I am looking for a movie maybe made in the mid to late 1980's about a group of students that go to a mansion to clean it and someone goes into the basement and opens a hatch type door and finds the devil. This unleases a fury on all of the students and of course they die. The film is american but looks like it takes place in the country. The devil is an over weight known actor with a mustache and beard.

Hi, OMG I'm going crazy trying to find this movie. Me and a friend of mine snuck out of bed during sleepover at her house to watch it, in about 1995 the movie was scarry and it was older I'm sure. My vivid memories are of a watertower, A man...maybe a surgeon who had a collection of hands in a fridge, also this fridge was in a basement where he had a girl/woman trapped down there. She had cuts or her hands were tied on at her wrists or somthing, and she played the piano....can't remember if by choice. also she was wearing a white nightgown or dress I'm sure. The other thing I can remember is that she was able to escape by crawling out of the small basement window. OHH i get chills thinking about it, I wonder if its as scarry as i remember.

I saw a movie when I was a child, it was on TV probably around the mid 1980s, it involved a family where it is discovered that one of the daughters is a witch. The only scene I remember well involvesone of the daughters in a dark room developing a picture of her sister with a group of people and she discovers something odd about the photo, I think her witch sister used to wear sunglasses when people took her photo.

I saw this slasher film back in the 80's or early 90's. It was an American film, color. It took place in a highschool, where students were being killed by being chased around the classrooms with a chainsaw. Every time the killer was going to murder someone a very loud rock song would play. After every murder, a trail of blood could be seen from a mop that the killer would drag in the hallway. I also remember a sex scene that happened at a guy's house where him and a girl had sexit on the kitchen floor. At the end it turns out that the school principal was the killer and even had the school janitor keep the skulls of the dead students placed on poles and were placed as if they were in a classroom. I believe it ends with the school catching on fire and two students survive, I think a guy and a girl.

Someone was killed and the body was hidden in the bath. After the shooting the police was alrmed and knocking on the door. I thought her friend has stolen some money from the mob. Something with a bloodspot on a carpet which they were trying to hide. In the end her friend was killed bij her and she got away with the money. The atmosphere of this movie was breathtaking. Oh there was i thought an other woman which she had contact with through the telephone in the apartment next to her's. Long shot. I saw part of this film in the early 90's. It may have been black and white. I think it was French subtitled. Anyway, it was a murder mystery involving a girl's school. There was what everyone thinks is a murder by drowning in the pond in front of the school.

I'm looking for a movie that I saw in 1979 at school so I suspect it was made prior to then. The plot goes like this. A family living in the back woods loses both parents to a disease and then tries to hide it from the authorities so that they can all stay together. The brains for the siblings is the second oldest daughter who is kind of running the show even though she has an older sister. She forms a scheme to have an eligible bachelor in town marry her so the family can stay together but he is actually in love with the older sister who winds up marrying him. I thought it starred Jodi Foster but I can't find any trance of her doing a movie like this.

My parents took me to a drive-in to see a horror movie between 1970-1979. I believe it was closer to the mid-1970's. The plot centered around a family, and inheritance and an old house (mansion). There was this creepy portrait above a fireplace that had eyes that would pop out to reveal someone looking at the family members through the portrait. Strange things happened to the family members. One member (a guy) wore a suit that became tighter and tighter eventualy killing him. I believe at the end of the movie someone discovered a way to get behind the fireplace and found the inheritance.

This movie is most likly from HBO or cinimax I was pretty young so I'm guessing the year to be from 1980-1985. The movie starts with a woman lying face down in the bed of a wealthy older man. They are talking and she claims to know him, then she rolls over and her face is a skull the man startled falls backward and out of a window. As it turns out the man and 2 or 3 of his buddies were in love with the woman 50 years earlier and in an argument between them all she falls and hits her head. Thinking she is dead they loaded her in a car and drove it into a lake. As the car is goig into the lake the woman wakes up and starts to pound on the back glass of the car but its too late to get her out and she drowns. Fast forward 50 years and she is killing each of the men one by one. At the end of the movie the last man survives after confessing to the crime and pulling the car and her body out of the lake. If my memory serves me right it was sown in a double feature the second movie was about a womans ghost in a lake or pond behind a house some people bought.

