TV miniseries. It was shown somwhere between 1980 - 1998. Some of the actors/actresses were I believe, Christopher Plummer, Leslie Caron, and Michael York and maybe even Lewis Smith (North and South, "The Heavenly Kid") or someone who looks like him. From what I can remember it was a love story about a young girl (who was abducted years ago) whose nanny (played by Leslie Caron) wanted her to marry a wealthy, rich man, someone with power and money, even a prince. The movie takes place in Europe. Two men vie for the girl's affection, but in the end only one guy wins. The other one ends up being her brother and Christopher Plummer her father. One scene that stands out was that the girl always were grey. The actress' name who played the young girl escapes me, but I believe she is a British actress that was in her early 20s at the time of this movie. I wish I had more information for you. But that's all I can remember. Although the time period of the movie must have been in the days of horses and carriages. Thanks.

It's a coming of age American film centered around a housekeeper and a teen boy. The housekeeper comes to the teen's room to talk to him and the teen essentially takes advantage of her while not really listening. The housekeeper also has a lot of suitors who lurk around the house's property and the father chases them away. I "think" the film's name is the housekeeper's name in the movie and is probably filmed in the 80's or early 90's.

One Bubba type guy tells the other something like, If you want the ultimate thrill, try the death spasm, or something like that. He has the guy go at her anally and he slits her throat, so the second guy gets off as her body has death throws.SERIOUSLY twisted. and this is something I saw on regular TV during daytime hours, in the early 70s .I don't remember anything else about the movie, but that scene haunted me as a kid

it was quite an oldish film and I was watching it about 2 in the morning. But the plot of the story is: two men steal this dead body (it's a comedy), and they perform voodoo on this guy to bring him back to life, sort of, as this man buried treasure under the sea but had died before he could tell anyone where it was. Then another two men steal the body to help them find this treasure. It was under the sea on some sort of caribbean island. and every time conga music played, this guy would come back to life and dance to the music and when it stopped, he died again. I was in stitched watching this film and all i really remember was him dancing under the sea and these two men folding this body in half to stick him in a suitcase to get to the island.

I remember that the hero and heroine find a way to break the machine and defeat the man who owned the mansion.

Back in the 1960's when I was a kid I saw a scary movie on the Saturday afternoon Creature Feature where people were slowly covered in seaweed or moss. It was some kind of infection or transformation caused by radiation and it started out as a patch of green fuzzy stuff here and there and grew until the people were covered in it, like "Swamp Thing." I distinctly recall near the end when a man and woman are rowing a small boat in the fog and he turns into the vegetation man as the fog clears. I believe it was in black-and-white.

Anyway, the plot was that a boy/teenager in a town (seemed like a desert type of town) finds a cool looking golf ball sized rock and (I think turns it into a necklace which he puts around his neck - maybe). EIther way, a rock like thing starts starts to show up on his chest and he even gets it checked out at the doctor and all are clueless as to what is causing it. Over a bit of time, he starts changing and actually finds some sort of arm gun too. He start getting really mean and deformed and threatens part of the town. This movie is at least thirty years old. It is about a girl who’s mother had died but she latter learns that her father had an affair with the maid and the maid was her real mother. Her father’s wife (who she had thought was her mother) had killed the maid (her real mother) by opening the maid’s windows and letting her die of exposure. The wife then claimed the baby girl was her own. The wife’s ghost now has malicious intent towards the girl. I can remember a scene where her father is ill in bed and the ghost of his dead wife is forming behind the daughter as she kneels down talking to him. He can see the evil spirit forming but is too weak to warn his daughter.

The movie I saw at the theatre around 1979, when I was about ten (so it was in color). It had something to do with a spaceship that was unearthed during excavation for a skyscraper. There was some talk about comparing the skulls inside the ship with primitive humanesque skulls. One movie I saw on TV in the 80's, in color. I think it took place in Italy, but at least I'm pretty sure it was in Europe. A man seems to be having a flashback to meeting his love when he walks into a church & sees a woman on a ladder. I think she was an artist involved in stained glass window restoration. She looks just like a woman he fell in love with twenty years before, and whom he met in the exact same situation, but she had been killed (supposedly along with her daughter) after having been kidnapped. It turns out that the woman who looks just like her is in fact her daughter, who had not been in the car the fated kidnapper's car (I'm not clear on the details). I think the now-adult daughter was set up by someone to pose as her mother & trap him for some reason. I think they become lovers & she discovers that he wasn't at fault for her mother's death.

