So this is a color movie from either the late eighties or early nineties. The main character is a guy who has just moved into an old, i want to say victorian style house with is wife(or at least I think it was his wife, it was definitely some sort of woman). Soon after moving in his wife, or whoever it was, becomes some sort of mutated monster, purple skin, gaudy jewelery, long nails, and bulbous appendages. A battle ensues between the woman and the man. Man kills the woman and chops her up with an axe. He then bury the pieces of her in the back yard in garbage bags. Now here is where my memory gets really spotty. I remember that his dogs digs up the hand of the woman and brings it in the house where it moves around by itself. I also remember the bathroom mirror somehow containing a dimensional portal. Also his dad who died in a war comes back as a zombie wearing army gear and begins talking to the main character. I think the movie ends with him shoving a grenade down the throat of his zombie dad and blowing him and maybe the house up.

I watched this film in the mid 80's on television though I think it may be a 70's film as it involved witches and devil/Satan worshipping theme. There's a couple living in a farmhouse in the country and one of the final scenes involves the terrified woman barricading herself and her child (son?) into what I think was a nursery. From what I can remember the floor was blue but with a large motif/compass on it... might have been a pentagram? I think there's another scene in it when the boy is looking round an outhouse on the farm, there may have been lots of jars with lots of specimens in them.I know this sounds a bit similar to Crowhaven Farm but I don't think that's it.

The movie is american maybe Disney not sure as have checked there! Eighties i would say?!A young boy gets locked in the school cloak room after hours, a figure comes in with a flashlight looking for something, (which turns out to be a locket or earring in the grate) belonging to a murdered young girl from the school, her spirit visits the boy until he puts together the pieces and discovers it was a family friend who killed her, (after a shooting trip (i think) in the car when the killer starts to whistle a tune that the murdered girl has put into the boys head, (maybe a jewellry box or a tuned she hummed when visiting him!!!)

Result: Eerie, Indiana (TV) episode, Hearts on a Chain Description from TV.com: Marshall and a classmate both fall for a new girl. The boy gives her a locket shaped like a heart. When the boy is in a terrible accident, his heart is transplanted into her body. Marshall suspects that something is wrong when the girl starts acting like his dead friend. The boy, Devon, was killed on a skateboard by a milk truck. Finally, when the girl, Melanie, realizes that she was acting like the dead boy, she takes the locket to the cemetary and hangs it on the angel statue that is his headstone. After she walks away, the angel's face is lit by the sun and a tear runs down its face. Thanx Alli. Feb 18, 2008
I'm not sure that this film is horror but it deals with almost a possession type of theme if I can recall correctly. This girl dates a guy who seems to be a daredevil(one scene showed him on his skateboard holding onto a milk truck doing some trick I think). One time the daredevil antics end up killing him and she takes either his necklace or a bracelet he used to wear. She ends up being taken over by all his old personality traits and starts to become like him. It's like she was possessed by him from the bracelet. I remember his grave was an angel statue and at the end she gives him the bracelet/necklace back and it shows the angel grave with a tear coming down. The movie was in the mid 90's and I was pretty young.

I saw this movie in the late '80's, I think, and I have a vague recollection that it had a combination of cartoon and human characters. It had a wonderful death scene in which someone with a fistful of cash is running and gets mortally injured (struck by a car, shot?) and lies dying. As this character realizes that he's dying he also realizes that the money, which had been so important previously, is now worthless to him and he slowly unclenches his fist and the bills slowly flutter away. As this is happening, we become conscious of a sound which we identify as a heartbeat, his heartbeat, thunk-thunk, thunk-thunk, louder and louder but slower and slower. And then we become aware of a pool table slowly being "cleaned"; cue ball on object ball (thunk), object ball in the pocket (thunk), over and over until the last ball is potted. And, with the last "thunk", our protagonist is dead.

The movie takes place in a desert somewhere poss Africa. I think there was either a hot air balloon or a car present that crashed or broke down. There is a scene where she has to take a shower or get some water. It has been a while. I remember it being funny and they get together at the end.