I seen a movie that I really liked. I did not have a lot of blood and guts but it was scary. There was a doll house that was an exact replica of a house furniture, people and all. There was a whole family that was murdered in the house and was never solved. Several years latter a family member came back and found the doll house in the attic and put the people back in the doll house. The doll house then started to have a mind of its own and started to reenact what had happen to the family that got murder in the house.

the time period for this movie was around the late 80's. all i can remember is a group of army reservists in the back of a truck going down a dirt road to where they were going to have their weekend training. one guy bets the other he cant jump out of the truck and beat it on foot. He jumps out and cuts across some woods and cathes truck and jumps back in it. they reach their destination and i think they start digging and some how awaken some civil war ghosts or zombies or something that then attack them.

I,m trying to locate a film I watched in early to mid 1970s on British TV. I cant remember much about it other than at different points throughout the film it flashed to a male character that was in a bed and who progressively throughout the film had limbs amputated, until there was only his torso left. I'm looking for the title of a film that I saw as a young child back in the very late 70's or very early 80's. The movie involved a teenage boy and girl, during winter. They were driving along a remote road in a VW Beetle I believe, when the car went off the road. The girl had a little, white dog with her. They were stuck out in the woods for a while, ended up burning the insides of the car in a fire to stay warm. The boy left the girl and the dog at one point to go search for food and civilization, but to no avail. When the boy came back, a pack of wolves had followed him back to the car. The little, white dog attempted to defend the couple, but the wolves killed it and ate it. I believe the couple was finally rescued.

i'm looking for a movie i saw when i was really little, not exactly sure of my age, but i probably saw it between the years of 1994-1998 ish (i was 4-8 years old). It's a color movie, i'm not sure of the country, but i don't remember an accent of any kind, so maybe US. i saw in on my tv at home, and i'm not sure if we rented it, or borrowed it, or if it was on tv... I don't know any of the character's names, but it follows the lives of two little girls, probably sisters. when they are little, they had like a greenhouse or enclosed plant-growing part of their house. they would go into this room and they each had a bowl. they put in leaves and petals of different plants and flowers that were all qualities of the man they wanted to marry. one of the girls put a blue and green part of a plant in for her future husband's eyes. she wanted them two different colors. there was also a bug, that had a distinct noise or clicking sound, and if you heard or saw it, it meant that your husband was going to die. when the girls are all grown up, she is with her husband in their bedroom, and she hears the noise that the bug makes and realizes it's coming from under the wood floors in their room. so she gets a hammer and starts tearing up the floor trying to find the bug to kill it.

I have been trying forever to figure out the name of this film, but no luck. I saw it probably more than 20 years ago. I think it might have been made mid to late 60s or early 70s. It had that "look" about it. I keep wanting to think Gayle Hunnicut was in it, but I checked her filmography and didn't find anything close to what I was looking for, so maybe I am wrong. Anyway, the plot of the film is that of a young couple who are driving to their new home and have a car accident along the way. They get themselves back together and finish the journey to the house. Upon settling in they start noticing strange things and seeing strange people who are dressed in clothing of an earlier period. They come to believe that the house they now occupy is haunted and that the people they are seeing are ghosts. In the end, they (and we) learn that the couple actually died in the earlier car accident and that they are, in fact, the ghosts and are haunting those people that they were seeing from that earlier period in time.

This movie was a made for t.v. from either the late 80's or early 90's. It's in color. I believe one of the main characters was David Dukes, but I am not certain of this. Anyway there are these two high school friends, one of whom is named Amanda. She is gorgeous with blond hair. Her friends father becomes obsessed with her and Amanda sleeps with him. She tries to get rid of him, but he ends up in her car towards the end of the movie and strangles her.

When I was little (early 90s) I watched a movie about two kids who go underground to try and stop trolls from taking over their land. I know there is a princess involved and it is kind of a fantasy scifi film thing. They have to stomp on the trolls feet to get away from them. They figure out that they have to sing a song to kill them.

I am trying to find a movie that I believe is from the 80's and is a romantic comedy. All I can remember is a car that things keep going wrong and falling apart and that what I believe is the end the guy is trying to get to the girl and he gets to a house that is crooked and seperated from the front steps. I want to say the that the main guy character was a big name and is still a big name today and that the house in the movie was either blue or gray. and that the guy may have been trudging through water but I could be mistaken on that fact.

