Saw it sometime in the late 70' s to mid 80's on tv. Don't know if it was a real movie or a made for tv movie. All I can remember was it was kinda like a war movie but it was about two guys(soldiers) on an island trying to kill each other. I think one was an american and the other was foreign. One guy seemed to be hiding in a cave at one point. Not sure if they were seting booby traps either.

I think this was a film set in Africa or somewhere with rocks/desert type country setting. I think the actor was either Richard Harris or someone with blond hair. I do not remember all the story except he was the last person left surrounded by baboons and he had to dominate them and in the end he was getting older and the youngest male dominant baboon had a fight with him and killed him and then they all joined in to eat him. Sorry I cannot remember any of the other actors but I think it was made in the 1960's colour film.

I saw this movie around 1980-81 on either HBO or Cinemax....All I remember are two scenes. The first is a man and woman driving down a wooded road in a station wagon. A young boy/girl is standing in the road, and the couple swerves to keep from hitting the child. They look back, and the child is gone (a ghost perhaps). The second scene I recall, is an older man (possibly a priest) on a roof of the house featured in the film. The house was 3 stories or more. The 1st story roof had either a weathvane or roof spire. The old person slips (or is pushed by a spirit), and falls, landing head first onto the spike. Any idea what the heck movie this is? A friend said it might be Burnt Offerings, but I don't think it is.

I am trying to trace a film - Italian or possibly Spanish. A man is murdered during a film showing at the local cinema. He is shot dead. Police arrive and stage a reconbstruction. The person playing the poart of the murder victim is also shot dead. They establish that the shot was fired from behind the screen. The film continues and it transpires taht the shot didn't come from behind the screen - it came from the screen - the cowboy on the screen starts shooting the audience. Surreal stuff (like La Cabina) but brilliant.

Hi, this film has been "haunting" me. I saw it in the 80s, it may have been a 60s or 70s film. I saw it on TV in Boston. My TV was black and white, so I don't know if this movie was. The film is about this Little Boy(whose parents dress as a girl. The child is between 6 and 9, I would say, his parents, the mother I recall mostly, give him injections that they keep in the refridgerator to turn him into a girl, well the boy, becomes evil from this and goes crazy. Anyway, I mostly remember the mom getting the injections from the fridge for the boy and it completely freaked me out. I believe the story was basically that she wanted a little girl and not a little boy, and the horror that insued when she tried to interfere with what nature had given her.

I saw this movie as a child in mid-eighties, on t.v., but I think it was originally a theatrical release. It was in color, most likely made in the eighties or late seventies. The scenes I remember involve a little boy, his father, and a witch. I remember the boy fighting with something under his or in his closet. He runs to tell his dad, who I think is watching t.v. or reading. The dad doesn't believe him, sends him back to bed. I think he stops by the bathroom and there is the creepiest witch ever standing/or hovering in there. The kid runs back to his room (I think), and the dad comes in to check on him. As the dad tries to reassure the kid, the witch enters, and the father turns as the witch raises her hand to his face, at which point I think he just screams. I'm pretty sure the film ends here, but again lapses in memory could be providing faulty information.

Before I begin, this is NOT "The Last Unicorn." I own that and I think I would know if that is what this was. This is another animated feature, late 70s, early 80s about a very small unicorn that is on a quest. I remember mostly the rocking horse scene, where the little unicorn had to talk to a very large rocking horse, but the horse wanted to be cleaned first. I also remember a scene where the unicorn and whoever it was traveling with had gotten to a cave and there were wierd creatures in the cave. One of the creatures looked like a purple blob, and tried to eat the unicorn's horn. There was an evil wizard of some sort, and near the end of the movie there were these stacking block people - I think that was what the wizard was turning everyone into. I was very small when I saw this movie, so I don't remember much more.

This movie came on after school one day in the mid to late 80s. It was about a girl that had a big problem with bulimia. She would throw up her dinners into glass jars and stack them in her closet - which her mom later opens the closet and discovers a ton of glass jars with puke in them. She wore large clothes to cover how thin she was getting. One day, her father came home and found her laying on the bathroom floor with blood all over the place. He rushed her to the hospital - I think she ruptured her esophogus and died. said it was based on a true story.

This is a British film from the 70's or 80's which I saw in the late 70's / early 80's on English TV. So there is a possibility it could have been made for TV. Plot as far as I can remember is as follows. Several couples, maybe 10 people in total, meet up at a large house / mansion in the English country for a weekend break / week's holiday. I think they would all be in their late 20's, early 30's. It is summertime. Film starts off with them meeting up at the house, getting to know each other, exploring the house, exploring the local countryside (I'm sure there's a stream that flows close to them), having meals, etc, etc. All fairly idyllic stuff. However, things then start to get darker. I'm sure one of the women is convinced that someone comes into her room at night. Some of the others are sympathetic to her, some not so. Anyway, the suspense continues in this vein until it eventually becomes evident that the house is being 'stalked' by a doll that comes to life.

