I'm looking for a movie that I seen multiple times as a child on TBS. The movie looked like it was set in the 1970's or early 80's. So, I guess I seen it on TBS in the later part of the 80's or very early in the 90's. I can only remember bits and pieces but I remember that I really enjoyed it. Okay, the scene that sticks out most in my mind is the one where these adults (around their early 30's) are for some reason brought back to this barn to relive something that happened when they were children or teenagers. The stand in a circle, in the barn, and maybe chant or something, a girl with blonde hair in a white dress appears. I think this girl's name is Martha but I'm unsure. Anyway, I think the point of this movie was that Martha (if that was her name) died years ago or went missing when herself and a bunch of friends (the one's that are brought back to relive this) stood in a circle, held hands, in the barn years ago. I think Martha's mother, sister, neice, somebody came back to try and solve the mystery.

The only thing I remember about this movie is that it involved a bunch of freaks being kidnapped (?) and put in a barn. They may have been turned into freaks while in the barn. I saw this about 10 years ago and I would guess the film was made in the 1980s/1990s. I must have been only about 7 or 8 at the time so my memory of it is hazey. Anyway I seem to remember some forest or field scenes at the beginning, it was green anyway, I think... but the part I am sure about was that sooner or later it involved a woman in her 20s or so, being kidnapped by some demon like thing - I don't recall what the demon looked like. But then the woman is turned into a demon initially against her own will, while she is in a dimly lit room. I don't think the demon was physically in the room with her and I don't think her changing radically altered her physial appearence (she was still mostly human bar teeth and maybe some other demony things). I don't think the room she was in was particularly uncomfortable and not really dungeon like... there may have been a fireplace that caused the glow but I can't quite remember. I seem to remember that once she was turned into the demon she was less than human in her attitude and her initial resistance to being turned into a demon seemed gone. Don't remember if she was rescued in the end though...Given my age I don't think the film was on THAT late at night but my memory is hazey... it may have not been that gory or anything due to this but it still had a horror/gothic sort of vibe to me.

This movie was on television in the late 80s. I remember it was about a group of tourists in a bus travelling up a winding mountain to get to a mansion on the hill. A few strange things happen (including a strange woman and a large clock that may have had blood inside of it) At the end of the movie, the group of people get into the bus and as they are leaving the mansion, the bus runs off the cliffs and crashes, killing everyone. It was as if the woman had caused this

I think this was on TV sometime in the 70's about that had about three true short stories. One was about a college prank gone wrong, they send a guy to some old woman's house and she accidentally shoots him. The guys mother was a witch and the curses the three guys that sent her son to that house. I remember something to the point of her telling the boys that two will die by air and one by land. The story centes on one of the guys telling this story to a priest while on a plane. The priest gets off the plane and it crashes while taking off and it shows another one of the guys dying while skydiving. The second story focuses family living out in the country, their son finds a deep hole out in the woods, his dog gets too close and falls in. The boy then tells his father then they gathter a lot of frinds to get the dog. The father is then lowered in to the hole, a loud scream is then heard and when he is pulled back up he is completley insane and runs off into the woods with his son running after him.

I am looking for the title to a movie I saw on television somewhere between the years 1996-2002. (I have been very ill and was in and out of consciousness when this was on). It would have been shown on either NBC, ABC or PBS in this area.I remember a woman 30ish dressed in a 1930's or 40's style woolen coat. She was pulling a wagon (like a radio flyer wagon). In the wagon was a large block of wood. In the movie she carved this wood but I don't recall what she made out of it. I also recall a scene where a man (I believe her husband) was standing with other men warming their hands around a fire in a barrel. It was wintertime in the movie. There also was a row of shanty houses, the one room simple construction type. They lived in one of this. They were obviously very poor.

I am trying to attach the scene from a movie to the movie. The scene is a man that gets into a cab. The cab driver is indian and has indian music playing. Once the cab pulls away, the cab driver starts crying. When the man in the back seat (the main character) hear the cab driver he asks "Is everything ok?" The cab driver replies that he is fine, then a moment later, begins to cry again. I thought that the main character may have been Matthew Perry, but cannot associate any of his movies with the theme. It was definitely a comedy, late 90's, earyl 2000's.

