I know this is a hard one, but my Dad and I have been racking our brains for years trying to remember the title of this movie. I saw it back in the late 80's, it's in color, a US movie, and all I can remember is that this boy grew up living in the basement and you could hear him mumbling and whining through the floor vents, people somehow get inside the house and I believe they are killed, at the end the house is on fire and the mutant boy emerges on fire. It scared the crap outa me!

I saw this movie on the USA Network in the 80's. It's about a boy and girl (about 14+/- years old) in Europe. They are runaways or orphans. It seems they might have had a baby together. I have an image in my mine of a Black and White European country side with them living in a deserted farm house. Should be set in the 1920-40's

When the school suspects that the father has died they force her to become a maid at the school along with another young black girl. They live in the attic together, and clean the school while being alienated by the other girls at the school. It turns out the father has not dies, but has lost his vision and memory. Eventually he finds his way back to his daughter and they are reunited. The movie is colour came out some time in the 90's. I think it was a children's movie.

I saw this movie (color) on TV. It looked like either early nineties or late eighties. The language was English so it's American/Australian movie. It's a horror/comedy. Here's the plot. A bunch of teens are having a party and trying to hook up a very shy girl and a very shy guy. This doesn't work out well, but suddenly the Devil posseses the girl's body. The girl starts acting pretty rude and wild, seducing the guys in the group. After she has sex with them all that's left of the lover is a dried up corpse. There's also a hunter character, a funny detective-like guy who teams up with some of the teens trying to drive the devil out of the girl's body, while also being sort of in love with her. Most of the action is in the house where they started the party, but they also go to a restaraunt and there's a lot of funny flash-back to support the Hunter-Devil plot. There's also a sort of remote control the Hunter uses to jump between dimensions while searching for the devil.

60's or 70's movie (color). The movie is about a boy & girl (in love) who have a car crash. Her face is damaged and his leg is broke. The boy's mother pays for the girls face reconstruction if she will move to the west coast and never contact her son, then tells her son the girl died in the wreck. Eventually he ends up on the west coast as an architect, and at a party at her psychologist house, meeting her again but not knowing who she is (new face). Of course she knows who he is. Her and her doctor are now involved but she is still in love with her sweetheart. The boy also is walking with a cane. I think the movie was on abc late show or the afternoon million dollar movie. I saw this in the late 70's or early 80's.

my guess for this is The Invaders starring Roy Thinnes
Sometime in the late 60's or early 70's, I was allowed to watch a movie on TV and a specific scene has stuck with me over the years. The movie involved some kind of government agency. The aspect of the story that replays in my mind is when someone is shot, they place a pill like device on the body and the body disappears. I seem to recall that at least one of the shootouts takes place in an Arizona desert like environment. I'd love to know what the show/movie was to help fill in the gaps.

I saw the movie when was very young, probably grade school between 1981-1986. The father comes home to find his wife and daughter abducted. The most memorable thing about the film is that he has a tombstone on their grave that is HUGE and an exact replica of their house that they once lived in. He searches for them endlessly! Then in the end of the movie he is in Europe, maybe Italy and he meets this painter girl that looks exactly like his wife. For the longest time I thought it had Harrison Ford in it. But I checked out all his movies and the closest one is Frantic, and that's not it. The movie was in color on tv. The cemetary scene sticks out the most. All of the grave markers were life-size, like where someone famous is burried.

I'm looking for the title of a made-for-television film from 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985 (I doubt much later than that). I cannot remember which network, but it was a true-life story about a teenaged girl who is paralyzed. She wants to become a pilot and works toward fulfilling that dream. The focal point of my memory is this high school dance she goes to where the guy she likes "dances" with her by sitting in her chair. I think the lead actress was herself paralyzed, but I'm vague on her name.

A friend saw this movie on tv within the last year. A woman has a man remodel her apartment or condo and finds out that he has built hollow walls and has been stalking her from within them. There is a stained glass window with an eye on it that is shown several times. The blueprints of the remodel is how her friends find out that the inside of the condo is smaller than the ouside because of the hollow walls within. It is not Crawl Space or the movie with Gary Bussey.

The guy is in his bedroom and witnesses this ghost woman running through the door and her ghost husband stabs her and he jumps in between them and tries to save her . The ghost tells him she must reenact it over and over again and the human couple falls in love with the opposite sex member of the ghost couple and I know towards the end of the movie the human wife jumps out a window into her ghost mans arms and the ghost lady gets up as the man's wife. It was on HBO or cinemax and the actors in it were pretty well known I think but i dont remember their names.

I don't have much information at all but I really want to see this film again. It is a silent black and white film that wasn't very long. I saw it in my tv production class in high school in 1997, but it has to be older than that. It began with a man being hung and all of a sudden he breaks loose and escapes. He is running for awhile until he reaches a garden with a beautiful woman holding her arms out to hold him. As he reaches her you feel so happy for this man who escaped being hung when all of a sudden the screen changes quickly back to him being dropped from the pedestal where the film began. It turns out that everything before the escape was just in his own head.