This film was shown on disney channel around the year 2000. Was in colour. Was set in a hot country, think was either america or australia. Was about an alien girl and her family who landed on earth. The blonde alien girl starts school and befriends other kids. I rememeber her having to take some sort of vitamin tablets so they wouldnt get ill. There are other kids in the school who dont like her and find out that she is an alien. The endings pretty sad where they have to say goodbye and leave on the space ship.

This was a movie seen on TV sometime between 1975 and 1980. I am not sure when it was made but it did not seem to be a 1945 movie. I recognised the actresses of the time (1970's) but I don't remember their names now. It was a colour movie. The show was about female helicopter pilots during WWII. The premise of the movie was that the government could not spare any male pilots to test pilot these new machines(helicopters) so women pilots were drafted to test them. The women were sent overseas to join the men and I only remember a few scenes. The first was in a bar where a male pilot was trying to get a female pilot (unbeknownst to him) to sleep with him by feeding her nonsense about flying upon which she told him off. The other scene is one where three men are rescued and taken on the helicopter through mountain ravines etc, when they arrive at their destination they begin to talk to the pilot and discover that the pilot is a female. I'm not sure but I think there is a love story in there somewhere.

Hi, I saw a film on tv back in the 80's I think it was about a film maker who's wife was an actress and played in a love scene in one of his movies. She is "satisfied" by the actor in the scene and struggles with wanting to have sex with him again. That's about all I remember about the movie it was in color.

I am looking for a movie that was on HBO(I think in 1980). It was about 2 girls who take over a man's house and eventually kill him, put his head in a fish tank. At the end of the movie, they are walking up a hill in the middle of the road and a truck comes over the hill and that is the end of the movie. I remember watching it when i was quite young, so that would be about 10-15 years ago. It was a cartoon style film and all i remember was a sorcerer or wizard in Aabian costume (I remember his feet going down steps to an underground cave or land wearing turned up shoes) and him appearing over a little boys head that he got to collect the jewels and gems from a apple /fruit tree, with the gems as the fruit. And he also has outstretched wiggly fingers when he was thinking or casting a spell. The small boy had black hair and possibly a little hat.

The film was made fairly recently, there was a trailer online.It was Italian I think, and appears to be about a group of film makers making an Italian science fiction film. The trailer featured fantastic looking effects, very modern in terms of technique, but with a lovely retro 1960's look.

It's set in the African desert or somewhere like that, and this white man is being chased for some reason. I only saw the last half. People are throwing spears at him, and trying to kill him in any way possible, but this man keeps running and running. Finally, he stops somewhere, and the people chasing him shake his hand or go away or something. Like it was all part of some bet or game or something. From the 70s or 80s, color.

This is a movie I used to watch on VHS. It was color and I want to say it was made in the early 90s or late 80s. It is about some kids, an older brother, then a sister and then a younger brother and sister. They also have a dog. There mom dies in the begining and they get split up and put into a home. So they break out and go back to their home and take the car and run away to find there rich uncle. Along the way they have adventures with stealing and it has a happy ending. i remeber the VHS box was orangeish colored.

I'm looking for the name of what I think was a made-for-tv movie, in the 70s. It was in color, set in the seventies in an inner-city black neighborhood in some American big city. It is possible it was a PBS special, made for young people as an audience.The main character was a lonely young black boy who tried to stay "good" amongst the neighborhood hoodlum kids. He found a black and white cat, and came to love it. Later in the movie, the cat got killed. At the very end, the boy was presented somehow (can't remember) with a kitten which looked exactly like the cat he had lost.

This is a black-and-white film from the 1950's or early 1960's. The beginning of the film shows a man and woman arguing with each other. After a few moments, the man gets ready to leave. As he does so, a deformed man comes out from behind a curtain and attacks the other man. They fight for a few moments, and then the deformed man manages to pin down the other man to the floor. As the man lies pinned to the floor, the deformed man takes a vile of acid from his pocket and pours it onto the other man's face. The woman--who is watching the whole thing--starts to laugh when the acid is poured onto the man's face, and then says "good, good," several times before the scene ends.

I feel like this movie is from the 70's or 80's, and the only thing I remember from it is that there is a boy on the cover of the box with his tongue being pulled out and I think it is going to be electrocuted as some sort of torture. It looks very demonic. I think this is one of the main scenes of the film.

