I'm looking for a movie most likely a made for tv movie that I saw in the late 70;s early 80's ..the characters were in some kind of island hotel and then they are abandoned by the hotel staff who happen to be black ( maybe there was a storm or something..) later on they start realizing that maybe they are dead because all of them had an near death experience ..one of the older mature guys refuses this theory since he doesnt remember having a near death experience until he remembers he fell downs the stairs drunk at some kind of party back home ...at the end of the movie a small plane lands and they are happy becuase the pilot promises them he will go get help..except one of the ladies recognizes the pilot as a rock/pop star who's been missing (dead?) flying his plane and she heard aboout this rock star in the radio?

I am searching for this old movie I watched with my father a very long time ago when I was about 5 it was in the 90's is when I watched it. This lady goes looking for her sister and somehow winds up at this mansion where there is a man. Somehow, i don't really remember much, she wakes up (she was drugged or something) and she is in this room, in bed, that looks like it is decorated in an older fashion. next to the bed is like a surgeons table with different instruments and she gets scared so you somehow finds this door behind the mirror and goes up the stairs, OF COURSE leaving the door open, and she sits on this trunk. She hears funny noises and opens up the trunk and finds her sisters dead body covered in rats. I am pretty sure they were twin sisters too.

Seen this movie about 18 years ago as a kid. It involved a family that moved into a haunted house. The attic dorr wouldnt stay closed and there was a hidden door in the attic that was nailed shut. One scene involved the nails popping out one at a time and a pool of blood disappearing from the attic floor. One more scene i recall is the father is in the front lawn mowing or checking the mail and as he looks up to the second story he sees the outline of a person standing in the window. I want to say that the audio didnt match the mouths so it may have been italian or from spain.

I saw a movie and it looked like it was made in the 60s or 70s. it was about some young people getting stuck somewhere. and there was this house where a crazy killer family lived. and they kill off the young people one by one. one girl got hung by a jump rope. one guy got thrown off a swing off a cliff. and one girl got her neck snapped. and one girl went crazy with the family. and she and the other crazy girl became friends. and the crazy girl gave the other girl a collection of dead bodies for her birthday. then later the girl became un crazy and killed the whole crazy family. she killed the son and the daughter by hitting them in the head with something. stabbed the mom in the eyes with her knitting needles. and the father got shot. i dont remember too much of this movie but the crazy son's name was woody(i think)

I've been looking for this film for years,I saw it on T.V,I remember it as being scary,it was a black and white movie set in a mansion where a nanny goes to take care of these two creepy children,a boy and a girl,at one point she see's a ghost of a woman across the pond...I think this was either the kids last nanny or there mother. Also remember something like, she leaves the house and goes to this cottage where she tells the story to these people and they said something about the house having burnt down years ago but i can't be 100% sure that was at the end of the same movie.

We rented a film on VHS in the 1980s that I believe was also made in the 80s. It was a period drama and involved a love triangle between two soldiers and a woman, and takes place in the English countryside. I think the time period was World War I but may have been World War II. The film ends with a climatic scene in which the two soldiers fight it out on one of those large English estate homes.

I am looking for the title of a movie (or multiple-part TV minseries?) that I saw in the late 1980s or early 1990s. It was in color and took place in the US. It was about the unsolved kidnapping and murder of several children in a small town. I remember the entire police force was involved in the investigation and I think it may have been a cop who did the murders. At the end of the film, the bodies of the children were found buried on the man's land. It had been quite some time since the first murder, because I remember the characters were all much older when the bodies were found. For some reason the word "fire" or "firefighter" keeps coming to mind, but since I watch way too much TV, I could be totally confused with something else.

1960's movie (might have been tv episode)about a teen girl who has a bad relationship with her Mother. She comes home late from school (possibly night classes)and gets mugged/raped and left behind bushes. Her life then changes...she leaves home and starts to work at a dime store. She eventually tries to jump from a bridge to commit suicide, but a man saves her. He takes her home to his apartment and then keeps her locked up when he realizes she will try again. He's an older man who is a factory worker or mechanic; he starts falling for her and she stays plays the wife (cooking, cleaning, etc.) but no sex. He then tries to kiss her one night when he's been drinking; she hits him in the face with something because the rape incident is still with her. Eventually they fall in love.I thought it had Tuesday Weld as the teen, but I can't find this movie listed for her.