I saw this film about 22 years ago ( I must have been 5 or 6 or 7 years old). Sorry I don't remember the exact year, but it was shown on local TV in Thailand, dubbed in Thai. I think it was a Hollwood movie from the 70's, posibly early 80's (perhaps a European film?). The story is about a mysterious woman who befriends a married couple and then leaves her daughter with them and disappears. The evil daughter grows up and starts getiing rid of the couple 's real kids by killing them one by one (out of jealousy) because she wants to be the family 's only child. She succeeds after the mother has a miscarriage and the father gets sick and becomes sterile and the couple can't have any more children. The last scene has the mysterious woman appear again. The father sees her in the crowd and tries to get to her, but she disappears again.

This movie I remember from the late 80's. I don't remember the title or the characters' names, but it was a stepfather who married a woman in a wheelchair, and he killed her by pushing her down the stairs. She had a daughter who started dating a boy that her deceased best friend used to date. It was a horror movie I guess. During the end, a woman who is the stepfather's girlfriend gets electrocuted. I remember the daughter's best friend was killed in car accident.

Made in the 80s, possibly early 90s...could have aired on the disney channel. A family moves into a big old house in a new town. All of the furniture is covered with white sheets. Eerie things happen. For instance, one night there is green footprints all over the livingroom and on the walls. The brother and sister go to a bookstore later and an old man tells them something about a "boogeyman" that lives in their house.
Result: Time Bandits Thanx Bob, Patricia, William.
I saw this movie (on TV, maybe it even was the series) when I ws about6 years old (could be less; i'm 16 now). It was about a boy who needed to kill some evil magician and somehow entered an enchanted world. I remember this one scene when he (and couple of his friends, I think dwarfs) came to a beach with a boat and when they landed they found out that there is somekind od glass wall so they could see the other side but they couldn't pass. I think that at the movie ending, boy killed the magician and returned to his house (that was surrounded by firemen) but he found out that it burned down and that his parents are dead.

Does anyone know of a movie that was probably from the late 70s early 80s, it was set in America and it was in color. The basic plot is a young couple move into an older home where they have to take care of an old woman who lives in the attic. The house starts to take them over. They try to leave but they cannot. The older woman in the attic MAY HAVE BEEN named Mrs. Alabaster, it was definitley mrs. something. There was a skinny guy with small round john lennon type glasses that drove a hearse. The house takes the energy from the young couple and rejuvenates itself and in the end the young woman assumes the role of the old woman in the attic. Like the house took her youth for itself.

Foreign movie, possibly French, with subtitles, seen on IFC around Halloween 2002. Horror style film where two young men in tennis style sweaters hold a family consisting of a husband, wife and young son hostage. All three members of the family eventually die: the son is shot, I can't remember how the father goes (I think he runs for it), and the wife is taken out to a lake, tied up, and pushed off a sailboat. The entire movie takes place in a single night, with one of the men being the agressor and taunting the family, while one of the men is more sympathetic and simply follows the agressor.
Result: Night Sins (1997) starring Harry Hamlin and Valerie Bertinelli. Thanx Marphisa.
I actually saw this entire movie on TV sometime in 1992-1993. I think that it may have been a made for TV movie. I can't remember the name or any of the character's names but I remember the basic plot and some important details. There were a string of murders in a small town. An investigator found that there were other murders in other nearby small towns which centerd around this certain town. The murders spanned for a number of years. At a certain point in the film, the investigator received calls from the killer which is I remember right either used a device to disguise voice or had a voice that could not be easily differentiated as male or femal. They eventually discover that the murders were done by a group of killers sort of like a club. Then they discover that the killers started when they were children. The main thing I remember was the great ending in which they got a hold of a film of a parade taken by one of the killers. The person filming was filming 2 or 3 boys who they had already identified as part of the killing group. The only one they hadn't caught yet was the one who was filming the camera. At the very end the one filming turns to a shopping window and you can see a very vague reflection of the person holding the movie camera. It is not clear enough to identify the person. The investigator then says something about the one behind the camera being the smartest one to never show his/her face (paraphrase). That is the end of the movie. I hope you can help with this one. I've talked to may people about this and no one can remember this at all.

I saw this movie as a young girl on T.V. (before cable) so late 1970's or early 1980's and I'm not sure if it was black or white. It was about a much older man who fall in love with a younger girl and what I do remember is that there is a dog who either gets hit by a car or has an accident and the girl wants him fixed which is what happened and the one line I do remember is the man is getting dressed and the young woman is in bed and he tell her he loves to watch her get undressed and she tells hims she loves to watch him dress. It was a wonderful love story strictly PG 13, but I remember missing the end and then for the life of me can't remember anything else about the movie.

I saw a film when I was around five or six which would be early to mid eighties. I think it was a film on TV but not 100% sure of that. I basically remember it was about a teenage girl who had gone missing years ago. The story was set near woodland and the girls mother who now lived alone was known by locals as being abit wierd. I remember one scene specifically. A group of people are looking at this old ladies house where the missing girl used to live and on the window the name ' Nerak ' is spelt. It turns out that the girls name was Karen and whoever wrote the name had written it from the inside of the house which obviously meant that it looked like nerak from the outside.