I am looking for a short film (maybe 10-15 min.) which I seen off a film projector. It was color and maybe 30 years old.A man is living in the woods in a small cabin that has a boxed up window. I think the story goes back to show why this window is boxed up. This man's wife (or some woman) has passed away and he is cleaning her up and preparing her for burial. One night he wakes up (he is in a room with the dead woman and the window is just a hole in the wall) and hears something growling in the room that came in through the window. He shoots at it and in the flash of the gun fire you can see a quick glance of a mountain lion or similar animal eating on the woman. The man goes into shock or something and doesn't open his eyes until morning where he sees the woman laying there with a horrifying look on her face. The film shows that she was actually not dead by showing how her shoes were off and feet were dirty (she walked around in the dark), there was bright red blood on her (blood didn't coagulate after death), and she died in a defense position as the lion attacked (maybe she had its ear in her mouth).

I have been racking my brain for years regarding a movie I saw at a drive-in the summer of 1966.It was a psychopatic chiller and I cannot remember anything but the end of the movie. The killer was being chased through a shipyard and a massive amount of ship chains hanging in the air fell on the killer. The police thought he was dead. Pan to the last scene and up the stairs to the landing. The killer is tied to a chair to hold him up,his body broken up. He has doll makeup on, like a puppet. He looks at the camera and says "Mama". Well my dad was in the back seat and said "Mama" and I jumped and broke the emergency brake.

I saw this movie on TV, it was made in the 70's or 80's. Seemed to have been made in England. It was in color. Unknown (to me) English actors. Movie was about a 747 pilot who is found stumbling around in the wreakage of his commercial airliner that crashed. He spends the rest of the movie trying to find out why the plane crashed, and who caused it. Not so much scary as eerie. When the pilot does find the culpret he is given his just rewards and dies in a fire in the hanger where the wreakage of the 747 is being put back together (for investigative purposes). In the last scene, the cockpit door is opened (it was jammed shut in the crash and could not be opened)and the pilot is found still strapped in his seat, burnt to a crisp by crash investigators. Evidently he died in the crash along with eveyone else on the plane.

I saw this movie when I was about 8 years old which was in 1990 so it had to be made before then. It is a horror movie I believe. I saw it on vhs tape at my aunts house it may have been taped from tv but not really sure she passed away so there is no way of getting the answer from her. well here is what I remember. It is about twin girls who are either in catholic school or belong to a catholic church. Its a simple case of good twin bad twin they are young girls no older than 15 i think. but could be as young as 10. The good twin is going to go through her communion and gets everything but the evil twin kills her and hides her in a trunk I think in the attic of the church. And takes her identity. The priest in the movie finds out the truth and i believe she kills him also.

Ok, I believe this was from the late eighties to early nineties, color, I saw it on Tv, I was only 9-12 years so it's quite vague! It might be an episode of the Equalizer, or a Movie maybe, here goes. I remember this crazy teenage girl took a boy to her room, she made him sit on the bed and (she's crazy you see) She took her skirt off or jeans or whatever and started pushing her knickers in his face and saying 'do you want to smell it' or something, anyway that kind of things leaves an impression when you're that age... Then i think she had rigged a bomb into a van and she took them both into the van and blew them up! (Told you she was crazy!) Anyway I know this sounds odd, but It's one of those things I HAVE to remember what it was before I die!

This was an episode of one of those TV horror series, or in a trilogy type movie. I have checked almost all of the them, but cannot find this one. I cannot remember a specific time-period. A woman was fooling around with a married man, but he wouldn't leave his wife. The woman was also a witch/voodoo priestess, and she casts a spell that he would return to her that night. However, he had a heart attack or otherwise died suddenly. He was also an organ donor. So he re-animates and returns to his lover, with a nice big gaping hole in his abdomen and no eyes. She screams in terror and tries to send him back. But my favorite, his comeback: "Good thing they didn't take all my organs, huh babe!" or something to that effect.