Even the school seems to be controlled. At the end of the film, theres a beige building with lots of windows and circular stairs and the villain falls from a height onto a sharp, spiky metal or glass sculpture? I might be confusing some films and putting them together, or perhaps some tv programmes I saw when I was little?

I am looking for this film too! Definitely Disney (played on TV Wonderful World of Disney) in the late 1960's or early 1970's. Possibly includes Halley Mills in the cast, but not sure. They find the clue in the model ship's crows nest after a long and tiring search in the crows nest of an actual ship. The slip of paper is rolled up and inside the minature mast in the model ship's crows nest. A memorable film indeed

I have searched this website and thought I had found it with Mystery Mansion. Bought the movie and it was not it. So very similar to that movie. Our Dad taped it off of TV sometime before 1985. Between the two of us this is what we can remember: Three kids (brother, sister, and a friend?) I think the friend (who was the typical goofy friend) had a funny name like Tree. There is a big old house that an old hermit lives in. We remember he had a big white beard. Some how they find a treasure map or the old man has one. They search together for the treasure. The map has clues that lead to other clues. One clue was something to do with a crows nest. They realize it has to do with a crows nest on an old ship on the fireplace mantel. The clues lead them to a cellar and an old wine(?) barrel with a red "X" on it. It opens and leads them to a cave where they find the treasure. Meanwhile some bad people have caught on to what they are up to and follow them. They try and take the treasure. We think it might be an old Disney movie. We know it was on TV sometime after Tron was on TV because our Dad taped over the movie Tron with this movie.

This was on in the 80's on either HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, or TMC. It was a filmed stage performance. It was set on a theater stage but shot from the back. The back wall was the curtain out to where the actor's in-character audience would sit. Either side of the stage contained backstage inner workings with doorways and set pieces for the characters to enter into and out from. The plot, I think, was a bit of comedic murder mystery with lots of innuendo thrown in if I remember correctly... I appreciate any thoughts...

There is a movie I seen a year ago and it was on HBO or showtime late at night and I only seen the last 15 mins of the movie. It had a rebelious teenager who storms out of a classroom and some people are in a hallway and tell him a guy named Muldune or Muldoon is "gonna kick your ass" and the teen goes into a different classroom and gets into a big fight with the Muldoon character but it doesn't show you the fight and he wins the fight. Apparently they were fighting because the teen liked Muldoon's girlfriend. Later on he is at a 7-11 type gas station where Muldoon and his hallway friends come to pick a fight with him and Muldoon stabs him in the stomach with a knife and the teen lays on the pavement and they hallway guys say something like "how do you like that you frisbee chucker". Later on, after the teen is out of the hospital, it shows him with the girl and he says she said that she loved him but thinks it will never work out and then he goes to the an ice cream truck to get ice cream and then it's the end of the movie.

I am looking for a movie from the 80's about a boy that gets lost in the mountains. Something makes me remember that in the beginning he is at a train station to go to his grandfather's house. The grandfather gave him a puzzle toy. The toy is two horseshoes that are chained together with a metal ring around the chain. the object of the puzzle is to get the ring off. I don't know if the boy gets chased in the beginning, but he somehow ends up in the mountains lost. Through the movie he is chased by these two guys. I remember the end where he is holding on to a rope that is across two mountains, and one of the "bad guys" is holding onto the ring from the puzzle toy. The ring of course comes off and the "bad guy" falls. the boy is rescued at the end of the movie. He is dressed in makeshift mountain clothes and when the helicopter rescues him he is not talking anymore.

I recall a TV movie that I think was shown during the 70's. It ended with a chain-reaction car crash on a busy freeway/highway. It was similar to the theatrical disaster movies of the era, with many simultaneous individual story lines and characters. Each of them were either in the vehicles that crashed or were connected to someone who was. I believe the movie was shown on a Friday night, back when TV movies appeared on weeknights. I can't think of any actors who were in the movie, but I believe there were a few who were appearing in TV series at the time.

A young girl in her late teens to early 20's goes to stay with her rich friend in the country. Country not known. She comes across a park/gardens filled with stone statues. In the center of this park/garden is a huge rock/statue and as per usual every so many years a carnival of freaks come out of the statue, headed by two brothers one being good the other naturally bad. The good one is a werewolf and obviously she falls in love with him. Both brothers are identical, tanned, handsome, white billowing shirts and leather trousers. One could be called stefan. One of the freaks is of a large build and seems to be the 'strong man' along with a multitude of others. The good one (the werewolf) is under a curse so that he may never love. However there is a scene where he makes love to her as the werewolf.Possibly an 80's colour film seen in the UK on terrestrial tv in the early 90's.