I'm looking for a made for TV movie that came out in either the early 90's, or the late 80's. Maybe 1991/92? But it could be anywhere before 1996. In color. It was about a young woman who is raped, and the guy is never caught, but she becomes prenant from it, and desides to have the kid. In the hospital, after the little girl is born, this guy thats been talking to her for the last couple months makes a deal with her, and asks her to marry him. The relationship is okay at first, and then becomes violent as the years pass. He becomes more and more abusive. Then one day the daughter gets sick, and it turns out she needs a transplant of some kind. Everyone in her family is checked as a possible doner, everyone except the husband who insists that his blood type doesn't match. The mother explains that he's not the father, that she doesn't know who the father is, and the doctors start looking elsewhere. Days pass, and the little girl is fading fast, then the husband finally goes in to be texted. And it turns out he's a perfect match. Because he's the father.

I believe it was a black and white film on television 1970's-1990? Seems like a Hitchcock movie but couldn't locate it. A young girl's mother (the young girl is 15?) is found dead in her room, due to all the gas lamps being turned on and all the windows and doors locked shut. It's ruled as a suicide but the daughter is positive her mother was murdered. Everyone says it's impossible b/c all forms of entry are locked from the inside. The daughter is positive it's her mothers husband/boyfriend that committed the crime. She vows to prove it, and so he sets out to murder her as well. I think he puts sleeping additive in her drink, carries her into the mother's bedroom, and repeats the suicide/murder with the gas lamps. He then opens a trap door under the rug where he places scuba-like apparatus on so that he can breathe. It's pretty scary looking gear, like creature from the black lagoon kind of stuff. He hides down in this secret space, replacing the rug before shutting the trap door. However, a couple comes along, breaks into the room and saves the young girl. They are convinced she's crazy and so distraught from her mother's suicide that she now also has tried to commit suicide. The daughter denies it and says it's her mother's husband/boyfriend now trying to kill her too. She pleads with them, and the couple agrees to help search for him if the young girl promises to give up on the crazy idea if they don't find anything. She knows they think she's crazy. They look everywhere but can't find him. A last attempt has the daughter asking them to move a huge chest of drawers to see if he's hiding behind it. They find nothing and the daughter agrees to leave with the couple. Before getting in the car, she says she's forgotten something and goes back in the room one last time. The murderer has been trapped in his secret hiding cave below b/c the heavy chest of drawers is resting on top of the trap door. He's pounding away, begging her to let him out. She says something like "They keep saying I'm crazy, so those must just be voices in my head" and she leaves, knowing he will never escape and her mother's death is finally revenged.

Okay, I'm not sure if this was a real movie or a dream. I have found at least one person who vaguely remembers this movie, but her memory is BAD. It was the late 80s, early 90s when I saw it. All I remember is it is mainly about a day in the life of a teenage boy who thinks he's an alien. He sleeps in a hammock and has a jukebox that plays old TV theme songs. For some reason, B-52 keeps coming up. His mom tells him to take his vitamins, and the bottle says B-52; at school he learns about B-52 bombers; then Fred and Kate from the B-52s (not as the B-52s) show up in an RV, and tell him he is an alien. They take him to the Space Needle in Seatle, which is actually their spaceship they crashed years ago. I don't remember how it ends, and I can't remember who was in it. It was in color, and I saw it on HBO or one of those pay channels like it in the late 80s or early 90s.

This movie i remember starting out about a group of teenagers go to this mansion and the quiet girl out of the group gets possessed or something and turns into this type of medusa chick. she begins to start killing her friends. there are also parts of the movie where a guy and a girl are searching around when the guy falls down a set of stairs and finds this room where this jar of chemicals fall and created like four big monsters that made a sort of farting noise when they where fighting the boy. There was also a part where in the beginning of the movie where this boy is on his bike riding through the woods, and finds a ribbon or message that sends him to the mansion and when he gets to the mansion he finds a gift on the table which is for him because it is his birthday and when he opens it he finds his head inside.