This movie is about ESP or paranormal abilities. It dates from the 1960s I believe, but may be as early as the late '50s. I saw it on TV at some point in the late '60s or early '70s. I can't remember the entire plot, but it revolved around identifying individuals with some sort of mental control ability. It seems that a group of individuals were being studied. At one point, there is a scene where several people are sitting around a conference table attempting to make a pencil spin with the power of their mind. It happens, but there is a twist here with the person who actually has the ability. Again, details are hazy, but it appears that one person in the group is out to elimiate the others. I believe one of the group leaves and holes up in a hotel room where he ends up dead. Of course, the hero teams up with the attractive female to defeat the villan and save the day. I seem to recall the hero having dark hair a la George Hamilton, but researched all similar actors and can't find a title that rings a bell in their filmographies. The movie was in color.

Movie I saw in the early 70s; scariest thing ever (at least for me and my friend). All I can recall was someone comes to a country home where a doctor has discovered an old lady has died in her bed. The Granny-looking lady was scared to death, it appears, because her eyes are wide open and her mouth is WIDE open with her teeth bared (to have been the actress holding her mouth open like this would have been painful; it's a really shocking face). Her face is just the most horrifying thing you can imagine. Well, the woman (possibly a man) has to stay in the house that night because of some mishap (the doctor has left and she (or he) can't leave because of a storm). While sleeping the the same room with the horrible corpse, she wakes up to discover the body isn't in the bed any longer. She looks around the, low and behold, it's sitting, just as dead, with that same horrible screaming face, rocking back and forth in the chair, illuminated by lighting flashes. Then, I think the girl runs to the corner of the room (she's trapped), and the camera shows the corpse floating across the room toward her (it shows her feet a couple inches off the floor) ... that's where my memory ends.I thought for years the movie was called "Silent Scream," but googling that title get's nothing like the movie I'm describing. Even remembering the movie now, 36 years later or so, it still freaks me out. I'm surprised this movies is hard to find! Thanks if you can tell me anything. Sorry I don't know any names of characters or actors. I just remember it being black and white, and looking somewhat old (perhaps a movie from the 40s?). The face freaked my friend out just as much as me, and we both were pretty unhappy we'd watched the film at the time. It's gotta be a classic!?

i am looking for a movie that i saw on usa (up all night) late night weekend, 1987/86. the film is color, possbly from the early 70s and pretty psychedelic. a woman is trapped in a room of a giant house, and she is being psychologically tortured and held captive by a man. for instance, he brings her a dead animal on a silver platter. she escapes from the house and runs through the woods. i think some of the story is the trapped woman narrating her torment.

I have been looking for this for foverever so hopefully you might know something... I think it had to be a late 1970's movie, it saw it on t.v by the mid 80's.. I only remember a scene where this small furry creature, maybe brown- and whiteish.. climbs up on a young girl while she sleeps in her room and sucks the oxygen out from her.I don't think she dies but she starts coughing. And either in the same scene it or maybe a cat goes into a box fan running on the floor, and there is blood everywhere.

I have one scene from a film sticking in my mind, and I can't remember from which movie it came. It was probably released anywhere from the mid 80s through the mid 90s. It would be from the United States and I saw it either on TV or as a VHS rental, although that doesn't mean it didn't make it to theaters. The scene shows a character- I think it's a woman but I'm not sure- looking into a mirror. The character begins to slowly pick at her/his cheek. As she/he picks, the camera focuses on a basin of water below and the viewer sees pink swirls in the water (blood). The picking continues until chunks of skin start coming away. There are possibly maggots under the skin and the character possibly gags or vomits. This could have been part of a dream sequence.

Late 60's movie about a woman chained in an attic of an old farmhouse wiht at least 3 floors, who was cared for by a man. He would never get close enought to touch her, just throw the food at her. I also remember a lighthouse in the movie, and someone being pulled behind a truck for fun and loosing their grip and being thrown into a barb-wired fence. The woman was scary and you never were able to see her face. I think that it had 'behind the door' somewhere in the title. It also had an ocean nearby, hence the lighthouse.

Good day, I am looking for a movie from the late 60's or early 70's. The setting is modern time. It's about a woman that is married and there is a young girl that tries to take her husband. Somehow the young girl and her family (friends, not sure which) are from the past. They were (I think) witches from Salem. I remember they have this woman on the ground and they have placed a sheet of plywood on her. On the wood they start putting on stones. The young girl (now dressed in Puritian type clothes)tells the woman to give her "thy husband" The poor woman struggles to get off her wedding ring.