This movie was probably made in the late 1970s. A group of people arrive at an estate in the English countryside, and it turns out to be possessed home. Two pieces to the puzzle: 1) A young couple arrives at the estate in a motorcyle with a sidecar, dressed in 70's-style clothing 2)one of the visitors is swimming in the indoor pool and is killed by the glass ceiling that crashes in on him - that seemed to be the climax of the whole movie.

There was a cat horror movie shown on television in 2003 where a family moved in to a house where cats were living under the house and started attacking the family. One scene was when the father went to work and left the daughter and wife at home. The wife was painting and the cats started to attack. The little girl had to hide in the doll house outside. The movie ended where they moved out and in the end a baby kitten shows up.

I don't really remeber when I saw the film, but I do remember it was a colored cartoon. It started out with this blonde haired boy whose mother had just died. It was raining and he and his father were at the funeral. The boy started to cry, and his father placed his hand on the boy's shoulder. After that, I'm not sure what happens but I do remember one scene close to the end of the movie. The boy was helping these seals from being killed by this group of men, so he hid them in a cave. I remember the boy lived near an ocean. I saw the film on television, and the cartoon was set in the present day [around the '90's at the time]. I'm sorry I don't have that much info, good luck trying to find it!

Can't remember characters' or actors' names. Movie took place in the present which was probably around the 1980s or early 90s. Set in a major U.S. city and filmed in color. Saw it on a cable channel 10 or more years ago. The movie started with a woman running from some guys in an outdoor plaza area. She screams for help and 1 or 2 guys rescue her. The main guy takes her to his home. From there he and the woman encounter some strange things and people - mostly dealing with devil worship and the occult. Eventually, I believe, the girl is kidnapped and the guy sets out to find her. He is led to a beach where it looks like some ritual is going on. He sees the girl and goes to rescue her. Actually is a sacrifice taking place. The one to be sacrificed has to have come voluntarily. Since he came to rescue her, they can now use him as the sacrifice. The woman is part of the devil worshipping group and the whole thing has been a set-up. The final scene has the woman again running and screaming for help and we can see that another man will come to her rescue and become just another vicitm of this satanic group.

I saw this movie back in the 1980's/early 1990's so it was in color, and I remember that it was a Halloween Movie. I believe that i watched it on the Disney Channel, but I am not sure. All I can remember about it is that there was a Dracula guy and he could turn into a bat and he would fly into the window because somebody closed it. And I think that whole point of the movie is to help the Witch feel like she is important. And at the end of the movie there are two little kids and they tell the witch that she is their favorite Halloween character, or something and she feels better and she flys across the moon and saves Halloween.

I was a little kid when I saw this on TV, making it in the early 70's. It was a sci-fi film (TV show?), late 60's or early 70's. My TV was BW so don't know if it was color, but I assume it was. The scene that's stuck with me ('tis all I remember of the whole movie actually): The setting had a look/feel kind of like that the lobby of the space station in 2001--everything white and clean. A boy and dad(?) are being led around a space station (ship? futuristic complex?) by a "showing off the great technology" scientist/guide. At the beginning of the tour, the guide guy gives the boy some kind of marble-sized (little larger maybe) *sphere* made out of something space-agey (which makes the boy excited). He keeps it cupped in his hands during the tour. At the end of the tour, the boy remembers the marble/sphere and opens his hands to look at it, but *it has dissolved away*. The boy is surprised; the guide explains to him the 'why' behind this disappearing. I became a big sci-fi fan after seeing Star Wars, but what *this* film is has never come to light in all my watching sci-fi of that era (I saw it more than once so I know it's not a dream).
Result: Doorway To Death An episode of Ghost Story/Circle of Fear starring Susan Dey and Leif Garrett. Thanx Marphisa.
This is about mid-70's, and am pretty sure it's one of those *scary* TV movies from back then (or part of a short lived scary anthology series?). I believe the opening credit had some kind of spiral graphic to it, though I could be wrong/confused on that. Anyway, a small family (a young son and daughter and parents) moves into a house/apartment...and in a hidden part of their place (maybe an alternate dimension visible only to...) the children come across some kind of large, mute (ghost-ish?) *lumberjack looking guy* (weird, I know). At first the boy and girl kind of like him, but for whatever reason he soon reveals his true colors. The most memorable part is him *bricking up* the entrance way to his hidden area. He has either taken the parents and is bricking them in, or is maybe walling the children in -- I can't remember. I just remember the boy and girl are watching him laying down the bricks, they very upset/freaked, yelling at him not to do it. unfortunately I can remember nothing else specific except that I saw it more than once.