I saw a film on television as a child in the late 80's/ early 90's. I think it may have been a British made for tv movie, but I'm not sure. In the beginning of the film a a young couple and their small son are on vacation near a lake, the boy ends up drowning, possibly by swimming too far out in the water playing with their dog. The parents, in particular the mother, are distraught. A little later in the film the couple are driving along a road through a rain storm when they narrowly miss colliding with an oncoming car. They end up staying in an empty house ( I'm not sure if this house was their intended destination or not, I think it may have been a distant relative's country home or some such) and shortly afterwards the woman begins to hear strange sounds, and then, the voices of ghosts. When she tells her husband, he thinks she is suffering delusions caused by the loss of their son and doesn't take her seriously. The couple have not left the house since they arrived: it is very foggy and the weather is still poor. Eventually, the husband leaves the house for some reason (possibly to find help) and while he is gone the woman sees the ghosts of a mother and several young children. One child is blindfolded and playing blind man's bluff or hide and seek of some sort and ends up touching the young woman. The two panic at seeing each other when the child takes off his blind fold and the woman runs from the house. She comes across her husband who is staring intently at something in a ditch: we see he is looking at their car with their dead bodies inside and we realise they did not miss the oncoming car on their way to the house but rather were killed in the accident. They are ghosts - I can't remember if the other "ghosts" in the house are also dead or if they are living people who just seem like ghosts to the couple who are "on the other side".

I remember seeing a comedic movie in the early to mid 1980's, so the film could also date back to the late 70's.I don't really know the plot of the movie other than it had a slapstick college or camping theme.I do remember the opening scene quite vividly. It opens on large building, most likely a dorm, near the end of the semester. A crow is perched on a statue in the center of the grounds and is annoying a particular resident with is crowing. The resident (who is unseen, except for his arms) makes several attempts to silence the crow. One of the attempts is trying to shoot it with a bow and arrow. But he misses, hitting another resident in the butt, who then falls out his window backwards and naked (no frontal nudity seen). The faceless resident then attempts to blow up the statue by throwing dynamite at it, but this fails as well. The scene then changes to the inside of another dorm room, where two main characters are conversing. One throws a beer can or beer bottle out the window and offscreen we hear the crow cry as it is hit.The movie ends with some sort of a regatta and a huge, comedic flood. The final scene is of one of the main characters in a raft with his female love interest, naked under a blanket, floating down the river, possibly toward rapids or a waterfall.

I believe the movie was in black and white but I saw it on television in maybe...1972?? I am sure it was filmed much earlier, possibly the late 50's, or at least that is the time I think it was set in. The plot is a young girl who is light skinned whom everyone believes is white, but her Mother is black. The daughter tries to hide her mother from everyone so that they believe and treat her as if she is white. Her mom works very hard, I think she cleans homes and loves her daughter so I dont know if she denies the way her daughter is treating her or if she doesnt realize what her daughter is capable of until she is much older. Her daughter does everything in her power to not allow anyone to know about her Mother and her background. Only upon her Mothers death and funeral does she regret the life she has chosen and her rejection of her Mother. When the Mom is on her death bed she says something like "I dont have a daughter" and finally rejects her daughter. I just remember the daughter following the hearse and crying, saying to please forgive me and that she loves her. Although I was very young at the time, I felt it was such a powerful movie especially for the time it was made. It shows how society treats people of different skin color so radically different and how cruel children can be to their parents, or family to each other. And you only discover and have those regrets always when its too late. Im sure I am missing many other underlying messages since I was a child when I saw it.

I saw this film about 4-5 years ago (exact date was June-July of 2001). It was played quite frequently on cable (TV). I can't exactly remember what channel it was played on but I am guessing something like lifetime or a channel similar to that. The movie was about a family (a husband, wife and about 5-7 year old boy) who were headed somewhere in their car. A boy, who was sitting in a back seat, distracted his father with a toy, causing him to merge into oncomming traffic and get into a head on collision (I think it was with a semi-truck). A blonde, female pollice officer who was on scene helped EMT's to extricate the father and the son, however his wife did not survive. After the recovery from the crash, the husband is left to take care of his traumatized son, who only plays with his one favorite toy and does not talk at all. He is traumatized because of his mother's death. A female pollice officer begins visiting the guy, and they soon start dating. She develops a relationship with her son and he feels somewhat close to her.I believe in the end they get married, but I'm not sure about that. This is about the summary of the movie, unfortunately, I can't remember who starred in it nor the name of it. Like I said I watched it in 2001, however it could have come out as early as early 90's. But my guess is it is between 97-2001.

