I saw it when i was very young back in the early 80's. On TV, in color, but back when color was kinda crappy. From my recolection the images that stand out in my mind are a dark setting, but not night, probably just after sunset or maybe even very early morning, very foggy, somthing like a vermont, maybe even out in the woods of the UK a kind of wooded area. The setting seemed a bit 60's maybe even 50's and A house that seemed a bit large to be a normal house, maybe a small mansion type house. The only scene i remember that stickes in my head is a small boy either hiding from someone or being forced into what seemed like a wood stove or like a wierd fireplace. a very small boy probably about 8yrs at most kinda paleish. I feel like for some reason this stove thing was up on a second floor balcony.

This is a black and white movie I think its from the 1960's (black and white). a young girl accidently picks up the phone in her aunts pub ( or her mums) and has conversations with a man with a sexy voice and begins and is attracted to him. From that point he phones back and she has some over the phone romance with him. You never see the man's face but he is phoning from a telephone box. I think she is warned but in the end she finds out where he is phoning from and secretly goes to spy on the mystery caller. She is repulsed by what she see( the audience never see him).It is quite an ordinary film , but it did frighten me when I saw it, due to the mystery and never seeing the man's face .

Result: House Of The Dead (1978) aka Alien Zone. Anthology movie. Thanx Alli. Mar 9, 2007

Was a made for TV movie and was in color. Had to be from 1970 to 1983 and it appeared more than once on channel 43 in north-east Ohio on the saturday afternoon movie.I believe it was an anthology since I can remember two segments that did not seem linked in any way but were in the same movie. The first one was a business man on his way to a job interview and he passes a hobo who wanted change and he puts him down about getting a job. He than enters this building for his job interview and it looks abadoned but he enters through a door and it is shut behind him. Now he is tormented in this room, by having the walls with spikes close in on him but stop before killing him. Bottles of booze are slid to him under a door and he drinks them. A few days have gone by and he is released through a side door back into the world and he looks much like the hobo in the beginning, a dirty suit, unclean and unshaven. He walks out to the street and he also asks another business man for change and that man rebukes him about getting a job, before THAT business man enters the same building he did.The other segment , my memory is sketchy at best, but it involved what looked like a birthday party for kids and they wore masks and a woman was showering and the kids came into the bathroom but they seemed more like demons because of themasks they had on and it appeared they were coming to eat the woman with their cake encrusted hands reaching for her.

This is a camping slasher flick I saw when I was a kid. I KNOW it isn't Friday the Thirteenth or Sleepaway Camp. My only memories are of two death scenes; one involving (I think a girl) jogging in the woods into a trap setup with sharp can tops flying out and cutting her. Also possibly razor wire/fishhooks, but I might be making that up. Definetly sharp can tops, (like tuna cans). The other scene is after someone gets killed, others are rafting (yellow raft?) and the killer flings the body out of the woods onto the raft. The "surprise" ending involves killing the killer, but then his crazy mother also being a killer. Something about a shack. End scene involves logs. Maybe the killer was crossdressing?

Result: Beast Of Blood (1971) Thanx Kim(poster). Mar 11, 2007

It is a horror movie I saw in the theater (low budget) in the late 60s or early 70s; a disembodied head movie (not The Thing That Wouldn't Die/Nor The Brain That Wouldn't Die/Nor The Head). In the movie, the talking head was decaying, really gross with the eyes bulging and the teeth protruding (the movie was in color). The head was sitting in a dish or bowl and being kept alive by an evil scientist or doctor. The head's decaying corpse was laying on an operating table near the head. The head was saying taunting things to the doctor/scientist. The decaying head willed the corpse to rise and strangle the doctor/scientist. Then the body and head went out into the woods. I believe it may have been dubbed; maybe Italian made or something. This is the only scene I remember over 40 years later.

This is probably a kids movie and for the longest time I swore up and down that this was part of The Wizard of Oz (but its obviously not) but the scene I remember distinctly had a witch chasing a girl (in my mind this is the wicked witch of the west and dorothy respectively, but obviously not) while riding an elephant and she quite sinisterly chants at the girl "Elephants Never Forget!" over and over again.