OK, I hope you can help me. I saw this movie sometime around 1974-1978. I was 5 or 6 at the time so details may be sketchy. This was an old Mummy film...sorry to say that I watched on a Black & White TV...so I can only assume it was in B&W. All I can remember was that these people disturbed the Mummy's tomb & took a jeweled necklace, which the Mummy wanted back & there were cats...lot of them. Every time the Mummy was around, a cat was sure to follow. Infact, the last scene in the movie, and I am sure of this, ended with the Mummy getting the jewel back and DOZENS of cats attacked the Mummy & destroyed it...at least I think they destroyed it. The cats were hanging all over him. I rememeber this so well because at the time I loved this movie & I saw it more than once. It wasn't a comedy...definately a horror flick.

i am desperately looking for a film i saw about ten years ago ('97) in some cinema-cafe.i hope someone can help me out, as the things i remember from it are very scarce.i remember it has something to do with some sort of a dysfunctional relationship between mother and child (daughter)? i remember the lady (short hair, white face) coming down a staircase wearing a white sleeping gown and the child is sitting in a room to the side of it.. so, the mother comes down, halts, turns her head towards the child and gazes in the direction of the child with a scary, piercing look and sort of beady eyes (there's a close-up of this shot). i can't seem to remember any spoken words, i don't even think anything was said in this particular scene.it could be anything from the 70's to the early 90's.. the scene was well visible, it wasn't shot in twilight or dark or something, neutral colors.. mostly white, i guess.the handling of the camera was very "perpendicular". you see a straight shot of the room, and the scary lady just walks into the view, turns her head and stares right into the camera, which is the opposite room, where the kid sits/stands. she acts a bit zombie-like, could be a mental condition or something. the overall atmosphere is somewhat ominous, yet serene. it's a slow scene. i'm not sure, but it seemed as though the kid was somewhere she wasn't supposed to be, or awake while she was supposed to be sleeping or something, but i'm also sure the lady doesn't say a word to her.

I watched a film a few years ago on the TV about a teenage adopted girl who wants to find her real family. Her and her best friend (who is a boy) are driving one day and they drive past a house with people out side all with the same ginger hair as her and similar features. Her friend convinces her to talk to this family and as it turns out she is part of them but... she also finds out she was kidnapped by her adopted parents. As the film goes on she starts to remember the kidnapping: it was in a shopping center and she had wandered off from her birth parents and her adopted mother held out her and hand and took the girl home with her.

I don't know any of the characters....I also don't know any of the acters....all i know is the movie was made around mid to late eighties...there were two of them...the second one was made in the early ninties....but in the first one....there is this young boy who gets this device from either his scientist father or scientist friend and the device has this white pearl in the middle....i think the father/scientist died in the first one and thats how the boy got the invention....anyways he gets into some trouble in an alley and puts the device on his head and it turns him into some sort of superhero with that pearl in the middle of his head and an all black suit...he has knives coming out of his elbows and he sees his reflection and it turns him back to normal thats all i know about the first one.....on the second one....he gets into it with these aliens and the aliens end up ripping the pearl out of his head....somehow the alien swallows the damn pearl....and he (the black superhero) comes ripping out of the aliens stomach...he ends up killing a few of them and he eventually has to face the master (this really big dragon) but its an old man in the origiinal form..to make a long story short he eventually kills the dragon and meets with his woman...i was about 8-10 when i saw it on the sci-fi channel that was around 93-95

In the late eighties (87-89), I saw a film on HBO about a woman searching for a husband (who I believe was kidnapped) in a strange fantasy type land. I believe the land was populated by creatures who had human bodies but animal heads, some of the animal heads were those of a crocodile's or alligators.