This was an odd, animated film. It was in color and was in American English, and I watched it in '96 or '97 on a VHS tape. The animation and voices seemed typical of the 70s or 80s. The main character was a little boy (whose name eludes me) who looked like he was wearing a white suit; he had no physical features other than his whiteness and his face. He was being read to by his father (who was oddly enough fully clothed and haired), but he was busy watching TV. He imagined a fantastical world with rocky buildings and cones, and he was doing something throughout, but it was fully a dream sequence. Two specifics; there were three fat red (tomato?) ladies and a money tree. Perhaps there was a bank as well. It was a little surreal.

A woman sits in a rocking chair, rocking back and forth and clutching a doll in the upstairs room of a house (or maybe attic) singing a nursery rhyme with the refrain "Hey nonny nonny nonny". I thought the woman might be Mercedes McCambridge. Detectives are trying to interview her regarding a murder--her daughter maybe? She is basically unresponsive and keeps singing to herself. The nursery rhyme goes something like, "she's lost her sheep, she's gone to sleep, and nobody can find her, hey nonny nonny nonny"--not sure if those are the exact words, but something similar.

I remember this horror movie when i was about 8 or so. So roughly it was circa about 1980's. The parts I remember were about this girl that stops at this little flea market in Mexico on her journey and she finds a little carved figurine keychain. The peddler refuses to sell it to her but she steals it anyway when the peddler isnt looking. Then another part is her being held hostage by some guy in a closet or something and by this time the keychain figurine she is holding in her hand is controlling her blue corvette and causing mass destruction of pursuing police cars as if in a game of chicken or a roller derby. While the car carnage ensues shes still captive and her eyes are glowing red and shes standing in the closet catatonically with a epileptic shake. Thats about all I remember from it but its driving me crazy to try to find it. It aired one weekday night on CBS as the late movie after the 10 o'clock news.

it's a black and white movie about a man and woman who kidnap children and keep them until they are "bad", at which point they are thrown into a dungeon or something, the protagonist is a little girl, and there is a little boy who was locked away previously , but is now trying to help the girl, this is not children under the stairs but wes craven obviously stole alot of the plot content for his lame ass movie. there is a dog i think, and a corridor with razors(?)and maybe the children are blinded after they misbehave

I saw this movie on television sometime before 1981. I seem to remember small "elves" that were trying to kill people in the house. One had a knife and was coming after someone. One particular scene I remember is two of the "elves" stretching some sort of wire across the threshold of a doorway and cutting the ankles of someone who walked through the door. I'm thinking the scary "elves" were no bigger than 6 inches.

Does anyone know this old film, shown on TV in late 70's/early eighties about a couple that rented a flat and then found out that they were both seeing a man and woman from 100 years or so before arguing in that flat. I think there was a quick noise that happened and the room changed to how it would have been years before. The (possibly) newly wed couple saw the ghost like man and woman separately at first then both together and they witness the old man drowing his wife in the bathroom or something like that. Then right at the end the landlord appears a t the door and shows the new tennant and its the bloke that murdered his wife. I think he had a moustache. ?

I'm looking for a thriller/horror movie that I saw on VHS from back in the 70's. My memory is vague, but I'll tell you all that I remember. It's a trilogy - 3 stories interwoven together about cats killing people. One episode was about an actress rehearsing for a movie and she had to go into this standing box with all spikes in it. She saw a cat staring at her, evil like. She screamed & the cat jumped on the rope that was holding the box open. The rope loosened, the door closed shut & the spikes went through the woman & killed her. Another episode showed this older guy sitting down in his room. His friend came over & started talking to him, but he wasn't answering. So the friend asked, "what's the matter, the cat bite your tongue?" And turned the chair around & sure enough his tongue was bit right off & it showed the cat eating it. I can't remember anything else. I know it wasn't called "cat people", or "cat's eye". Can you help?