Result: Ghost Story (1973) Spare Parts" episode Thanx Midnight Creeper. Jul 13, 2007

This movie is from the late 80's early 90's. Either its a really convoluted story or its possibly an anthology movie. Eitherway its pretty weird. In the first bit that I remember this woman kills her rich husband by rerouting the exhaust from his car back into the car. Later in the movie the ghost of her husband (who is invisible) puts the hose on the car to reroute the exhaust into the car so that she will die too. Then there is a bit where this couple moves into an apartment building where they have a housewarming, and I'm pretty sure they get this really ugly vase from an anonymous person (or its possible that it was in the apartment already, or they bought it themselves). Anyways, they try to get rid of it by throwing it down the garbage chute and it keeps coming back. Some weird stuff happens in the apartment and the woman blames it on the vase. Finally, the woman from the apartment (or if its another movie or anthology movie some other woman) is getting stalked by these two people (one is a sleazy guy the other is a sexually ambiguous rather fat person). I know at one point the fat one is chasing her with a car, and then in a store, except when the girl asks for help the shop keeper doesn't see the person. Later the fat person is chasing her dressed as a nurse (though in the past he/she was dressed as a male).

Result: Shadow Of The Hawk (1976) Starring Jan Michael Vincent Thanx Plissken. Apr 19, 2007

The movie was kind of an adventure/horror movie where this group of archeologists or something like that were on this mission to find some sort of native american (or possibly Aztec, Mayan, etc...) totem type creature. I remember a scene where I'm pretty sure they took peyote or were in a smoke house and were having hallucinations. Anyways, the totem thing kept getting seen looking at them across this river and it looked like a pile of old furs with bones and maybe a skull face. At the end of the movie they find the thing except its dead (I think, or just inanimate) and bring it back to the museum. The final scene is an eerie shot of the thing in a museum case. I'm pretty sure this is from the late 70's early 80's.

I saw this film in the 1970s/80s sorry I can't be more accurate. It was in colour, set in London England and I saw it on TV. It was about a reporter investigating a government conspiracy. The reporter decides to protect himself by sending the information he has gained to a friend / solicitor? The ending sees the reporter sitting in his flat. He puts a vinyl record on his record player (classical I think) and the door bell rings. He answers the door and the flat blows up the bomb being linked to the record player I presume. Next thing newspaper headlines show details of the government conspiracy after his death. I cannot recall the actors names I'm afraid it is the ending that sticks most in my mind.

I dont remember the exact year but I would have to guess early 80's. The movie was about a family and the mother goes upstairs to check on her child. She doesnt come back down and the father goes up to check on her. He finds they have both been abducted. The movie is him trying to find them along with the police. I believe the end of the movie is a chase scene between the police and the kidnappers with the mother and child in the car. They go off a bridge and the kidnappers, mother and child are all killed. I believe this was a made for TV movie. I remember seeing it on TV when I was a kid... I am now 36 years old. I would say late 70's to early 80's.

Third, someone gives a kid some boots that he can walk up walls with. but then he gets stuck going up a brick house.

I watched a movie around 1990-1993, it was rented by my parents so i watched it on video tape, it did seem quite modern for that time. It was in colour but i dont remember the name of the film or any of the actors, this is why i am not having much luck in finding this movie, so i hope you can help me.Near the beggining of the film, a man rushing to see his girlfriend who he is going to propose to, but gets ran over by a car on the way to the restaurant. He goes to heaven and pleads to go back to earth which the people agree to but he doesnt take the medicine which makes him go back into his same body at the same time as when he died, so we nect see him in a car not knowing who he was and he is a librarian. the film goes on and he meets a man who invites him for lunch at his house and when he goes round, the main character's old girlfriend is there and also a big tree in the back garden which he and his girlfriend planted as a shrub before he died and he starts to get flashbacks. They both eventually find out who he is and start their relationship again but then he starts to think about the other man and how he loved her and should have her because he is meant to be dead. It ends with the main character killing himself in a lorry/truck and then him being on a different weird planet.

For some reason I recall the boy's name being Kyle, though I could be completely mistaken on that.