I saw this movie in about 1990 or so on a rental. There was a family that moved into this new town and in their house there is like an evil grandfather clock that causes evil i'm pretty sure. The evil could have gone past the clock but i'm not sure but throughout the movie it keeps having closeups of this clock. The teenage boy starts having strange things start happening to him, but the only thing i can remember is that he is listening behind a door that his mom, dad, and sister are having dinner in the dining room and it's normal conversation until the dad says something and then you hear people getting aroused and start having sex, so the boy is like "wtf is going on in there" and opens the door really quick but he comes in to find his family just eating at the table like normal and ask him what's wrong and he says nothings wrong. The other thing I remember from the movie is the dad is outside taking out the trash perhaps when 1 or 2 dogs (dovermins??) run after him and he runs down the street and there is a gate that he tries to jump over and then dogs tear him down from the gate and are biting him. The next scene has him coming back in his house with a hurt leg. In the ending I think the boy smashes the grandfather clock and everything gets restored back to normal.

I saw this movie on tv when in about 1990-1994. It was like an alice in wonderland story. It may even be another story of the old cartoon. But this one seemed darker. The only thing i remember is the end. This girl runs into her house and no one is home. She's calling out for her mom and dad and no one answers. She thinks she's just had a terrible dream, like alice in wonderland. Suddenly she turns around and something dark comes at her and I think she screams and it's over.

I saw this movie in about 1990-94 on tv. it was a movie my parents rented or something. All I remember is a bunch of people go into this house and they are just looking around for some reason. I think because it's an older house and they are just looking for something to do and to scare the girls they were with. They are a group of high school jocks and the type of girls that jocks date. There is one guy who is fat who is wearing a pig nose mask and he snorts like a pig. I beleive that he somehow gets possessed when he goes somewhere else in the house by himself. Then some girl goes off by herself also, maybe to look for the fat guy, and he jumps out at her and attacks her while snorting like a pig with the mask on.

A young boy and I believe his sister go to live with his relatives(aunt or uncle?). I think it is a psychological thriller because I remember feeling really creeped out by it. The young boy begins to see a dead person floating in the pond from an upstairs window. I think he tries to tell people but noone believes him. The only other thing I remember is at the end a dark tall figure of a man standing or coming through the door.

I saw this movie on TV in the late 80s or early 90s--it involved a possessed house that attacked the family inside. (I know it's not among the first three Amityville movies, as I've seen them already, but haven't been able to track down any of the rest in local rental stores.) I'm not sure that it was made for TV, as several scenes were relatively graphic in 80s terms. I particularly remember that the house loosened a screw/nail from an appliance or wall, and that the screw flew into the forehead of one of the male characters, but I don't think it killed him. I also believe that some of the appliances themselves came alive. There may have been a scene involving an unplugged garbage disposal turning itself on, but I'm worried that I may be conflating two movie plots--the one I'm looking for definitely had the screw/nail attack.

I am not sure of the old show (1965 to 1980) I saw the movie on or actualy the name of the movie. I am sorry but still, maybe you can help me. It was a horror show and at the end of the movie it shows Anthony Perkins I believe, to bury a heart in a very shallow grave and the dirt throbs and vibrates to the rythym of the heart beating once it has been burried. The dirt goes kathunk,kathunk,kthunk,etc..... every time the heart beats the dirt rises and lowers with each heartbeat. This is the sean at the end of the movie. This black & white horror film has a sequence in it that's the only part I can remember: someone is walking down wide stps - like in an old mansion - behind a dark-haired boy. Suddenly the boy turns around and he looks possessed. His face is demonic and the main detail I remember is that his hair is suddely all sticking up, as if he's put his finger in an electric socket. The person behind him (I remember it as first person/ through your own eyes) is terrified and runs back up the stairs to the landing. I seem to remember a vase being knocked off a plinth, falling and smashing in the lower hall. The person running hides under a table at the top of the stairs and the possessed boy slowly stalks up the stairs. I'm remembering him with a knife at this stage. As he reaches the top of the stairs he continues walking for a couple of steps, as if he's no idea that the person is hiding under a nearby table, but then, suddenly, his head whips round and he looks straight at the camera/victim - caught!