This Black and White movie is at least forty years old, I would say older as it had the look of an old movie in the late 60’s when I saw it. I believe it takes place in England. It is about a wealthy girl whose mother had died when she was an infant. She latter learns that her father had an affair with the maid and the maid was her real mother. Her father’s wife (who she had thought was her mother) had killed the maid (her real mother) by opening the maid’s windows and letting her die of exposure. The wife then claimed the baby girl was her own. The wife’s ghost now has malicious intent towards the girl. I can remember a scene where her father is ill in bed and the ghost of his dead wife is forming behind the daughter as she kneels down talking to him. He can see the evil spirit forming but is too weak to warn his daughter.

i am embarrassed! but i saw a cheesy 80s slasher flick when i was at a slumber party in the mid to late 80s. it was really dumb, even to us 6th graders back then. but there was this one scene where this big-haired big-boobed girl was sitting or crouched on the toilet in a bathroom stall making out/having sex with a guy (or maybe it was just her masturbating? i can't remember). then i'm pretty sure they got killed either on the toilet or in the bathroom. it was kind of sexy to me at the time. WEIRDO! anyway, i really want to watch this movie again to see what all the hub-bub was about. so, all i know for sure, sex--toilet--death.

as a kid i saw this in the 1980s. my best guess is that it's a Twilight Zone episode cos i saw it in black and white and then a newer version in color (or maybe it was just a colorized version?). there was a large scientist-type of jar filled with fluid that had a fleshy mangled object inside, like a head. it had hair but wasn't human, more alien-like. and people would come into the lab and see the jar and believe they saw it twitch or move. at one point the jar gets knocked off the table and the thing is one the floor. most of the characters were mean/cruel/annoying people. you hoped the thing in the jar would kill them or something. in the color/colorized version the fluid in the jar was green. i'm not sure if it was a short or full-length movie. i have no idea about plot other than, STAY AWAY FROM THE THING IN THE JAR!

Horror movie from the late 60's-early to mid 70's. The movie was in color and featured some sort of cult, or demon-worshiping cult that worshiped a demon or being named Asmodeus. These cultists were kidnapping people for sacrifices, I believe. I remember many scenes filmed underground in what looked to me like natural (sandstone?) caves, making me think that the location may have been California(?). They would carry these potential sacrifices down into these tunnels, and throw them onto a stone altar to be sacrificed, all the while chanting "Asmodeus... Asmodeus... Asmodeus..." over and over again to conjure this thing up. Seems to me I did see some horned demon creature finally being conjured up. I remember also a big mansion in the woods. These caves were possibly under or near this mansion. I saw this movie on late-night t.v. during the mid seventies when I was about 7 or 8 years old. I remember it being quite scary, and I think thats the reason my memories of it are are so sketchy. I may have eventually forced myself to change the channel during the commercial.

It was either a late 70's or early 80's movie and it did involve ghosts too. There was a scene from a funeral home where a man gets pushed in a casket and hit in the head with a hammer. I also remember a "floating ghost" scene and a scary guy that would run around the gravestones. The only other scene I can remember is at an open house, a lady gets killed at the house and gets wrapped in the sheet that is protecting the carpet.

He enconters several dangers, such as canibals and etc. The teddy tiger turns into a real one to kill the canibal... I believe the movie was out in the late 80's early 90's. My daughter and niece watched it all the time. It's about an old man that lives alone in the country. One day a lady shows up with 3 kids I believe 2 girls and 1 boy, they are his nieces and nephew. Their mom died of cancer and an aunt that had been watching them since the mom died found out she had the same cancer that their mom had and she had to bring these kids to this hermit/loner before she died. He was not very happy but he was the only living relative. They called him "Uncle Zeb". The kids being new to this lifestyle, farming, he called them a bunch of "Green Horns" They had a hard time at first then they began to get close to the uncle. I believe the sheriff's wife turned this matter into children's services because she felt this man wasn't capable of taking care of the kids. Uncle Zeb was notified they were going to take the kids from him so he took then and headed up into the mountains. While going further into the wilderness he broke his leg and one of the kids had to find their way back to get help. They ended up caring for each other and the kids wanted to stay with him and it turned out he was able to keep the kids and raise them.

