I saw this movie in color in the theaters. It was in the late '70s or maybe as late as the first half of 1980. It seems similar to the storyline of "I alone survived" but the reason I think it's different is that I'm sure I saw it in the theaters and I think the plane crashed in the desert and that the main character is a boy. I remember them draining fuel from the wings of the plane to keep a fire going, but either the pilot eventually dies or the boy knows their only hope for survival is to get help. One scene I remember is that the boy (who seemed to be quite a survivalist) was able to find water in a dried up riverbed by digging a hole. Oh, and I think I remember the boy taking a mirror with him to use as a signal. The boy was really smart, and it seems like he eventually made it to safety, but I can't remember the details or whether the pilot was alive at the end of the movie.Oh, and i seem to remember a scene at one point where he finds out that he was going around in circles.

I saw a movie in the 70's that was a revenge/castration type movie and it has haunted me for years. The girl doped up the man and tied him to the bed. She hung a wire to the ceiling and when he woke up she told him he would not be castrated by the wire if he did not get an errection. She teased him by dancing and getting nude until he could not stand it and got hard. When he got hard the wire tore his privates off. It was a revenge movie, I think. Like "I spit on your grave."

First off I believe I would have seen this between 1992 and 1998 (rough guess) as a movie playing on TV. The only scene I can vividly remember is (possibly flashback or movie beginning) where a young girl and her sister get taken out for ice cream one night with their father. There is some bad weather I believe and the two girls begin fighting in the back seat when a teddy bear (or other stuffed animal) hits the rear view mirror in the car which somehow makes the dad driving swerve the car off the road, semi-flipping through some tree branches, and land in the water. As the car sinks the main young girl is able to swim out of the window as her sister and father drown. Then besides that I believe the movie might have some future technology/computer theme, and lastly another image of her being on a building roof at night doing who knows what.

Finding a tight group of teens there that she hangs with, the apparent leader of this teen group(?), a boy that is dating another female group member takes a ring that he has given to her and gives it to the new girl in town. during the 80s i belive on the old HBO or WHT there were a series of short horror films two in particular one where a guy is driving in a car during a rain storm and sees a old woman hitchhiker he picks her up and they flash close ups of her she has creepy manlike features they close up on her bag which is filled with knives the guy stops at a red light and the view is from outside and above the car and you see the door open and the woman leaves the car. the light turns green and the car just sits there . the second one was a maid answers the phone and the man on the other end asks where his wife is when the maid stammers an answer he say shes with another man. the man then tells the maid who i believe the man threatens to get the gun from his desk and shoot both the wife and lover and get rid of the gun and he will wait on the line to make sure it was done. she kills the wife and lover and throws the gun in a pond in the back yard when she gets back on the phone and tells her boss he is flabbergasted telling the maid there is no pond in his yard and says sorry i must have the wrong number and hangs up

I think it may have been a UK production. It was a Horror film. I remember a couple who were either newly married or were going to get married. There was a man who I think was the Devil that was trying to get them to the dark side. I remember the couple trying to escape the mansion out in the country by driving away in a car but the road they were taking kept on leading them back to the house. They couldn't get away no matter how far they drove. I also remember a scene in the city where a man was either in a Hotel room or an apartment and he was naked wearing a top hat and was then hung upside down by the man who was the devil or by someone else. I cannot remember if the man being hung upside down was being hung outside the window or within the room. I think he was being hung outside. I remember the top hat.

The one detail we both remember vividly is a hand gesture the "evil" characters made over and over, wherein they interlaced their fingers, keeping both index fingers up, and put the index fingers against their mouths before saying some word--marvelous, fantastic, something--also, there was something going on in the basement, a scary staircase, and the "evil" characters maybe were a maid and a butler.