I remember seeing this movie when I was about seven years old. I remember it being on very late, and I watched it with my father( who can't remember). This movie has plagued me for years. I have always thought about it and it drives me crazy noone knows what it is. It was possibly set in the 1970's or Early 1980's. All I remember is there is a creepy limo driver, a decrepid woman or man in a bed in a house or a mansion. There is this couple that ends up there and for some reason they can not leave. Every time they go to leave, the driveway goes in to a circle and they end right back at the house. There is also a scene where the woman gets a ring from the old decrepid person, and she can not get it off. I think she might even cut her finger off. I rented BURNT OFFERINGS and that wasn't it.

I am sorry to say I dont Have any real info on the film I am looking for but...it is a horror film I saw several times on channel 5 an 13 in L.A. when I was a child in the 70'sThe film must have been from the 60's and I belive I have seen it in color once.It is about a painter, typical bad 60's artist goatee, who is rich or at least has a large studio.Women keep disapearing through the story and at the end the hook is played. The artist/villian has been stuffing or covering the women in wax or something in order to make them posable and keep their bodies fresh so that he may pose them for a painting. My most vivid memory of this film is a seen with half nude women posed infront of a dramatic firey sky backdrop either on rocks or a fake ship, I was a young child. The women are posed holding weapons ie bows and arrows possibly a spear , very volkerie like. The villian may be killed at the end when an arrow slips from a models fingers and hits him in the chest or i may be confusing this part with a twilight zone / outerlimits.

i am looking for an old horror movie which i assume was anywhere from the 40ies till the 60ies because of its style. it could be an american or english movie as well as one of the classical italian or spanish horror flicks.it's a color film starring a man and a brunette or black-haired woman. the man tries to keep the beauty and the youth of the woman (maybe he's kind of a mad scientist?) although she's getting older and older. in the end the woman becomes kind of a green-faced zombie and she melts and finally dies. everything that remains is her grave and a mummy-like moldered body.maybe it is the horrible dr. hichcock, but i just could not get any copy of this film to prove that.

I'm looking for a movie that is from the early-mid 70's. The details I recall revolve around 3 woung women who either win a trip or go on vacation to this remote hotel on a beach. The hotel is run by an elderly couple with a young son in his 20's (who's kind of a Jethro type knucklehead). There's a scene of the son walking along the beach with a shark that he caught. Ultimately, we learn that the elderly couple are cannibals and that they kill their guests and cook them. The end of the movie finds the elderly couple dead in a walk-in freezer and the Jethro character marrying one of the surviving guests.

Roughly 1969, TV movie. Basic idea is a family (father, mother, baby) moving into a house on a farm. Something to do with pentagrams on the floor of the baby's room that offers protection? Scene in child's room where mother struggles through wind in the house to reach bedroom & crib to get to her baby. There is a fruit cellar scene where the contents of the bottled fruit? moves. That scene in particular has haunted me for over 30 years.

I am looking for a black&white movie, which I saw around 1995 on German TV, the film itself was a theatre movie from 1950s/1960s. I think the movie is well known. The movie title is composed of a repitition of a female name like "Louise, Louise". The plot is the following: a woman drives in a car with other persons, in an accident the car falls off a bridge and everybody is dead except for this one woman. Afterwards, she is somewhat haunted by the dead - it's not too drastic, more subtle. She herself does not seem to be too sure if she is going out of her mind or if the supernatural is real. She is somehow in contact about this with a police officer, who does not believe her. The scene in the end I remember best, it's set on a beach, and the police officer inspects footsteps in the sand. The haunted womand had called him to come to the beach and to his astonishment he can see her footsteps, others coming to hers and then, all footsteps end without explanation. I think the explanation was, that the woman should have died in the car accident and the others already killed came to get her.

I am looking for a film that was possibly Disney, but was on TV in the 70's. I think I saw it more than once. The main thing I remember was a man and a couple trying to help another woman move out of her apartment or escape or something. (Possibly in China town?) One man (who reminds me of Fred MacMurray) waits in the car,(I think a convertible), smoking a pipe and gets shot in the neck by a blow dart by a "spy" (He reminds me of James Coburn in "Our Man Flint.") He gets "frozen" and when the other three come back from the apartment, they have to move him into the back seat and he's stuck in the seated position with the pipe in his mouth.