I saw a movie on tv (probably HBO) in the late 70's/early 80's, pretty sure it was in color. I don't think this type of film would have been shown on regular tv at the time. I remember a very rural "poor" setting, dense forests, possible set in the 1700's or 1800's??? A man and his beautiful young blond daughter ride their horses from their hut through the forest to..(take their wares into the village??) The girl somehow ends up with a beautiful vest/coat that she wants to show off...feeling very proud, beautiful. She ends up riding through the forest by herself, (to show off the vest/coat). 2 men see her and walk out from the woods and drag her off the horse. They take her deeper into the woods where they rape her and then kill her by hitting her with a large stone/log? Then the 2 men steal things from her and end up at her family's hut. Her parents invite the men inside to eat (?) and something catches the fathers eye..I think he sees the beautiful vest/coat in one of the mens bags. The last thing I remember is the look of realization on the father's face as he realizes they killed his daughter. The only other thing I remember is that the mood was very somber..I was a teenager then but remember thinking it could have been a foreign film.
Result: Goodbye Charlie (1960) also a 1985 remake.
I had seen a movie that was a comedy. It was about a womanizing playboy that had many girl friends at one time. His friend tried to warn him that it isn't nice to use these girls and brake their hearts. He had a nice barchelor pad. It was only for romantic nights with the girls. He would even try to get his friend to lie for him and make this friend think he was doing the girls a favor. One day he took out his sports car, I believe in the rain, arounded a corner on the hilly roads of California. He crashed and died. Everyone went to his funeral. His best friend went back to the bachelor pad very sad. I believe on his way there or after he arrived, he and someone found a nake girl walking up the hill and she had no memory of who or where she was. The friend took her in and tried to help her. After she slept she started to remember everything. She was the playboy that died in the car. At first she acted like a man. She didn't know how to be a women. She couldn't walk in hills or put on different garments ladies wore. She didn't what some of them were for. She tried to tell best friend but he didn't believe her at first. But he soon found out the truth. They thought the playboy came back because he had to make up for what he did to woman. And to make him understand what it is like to be one. Soon she was running the streets and kind of doing the same thing she did as a man, mind games. Later she changed. She started to become female inside and out. During the movie she fell in love, I think, with someone and so did the best friend. At the end of the movies the same thing happened to her again. Driving to fast in those hilly roads, she crashed and died but she came back to the house as a dog this time. A really B-i-g dog. The movie looked like it was in the 50's or early 60's. Maybe around the time of Cary Grant and Jack Lemmon in the 50's. You know when the movie "The Apartment", came out. It was in color, maybe technial color. The best friend was like a Cary Grant kind of look. The playboy, as a girls, had a blonde Ginger Rogers look (small and Slender). Most of the movie was set in the ocean front bachelor pad. I had seen this movie on Chicago/gary Television viewing area in the later 70's.
Result: Bloody Birthday Three children (2 boys, 1 girl) are born on the same day, something weird like a solar eclipse occurred. The children are "crazy" and kill.
Ok I hate to do this but I have only a little amount of information about this movie. I saw it when I was young. So late 80's early 90's. It was about a Blonde hair little girl who killed some people. All I can really remember was at the end either everyone thought she was better or they were getting out of dodge, but she was talking to a man who was changing his tire on like a moving truck and either she looked at the jack and made it move or sje just moved the jack and the truck smashed down on this guys head. Im really sorry that thats all Ive got.

Horror film, color, made back in the 80s (maybe late 70s). As best I can remember, a hole from hell opened up in the middle of a house, and several children had to combat a creature that arose from this hole. In the end, the children fire one of their rockets into this creature to destroy it. (I believe "Delusions of Grandeur" was a song in the film, because I remember watching the credits to try and find a clue to the movie name... when I needed it, no TV guide could be found!)

I saw this film somewhere in the 90's, I believe on T.V. Its about a couple who have kidnapped a succession of boys (i think boys) at young ages whom they raise as their own. The current boy somehow begins to realize that he was kidnapped and manages to escape them in the forest when they pull over during a drive (or move?). The boy ends up hiding in a tree and the male of the couple basically lets him go. The male of the couple is eventually shot by the female of the couple and tries to track down the boy. At the end of the movie the boy somehow finds his way back to the door to his home, where his birth mother opens the door to find him.

I have been wondering about his movie I watched when I was a kid. It was about a sculptor who had died and in the end of the movie had acquired this ring that would allow him to leave his crypt and make a sculpture which he could bring to life. both the husband and the sculpture were destroyed in a fire in the end of the movie.

Result: Doing Time On Maple Drive starring Lori Loughlin, William McNamara and Jim Carry. This was Jim Carry's first "serious" role, though it was only a supporting role. It was directed by Ken Olin who also starred in several made for TV dramas and also starred in Lifetime's 'Thirty-Something' citcom series. It was a made for TV movie that first aired, I believe, on the Lifetime chanel in 1992. Thanx Maggie.
I just woke up from a dream. And for some reason, I think it was a movie I once saw. I could be way off. I'm pretty sure, it was about two teenaged boys, one who discovers he's gay?? And there was something about a girl who maybe the straight boy fell in love with who gets sick and dies (or maybe it was one of the boys.. heck could have been one boy). I think it all takes place over the course of one summer. I'm guessing 1990 give or take 5 years. Either way, please let me know of any movies you can think of that MIGHT have any of these elements in it. It's definately about teenaged love. I also for some reason think there was a scene about the boys climbing out the girl's house window when her father gets home, but I'm not sure. As I said it was in a dream, so it definately wouldn't have been accurate, and well dreams fade from memory fast so I'm having a hard time writing it out.