I saw a movie in the early seventies, between 1971 - 1975 in a movie theatre. It was in black and white. It was about a little girl who kept running away. She was about six or seven and was befriended by two animal charaters in costume. I want to say an alligator and wolf, but I can't be sure. They lived in the woods and when she was found by guards, she was taken to a king, where he placed a mole on her neck, to mark her for running away. The little girl reminded me of shirley temple but I've searched her movies and nothing seems to match. I read the found pages and my answer isn't there either.

I only remember bits and pieces of a movie I watched on a movie channel (HBO, Cinemax, etc.)It was sometime in the early 80s so the film could have been made then or slightly earlier (late 70s). I thought the title was something like "The Devil's Ring" but I haven't been able to find anything. There are two scenes that stick out. One involved a young woman (blonde I think) jumping or falling into an indoor swimming pool (think art deco) and she couldn't penetrate the surface ... it wasn't frozen ... just solid. The hero saw her but when he jumped in the water it was back to normal and she was dead. The second scene involved the main character - a woman with dark hair (I think) and all I can remember is that she was reaching behind a curtain (like one used for privacy when someone is sick)and "the Devil" (or whatever it was) placed his ring on her finger. I can't remember the consequences of this ... stealing her soul, wedded for eternity, plans for a devil child.

I watched this in the mid-90s, but it might have been an 80s or even 70s flick.. I remember that the heroine is at the house of an older couple who act very strangely. She discovers a huge nest of monsters/aliens in the basement (they're small, fleshy, slimy, not your 'walk on two legs and mutter scary things before they eat you' type). Some of them can glide around, and they attack the woman. Just before she goes down, she wakes up in a hospital room. The older woman (possibly her mother?) comes in and soothes her, telling her it'll be OK. Then things devolve into weirdness, the woman pulls the blanket down, revealing that the heroine has one arm and no legs, and has been impregnated by one of the alien/monsters. The walls start to ooze something, and basically the whole scene switches back to the woman being tortured by these things. I believe that was the end.

I need help finding a movie that I'd seen on tv when I was younger, maybe about 1995, give or take. I caught the movie about halfway through. I think it was american made, but I'm not sure. I don't remember the actors. The time period was very vega. I think it took place around the 80's or the 90's. I remember a scene where a couple of people are in a building or lab and they see a mysterious creature. They don't know what to make of it and they approach it. One of them says "It looks like a baboon"or something like that. Then the creature attacks and kills most or all of them. I remember another scene where a group of kids are on their bikes and in or near the woods. Either one of the kids sees the creature or the creature ambushes them, and the kids take off riding for their lives. The creature gets the boys one by one, until there are a couple of boys left. One chubby boy is a little further behind the other boys, and they say either "come on Piggy"or "run Piggy". The monster gets Piggy and all the other boys except for maybe one or two of them. Either the monster chases the remaining boy(s), or it ends up at their house. The boy then sees the creature in the house by (perhaps the washer and dryer), and the boy runs up stairs along with his dog and a woman(possibly his mother, friend, etc.). The woman goes out of the upstairs window and jumps to a truck below and gets in. The monster nears the boy and dog, and the dog barks and (possibly engages the creature). Somehow the boy and dog both make it out the window and jump down into the back of the truck and the woman speeds away. They somehow end up in the country at night in either a (shack, house,etc.). The creature somehow manages to find them there. The monster ends up fighting with the dog, picking the dog up and throwing it through a winshield. I think that there was either a bonfire or other conflicts that started the fire, but the (boy or woman) either one kill the monster, with a shotgun or other. The creature was near the fire and the glare made the dead creature visible. I think the dog eventually lived.

The movie I'm looking for I saw on late night TV this year, though I am fairly sure it is roughly ten years old. I didn't remember(or recognise) any of the actors in the film, and it seemed mildly low budget and had fairly poor acting. The plot went vaguely like this:Some time ago, a film director attempted to make a horror movie. This movie was set to be the most horrifying, and blockbusting film ever attempted(faugh). However, something went wrong during filming, and all but two(?) of the cast were brutally murdered, of course causing a halt on production, and the film to be suspended indefinitely. Now, some time later, a budding producer(director? something..) has heard of and obtained a copy of the script and is attempting to finish what this other fellow started. Suffice to say, all hell breaks loose again. The murderer is some form of.. uhh... film demon. It starts out by possessing the character playing the role of the murderer in the film.. that they.. are making(I hate movies about movies.) whenever he puts on the mask.Gradually, as the film nears completion, it manifests itself and goes on a killing spree, untill they vanquish it by burning the reels of film that it appears to be drawing its power from. (cue melting man scene.)The killer, whether in it's possession or manifest state, wears a white latex mask, and carries around a large pair of unevenly bladed scissors which he uses to good effect.I'm sorry I cannot provide any more information, as I was rather tired at the time. The reason I'm after this film is because it reminded me a lot of the Clock Tower series of games on the playstation.