There was a movie I saw on HBO in the late 70's or early 80's. The movie's setting would be chinese dynasty type setting. A lot of small villages and animal skin type clothing. It was about a young man on a quest for this book of knowledge located in some temple. His character had brownish blonde shoulder length hair. On his quest for the temple, he visits a villages and meets a man that has been living in an oil jar for years. I remember the guy made a comment about his legs and other parts shrinking to nothing. I believe it was Chinese and the plot was simple a woman in a very remote village was fed up with her husband for being so fertile that she gave him an ultimatum, go to the city and buy condoms or no more sex! The city was clearly an extremely long distance from village because the whole film was about his journey. That's all I can remember, except for that I thought the film was quirky and funny.

This was a movie based on a true story (I think) about a married couple who's young son (maybe 4 or 5 years old?) is mentally impaired and they help him become normal. One of the scenes I recall clearly is of the boy sitting and watching a dinner plate spin around the floor and waving his hands in the air until the plate stopped and then he would pick the plate up and do it again. The parents are determined to help him overcome his impairment and work with him tirelessly. He shows great improvement and then suffers some sort of setback and they have to start all over again. Their hard work pays off and he becomes completely normal. At the end we see a scene where he is a normal boy playing in the park with his parents and they encounter a family with an impaired child and the now normal boy asks his parents what is wrong with that kid. This was made in the early 80's or possibly late 70's.

I've watched a color TV film in the late 90's (the time of production must be late 80s or 90s) about a young girl living alone in a forest house, almost wild. She had a twin sister and a mother (who learned them how to talk a little bit), but then they both died: her mother of natural death, and her sister drowned in a lake by their house, while they were playing. The main action takes place about five years later, when the girl is already about 20 years old, and is discovered by a group of friends. One of them tries to make her talk again etc., but she can only remember a lullaby she used to sing to her sister (with some words like "don't cry, my little chick" or smth), and simple phrases like "You.. and me". In general, she behaves in a weird way, avoids communicating, and when this guy takes her to a city, she doesn't see anything unnatural in pulling her dress up(with no underwear, of course) and turning around, laughing, just because there were some men who paid attention to her. Moreover, the death of her twin keeps tormenting her.In the end, she falls in love with this guy, they stay in that house, she learns the language and meets his sister, who somehow reminds her of her own.

It involved a castle, and I'm not sure if the castle was haunted or a fantasy world, but it was very trippy and stuff kept happening to the people, but it seemed almost like it had slapstick humour, one scene that realy sticks out is a painting comes to life and theres a huge ship fighting a squid in it and the squid pulls the boy in and all the people watching (I think they were all drunk) see the boy in the painting. I am looking for the name of a movie that came out probably in the late seventies or early eighties. I remember it coming on tv all the time in the eighties. It is definitely not Rosemary's Baby. Anyway, all I could remember is a woman who kept having strange dreams about a child or child birthing. There was a scene, I suppose she was dreaming, with a doctor telling her that her biological was ticking. It seems like I remember her hiding/waking up in a closet. I think she kept hearing a baby crying throughout the movie. Toward the end of the movie, I think a nurse had her baby and was trying to take off with her child. It seems like the two women were struggling in a boat or maybe the nurse had a car and maybe crashed into the water or something.

This a thriller from the early 1970's. I think it was made for tv and in color. The story was about a boy who was killing people and making it look like an accident. The main one I remember is when he stopped by an elderly womans house while she was working in the yard. He did something to scare her and as she was trying to get away from him, she tripped and fell on her garden sheers. Her death looked like an accident. This wasn't "The Other" about the twins, but it was on TV around the same time(give or take a year). I think the elderly woman was his school teacher whom he wanted to get even with for embarrassing him at school.

I saw a B horror movie (grainy color) from the late 70s or early 80s that completely scarred me. I saw it on tv in NY on channel 11s "Saturday Matinee" line-up(possibly in '85). The only scene I remember is a woman with long brown hair and a green dress approaching the camera. Her face looked like it was possibly melting, an obscure white and brown mix. Her voice sounded almost robotic.