Result: Psychomania (1971) starring Nicky Henson. Thanx Jo.
just thought I'd let you know that "Pyschomania" isn't the film that fits that entire description. The last line, about the guy riding out of the grave on a motorcycle, is indeed from "Psychomania" (a staple on "Chiller Theater" here in the tri-state area). However, the rest of the request must be from a different film, as it is completely different from the goings-on in "Psychomania", which is about a young English leader of a biker gang who discovers he can return from the grave via supernatural means thanks to his mother. He decides to kill himself and return as a zombie, and has the rest of his gang do the same. The catch is they will only return as undead if they truly desired to die. If they hesitate at the final moment, they're dead forever. Stareater
I'd guess this film was made in the 60s. Color. Probably filmed in Europe, perhaps Italy, but it was in English. What I remember for sure is a young man, maybe 25, returning home to his mother and 3 sisters, all in their teens and early 20s. I'm not sure where he was returning FROM, and it's unclear that he's welcomed by his mother, although at least the youngest sister is happy for his return, while the other 2 seem suspicious. Eventually, the son captures the sisters and has them bound and gagged in the basement in their underwear, but they escape before he can do whatever he's planning. Along with the mother, they capture him, and arrange for him to be hung in the bell tower at their church. A scene I recall which may or may not be from the same film has to do with the son returning from the dead...riding out of a grave on a motorcycle.
Result: Sammy Going South aka A Boy Ten Feet Tall Thanx me, Janet the Film Goddess.
I'm searching for a film that I saw maybe 10-15 years ago. I believe it was filmed in the 60's and the actors had a British Accent. It's about a young boy (he must have been anywhere from 10-14 years old) who's parents are killed in their home in either an earthquake or a bombing. I think there was a war going on? The boy survived and had no living relatives nearby. He sets out on a very long journey to I think a place where his "Uncle" lives. The boys travels through the desert but I don't remember anything else. The film definetly takes place somewhere in Europe.

Its was in the 70's... TV movie I think... a teenage girl was kidnapped by a man and taken to live in his cabin... she ended up falling in love with him and he with her... early on she had tried to get him to buy some material for curtains hoping to tip off someone at the fabric store as in the beginning she had been there with her Mom and said this certain material was what she would make curtains out of for her kitchen... anyway he falls for her and does something nice... and buys the fabric.. it works.. sheriff follows him to his cabin... and they rescue the girl, killing him.
Result: The Purple Room episode from Thriller. A show from 1960, that had Boris Karloff as a host. Thanx Runninrabbit.
About five years ago (roughly 1999 or so) I was flipping through the cable channels, and caught a scene or two of an old movie. In it, there was a young man who, I think, would inherit a house if he could only spend the night in it. It was very dark, and maybe a black & white film/show. In one scene, the young man was in the kitchen, and three little creatures (or little deformed men) came out of a wall or secret door, scaring the young man, who was frozen with horror. I mentioned it in passing at work, and a co-worker was surprised because her uncle had also seen it, but never could find it or find out the name of the movie/show. It may have been on public television, or maybe an English program. I'm not sure if it was a movie or a television show.
Result: Rawhead Rex (80) A family visiting Ireland is terrorized by this monster called "Raw Head Rex" which was imprisoned under a stone in a farm field which gets pulled over by the famer. Raw Head keeps going around and killing people including the little boy that goes to pee in the bushes. For some reason the Bloody tennis shoe reminded me of this movie. The boy was about 10 and he had a little sister, the mom was in the car too, she was a blonde in her thirties. Don't know if it's the right movie, but sounds like the right time frame , a winding road, a mom and a little boy who gets eaten by a monster and all that you see is a bloody tennis shoe. Thanx Danielle.
I've only seen the begining of it - an 80s horror movie. Theres a woman and her son driving down the road and he really needs to use the bathroom. So she pulls over and lets him out to use the bathroom behind a bush. After awhile, she goes to check on him and theres nothing left but a bloody tennis shoe because some horrible monster thing ate him.

The movie was probably made in the 70s or early 80s. I was 5 and only remember images of the following: A strange woman who was looking at a clock (I THINK there is blood IN the clock from tourists she'd murdered!) at the end of the movie there is a winding road going doward around a cliff. A tour bus full of people runs off of the cliff. And they had just been leaving the castle or mansion where the woman is. It seemed as though she somehow made the bus crash using only her mind.