I saw a film approx 15yrs ago, I don't know if it was new then either. I believe it was a thriller/horror. The main part of the story I remember is a couple who adopt/foster a young girl (maybe around 10yrs old?) she could have been called Jenny but I'm not sure. Anyway, she turned out to be quite evil and was turning everyone against the mother figure. I also think that everyone she got on her side had a birth mark on their necks. I remember that they moved into a house that had a fireplace in the you could walk through into another room and I also remember a scene where the mother was being buried alive by large stones??? Possibly by women dressed as nurses or she herself was a nurse.I know this isn't much to go on but it gave me such nightmares when I was younger I would really love to see it again to see if it really was that scary and why I was so frightened.I think the film was in colour and I would've either seen a rented copy or been on tv.Many ThanksJO

This movie was likely made in the 60's or 70's. I saw it on tv in the 1970s. I believe is was an American movie and believe that it was in color (not certain it was in color). It was about a family who was stalked by a crazy man. The husband/father in the family may have been a doctor; he gave the crazy man a shot (I think the crazy man may have been a diabetic) and he and his wife drive through roadblocks to put the crazy man in a well to die. He did not die and later sent a long flower box to the wife/mother, which contained a part of an arm with a ring that belonged to her son. It was the son's ring, but not his arm/hand.

The main character grows up to be a very pale creepy kind of handsome guy. The movie was pretty darkly lit I think. I kind of remember the guy wearing a black suit, with a reddish glow all around him. i think the suit was a priest's outfit... sorry theres not much to go on.... I saw a film on TV in the late 1950's (possibly 1960)it has intrigued me and I would love to know what it was called. It was set in USA, possibly New York, and I believe it started on a film set. The leading actress and a female colleague then got into an open topped car (which I think belonged to the film set), together with lots of luggage from the film set. They drove off and booked into a hotel where she pretended to be a Duchess or a Countess and her friend posed as her maid. When they got to their hotel room they were shocked to discover that their luggage contained only balast from the film set rather than any clothes. The only other thing I can remember is that a man came to the hotel to visit them and noticed the headlines in the newspaper were all about her absconding from the film set - he bought every newspaper in the hotel.

I am looking for a movie from either the late 80's or early 90's. It is about a group of guys some what like a fraternity that all wear masks and fight each other. If my memory serves me right they usually send one guy out into the woods at a time and then they all pursue to hunt him. I know there are alot of fights that take place in the woods and some even take place in a swamp area. One fight also takes place in kind of a tunnel. The only thing i can really remember clearly is that they all wore masks when fighting so that they never really seen who each other was but they would fight out in nature.

The film I am looking for was a Christmas animated video (in color, bu faded, almost antique-looking) that I had from about 1989-1992 or so. There was an orphanage and the mom had to leave a lot and the babies cried all the time (it was really rather dark!) and there was a creepy guy that did mean things. The babies looked a lot like kewpie dolls. There were several scenes-I think it took place in a dream, one had a guy sleeping with a sawing log over his head with Brahm's Lullaby playing in the background, and there was another with a boy and a girl in a fantasy land (they ate ice cream and the cartoon style reminds me of the old Mickey Mouse cartoons). I am fairly sure the whole plot took place on Christmas Eve.

I remember maybe two criminals...one of the men was bigger and grunted a lot. I remember a scene where someone was standing on a corner looking up into a window of an apartment building where the criminals were in....and there's a flowerpot that someone uses to hit one of the criminals. Seemed like a lot of sand if I can remember correctly though. Okay...so the beginning of the movie is showing these three guys in there different houses getting ready to go out for a run. I remember them putting on shoes, putting on vaseline or something on their heels, etc...and then they meet up. The next part I can remember is them running in the desert. Then I remember a group of scary people...like a biker gang (mad-max ish looking people) kind of. They are all smart a$$es and are kind of bullying the runners. I think the runners just wanted to get past them and move on. At this point I don't know if the runners had stuff with them to stay the night in the desert or not. Anyway, the next part I remember is this big biker man swinging a pair of binoculars around and around and nailing one of the runners in the face.....so much it killed him and there was blood everywhere. It seemed as though the other runners took off and they had to hide and then fight off these scary desert biker folk. I am pretty sure only one of them men actually makes it out of the desert alive.