I saw this film in the mid to late 70's. It was a dark film maybe in colour. It may have starred Vincent Price, but I'm not sure. The setting is a huge mansion in the country. A little girl sees her dead mother's portrait bleeding. She tells her father what she saw but then looks at the portrait again and it is fine. I saw this on television so it could have been on "Outer Limits" or "Tale from the Darkside" or "Twilight Zone" because I would often sneak and watch t.v. in the hallway after bedtime.

i seen a film about 15 years ago, (i was around 8), it is an old film done in black and white, all i can remember is there is a girl in a wheelchair, and i think (can't be sure) she is rich. Anyway, everyone in her house are trying to make her go insane. I remember one scene where she goes into a room and all sorts of noises and stuff happen, i think she see's a ghost or something. Then she faints, when she wakes up, she tells her staff (servents and maids) of what she seen in the room, then they take her to the room and it's all clean as if nothing had happend. I think her staff or someone is trying to make her go insane. ANother scene that sticks out is there is a part where a wheelchair is at the edge of a cliff and someone pushes it off. I can't tell you a date for the film, but it's black and white and done in a sort of House on haunted hill (original) sorta style, mix with Alfred Hitchcock style.. it could be them. i have told my friends about it, and they seem to think it has something to do with Cats in the title...but they can't remember and i can't find anything coming up on the internet about cats..

I saw this suspense film on TV (the "Mid-Morning Movie" segment) when I was about 11 or 12, so that would make the viewing date around 1972 or 1973. For a long time I thought it starred Pamela Franklin but I can't find the movie among her titles. What I recall is that the main character, a young girl, comes home from school to find out from her older sister that their mother has died. Turns out a criminal has actually killed the mother. Possibly the villain is somehow tied to the older sister-- boyfriend maybe? Anyway, the end of the movie is what I recall. The killer gets trapped below stairs (basement?) when the young girl moves a huge heavy piece of furniture over the trap door. Movie ends with the killer banging on the trap door and no one is left in the room to hear him. Maybe the young girl leaves the house, knowing the killer will die. Or maybe she's going to call the police to come get him? Not sure. I can still see the corner of the piece of furniture just covering enough of the trap door so that the guy beneath can't open the trap to get out. I think this takes place in a beach house.

I'm looking for a film I watched on television in the mid-70s, probably on one of those Saturday evening "creature feature" programs. I'm pretty sure it was black and white, or an early color film, so might have been made before the 70s. It was a horror film about aliens with huge, bald, bulbous heads and long, sharp, pointy fingers - almost like thin knife blades. Part of the action takes place at a farmhouse, and there is a scene where one of the aliens kills a cow. I know that's not much to go on, but this movie scared the heck out of me so much that I hid under the dining room table, and it's driving me bonkers not to know the title. This is a long shot, but I thought I'd try, since I've Googled everything I can think of with no luck.

I'm looking for a movie that i saw on tv around 1975 - 1977 ? I belive it was called Seven Witches.I think the movie was british. The plot as far as i can remember was about a motorcycle gang in which their leader kills himself but then comes back to life and can never die again. At firt they don't belive it's true but he convinces them that if they kill themselves and belive, they'le be just like him. All the members do it and it works. Except for one guy. At the last second he has doubts. so when he dies, he never comes back to life. These seven member turn out to become very evil and terrorise the local towns. At the end of the movie, someone figures out some kind of spell and the seven witches end up turning to stone forever. I know it sounds like a corny movie but as a kid it scared the crap out of me. Can anyone find info on this movie.

I'm looking for the name of a color movie from the early 80s (maybe late 70s). I only remember certain parts about the movie but not the actual plotline. The film is set on a dusty ranch or a farm of some kind in the middle of the summer. The main charachter is a dark-haired boy, maybe 10-12 years old, incredibly precocious. I remember he is running some kind of underground bingo game in his basement to make money (maybe to save the farm) and all the neighborhood kids pay money to come play. He wears a visor and calls the bingo numbers as he pulls them from the bingo spinner thing. The boy has a bunch of sisters and he and all of them wear jeans and western type shirts the whole movie. I don't remember seeing any parents in the movie but at some point some cops or welfare people get suspicious and are sent down to the farm to check in on them. They, the boy and his sisters develop this elaborate plan and pretend they are a poor family living in the barn. The oldest sister pretends she is pregnant and leads them around the barn and pretends her sisters are her kids. That's about all I remember. There may be a scene in the beginning with the oldest sister riding a horse. And one of the sisters is not much younger than the main boy and has braids. I think they end up developing their own business of some kind selling the manure from the farm and making a lot of money.