The film I wish to ask about is one I have only vague recallections of and I saw it at a very young age maybe 11 or 12 and only halfway through it to the end. So therefore my description can only be very vague at best, I believe it to be a type of horror/slasher film, it was set in a tenement of apartments (very run down looking) I believe the lead role was played by a young girl although I can't be sure about this, as i have mentioned above I was very young. It could be that this was a foriegn film (IE not English or American) although I can't be sure as I don't recall any subtitles.Only two key scences I remember the first: The young girl enters an apartment on a couch a large man is asleep? dead? The strange thing is that the man is covered in cockroaches and bugs crawling all over him.The girl goes over to this man to examine him? The second: This scence is right at the end of the film. The killer has been discovered and has taken refuge in a building nearby (may! be an old church?).The girl I believe is also hiding in this building. The cops arrive on the scene and shoot the killer dead ( or does the building burn down?) The girl manages to slip out unoticed in her hand she carrys a bag of some description (brown paper bag?. Just before the film ends the girl reaches a hand inside the bag and pulls out a wicked looking knife.I got the impression the girl was about to carry on where the killer left off. This was like a last minute plot twist and was very disturbing to see the way the young girl is looking at the knife. Then the film ends on that scene.I saw this around film around 1986 and it was on British television maybe BBC2.If you could find out the name of this film I would be appriecative as I remember it left quite an impression on me because of the surrealty of the film. Thanks for your time.

I am looking for a movie probably back in the 70's. It's a family film that came out in the theaters. It is about a family who was stranded or lost on an island after WWll. They came across 2 Japense soldiers who didn't relize tht the war was over. They either made friends with the soliders or they tried to get away from them. They used a plane that was shot down as their boat to get off the island. The plane floated upside down and they could look through the cockpit at the ocean below. Please help find the name of this movie. It has been driving me and my husband crazy cause we both saw it as children and can not seen to locate or remember the name of the movie. I don't think it is a disney movie but it might be. Like I said this movie would of been out in the 70's or so.

I am looking for a film for my friend. He says it`s called The Egyptian but is not the 1954 version (already got him that). He saw it on the television late at night. It was black and white, but not silent. There were no famous actors. He cannot remember the plot except for the fact that the people thought the Pharaoh had gone crazy, but in actual fact he`d become enlightened and was trying to spread it among the people. It`s not much to go on. It would be brilliant if someone recognised this. I`ve looked everywhere.

there was a movie i saw once probably about 5 years ago- late 90's- about a boy who was abandoned at a bus stop during a trip he and his mother were taking. it was determined later that his mother had been murdered. Anyway- in the ensueing depression etc...he stopped talking and some kind shop owners, or perhaps the bus depot owner took him in, and the whole town just thought he was developmentally challenged. however- he was witness to a crime and surprised everyone when he spoke out during the court trial- i'd love to see this movie again- if you can help me figure out what it was. i have a sinking feeling that it was a made for TV kind of movie- and i think that may make it harder to find. anyway- i could be wrong and you might know right off.

Result: Scorn (2000) . Thanx Christopher.
The film I am looking for is a made for T.V. movie that aired on television about maybe three to four years ago, around 2000. The main plot is there is this teenager who learns that when his grandfather dies the inheritance will be split between his grandmother, his mother, and himself, then when his grandmother dies he gets half and the mother gets half, and if she dies he gets it all, so when he finds this out he decides to try to kill them all so he can get all the stuff right away. I remember one scene where he is in the pool with his grandmother and sort of tries to drown her before pretending he was joking or something, and I think there was a scene involving someone falling down stairs. Also the main character (the kid), is involved with another boy but is hiding the relaitionship, and I think he get's this other teenager who wass going to jump off a roof to help him, but I'm not sure I never saw the end. Also I'm pretty sure that the film was based on a real story, or at least there was a book of some sort about it.

I saw this at the movies in the late '70's (maybe 1977 or 1978). It was a western and the husband came home to find his wife not in the house. It seemed they kind of lived in the wilderness. It wasn't in the prarie as I remember there were quite a few trees around. He starts looking for her and finds her laying in the back yard dead, she had also been raped. He is devastated and I believe he starts looking for the killers but I'm not sure, I fell asleep and can't remember much more. I thought the husband was James Caan but I looked up all his movies and none seemed to be the right one. It's not Outlaw Josey Wales either. If you can help I'd appreciate it. I think it was a pretty obscure movie.

Color - mid 80's The movie was a teenage style horror movie where some how all of the dead were brought back to life. The main character is a nerdy guy and he meets this pretty blonde in a blue cheer leader outfit. She is dead but is a "good" character. She loves "tuity fruity" lip stick. Anyway she helps the main character return the dead in which she has to return herself. I do not know of any actors in the movie. I saw it on TV around 1986. It was in color but not sure of a year that it was made. I do remember it being an eighties style film.
Result: Don't Go To Sleep Thanx Jade.
I saw this horror movie as a young child, so it was most likely late 70s early 80s Maybe (1976ish-1985?)Color film, don't remember any actors, parents rented it on VHS. It was about a family with two daughters and a son (the daughters are elementary or middle school aged and the little boy is probably 6). The oldest daughter dies in an automobile fire because the younger sister had tied her shoelaces to the the floorboard or seatbelt and she could not get out of the car before burning alive. The family then had to deal with the death of the brother who was playing on the roof (maybe chasing a paper airplane?) and was killed when he slipped and fell. The remaining child, a girl, is possibly to blame for both deaths and has terrible nightmares, and I think the parents think the child is going insane. I remember the mother has such a terrible time cleaning out the little boy's closet after he died. And maybe the girl saw a ghost of her sister in some field full of yello! w flowers. All I can remember is that the film focused on the remaining child and maybe a possession or somehow she was responsible for making the boy fall from the roof? It scared me to death as a child, and I have always wondered what movie that was.