I'm looking for an 80's US sci fi flick that I saw as a kid in a cinema in kings cross London - around the mid 80's.It was low'ish budget, set on a desert planet in the future. The lead character is a man, some kind of mercenary, and has an assortment of side kicks in his gang including one very busty female pilot, who wears skimpy clothing with lots of leather straps. I think she and her ship get shot own at some point, I'm not sure. Our hero is capture by the indigenous rulers of the planet and taken prisoner, where he awaits his fate, which is to be that he will be castrated an forced in to a life of servitude. I think the plan is he will be a servant in the fortress that he has been incarcerated in.He is strapped to a conveyor belt and fed slowly in to a machine that has a mechanical arm with what looks like a mechanical bear trap on the end, as he is conveyed towards it his legs strapped apart to facilitate the castration, he is saved at the last minuet by a woman who is actually one of his captors, she appears to have developed a crush on him and decided to spare him, telling him "just pretend it happened" or words similar as he is conveyed past her.Thats all I can remember, asides from bits of the plot, along the lines of.he escapes.there are lots of gun battles etc.I know it's definitely not Zordos: that tragically bad flick with Shawn Connery, an it's not the last star fighter, though similar to both.

I saw this movie in 1993 or 1994 on TV. It was color. The action took place on a distant barren planet (probably Mars?). There it was a military/research base with a laboratory. Then there were these monsters which took the form of big balls and they were turning towards that base. The monsters had the form of big balls only when they were moving. They were monitorized through radars and often was starting the countdown: "They are approaching: 12 metres.7 metres.3metres.". Inside that base there were soldiers and scientists (in the lab). I remember one scene in an elevator, when one of the monsters killed in a disgusting way a soldier or a scientist. When the monsters penetrated the base, they killed a big part of the crew. It was a big contrast when the blood of the scientists was flooding those white surgical coats which they were wearing. It ISN'T "Screamers" (1995) or "Critters 4" (1991). Okay.I saw this movie at the age of 8 so that's around 1998(So it is in color.) I believe the movie had to have been made in the late 80s, early 90s. The synopsis revolves around a young man who visits a family at the awake of the family's grandfather. Upon arriving there he gives the family's living grandmother an hour glass of some sort(I believe he gave her a potion also.) He says that when it runs out he would be back. Eventually the grandmother dies also. The daughter soon participates in the spiraling crazy events that include the grandmother coming back to life to menace the rest of the living family (making them become like her).this includes a little boy and at the end, to the daughter's dismay,a little girl relative. If I'm not wrong the story has relevance to a key or keyhole. The grandmother's weird, scary voice is heard every time another one of the family members is possessed by the grandmother. The daughter screams at the end in the midst of police when the grandmother's voice comes out of the little girl's mouth.

It was the support movie with the Evil Dead on its first cinema outing in 1982. I watched this in Liverpool(UK) with my brother who wanted to leave! My wife watched it in Manchester at around the same time, long before we met, with a bunch of mates, one of whom did leave before the main feature. Sorry about this long winded explanation but it gives you an idea about how desperate I am for an answer to this. The plot: Man and wife in house, wife starts seeing people in the house - eg kid riding bike round front lawn, young man painting in front room. Her hallucinations/visions become worse - seeing man (not her husband) lying in bath of red, young painter lad dead with possible phone wire round neck. Madman flashing past bedroom door. She eventually goes mad and they move out. Husband goes back to house to pick up last box of belongings. F*** me - I'll never forget this bit (I was 18!). The kid is riding around the lawn, the woman at the door says that her son is home from uni painting and husband is ill in bed. Man goes back to car with belongings. Shock ! Madman jumps up from back seat - slashes his throat and runs towards house to cause the mayhem that his nutty wife had pre-seen. Camera focuses down to front seat of car - could be Daily Mail or Daily Express with headline banner about escaped murderer.

In the early 80s, during the Camper Slash flick craze, there was a movie that came out about a group of teens headed to the hills for a weekend of camping (sex and booze, and whatever else). I remember two scenes in the film:#1) At somepoint a group of the teens are in a station wagon, (pretty sure it was a wagon) and they are going to get away, but they can't get the car started. The two crazy brothers start terrorizing the kids, one jumps on the roof of the car and possibly sticking a knife through the roof. I am almost for certain that someone is injured in this scene, and would be after the first or second killing. I am thinking that the heroin is going to drive, her boyfriend is in the car and so is someone else. At some point, the girl makes a break for it trying to get the crazy guys to give chase.#2) One of the final scenes. The young blonde girl makes it to a house in the woods and is seeking help. An elderly couple are there and excited to see her. The "mother" figure winds up saying somethng that clues the girl in that she is not safe. From around the corner the two crazy guys start in and one is holding a birdcage. Inside the birdcage is the girls boyfriend's head. Of course in this fright moment, everyone has a laugh as the girl screams in terror and takes off running. At some point she makes it free, and is the lone survivor. That is all I can remember about this film, but have been looking for the name for over 10 years now.