I saw it in theatre, Late 90's-Early 2000 so i'm guessing its not a very old movie. I remember two sisters? i believe they were sisters, if not then they were best friends. One a brunette one a blonde. I remember int the beginning they are at some public place, maybe a club, I'm not sure but there was a guy and I think the blonde had some kind of attraction to him I dont remember how. Then i remember the blonde ends up going completely insane over something, I wanna say over a guy but I dont know for sure. Then I think towards the end I remember the blonde on the floor maybe having a seizure or hearing voices or something then at the end i remember they show the yard and there is someone barried under the ground, and I think it might be the blonde's boyfriend or something. Throughout the movie I'm pretty sure the brunette was normal and trying to help the blonde. Someone told me they thought it was "Sisters" but that movie seems to old because i searched it on google and in that movie the brunette was insane. I know for a fact that the blonde was the crazy one. And it was farely new. It was in color, I'm pretty possitive.

I would like to know the name of a movie I saw on tv (not a made for tv movie)in color with a disturbing ending. I cannot remember too many details, only that the ending involved a man on a boat who was doomed to die on that boat because, if I recall correctly, there was no way to get him off the boat without killing him. A male friend (possibly a former adversary?)was there at the end watching helplessly. It was most likely made in the 1950's or 1960's. For some reason I thought Tony Curtis was in it, but I can't seem to find it when I look through information about Cutis' films. I don't even remember if the man was left to die or if he was mercifully killed quickly - I'm leaning toward the latter.

I'm looking for a movie I saw in a drive-in theatre in 1977, I think. A rich man has died, and the heirs are gathered around his casket in his home. He has hidden his wealth, and they search for it. He talks to them (a ghostly voice just happens--I think it's a tape, but they don't know it) and tells them what to do. One by one they disappear (maybe die?). When there's only one left, the disembodied voice tells him the money is hidden in the stone tomb/vault attached to the house, but when he goes to get it, the door closes behind him, and he is trapped. Somehow it's his greed that made him get trapped. I remember this as very funny, but it might not have been comedy. I also have a vague memory that the ghost may have been named Charlie.

I'm looking for a TV movie I saw a long time ago. I think it was in the 90's on USA? It's about three strangers who appear trapped in a house. None of them know each other or how they got into the house. Then an 'angel' appears and tells them that they all died today, but there's been a backup/mistake in heaven and they will need to stay in house until things get worked out. The last thing he says before he leaves is that one of the 'mistakes' was one of them will get their life back, but they will have to decide who that will be. The rest of the movie follows the three strangers as they get to know each other more and argue over who should get to 'go back'. In the end, they decide that the older of the two women should go back and the other two embrace heaven by walking into a light with the angel. There are only four actors in the entire film. (two male and two female) I know that one of the men has short, curly blond hair and plays a very angry character.

This is a film I believe I saw in the early 70s. It has haunted me for many years now, and has hit that stage where I can't remember if it was a movie or a dream.I believe it must have been a childrens film, and this is what I remember: It begins with a boy waking in his bedroom and to find a largem strange machine there, like a big computer with a door in it. When he puts part of his body through the door, it comes out on the other side as animated. He after some trepidation, he finally steps through the door into an animated world. For some reason I think this world is on the seabed, but I may be wrong. The next thing I remember is that in the distance he hear's this chant "Guilty guilty guilty guilty..." and it's getting gradually louder. He looks up to see a strange policeman, speeding towards him, with a flashing light on his head, and perhaps a wheel instead of legs. Then he is accused of something and arrested. There then follows an animated adventure. At the end, all is resolved and the policeman is seen speeding away chanting the "Innocent Innocent Innocent Innocent etc"Then the boy re-enters his room, goes to bed, wakes up and the machine is not there.