I am looking for a horror/thriller film from the late 90's or early 2000's. I think it is set in the UK or somewhere in europe and a guy moves to a house in the city with his wife and daughter. The doorbell rings one night and his daughter goes missing. He starts searching for her and the clues to he abduction seem to be tied in with signs hidden in churches around the city that were all built by teh same architect (like some kind of map or something). Anyway it turns out that young girls are being snatched by some crazy old lady and her son who are disciples of the devil and take blood from the girls to give themselves eternal life. I remember four scenes vividly, one is a bunch of little girls being hidden in a basket in a church, the second is where the father notices that there is a car parked across from his house (where the girl has been snatched from) and he runs towards the car to confront the driver but they drive away before he can get to them, the third is the father and an older man looking for clues and coming across an old abandoned building which turns out to have been a church before with a sign of the pentacost on the floor, the third is the father tracing the clues until he gets to the building where the mother and son live and they knock him unconscious and put him on a table to have his blood drained. When he comes to and tries to escape he's very weak (this is towards the end of the movie).

The movie i am trying to get the name of was probably made in the 80's or early 90's. It was in color. The first part of the movie i can remember was that this lady maybe in her mid 30's lived in a house on top of a cliff the ocean was below the cliff). I guess her daughter or son was either killed or died from an illness. She kidnapped a little boy but it could have been a girl. The kid was laying on a bed in one of the rooms and the woman had lit candles all around the room. I know the kid was trying to get away. The next part of the movie i can remember was that the woman and kid were at the cliff it was night time. I think the woman was trying to push him off the ledge but didnt suceed. Then, either the little kid pushed her off the ledge or she fell. i can remember that after she was pushed off the ledge or fell off she became a ghost and her spirit joined her daughters spirit in the sky. For some reason i think there was a killer trying to attack the kid and the woman wasnt trying to harm the kid just protect him....but i am not quite sure. i remember that earlier in the movie the kid was in a car and there was someone trying to get to him and he locked all the car doors. But i am not quite sure of that part too..

Hello- This film is similar to a Jane Austen/Charlotte Bronte type film. Concerns 18th or 19th social class structure in England. Early on in the film, the father is on his deathbed, surrounded by his wife and daughters. They discover, or else he tells them, that they are nearly destitute, and/or the fortune they thought they had is gone. The daughters must make their own way in the world. It is not unlike Pride and Prejudice, except there is no father. Little Women is in the wrong country. Mr. March doesn't die, anyway. Seeing "Being Jane" inspired me to look.

I am fairly sure I saw this in or around 1992 on tv--I want to say the Disney Channel. It was in color. It was about the civil rights movement, but I don't remember the state. The only scene I really remember is several black men and boys carrying a casket on their shoulders(for some reason I think they carried it near a public pool where whites were swimming?) and they were saying "ashes to ashes, dust to dust. we hate to ____ it down but we must, we must." I've tried googling that phrase, but to no avail. I think the main character was a black boy around 10-13- and he had some sort of friendship with a white person. In the scene I remember, I think he was helping carry the casket (pine box I think), and looking out of the corner of his eye to the people he knew that were at the pool.

I saw this film when I was probably 6 or seven, which was around 1976 or 1977. It involved a young man who lived in a mansion. There was a weird room in the mansion that noone was permitted in. It was a room with an evil legacy. Upon entering the room, the young man first went insane, and he was pulled from the room. He was determined, however, as he believed that conquering whatever challenge was in that room, and discovering it's secret would lead to knowledge or immortality or something. The room killed him, but he basically came back from the dead, and was invulnerable and immortal. He recruited followers who would also be invulnerable and immortal, but they had to commit suicide, and they had to have faith that they would survive. There were scenes of people committing suicide and returning, and living it up and partying and having a good time, becuase there were no consequences. One scene involved a man schackled and chained throwing himself into a lake, another involved a young woman hanging herself from a tree, but laughing because she had already survived the ritual of suicide. In the end, the love interest of the original young man, who he had been pressuring to take this step, and who had been refused, had become surrounded in a graveyard by the youngman and some of his co-horts. They handed her a knife and were basically commanding her to commit suicide. She refused, and they all turned to pillars of stone. And that was the legend about how these pillars got into the graveyard.