I am looking for a movie that was on tv between 80-86 and I can only remember that it was about a blonde/brunette headed girl who had a sheepdog. At some point in the movie the house she was living in burned down killing her and the dog. A boy finds her casket in a barn and it has her picture and the picture of her dog on it. They were encapsulated together. At some point after the house burned down the ghost of the girl and the dog go floating across the burned out balcony of the house. I saw this movie on tv and my family remembers it too but no one can remember the name. I don't know if it was a Disney Sunday night movie but it was on tv around the time they were still doing the disney tv movies. This was a film I saw on the TCM channel I think in early 2007. I think it was an older movie, but it was in colour. It was a musical comedy about a very strange man who seemed sligtly crazy. He was a soldier during World War II I think, and he was in love with a nurse. He was out fighting with his troop when he got in trouble somehow and was locked up in a makeshift jail. He escaped that jail without meaning to, then got captured by the Japanese, and escaped the Japanese camp with all the Japanese soldiers now his prisoners. The only other thing I can remember is that he had a strange musical dream sequence where he was singing in a field of women dressed like trees or something.

1980's early 90's, i watched as a child and remember thinking it was scary, even though it could have been because i was little. could be a movie, or made for tv movie - about a boy looking for his "real"sister. his little sister (around 6 yrs old) had been acting strange and he realizes that its not his real sister - his real sister is in some fantasy world, possibly sleeping in a glass case, or protected by some fantasy type creature. 1 scene i remember clearly, is the boy is watching tv and looks up at a family portrait and is looking at the sister and thinking there is something wrong. i want to say that they live in an apartment building and to get to his real sister he doesnt have to go far - somewhere in the building. in color, in english. not labrynth, or time bandits,

I am looking for a fantasy/science fiction sort of movie (color). I believe it was made for tv, because I watched it over 3 nights on tv. It was probably around 1997. I think it may have been produced by the BBC but I am not sure. It centers around this creepy, wierd castle - things don't make sense. The king dies, he leaves behind a daughter. The main character is a boy that works in the kitchens. It features these creepy twin sisters that are the sisters to the king. They end up walking together into the lake to die. Very fantasy. The kitchen boy sneaks out to see the princess.

My friends and I are frantically looking for a film that I think may have a 70's film. The Plot: teen girl with long dark hair lives with a family. Someone becomes suspicious of her and finds the house where she used to live with her biological family(?). The inside is covered with cob webs and the furniture is covered by sheets. They remove one of the sheets from the bed and find a male and female skeleton. The presumption, she murdered her previous family and this was going to happen to the new family.

I saw this movie in the late seventies or early eighties. Its about a virus (I believe) and when the people fell asleep they die (their body kind of explodes or something terrible). so a group of people are forced to live together in order to survive, protecting each other from falling asleep.

I cannot remember when this movie (or perhaps TV show) was from. However, I am 22 so it was likely within the last 10 years. I can remember one scene.A father and child (son or daughter I don't know, though I think son) are at a public pool. The child is sitting on the edge of the pool and the father is at their feet (in the pool). I think they're talking about how long the father can hold his breath underwater. The father says something to the effect of "I bet I can..." or "Let's see..." and then goes underwater. When he comes back up his kid is gone. I think that the kid drops something in the water when they're kidnapped. The father gets out of the pool and starts looking around for the kid.

This is a Laurel and Hardy short film I think.Somehow the hapless pair end up on a yacht with an escaped convict who demands food. The cupboards are bare. So Oliver tells Stan to prepare a meal from what they can find in the kitchen galley. String then doubles up as spaghetti, paint is used for tomato sauce. They make biscuits out of scouring powder and meatballs from sponge( i think). Un beknown to them the convict is watching them happily prepare the meal through a spy hole in the wall, when the present the meal to him, he makes them eat it at gun/knife point. Oliver struggles , but Stan is eating and crying at the same time. This must be the funniest comedy moment of all time. There are so many L and H films. I dont know where to start looking.

Please help me find the movie title as I have tried all avenues I kept thinking it was called something like Do you remember me? or Please Remember Me? I also thought it starred River Phonix or Corey Haim but my own searches have not proved this. The movie was watched on TV by me and my mother around 1995 and 2000 I cant remember how old I was I know I was in high school. I believe it was based on a true story and a real tear jerker. It is in colour. It is about a boy who was kidnapped when he was only a toddler and then adopted by a very wealthy couple who did not know he was a kidnap victim but paid quite a lot of money for his adoption anyway. I think it was on his day of graduation or monumental birthday 16 or 18 that his addopted parents found out that he was a kidnap victim and told him about the adoption and kidnap. He read about the kidnap and decided to go to his hometown thereby finding his true family who although have not forgotten him have decided to let go. His birth family consist of still both parents living and happily married together with his brother who was very close to the same age as him and was with him in the families front yard siting on a blanket the day of his kidnap and a younger sister born after his kidnap. Long story short he lives with them for quite some time just getting to know them wondering whether he should tell them who he is - he eventually told them and was torn between being with the family he has always known or being with the family he became to know. I cannot remember what is final decision was .