I saw a movie with my parents when I was a little girl (I am 59). It was about this dedicated woman who took care of orphaned babies (during the war?). I remember a big two story house and this lady who always found homes for the babies. The plot was that she fell in love with one special baby and decided she would quit working for the orphanage and keep this baby. She was single. Then one rainy night a couple came to the door and wanted the baby. It was a real tear jerker, because she let them take the baby she wanted so much because she wanted the baby to have 2 parents and this "perfect" couple was much younger than she was. I have never forgotten the impact that this movie had on me. I don't know if it was made in the 40's or 50's. I would appreciate any ideas you may have that might help me find it.

Hi, I am looking for a 70's family movie about a father and his kids who are stranded on an island after World War 2 and they come across 2 Japense soliders who don't relize the war is over. Well for them to get off the island they take an old plane that has been shot down and turn it into a boat. They can look through the cockpit window and see below the sea. they use the lights in the plane to attract fish to the window so they can catch them. It also attracts the sharks. I would of seen this movie in the mid seventies at the movie theatre. I am not sure if it is a disney movie cause I have checked titles in Disney and couldn't find it. They run into a homocidal maniac and his girlfriend. To make a long story short , this maniac terrorizes and murders all these people 1 by 1. He kills two motorcycle cops and a few others. In the final scene when he is about to kill 1 last victim, he falls through an abandoned well or mining pit that is filled with rattlesnakes. This is how he meets his end. I would say it was made in the late 50's because of the cars used in this film.

While at his house the coven attacks them with spells. She forms a circle of protection in the kitchen and they stay in it for the night. Somehow she is later captured by the coven and taken to their secret house. He finds her and attempts to save her from being sacrificed. At some point they end up on a beach with a big bon fire. The coven is dancing around it. He pledges that he loves her and is willing to take her place as the sacrifice. She turns around with a big smile. Puts on her robe and joins the circle. The main guy takes off his mask and turns out to be a "friend" of this guy. In fact most of the people he knows have been in on it. Even the cops he called to meet him on the beach. They all join the circle and kill him. He was set up from the very start. It is probably from the 70's but could be early 80's.

Ok I saw this film a long time ago. This guy is married to this woman. I think he gets hit by a car, he dies and goes to heaven. He gets in line and is asked how he wants to be reincarnated. He describes how he wants to look and is suppose to get this shot that will make him forget everything. The shot looks like an item used in a doctor's office, like an ear scope with a little suction cup on the end. Anyway they don't give him the shot in heaven and when he is reborn he remembers everything. He is a teenage boy when he finds his wife and his daughter. PLEASE HELP ME I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE MOVIE IS CALLED! I saw it about 12 years ago it was on color and it was on TV.

I really haven't seen this movie yet, but my friends have a bet with me and I have to figure out what the title of this movie is. This comedy was made in the mid 80's and it's about a white boy who is trying to go to an all black college where he can play basketball. The boy actually takes a pill and he believes that he will turn black. He has a famous line in one part of the movie where he says "You mean I have to stay this color forever?" If I'm not mistaken, the pill turns him black and then he meets a white girl and she wont date him because he's black, so then he wants to turn back to being white again. My friends tell me that his name is Mr. Johnson in the movie. Please help me figure it out! Oh yeah, the movie begins with the letter "J."
Result: Fortress 1986 TV movie set in Australia. Thanx Kevin.
I saw this movie when I was about 10 (1983-1986) on TV (it was in color). I think it set in Australia and had students and teacher being chased buy these killers that wore masks. The one mask that stood out was of a PIG. The students find refuge in a cave and are forced to escape since the entrance they came in can no longer be used. At one point they have to swim underwater from one part of the cavern to another and go student by student as the teacher helps them along. I know that they get out of the cave and the chase beings again. I also think they had a pretty graphic rape scene or at least an attempted rape scene. i saw this movie and it totally left an impression. If someone knows the title I would be truly grateful.

Hey, I'm looking for a film that I saw once, don't know when it was made, I saw it on tv in the 80's or 90's, maybe on HBO. But, the story is about a girl who is babysitting and thinks someone is in the house...opens the door and the child she is sitting disappears from his bed. It's a big mystery that goes unsolved, haunts her...then later in life, when she's grown, wierd things happen again...and the original killer ends up back in her life again. The big final scene reveals that he can "throw" his voice and disguise himself, and he ends up in her house or apartment and has painted himself to match the wall and all the sudden you see his eyes open. He can throw his voice to sound like he's on the phone or outside when he's right next to her, and he is a ventriloquist, I think.

It turned out in the end that they were actually all dead and ghosts but had not realised. Finding the name of this film will give everyone a know peace so please help.