I'm looking for the title of a color film that I watched at a drive-in back in the 70's, possibly the early 80s. These teens/college students go to a cabin in the woods, and the weather gets bad due to a 'spirit'. While seeking shelter in the cabin from the weather, they tell each other short scary stories. The storm (which is actually this spirit) gets closer, sounding like a rollercoaster and kills most of the teens/college students, except two. There was one part where they knocked a lady out, cut off her legs at the knees, and then woke her up and she had to look down and see her legs cut off. I have a memory of a young man in a blue suit and with a haircut that I think might be from the 60's or 70's (I am not at all sure about the last point). I think the spoken language is Italian or French, but I'm not sure. The only scene I remember from the film is a foggy graveyard (the young man is possibly there...) where you can hear the voices of the dead people arguing. It's a very silly argument, gossip, etc. Furthermore I believe it's in some way about a city, and the people who live there. I remember watching several, if not all (sadly), of the FACES OF DEATH movies one weekend back in middle school (mid-90's). These movies were awful. Anyway, on one of the VHS tapes we got, there was this ridiculous trailer for a blaxploitation-esque film. It featured a lot of KKK action, lots of violence, lots of angry black men, burning crosses... I remember being way more disturbed by this trailer than by any of the footage in the four FACES OF DEATH movies. I don't recall the name, but I am 99.9% positive that it was NOT a trailer for the film FIGHT FOR YOUR LIFE, which some friends have suggested to me. Any ideas? It looked to be a pretty low-budget color film from the 70's, and this VHS was released some time in the late 80's or early 90's. Perhaps it was a film released by the same company that was putting out the FACES OF DEATH tapes back then.

In elementary school in the 70's, the school showed us a black and white civil war film about two brothers. The film begins and ends with a man being hanged on a bridge. The film is a flash back to the brothers' lives. In the end, you see one of the Northern soldiers doing the hanging is the brother of the Confederate soldier being hanged. The start of the movie shows a guy about to be hanged from a bridge over a river, but the rope breaks and the man falls into the river. He is able to untie his hands and swims away as the military guys are shooting at him. The rest of the movie is about him trying to get home to his family and flash backs of his life. At the end, he just returns home and sees his wife in the yard and is running towards her, but before he can get to her, his head snaps back and he is hanging from the bridge. It was all a day dream between the time they hung him and he dies. It was set during the time of the civil war. It was shown on a movie reel in classrooms in the early 70s. I dont remember much talking, it was mostly visual.

In the 1970's I lived in Southern Indiana. Late at night, one of the local TV stations from Terre Haute, Indiana would play a short film (maybe a minute or two) before going off the air. In the film a Native American man (boy?) chases a horse across the Great Plains. The horse has a Spanish saddle and maybe other Spanish gear (like a helmet). At the end of the film, the man catches the horse. Obviously, the film was trying to show a fictionalized account of one of the first captures of a horse by a North American. I don't think the film is silent, but I don't recall any dialoge.

Kids are searching around an old burned down mansion and end up helping a ghost girl and somehow end up in the mansion back in time when it was new- victorian era I think. There is a nasty spoiled girl who is engaged to someone who lives in the mansion. Her mother is the housekeeper there - always dressed in rags - and causes all kinds of trouble. Near the end the old mansion burns and the children end up back in present day. An old man pulls up in a horse and carriage. The kids recognize him from when they were back in time. He gives them something and leaves. There may have been something to do with a necklace or an old photograph that made them go back in time.

I am looking for a film that I watched about five years ago. I believe it was made in the 60's or 70's. It was in color and might have been subtitled. I remember a young woman spending time at a nice hotel. I think it was sometime after WWII and she was a concentration camp survivor. One day, at the hotel she sees a man who used to torture her at the camp. There are several flashbacks about the torture and I got the feeling that the man was attracted to her. Instead of informing the police or, at the least running from him, she seems awed by him and follows him around. At one point they come face-to-face (he might have pulled her into his room). I think he slaps her around, but ther seemed to be a sexual feel to the scene, as if she hated him, but was attracted to him at the same time.

this film is from the 70'-80', in colour. It's about a pregnant woman that befriends a family in a park, she delivers her baby in their home and then vanishes, leaving the baby behind. The family decides to "adopt" this baby and, when put in the cot, he kills the family's own baby. It all seems an accident, but as the years go by, one by one, this child murders all the siblings. When the father realises this, he tries to stop him from killing the only one of his children that is still alive, but arrives too late and witnesses how the evil boy pushes his son through a window. The wife pleads with the husband to not kill the murderer, as now it's the only child she has left. Towards the end of the film you see the dad talking to a friend about all this in a park and across the lake he spots the same woman from the beginning of the film, pregnant again, approaching another family.