I remember this sci-fi movie in the eighties, all I can remember is a man walking around and not finding anyone. I remember clothes being everywhere and everyone seemed to be missing. Then either that man or another man has a dream within a dream within a dream. He keeps waking up and walking to a bathroom and in the mirror see's his face changing. He wakes up and is a dream, then does it again and wakes up from that dream. That freaked me out as a child. I don't know much more but at the end a group of people who must have survived whatever it was that took the people, where in an empty city. A blonde girl walks through a red light and says "who is out here" or something on that sort. Then a goodlooking man pulls up in a sports car and she hops in and they drive away.

I think this is a 1980's movie, saw it on TV in 1996-ish(??)...I don't remember it being a OuterLimits-style TV episode/movie...was too modernish, but I could be wrong.It is kinda like that Kurt Russell (the male is someone LIKE Kurt Russell, if not Kurt Russell) movie where he is a Military Commander of some sort who gets "suspended" during an all out global war, only to be awaken in a world that has only women...no men...they "all got killed in the war" and women have carried on (nothing Xena about this movie..it is VERY female..logical..progressive). Women now settle disputes with other "cities/communities" by negotiation until Kurt shows up and convinces the women of his community that they need more electricity to advance their community and that the community that supplies the electricity is not dealing with them fairly so his women's community should just TAKE the electricty by force. The some women end up following his advice, it ends up where there is a battle, a couple of women get killed, the Community Council meets and agrees that Kurt needs to be put back in his Capsule and suspended again, he fights it...seems that other communities have found a total of 5 other men...they have either been killed or returned to "suspension"...and in the end the head of the Council is sitting next to him in the capsule, he berates her as not having any humanity left, no compassion to love...and the camera zooms into the necklace she is wearing which bares half of the emblem that matches the other half of which Kurt wears...she is very old...she looks at him and says he will never understand....lid to capsule closes and he yells curses and she bows her head, drops one tear...or something like that...that is what I remember it is close to. Also, in the movie there is an element where the Male-lead ends up seducing some of the younger women and this causes their alliance to him as they have never had sexual relations with a man.

I believe the movie was from the 40's; but, I saw it on TV many years ago. It was a comedy. Here is what I vaguely remember about the plot. A man dies or is killed and goes to heaven. He is then sent back to earth -- I think to solve the crime or right the wrong. Also sent back to earth to help him are some animals. I remember one of the animals is a horse. When the horse descends the golden ramp back to earth, the horse suddenly turns into a woman. In one scene (back on earth) when the woman wants to ride the bus and it pulls away before she can reach it, she runs so fast (like a horse) and catches up to the bus. The bus driver is shocked the woman could outrun the bus.

I remember seeing this film on TV back around 95-96, but can't remember what it's called. It's a British film about a girl whose father dies & then she becomes a target of bullying from another girl in her school. The bully girl comes from a poor background. Her mother, who's an alcoholic or a prostitute or something, ignores her & treats her like dirt. Bullying scenes are prominent this movie. In one scene I remember the victim girl being pushed down a flight of stairs. The movie ends when the victim girl is visiting her father's grave and is followed by the bully girl, who had broken into the victim girl's house and stole her Dad's clothes (which she's now wearing). Seeing this, the victim girl finally fights back by pushing the bully girl into an open grave and throwing rocks at her. It turns out the reason the bully girl is picking on the victim girl is because she's jealous of the attention she's been getting and the fact she comes from a loving home (as opposed to the bully girl's home life.

Me and my sister watched this movie and I believe I was 7 or 8 which would make it about 1993 or 94'. The most that i can remember is a little boy... unfortunatly no name... around 5 or 6 tho. I remember a specific sceen where the boy goes into his closet, and the mom or dad follows him. Then the closet turns into a cave and the little boy is sitting on some steps in the cave with his head facing down. When the parent gets close enough the boy looks at him/her and his face has turned into a little evil gremlin looking thing. After that I can't remember much. There is also a very short sceen with a light bright toy is sitting on a dresser/ desk and the window is behind it, and the light bright's picture changes into a demon or something. This movie scared the Crap out of me and my sister and had nightmares til I was 12!