The other woman gets her free and they try to escape.

horror movie from late seventies maybe early eighties about a haunted house that is haunted by a little girl who was buried with her evil jester doll. Throughout the movie the girl appears to the new residents and causes weird accidents resulting in death. Whenever the girl appears with her doll there is a really scary but annoying song that plays over and over again. Its not really a song but a word being said over and over again by the doll. There is a part in the movie where a girl gets cut in half in the basement. Another part where a guy falls down the basement and breaks throuh the floor and is covered in white goo. His girlfriend accidentally kills him with big gardening shears because she thinks he's a monster.

There is a famous, I think, movie from the '30's or 40's (?) about "the other woman." In the movie, her lover and his family, including his wife, are walking up the gang plank of an ocean liner going to Europe from New York, I think. After a while, the mistress walks up the gang plank, alone, to board the ship. A woman looking over the rails of the deck above the gang plank, seeing the "other woman" board, says to her companion words to the effect that everybody knows about this long standing affair but the principals don't think anyone does know.

it's a color movie from the 80's or late 70's about a little boy who I believe is in an orphanage where the man who runs it is quite abusive. I remember at one point he throws a snowball at the little boy's face and throws him in a closet. The little boy and his little girlfriend take a plane to some snowy place (perhaps the North Pole) where they meet Santa Claus and a young woman who may work for Santa. The little boy and girl are warned not to go beyond the lines of the North Pole because an Ogre lives there. They go anyways and are captured by the ogre and Santa and his lady friend must go undercover to rescue the children.

This is an American movie from the late 50's or early 60's. It's set in that time and it's in color. A slick, worldy man meets a shy deaf girl. He teaches her to speak a few words such as "bird" by drawing pictures and then putting the girl's hand on his throat while he pronounces the word. Then he places the girl's hand on her own throat and teaches her to sound out the word. He and the girl fall in love and run away together, but he abandons her at a diner. The girl doesn't know she's been dumped and sits at the diner all day, eating and waiting for the fellow to come back. A stout older lady who owns the diner demands the deaf girl pay for her food and get out. The deaf girl doesn't understand, and she doesn't have any money. When the owner sticks out her hand for money, the girl puts a cookie in it. Later the man regrets leaving the girl and comes back to rescue her from the diner because he realizes he is in love with her. For some reason, I thought Gene Kelly was the star in this movie, but I can't find anything with this plot/description in his filmography.

Saw movie on TV late 80s - mid 90s, I only remember it was about big machines that humans made and operated. One machine would fire a fist at another machine as an attack. Near the end the bad guy of the show, took over a machine that was carrying people as passengers. To fight that machine the good guys went and found the secret machine that was underground.

I vaguely remember seeing a film on TV as a young child and I think I saw it more than once in the early to mid 1970s. I thought it was called Wings of a Dove or something like that but I can't find anything with that name.I think it was set in UK somewhere. I cannot remember if it was black and white or colour.I remember the opening scenes including two young children a boy and a girl and I think they were staying with an uncle. This uncle was nasty and smashed up their dolls house and threw it into the fireplace.I also remember them standing on a cliff edge.I also think the uncle may have had a false/mechanical hand but I'm not sure about that.

This film was made sometime between 1988 and 1998. Color film I think. Parts of the plot I remember best; boy thinks his neighbor is a witch, he spies on her, catches her masturbating, he is confused by this, not a very sexual scene. The woman is more of a misunderstood character that is lonely. Images that stick in my mind, Amish type clothing, two pale twin girls, American-Gothic feel to the film. It may have been set in the 19th century, rural midwest or the high plains of the United States or Canada.