I thought this was a Night Gallery short, but couldn't find it. I saw this in the early 70s on TV when I was a kid. A pre-teen boy moves into a country house and goes explorer in the nearby woods and discover a monster that resembles a pile of leaves, until it stands up, then it was pretty scarey looking. The monsters chases the boy home and tells his parents, of course they do not believe him, until they hear a knock at the door and the dad opens it to find the monster which promptly grabs the dad. The story ended at this point. I swear it was some kind of episodic TV, but it is not a Twilight Zone, Outer Limits, or Night Gallery that I can find.

Whats worse is I dont know specifics like character names or actors or whatever, since I saw this at such a young age. So here goes....I remember it was about some kind of monster (may have been aliens), they may or may not have been insect-like. These things, they eat people, particularly people's heads for no real reason, its just what they do. A kid in the movie, who I'd guess was like the main character figures this stuff out and makes like a mock-up head. I guess he was into horror movie special effects, sort of like Tommy in Friday The 13th Part 4. Anyways, he makes this head, and stuffs it with some kind of explosive, like dynamite, and puts the head on a long pole, and uses it to taunt the alien monster getting it to chase him. The kid finally gets the alien to bite the head off and swallow it and of course the thing blows up and the alien is blown to a million peices. Now here's where it gets REALLY weird.... the authorities are there and decide that the only "safe" way to dispose of these monsters is to bury the chunks of them that are left far apart from eachother. So they bury the chunks of these things in holes set fairly far apart and they end up taking up an entire field just to accomplish this. Well sometime after they're done, the ground starts shaking. Suddenly this GIGANTIC version of the alien rises up out of the ground, made from all the fused together parts of the previous dead ones, and stands like 4 stories tall. And that's the end!!...I mean right when it stands up out of the ground, the screen jumps to black and the credits roll. I've spent FOREVER trying to find this and can't. The only other info I can tell you is it was the 80's, anywhere from '83 to '86. It was in color. And it was a rental, so there's a chance it could be a direct to video movie.

She wore a black wedding dress with a black veil and she lived in this house that looked haunted. I remeber a bunch of college students going out to her house on halloween! If I remeber correctly, Christine Taylor was in this movie, and also I remeber seeing it when I was younger, so I'd say it was filmed in the 90's.

I think this was either a Twilight Zone or Amazing Stories episode from the 1980's. It was about a boy that was able to use his mind to bring things out of books and magazines. He was home schooled because his parents were scared to send him out into the real world. I think at the end the boy was able to get his hands on a "Time" magazine and he pulled a nuclear bomb or some type of weapon out of the magaine.

The tiger does not harm the boy as it is injured and has something stuck in its paw. The boy helps the tiger and the 2 become friends. They run off or are chased off and eventually the tiger finds a small cave that happens to be on in a military testing area. The military start firing test bombs as the boy runs across the field to try to save the tiger. The military stop the firing when they see the boy,but he is too late as the tiger is killed. As he sits there crying he hears faint meows. He moves a few rocks and discovers 3 tiger cubs that all survived the blast.

Another is someone was swimming in the indoor pool and a see-through panel extends over the top of the pool so when she (he?) comes up for air, she can't get out of the water and drowns. He comes home and finds her in the cellar, with her mentally-challengen cousin, but the deformed cousin then turns on the father , killing him. The family secret is no longer a secret . One more thing, .....upon entering the basement , the retarded ,disformed cousin constantly slaps himself on his bare stomach .

Please help me locate a movie that I saw back in 1978 or 1979. It was one of the scariest thriller/ horror films that I have ever seen. It was about a serial killer who brutally killed local teenagers in a small town. One scene in particular was a girl tied up to a tree and the killer tied a knife to the end of a trombone and then he played the trombone and the knife went through her and into the tree. The movie was introduced to being based on actual events. The local Sheriffs dept. finally located the killer and witnessed him being hit by a train. His body was never recovered. This film i also believe is a zombie movie or movie with vampires in it. It is also in color. I remember watching it on one of these three channels: HBO, Cinemax, or Showtime. The only part that i can remember is the end or at least near the end of the movie. The part that i remember is set in a cemetary, there is a town in the backround burning bodies on a foggy night. There is a group of teenagers running around in this cemetary. There is also an older girl with a group of older guys. This girl seems to be running around waiting for a sacrifice. She eventually is running around completely naked screaming. If i remeber correctly she has either red or orange hair if that helps. I think its for a satanic ritual/sacrifice, but im not sure. I think the title might even start with "Night of the..." but every film i have seen with this for the start of the title comes back not the right movie. As for time frame when i first saw this film i would have to say 2003 and i believe this movie came out in the late 70's if not early to mid eighties based on picture quality and the way the actors were dressed.