He crashed over a little cliff. He went into a coma. His coma last many years. The movie takes place mostly while he is in a coma. His mom, dad, and brother visit him in the hospital. I also remember something about a space ship type thing, that maybe he flies in, or that he opens up. The space ship is in a big building. Result: Cameron's Closet (1986) Thanx Will.
There is a movie that I have been trying to find, and it has been a while since I have seen it. I first saw it when I was very young. If I had to make a guess, I would say between 1989 and 1992. I know that this is a broad spectrum, but this is the best that I can do. The movie entails a kid sitting in a chair in his house on the first floor, and all of a sudden, there is a monster that breaks through the walls on each side of the kid and grabs him from the outside. Then the kid manages to escape and starts running from the monster and eventually makes his way to the basement. Then he finds an axe and chases after the monster with it. This is all I remember. The kid may have an older brother in the movie, but I can't be sure. The only reason why I am wanting to find this out is because when I was younger, it gave me nightmares for six months, and now I've started thinking about it again, and I want to see if it is actually somewhat scary. I doubt itm because the whole reason I was scared so much is because I was very young. If I am not mistaken, it was a movie on TV, and possibly some sort of "scary movie marathon". Please contact me if you have any questions, or maybe have an idea, but want to ask me about it. I would be very grateful for any help that anyone can provide me.
Result: Desperate Search (1952) starring Howard Keel and Jane Greer. Thanx Marphisa.
This movie is from the late '50s or early 1960s. A boy, maybe 10 years old and his younger sister are forcibily separated from their father at the airport and put on an plane. I believe the mother may have hired a detective or someone to take the children from their father in a custody dispute. One of the passengers on the plane is a detective and has a gun. I think he's handcuffed to a prisoner that he's escorting back to face charges. The plane crashes in the Canadian wilderness and everyone aboard is killed except the two children. The boy takes the gun from the dead policeman. He and his sister try to find their way back to civilization. A bobcat (mountain lion?) stalks them. The little girl wades into a lake to get away, and the boy shoots at the critter until he runs out of bullets and the big cat finally runs away. This may be a Canadian film because I recall 1-2 characters speaking in French at the beginning of the movie, but I'm not certain. I don'! t recall any famous actors in this, which leads me to believe it was a stock B-movie, or else a Canadian film with actors who were not very well known in the U.S. Any help in identifying this mystery will be appreciated!
Result: Babycakes (1985) a remake of "Zuckerbaby" . It starred Ricki Lake, Craig Sheffer, and Betty Buckley. Thanx Lisa, Claire, Saul, The Mad Katter,.
I believe the movie I am looking for was just a "made-for-TV" movie. It didn't have any people in it that I recognized--or at least that I remember as being "famous". I don't know the title or the year I saw it either, only the story line. It took place in either NY or Chicago, I think. It was a large city with an outdoor skating rink. It's about a girl who is over weight and not very attractive who sees a good looking guy skating at this ice rink while skating with her girlfriend. She decides she is going to meet him, so she slips into the changing room and takes his skates, then meets him and leaves. He realizes his skates have disappeared and about that time he is being summoned over the loud speaker system that his skates have been found and turned in--or something like that. He doesn't think much about her one way or the other. She doesn't make much of an impression. As it turns out, he has a girlfriend he is living with (I think) who is a model or some such thing--very pretty, very thin, etc. But, she is also very stuck on herself. To make a long story short, this girl doesn't give up and ends up making friends with him. He goes to her house for dinner and her family is ready to fall over. Her father is remarried to the wicked witch of the west and has two blond blue-eyed adorable little bratty girls and all they can do is put this poor girl down, so when she brings the "hunk" to dinner mom's mouth drops open! He (the young man) sees how the family talks to her and treats her and suddenly becomes very defensive of her, playing it up big for them--he realizes what he was brought home for--and they are even more amazed. This is when he starts seeing her for her beauty INSIDE and what she looks like outside disappears--until his buddies see him with her, then he is embarrassed. They tease him about her so he ends up standing her up for a date that she has spent days preparing for and breaks her heart. Instead he goes out with the guys and gets wasted, but instead of going home, he goes to HER house!

i'm looking for the title of a movie that i saw when i was a kid. from what i can remember, it was made in the 80's. it's about this boy who thinks he is too young and wants to grow more hair. so him and his friend either make or find some kind of substance that makes him grow more hair, a lot. then, i think he is kidnapped by a man who wants to make paintbrushes with the kids hair. the movie was not animated and i think it was a kids/family movie. any ideas?
Result: Born American (1986) It's listed on several chess 'n movies websites. Thanx Janet the Film Goddess.
I think it was a movies in the 80s in color. I probably saw it on TV or video. I don't remember much of the plot except this - There were three friends (men )and I maybe 1 woman. They are trapped in some world or country underground maybe where they have a human chess game. One of the guys is always checking out the game and at the end when they escape the one guy stays behind to play in the human chess game. I don't remember much more than that, but it's killing me. Help me please, Obi-Wan you're my only hope.