NOT Panama Lady or JivaroPoster checked it out. This is a black-and-white film from perhaps the 1950's or early 1960's. It takes place in a South American jungle. In one scene, a man and a woman are being pursued by a number of local natives. They run toward the edge of a river where a wooden raft is moored. They get on the raft and begin to shove off from the land. As they start to pull away, one of the pursuing natives jumps on to the raft and fights with the man. The man manages to kill the native, who falls onto his stomach on the raft with one of his arms dangling in the water. As the native's arm dangles in the water, it is attacked by a horde of piranhas. The native continues to lay on the raft as the couple shove off from shore. Once the couple are away from shore, they paddle for a considerable time down the river; with the dead native continuing to lay on the raft. After paddling for a while, and being a safe distance from the natives, the couple head for shore and disembark from the raft. Before they leave, they look at the dead native's arm in the water. All they see just below the surface is the skeletal remains of his arm--the flesh having been eaten clean by the piranhas.

The only parts I remember were the main character walking up a mountain/big hill to reach the headless horseman's cabin. There were a couple things that happened on the way up the hill such as a scarecrow messes with them I think. When they finally got to the cabin, they go in and the headless horseman is gone and they start messing around with stuff and the main character ends up turning into the headless horseman for some reason like he drinks some potion maybe. I recall one scene in the movie where she sneaks into her step brothers room and has sex with him. Then another scene where she pays a visit to her head teacher, she starts to seduce him but he pushes her away and she goes mental... a mirror in the room smashes and a shard of the mirror kills the teacher possibly by slitting his throat (i can't quite remember) i think she may have used telekinisis to smash the mirror with her mind. I think the movie was made in the 1990's possibly 2000 and it seemed quite low budget like a B movie or something and had that gothic/vampire feel to it, unfortunately i never saw the entire movie.

I have a question which is probably pretty easy, as I know its a mainstream movie.I believe the movie stars Charles Bronson (or a Charles Bronson type) and it is from the 80's. I don't think its one of the Death Wish movies, as it doesn't follow that pattern. Anyways, all I can remember about the movie is that there is this guy killing a bunch of people, and the movie has a good deal of time devoted to the killer, his life and whatnot, and it ends up being less of a cop drama and more of a character study/horror movie almost. The killer wears latex examination gloves when he kills people (which he does with a knife I belive). I also want to say that he strips down to his underwear when he kills too, but I could be wrong. I believe there is a scene where he kills people having sex in a van in the woods (and in the video release they are completely naked, but for tv showings they somehow gave them underwear) and he ends up stalking the girl through the woods. In another scene he kills someone in a public place and has to go to the mens room to clean up.

Her husband can't see the visions, and believes she's going crazy. She ends up entering a mental institution, they leave the house, and he visits her in the ward. One day he returns back to the house in his car after a visit with his wife, without realising he has an escaped mental patient in the back of the car. On stopping the mental patients cuts his throat, then proceeds to enter the house and murder the new family that have moved in, exactly as the woman had seen it. The twist being we assumed the visions were the past, not the future.

She then climbs to the top of the house, now in the form of a badly hand crafted giant, totally nude, breasts and all. She looks down at the couple that had been the main characters, and she somehow blows up. This causes blood to go everywhere, all over the house and the couple. Then, the couple looks at each other kisses, while covered in blood, then puts there arms around each other and the just walk away, down the sidewalk.

I'm thinking this film was mid-70's to early eighties. I only remember a people seeing an ape-like creature in the woods ( I believe it was white and possibly turned out to be a man in a costume ). The last scene was of a group of people around a banquet table - they appeared to be from around different countries and possibly dignitaries. A womans husband was on the table ( or vice versa ) and she or he was handed an electric carving knife to carve the first slices for eating by the guests.....

I am looking for an old black and white movie, I am guessing from the 40's or 50's. In it there is a crazy woman chained under the floorboards of an old house, and the house is on fire. I saw this movie on TV. The woman's hair was all matted and she made wheezing sounds.