It is a strange movie, sort of dream like, and I only know bits and pieces of it. And I may be wrong about the parts. But here is what I think I know. There is a man in this village that I believe is up in the woods and it is full of people that turn out to be either crazy or involved in some sort of cult. A young girl helps this man try to escape the village. At one point they are running through the woods, while being chased by the villagers who are throwing rocks at them. They are just about to escape the woods and a rock hits the girl in the back of the head. I believe it kills her. The man escapes and I believe he is picked up wandering by a cop or some other person and as he is telling the person his story of what happened to him, they drive him right back into the village he has just escaped from. If I'm not mistaken, in order to get to this village, they have to drive through a bunch of fog.

Near the end of the movie, a crazy? woman is discovered locked in a barn or an attic or something. Was she the woman from the couple's mother? Sister? He never molests or physically injures her but he won't let her go. One day though after he leaves for work he accidentally leaves the door ajar and she escapes. She wanders around the city. When the kidnapper returns to his apartment, he is brokenhearted. Either later the same day or a few days later the woman returns. Time passes. In In the next scene she is pregnant. Unfortunately I don't know any of the actors'names or the name of the movie but I thought it might contain the words bad or wild or seed but when I try searching those words, I can never find anything. I saw it as a little girl and it left me feeling extremely scared and confused. I couldn't understand why the woman would return to someone who kidnapped her. The film follows the progress of the canal boat, many parties are held enroute, poaching and hunting. The American keeps calling to find out where his bathtub is. Finally the barge arrives in Scotland with the bathtub. While unloading the bathtub it falls into the water and sinks. Ealing Studios did a number of comedies about then, such as "Pasport to Pimlico" "Tight Little Island AKA Whiskey Galore" "Titfield Thunderbolt". I believe the film would have been made in that era by Ealing or another studio.

If I remember correctly I saw this movie in the mid-90's. I saw it in a theater. It is about a young girl that is kidnapped/murdered. The movie starts off with a fuzzy shot of what seems like a birthday party, and the starting credits are also shown at this time. The little girl's body was found in a remote area and, if I remember right, was pushed off a hill. I know for a fact that this movie was filmed in and around Rapid City, SD. The directors are old friends of my parents and they no longer are in contact. My parents can't remember their names. There is at least one scene that takes place in the Rushmore Mall of Rapid City, and in that scene the actors directly mention "Rapid City, SD". I think the girl might have been kidnapped from the mall, but I am not sure.

Result: La Rivière Du Hibou (1962) (based on An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge by Ambrose Bierce) Thanx Marphisa. Jan 9, 2007

I saw this movie my senior year of high school, 2001. It was a black and white foreign short. About 10 minutes long, I think. It was about a soldier who is being hanged. As the bottom drops out from under him on a bridge, the rope breaks, and he falls into a river. He escapes while being chased by swimming the river, running through a dense forest, etc. He finds his house, and his wife and gives her a kiss, then the movie, changes back to him being hanged originally, w/o the rope breaking. All of it was in a dream he had. It wasn't on TV, but on a tape I saw in English class. It looked like the 30's and 40s. It might have been French or Italian made.

I'm looking for a movie in color that I saw on TV when I was a kid. (I was 8 yrs old in 1990). Two Children, a brother and sister, lure other kids to their house or maybe to another place and promise them great gifts. These other kids are somehow given the gifts (maybe by magic) but then they are then sucked into the walls where they are not killed but remain in there trying to get out and stretching the walls. I have been thinking of this movie for 10 years. i have tried to google it and such.