I thought that the two boys in the movie were Cory Feldman and Corey Haim but I have looked up all of their movies and none of them are the ones. All I really remember is that the two boys were into something they shouldn't be with some really bad people. One of the boys had a girlfriend and they snuck her out of her bedroom window, they were dressed really nice and they went and got married. Her parents if I remember forbid her to see this boy and she did it anyways and got married with out them knowing and they were going to run away together. Something happened and she ended up getting shot and he snuck her back into her room, it was night time. I remember he really loved her. Their clothes they wore in the movie makes me think it was either a movie made and set in the late 80's or early 90's and it is in color. It is set in the USA but I can't remember the names of any of the character's.

I've look at the found pages, and two movies sort of sound like this movie. Either "The Children", "Village of the Damned" or something else. Essentially there are a bunch of children that have glowing red eyes that electrocute people in a farmland community. When they electrocute people with their hands, the people turn into instant skeletons. And then there is an ever present chord that continuously plays when they do this, like two consecutive piano keys unharmoniously being played together, may have been strings. I'm thinking this is a 1980s film. I don't remember black finger nails and the summaries for "The Children" never mention red eyes. So this is where the confusion is present.

Ok, I'm looking for a colour film from the late 70's or early 80's, I'm 95% sure it's an Australian or New Zealand film, about a women who is staying in a remote farmhouse with no phone, I think it's near the sea. The nearest phone box is a mile away. She jogs every day. As the movie progresses strange and scary things start to happen - she feel's she's being watched/stalked etc. One night she wakes up to see a spectral figure at the window. She thinks she's going crazy. Eventually I think it turns out to be some local weirdo, and in the middle of the night she has to run to the phone box to seek help. It's possibly called "the runner", or "the mile" or something like that. I've googled it to death but can't find it - it's been bugging me for years! I saw it on video arround 1988.

Ok, I believe this is a European film, possibly Italian, but it is difficult to remember because there was no real dialogue. Basically a guy goes into a phone box. The phone doesn't work and the door will not open. A lorry/van pulls up and two men lift the box onto the back and drive off without acknowledging the occupant. The rest of the film is a drive through the country, villages, towns etc whilst the man tries to get peoples attention. Eventually they deposit the phone box in a huge cavern where there are hundreds of other phone boxes with people in them in various degrees of decay. It should be boring but it is compulsive and ultimately really disturbing.

I saw this movie as young child in the late 1980s on Cinemax. It was one of those horror movies that they only showed when they did horror movie marathons. What I remember about it was that a family made up of a husband, wife and son moved back into their old house which they hadn't been in since their son was a small boy. He is now all grown up and almost 18. The reason they moved away in the first place had something to do with the boy having an imaginary friend who got him into big trouble. The imaginery friend is actually a demon or the devil who looks like a young boy about 12 years old dressed in I think a grey hooded sweatshirt. Upon returning to the house the son begins to see the young demon boy and he slowly starts doing stuff with him including killing people. No one but the son can see the demon boy. One scene in particular that I remember was that they strapped a woman into a torture chair which seperated in the back and a saw blade comes out and cuts here in half vertically. After she's dead the son and the demon boy are arguing about who should clean up the mess. With the camera only showing the shadow of what is going on the demon boy reaches into the remains of the woman and pulls out an arm or leg bone and holds it up to the son and says "wishbone for it?" The ending takes place in the basement of the house and I believe the son dies and the father fights with the demon who he can now see. The demon boy transforms into a creature with wings I think and the fight begins. I don't remember the rest of it. But the film seemed to have a moderate budget and nicely done for what they had to work with.

In the garden I'm pretty sure there was like a tomb, or a statue of some description, and at some point a hole appears next to it. This monster appears, it was taller than a normal man, but not overly huge. It had a satanic / pagan look about it, it stood upright and had wooly legs and hooves (kinda like a goats rear legs cus I think the knees bent the wrong way) I can't really remember much else, tho I remember the end credits showing the title of the film, and I'm pretty sure it was just one word, or "the *******"

But the daughter is away when he does, indeed, lapse into a coma. His other, greedy, self-centered children are there and arrange a hasty burial.Of course, he comes back and kills each of his children and their spouses (and here's the AWESOME catch) each according to their phobia. A preening handsome son, terrified of disfigurement, is dragged to death behind a horse. Another who is terrified of drowning is drowned.