I remember watching a horror film in the 80's that still to this day sticks in my mind when I'm driving along dark country roads. The film was in colour and set in England. I can't remember any of the actors but it was hired from our local video shop.All I can remember is a car driving along a dark country road and the headlights picking out a creature on the side of the road. It was almost like a large sausage dog and seemed to be standing on its knuckles which was the really spooky bit for some reason! Anyway the driver of the car swerved off the road to avoid it and got out of the car to investigate. Whilst he was looking in the undergrowth the creature crept into the back seat of his car only to attack him when he returned and was driving along back home.The only other bit that sticks in my memory is the creature hiding behind a settee in a house and creeping out and attacking some of the family.

i moved in the year 2000 and between then and 2003 i saw a film on sky movie all i can remember is little boys on horses riding the police come and take the horse of them they go home and tell their dads.there dads go and smash up the police cars or vans then i remember the boys are growen up i think they die one by one. one dies on the back of a horse hanging were a lorry scares the horse and one of them die riding a horse across a motorway i am not sure but i think they were pikeys as it reminds me a bit like snatch i also remember they snatch a mobil phone from a kid as he is leaveing a shop and they jump in a car a speed

The movie takes place on what I remember being somehting like a plantation with a grandmother and her granddaughter. She really controlling and bosses the little girl around, and there is a nanny with short brown hair, like a pixie cut who is really good with the little girl. In one scene the nanny goes out to a bar and meets a guy who likes her blush or lipstick or something. The little girl however burns herself with cigarettes or matches while the nanny is out and she gets fired. and last scene i remember is the nanny driving away in car.

There was a movie that used to run on HBO all the time in the mid-80s. It was very similar to Romancing the Stone; a beautiful female novelist goes to Africa and gets in a jam. But in this movie, somehow the main character from the novelist's books has come to life and saves her. He is a dashing, action adventure type, similar to Indiana Jones. At some point in the movie, a burgundy colored Land Rover or other type of SUV is dropped from a plane via parachute, and the hero refers to it as "Huey the wonder car" or something like that. The vehicle has machine guns that pop out of compartments on the sides and maybe some small missles. There is also a sidekick character who is reminiscent of Q from the James Bond franchise, but this guy is a tall skinny nerd with glasses and a thick moustache.

Made in the last 10 years and seen on TVMain character is a man who after having his wife and son murdered visits the murderer in jail to find he is insane, he later travels to the murder's house to find a collection Satanic books which talk of predicting deaths and time limits (apologies for the sketchy memory). He develops an ability to predict deaths via white halos above the heads of those which are close to dying but those he manages to save become demonically possesed and after three days begin killing innocent people. I think there is a love interest with a nurse and a scientist friend attempts to help him. He tries then to kill those that he saved and ends with him killing himself.

I can remember watching a horror film back in the mid 1980's on VHS rental (1984-86) about a huge worm type-creature burrowing through a network of caves. I remember seeing a film when I was a kid on british tv around about 1981 but I guarantee it was probably earlier than that. I most definately believe that it was a horror tilogy (3 in one short stories). The one that sticks out the most was about this couple who have an only child, who take him to the sea side and whilst they are there, they lose him and he goes missing. Not long after they return home believing the kid to have drown. Sometime after, the wife is at home while the husband is away on business, it is a stormy night and someone knocks on the door, the mother answers it and she sees it is her son (I think his name is Johnny, I could be wrong), she cant believe it and brings him in and cleans him up. She is delighted, until he starts to say strange things, asking her why she left him to drown ect, he then says he wants to play a game of hide and seek and starts to chase her around the house with a knife, she runs to the top of the stairs only to see a shadow of Johnny at the top of the stairs, she falls down the stairs and cannot move, Johnny starts to make his way down the stairs slowly in the shadows, his mum says "why are you doing this Johnny", Johnny then says "Johnny couldnt come, so he sent me" then this hideous deformed head with seaweed coming out of it appears. Please tell me what this trilogy was, as I wish to purchase it. I have already purchased "Trilogy of Terror" with Karen Black, but it was not that one.