I remember my parents rented it on video but they don't remember the name of the film either.

This was a horror movie I saw back in the 80's on Saturday afternoon TV. It involved a family and the Dad was some kind of scientist working on a special heat resistant suit. Everyone eventually starts acting really strange. They have this German Shepherd and they kind of make you think its the dog that's causing the problem but it is really the devil. I think the kids kill the dog. what really stands out is the end where the Dad ends up putting on the suit to fight the devil or make some kind of deal. Movie was in color.

So I think he was a ghost of some kind or something. I remember there was a fireplace with a blood stain on it, that no matter how many times it was cleaned up the stain kept coming back. I sort of think there might have been some tree outside the house, and at then end of the movie some sort of white blossoms appeared (?). I think they fall in love in end.

A boy who could morph into other beings and a young set of twins blong girls. One of the twin girls had a genetic problem where she would age rapidly. There was a worm that would enter the foot and end up in the stomach.I think the man could ahev been a doctor and the place could have been an orphanage. I think half the world was light and half the world was dark. I have been searching for this for years I would love to find it.

i saw this in the mid 80's but it seemed to have been filmed possibly in the 70's. it might be that the budget was low as i believe i saw this on 'pbs' or 'public access'. it was about a guy returning from i think it was the civil war. he was walking through the woods and came across a guy who turned out to be the devil. the devil said he would make him rich if he didnt change clothes and always slept in a barn for 7 years. (i know it sounds stupid but thats how i remember it) also all the dude had to was reach in his shirt pocket and he would always pull out some coins. if anyone knows this show or maybe the story it was derived from it would be awesome.

i saw this in the 80's. it seemed to be filmed in the early 80's as i remember the sfx were very 'asteroids'. i hope this isnt already listed on the site ive looked and couldnt find a reference. ok. this im pretty sure was a movie but one of those with multiple stories (at least 3) and maybe a wraparound story.i guess it could be an episode of something but i dont think so. in one of the stories a guy is real good at this arcade game maybe the best ever but always died at the end of the 12th level. he gets a wild hair and i think breaks in to the arcade one night to play.he defeats the 12th level and gets to the secret 13th level at which point the enemies come off the screen and attack him in real life. the graphics of the creatures were made of simple straight lines like in 'asteroids'. at the end someone arrives and finds him inside the video game.

Okay so, my mother says that this movie took place in the 50's/60's. i do not know if that is when it was made. it was deffinatly in color. The only thing i can remember about the movie is that it was was a group of teenage boys that in one scene beat someone up under a bridge at night and it was raining i think. i dont remember if the person was beat to death, i think they might have been because these boys were pretty bad. The other thing is the significants of the boys clothing, they wore jeans with the cuffs rolled up and leather jackets your typical 50's 60's style.

Hi! I'm looking for the name of an old B&W movie--it may have been British; for some reason I feel like it was set in London. The plot involved angels using a rainbow to get to heaven (the rainbow was like the stairway to heaven). On Earth, the angels were camouflaged to look like various animals. The image I picture is of a white horse running up the rainbow. Anyway, it had a happy ending and involved some guy in a fedora winning the love of his life or turning his life around or something. (The angels helped him.) I saw it on TV in the mid-70s but I think it's much older than that--maybe even from the 30s or 40s. Any idea?

I believe it is either a late 90's/ early 00's film.It is a off beat, dry rom-com set in hospital. Now I am absolutely convinced it has Ron Livingston (Office space) as the main character who gets diagnosed with cancer and then while in hospital meets a girl who is really ill. They strike up a friendship, and at the end he kidnaps her so she can get to be outside. Swear it is him but cant see film in IMDB so might be actor who looks just like him!

This film is British and from the 1970's. It was an anthology with more than one story. The one I remember was a boy with his dog are exploring the countryside and finds a deep hole. The dog barks at it and I think killed (not sure). Not clear from here, but I know the boy's father and a group of townspeople go to explore this discovery and mayhem ensues. The boy's mother is waiting at home and we see a picture of the dad fly off the wall and break and so we know that the man has been killed, and I think someone shows up with their hair all turned white. I saw this on TV.