Result: Summer Girl (1983) (TV) starring Diane Franklin. Thanx Marphisa. Jan 9, 2007

I am searching for a Made for Tv Movie that I saw on tv around 1986 but it's possible the movie was made a few years earlier; judging by the fashion at the time it was early 80's. It's about a husband and wife (who plays a pregnant woman ) who go on vacation for the summer with their 2 kids and get a nanny to help out. (The nanny incidently looks alot like Christine McGlade from Canada's You Can't Do That On Television. She looks early 20-ish). She slowly seduces the husband because she wants to get rid of the wife and have the family. She eventually kidnaps the 2 kids in a rowboat to go off to some island. It storms and the parents are frantic and they find the kids and she's arrested. Now there's the plot. I know that the actor who played the father was popular enough to be recogized (I was only around 10 when I saw this movie; so he'd have to be pretty popular) as was the actress who played the mother. Both probably in their late 30's. I know in the movie it's set in a coastal town. They rent a beach house it has an inground pool. Let's see if I can describe them.. The nanny (said above), the mother, tawny brown hair kind of that olympic bowl hair cut, beady brown or hazel eyes, thin lips; I always thought she looked like a weasal sort of. She always played really 'mouthy' characters. Not that tall maybe 5'4". The husband; was tall had a James Brolin sort of look to him. If I had magazines from that era I know I could figure it out. I hope you can help this has plagued me for years. This movie was done in color and it could be a Canadian production shown in the US but it could also be the US not sure on that one.

Result: On Borrowed Time (1939) starring Lionel Barrymore Thanx Marphisa, Patty. Jan 9, 2007

I am looking for a very old vintage movie that I seen on television only once and cannot remember the name. I am thinking it was made in the 1920's, 30's, or maybe 40's. It was a black and white film. The scene is set at an old family farm, and the overall plot that I remember is that the devil came calling (due to someone about to die) and got stuck up in a tree outside in the yard, and he was unable to come down. He (the devil) remained in the tree the entire movie. I don't remember anything else about it. It almost looks like the same vintage movie as, "The Grapes of Wrath," but I'm not sure. I've checked your "found" pages and found nothing describing this movie. Any help with the title or where I may obtain a video of it would be greatly appreciated.

I remember seeing this American color film on TV in the late 80's/early 90's. It was a family-comedy (I believe) from that time period, and a lot of the scenes took place on a public beach. At the very end of this film, a little girl and a woman have this fat guy buried in the sand. They then tell him to sing the song, "Papa-Oom-Mow-Mow" (by The Rivingtons), which he does. As the fat guy sings the song, the little girl and the woman run away to play a game of volleyball (or something) nearby while the guy continues to sing "Papa-Oom-Mow-Mow," because he thinks they are still there. When he finishes the song, he starts calling for them, but gets no reply; and is left buried in the sand. The fat guy continues to call for them as the picture fades to black, and then the closing credits start to appear.

I was shown a scene from this movie around 2000, and am under the impression it was a fairly recent film then, so would likely be from the 90s. The scene showed a small boy in an orphanage or boys' school who had failed to hang up his coat at the top of the stairs. The strict headmaster told him to walk up and down the stairs for an hour (or 100 times, or whatever) and hang his coat up each time. The alloted time passed, and the boy refused kept silently going up and down the stairs. This went on for hours, perhaps into the night. Finally the headmaster said something which got the boy to stop. The child then went up the stairs, promptly dropped the coat on the ground, and left.

I am looking for a movie that I saw on T.V.. It is possible that this was on cable or a made for T.V. movie. It would have been in the late 70's or 80's. The one part that keeps popping in my head is a very distraught women is trying to stop a crying child. (no older that 3?) The cops come to the motel that she is "hiding out in" when they get in the room she is rocking and singing hush little baby don't you cry. However the child was sufficated with a pillow. The woman has no clue that she has done anything wrong....I think and I may be totally wrong because would have been over 25 years since I saw this. I think this woman had been torchured as a child. She had been locked in closets and been bitten by rats. Now this may be a different movie, and I could be confusing the 2. It has been so long ago. If any one knows what the heck I'm talking about that would be great. My husband who is older than me thinks I'm making the movie up.
