two characters. That's pretty much all I can remember, and I was pretty disturbed then and didn't follow up and watch it till the end.

I saw this film in the early 90's(*91-93), on HBO, Showtime or one of the cable channels. Its a sci-fi/horror film about a blue worm/alien that lives inside the hosts body, but comes out the mouth or back of the neck to converse with the host guy. The alien would inject a drug into this guys brain that would make him kill or go crazy? and the alien worm would come out and eat the victims brains?! Then when the host is making out with his girlfriend the alien travels through the mouth and kills the girl. The host gets so upset he reaches back and squeezes the alien worm(*I guess hanging out the back of his neck and the alien/worm injects a overdose of the drug, to where the host takes a gun and shoots himself in the head to finally end the pain. there was lots of light coming out of the hosts head after the gunshot, and he was not dead, because the drug kept him alive.

It was an old black and white film, most likely I guess from the 50's. I guess it was a cheap, not very famous one, because I've never seen it or heard of it again. I saw it on TV as a child, so this would have been in the 70's, most likely on that program "Shock Theater". Unfortunately, All I can remember is one scene. The heroes of the film are regrouping from something in the kitchen of some house. I want to say that they were on an island, but I can't be sure of that. There is an old woman there, whose house it is. I somehow remember that her character's name was Cora, or something like that, though I guess she was a minor character. Anyway, she said that she would go outside and get some water from the well. The male and female lead begged her not to go out. I remember Cora ignoring their worries and she went out anyway. And, while out there she is killed from what I remember to be some kind of invisible creature, that I want to say they were man-sized bird creatures. I don't know why I know that, if they were invisible. I was a kid then, so can't be sure if I remember everything correctly, but I just remember it scaring me so much. I have all my adult life wondered about that film and would very much like to know what it was.

I don't recall the exact plot of the movie. It was a late 1950's early 1960's vintage with a hero character rescuing someone from some bad guy / monster / alien. The particular recallection I have is that the evil ones resided an underwater lair accessible only through an underwater cave opening. The hero made a couple of back and forth trip underwater astride a pedal-powered torpedo of sorts. The device had two contra-rotating coaxial propeller blades at the rear, two handgrip pegs sticking out the sides at the front end and a pair of pedals just aft of center. It was a long tubular body as big around as a beer can and about 7 ft long. The hero lay somewhat prone atop it, grasping the handgrips and pedalling it with his feet. I hope to discover its manufacturer. Thanks.

I saw a film in a theater in the late 1960's; can't remember if it was color or black and white; the plot included something about a young boy who falls from a tree, dies and goes to heaven; in heaven people are bringing gifts to God, but this boy has no gift; he remembers back on earth his most treasured possession is some kind of box that holds all his favorite collectibles (just junk, really, but important stuff to the boy), and I think he persuades an angel (or someone) to let him go back to earth and get it for his gift; I think I remember him coming back to earth at the tree where he fell and died, and then somehow retrieving the box and going back to heaven; eventually he presents this rag-tag box of seemingly worthless items as his gift to God--which God receives with great joy.

He was a doctor or a scientist of some sort, who's wife had died leaving him with their 2 small daughters to take care of. But he is completely devastated by his wifes death. And then 1 day one of the little girls finds up high in a tree on the estate they live on, where if you eat a flower or a small leaf, time seemed to slow down and you could see what she described as "faries". But for the Doctor, he saw his departed wife and became obsessed.

(NOTE more info - a great challenge) I saw a black and white film in 1984-6. The film was probably made in the 40's, 50's or 60's. It was a WWII movie about a plane that crashed in the desert and the crew where killed in the crash but did not know they were dead. The movie is NOT SOLE SURVIVOR OR A TWILIGHT ZONE EPISODE. The crew plays baseball during the day. When they are finally discovered/rescued they disappear one by one, it is only then that the audience knows that they are dead and this is towards the end of the film. They are not wrapped in a flag nor have a violent reaction to being discovered. I think I remember that there was some kind of barrier around the crash site that the crew/ghosts could not go through.
There seems to be two movies that sound very similar, being Sole Survivor and the other one that I am looking for, but they are vastly different movies.
The movie I remember does not have a plot of deception such as Sole Survivor (the Navigator and the investigator played by William Shatner). It has a nice feel to it, and you get to know the characters. It seems they are locked in time as every time they try and leave the area there is an electric type barrier that keeps them in. At this time you are thinking they are part of an experiment or some kind of evil weapon. These guys also play baseball every day. It is only towards the end of the movie when a rescue helicopter comes and they crew runs towards it. The 'rescuers' walk through the crew and you (and the crew) realise that the crew is dead. The crew disappear one by one as their dog tags (or remains, I can't remember) are found. It is a gentle disappearance, they just seem to fade, not at all like Sole Survivors violent disappearance. At the very end, you think that one of the crew will be left forever but at the last minute he is also found. I really appreciate you looking into this further, it has been driving me crazy for years. It is a great movie and I would like to see it again. There has been a blog going on for some time at http://www.guardian.co.uk/notesandqueries/query/0,5753,-20660,00.html The battle between Sole Survivor and the other movie is evident there as well.

He grows up with the tribe to become a normal indian and gets a wife by some river. The boy's tribe is at war with another tripe. The war is fought with arrows and spears, until some white men sells the other tripe guns. The boy's tripe is almost wiped out, but the boy's father, who has finally found his son in the jungle, saves the son by shooting the men with guns from the other tripe. The film ends with that the boy, as the only surviving man from the tripe, is talking to the women from the tripe.

I remember someone walking through a house that was filled with life sized dolls or perhaps very creepy looking mannequins. One inparticular was an old lady mannequin/doll in a rocking chair. You think that they are all dolls, but then the rocking chair starts to move. I think that is how it goes. Takes the death hard, goes to his cloest to touch his clothes, puts on his jackets, has visions of him. She's bullied at school. One scene has her walking into the classroom and all the students are chanting "you stink, you stink". The main character is a bit plain looking, long brown hair. It's a chinese film, modern, but I can't remember what it's called. I think it might have jet li in it, it might not.The main scene I remember is a fight in a chinese bar/restaurant where a big guy has a sword with rings in the sword he's using. They run along the spine of it, for want of a better phrase.I think that the main character's running a gang or something and they think they can do what they like. But one of them gets their ass kicked so the main character has to go and defend their honour, even though he thinks they all have no honour.or something like that.

Saw this movie when I was a kid, late 80's/early 90's. All I can remember is a scene at the end where two kids are running away from a guy and find a huge crystal (or diamond) in a cave. The cave is located on a beach. I remember them coming out of the cave at night. I thought that it was called something similar to "Crystal Cave" but I can't find anything with that title. Not much to go on.

I'm looking for a movie about a mother and her 3 children (I think) and they are on there own.One of the main songs in the movie is "Take me Home Country Road"I think it's from the 80's.Now that I'm thinking about it, it may be Sissy Spacik who plays the mom but maybe not.I remember one scene where they're in a parking garage n another where they're on a really winding road and another part where they're sitting together on a sofa but that's about it!