i'm pretty sure the movie is black and white, and it had the feel of a 50's schlock science fiction production. i remember watching it on television probably 40 years ago, which puts the tv showing in the 1960s. towards the end of the movie, the main characters are held in an industrial building, with lots of pipes going across the ceiling, maybe a refinery. aliens were involved, and may have taken over human beings or taken their form. one or two of the humans agreed to help the aliens and were led away. later there were screams, and a liquid, identified as blood, seeps from the overhead pipes, indicating the turncoats were simply mashed into the tubes and killed. at the very end, one or two tanks - refinery tanks? - explode or break open, and giant aliens are seen standing there.

Result: Overexposed (1990) A Catherine Oxenberg thriller. Thanx Mrretsim. Aug 24, 2007

I think this movie is from the early 90's, maybe late 80's... it was more of a "suspense" horror movie, and the only part I really remember was a girl at a birthday party holding a candle behind her back, and her hair caught fire. She ended up being extremely burnt on her face/head and I believed stalked the girl whose birthday party it was so she could kill her.

Result: Slaughter High (1986) featuring no one of consequence aside from an appearance by the legendary Carolyn Munro. with Simon Scuddamore Thanx Midnight Creeper, Alli. Aug 16, 2007

The movie I am looking for I saw on HBO somewhere between 1984-1990. It was in color and I believe I remember it being about a high school reunion where only a few of the people got the letters to come to the abandoned school, it wasn't an entire returning class. There was a guy there that I guess was the nerd when they were in school and there was a scene where they are dunking his head into a toilet and it actually shows his private parts. Then I believe he turns out to be the one killing or scaring people. (I do know it isn't Horror High-that was what I always thought it was called but when looking it up, I don't remember anyone turning into a monster)

I am looking for a movie that was in black and white. All I can remember is there is a little girl in the attic talking to herself in two different voices. She uses her normal voice and then responds with a deeper voice. At the end she dies in a boating accident and then they find out she is a boy

Result: Amityville: The Evil Escapes (1989) (TV) with Patty Duke. Thanx Alli, Killer Croc. Aug 20, 2007

I'm looking for the title of a movie from either the very late 70's or the early to mid 80's. It's about a family that moves into a new house (either suburban or countryside) and find a strange painting in the attic. From what I remember, the painting is possessed and starts to harm the family or anyone in the house it chooses. The two solid scenes from the movie that I remember are 1) a man starts sticking his hand down the garbage disposal, all the while the switch for the disposal starts trying to flip itself into the ON position despite the fact that it's taped down. And 2) A woman friend of the family (possibly a neighbor) cuts her finger on the frame of the painting and over the next few days or weeks, she starts dying and nobody can figure out why.

a) it was in colourb) it was scary for 2 10yr old girls to watch alone at 2am in 1990c) it was an old film, very grainy - but then, we were in the country so the tv reception may have been the reason for that...here are the scenes that i recall and no, its not Rosemary’s Baby.Little girl walking along a hallway with a red ball bouncing next to here slowly and a voice-over in a womans voice, hauntingly saying, linda, lindaaaa, linda, lindaaaaaa. (i think this scene was a flashback memory for the girl in the movie)20+ female, goes for a bath in this really old mansion place. bathroom is all steamed up and she pulls the curtain back and steps into the bath – straight onto an old dead guys head in the bottom of the bathsame chick is being chased by a 30yr old guy and half hunchbacked old woman with a black bandana thing like what old italian grandmothers wear. they chase her into a room where she locks the door.through the keyhole, the old woman can see her and in this witchy voice says – i can see youuuuuuu.. the girl stands with her back to the door and stabs a nail file through the keyhole into the womans eye

Thanx Midnight Creeper. Sep 7, 2007

I am looking for a horror/thriller film from the late 90's or early 2000's. I think it is set in the UK or somewhere in europe and a guy moves to a house in the city with his wife and daughter. The doorbell rings one night and his daughter goes missing. He starts searching for her and the clues to he abduction seem to be tied in with signs hidden in churches around the city. (like some kind of map or something).