It has been a very long time since I saw this movie and it was only once at that. A giel is sent to live with either an aunt or a grandmother in a house along the beach. There is a long set of stairs connnecting the house to the beach (somewhere on the East Coast I think, but it could be elsewhere). There is some sort of legend connected to the house or to a storm and towards the end, during a storm, the girl runs up the steps and finds her caretaker lying on a couch and when she turns her over, instead of a human face, she has a porcelain one and is dead. I believe that the girl accidently lets go and the head shatters showing nothing there. Also, there is some connection to a fisherman but I cannot remeber if he is good or bad (though I think he was tring to help).

hi. i just saw the beginning of this movie when i was about 8-10 yrs old. which would b the mid to late 80's. my best friend and i were watching it on tv and our mothers saw and made us turn it off. it started off with people dancing around a fire and then cut to a family in a house and a young boy watching tv the mother cooking breakfast and the father in the shower. the mother was making toast and then she dropped the carton of milk as she was taking it out of the fridge. she then starts doing something with the toaster and the milk flows over to her foot and she is getting electrocuted. i'm not sure if i made this part up in my head but i think the father gets out of the shower when the boy starts yelling and gets electrocuted too when he touches her. all of this happened and the little boy witnesses it. that is when we had to turn the tv off. also i'm not sure if the people dancing around the fire was a different channel but i think it is part of the same movie.

For some reason they were not allowed to be together because of there differences. I think they might have been from a different planet or lived in outerspace. I dont remember much about it, since i was so young. I do kind of remember, as they grew two teen agers she might have been naked with long hair and so were all the woman from where she was from. At the end of the movie i remember the boy dying for some reason and the sad heartbroken girl carries his body to what i believe was water. He might have been made of fire and she might have been made of water. Like i said i dont remember much about the movie, but my dad recently passed away and i would love to find it as it was a very important memory of time spent with him as a kid.

The ex comes to the house one night and basically kidnaps her and while they are driving back to his house she tries to jump from the car but they are high up in the mountains and so when she does jump she falls down the embankment, hits her head on rocks and dies. The only other thing I remember is that Kansas' "Dust in the Wind" plays at the end of the movie when the parents find out their daughter is dead.

I am looking for the name of a movie I watched once on video in 1996, (it was probably released around that time as well). It's about a woman that gets impregnated by a creature with a snake-like appearance. The unborn baby is extremely intelligent, and frequently speaks to her, and gives her advice. She eventually gives birth to the baby while on a bus filled with football players. I can't remember what the baby looked like, but it was certainly not human. All I remember about the woman was that she was sort of a drifter, moving from job to job, and from man to man. The one quote I remember is a quote in which she stated she liked, "guys with sad eyes." The movie was sort of a cross between a drama and a horror.

I saw an old black & white movie about 15-20 yrs ago, it was a murder/mystery maybe from the 40's or 50's, that is my best guess. I don't remember too much, but I know a man ends up missing and there is an investigator and the missing mans wife and I believe his son. I think the investigator ends up determing the wife murdered the husband, but had a good reason. I believe, for some reason, they end up digging up the body and the reburing it in another place and the wife doesn't get charged and the only ones who know what truly happened are wife, son and detective.Again, it has been a LONG time since I have seen it, but all these years I have always wondered the name and would like to see it again. I know with CERTAINTY there is a detective and he does end up solving the case and I know the body gets retrieved.ps..the boy could have been his son or maybe just a neighbor, I am not sure

The only scene I have a clear memory of was the male lead (late 30's dark hair - looks like Billy Crudup) crying and having a flashback where it looked like he was having an argument with a woman (wife?) in the front seat and a little boy in a car seat in the back. They look back at the little boy and then seem to be laughing. The boy looks like he's laughing at first and then looks scared and throws a toy at his parents. They turn around and a truck is bearing down on them through the windshield. I got the impression that the man (father?) may have been remembering the event clearly for the first time.

Trying to think of a movie I saw late-night on HBO around 1991-1994 or so. American (or British) movie taking place in an insane asylum. Leaned more towards being psychological/suspense movie than an outright horror flick (definitely not a slasher-type movie). I don't remember much about the plot (I *think* there were murders happening in the asylum, but not sure). I believe the main character was a young woman (who was an inmate in the asylum).