somewhere mid-60's to early 70's in a theater.i think it was about people and their driving habits on the road/street.there was no speech but only engine and tyre (and crash) sound.it must have taken 1000's of film still shots put together to create realistic movement, they were all on their backsides on the tarmac pretending to hold a steering wheel and legs forward controlling imaginary brake/clutch/accelerator.lots of dicing and sharp corners/ hard braking made a bit of smoke come from the drivers' backsides.i think it was about the silly attitude of drivers(then) and the cars were invisible because they had no say in the matter.it was amazing to see these characters zooming along the curved roads on their backsides with only engine and road sounds.it was a "short movie" maybe 20 or 30 minutes.what was it?
Result: The Vampire Lovers This one might be one of the movies inspired by the early vampire novel Carmilla. There is a black and white version from 1932 called Vampyr, and a color version from 1970 called The Vampire Lovers. Both feature women who fall victim to a female vampire and are believed to be suffering from an illness. I don't think that either of them ends with the vampire falling off a cliff, though. Thanx Midnight Creeper. May 5, 2007
Black and white film. I was quite young when I saw it, so I can't remember it very well, and only the last part stand out in my memory. It had two young women, one afflicted by some mystery illness, but what was actually happening was that she was being attacked by the other girl (possibly a sister?), who was a vampire. When the doctor?? and family found out the vampire ran away. I think she died by falling off a cliff and impaling herself on something sticking out of the cliff. Possibly set during wartime.

French film. saw it in 1974-75, it was probably at least 10 years old by then. Features a pair of girl, identical twins, about 8 - 10 years old. Angelic except that they are psycopaths. One scene they crush the head of a man's pet finch. i believe they kill someone too. final scene is them at a school end of term play. they sing a song where one does one line, the other the next in some kind of freeky harmony style. Then they set light to themselves in front of teachers , parents etc because the cops are closing in. Saw it at a college film club, so I don't believe it was anyhting too rare or obscure.

This film had to be 1959 or earlier. I know no actors or actresses names. This was a movie about a nun who had a bad leg and was mistreated very badly by another nun. I believe the name of the nun with the bad leg was Teresa. The mean nun beats on her and does not believe there is anything really wrong with the other nun. Finally she sees her leg and gets upset with herself for mistreating her so badly. She then carries her everywhere. She one nun dies at the end of the movie.
Result: Playhouse 90 (1958) Old Man episode , based on part of a William Faulkner novel and directed by John Frankenheimer, with Sterling Hayden as the convict and Geraldine Page as the pregnant woman. A Cajun character is also featured. This was later filmed in 1997 as the Hallmark movie "Old Man", featuring Arliss Howard and Jeanne Tripplehorn. A plot summary for the latter says: "A convict is enlisted to help save people who are caught in the flood of 1927...He is specifically sent to rescue a young woman in a tree...he does find the woman in the tree, and she's eight and a half months pregnant." Thanx Midnight Creeper. Apr 29, 2007
I would very much like to know the name of a movie that I saw on TV. It was in B&W. The story is about a convict that was sent to help in a relief effort after a sever rain storm. His partner was using his freedom in a bid to escape and later drowned. The main chracter was sucessful in locating a (pregnant)woman that they were sent to rescue from a tree. Due to the severity of the storm he is unable to row upstream so flows all the way to the Louisiana Bayou area. One sceen that still haunts me is that of a Cajun man playing an accordion. He sang what seems to me a most beautiful melody in Cajun French. I didn't understand the words but it was a most haunting melody. He later returns with the lady and is almost shot by the warden who thinking he was dead sought to cast his prison in a good light by making him a posthumous hero only to have have him return.

I watched the first 15 minutes or so of a scary television movie when I was a young boy (only because the babysitter let me) and I was not allowed to watch the rest becuase it was something I probably should not have been watching. I have been trying to find out what the movie was ever since. What I remember: It had to have been in the 70's when I saw the movie, probably mid 70's is a guess. The first scene I remember is a man showing (I believe a couple) something in his barn. It ended up being a freeky looking dead flying creature. I think it looked somewhat like a monkey, but not sure. The only other scene I remember is that they then left this man's home, driving in a car, and out their car window they see, (what must have been the angry spouse of this dead creature in the barn) flying in the moonlight. It landed on the roof of their car, with its claws breaking the glass, I believe on each side of the car, and it caused them to wreck the automobile.

It's a children's movie, and it's about a little girl and her brother.. she is maybe 12ish, he is younger. They find a magical jeweled necklace in their attic and somehow are transported to a magical forest land. I THINK the movie is 80's, maybe early 90's era. In the forest land, they find a big giant's chair, and meet this guide creature (I think it's a caterpillar.. it's a puppet ((Definitely NOT Labyrinth though!!)) which tells them about this giant that's sleeping, that can help them get home. They decide they have to go see him and wake him up, but the caterpillar thing tells them it's a bad idea. They encounter a witch (who's also a puppet) and her dad, who is also a puppet but just a head, no body. (Maybe yellow?) The witch has some kind of problem with the giant or something.. anyway, the giant has this big wall of little tv monitors that show children all over the world, that are supposed to have jewelry like the little girl and her brother do, because he takes care of kids all over the world or something. And the witch up in her tower has one of the monitor things she stole from the giant a long time ago, and uses it as a crystal ball. Anyway, so they have to go wake up the giant and get him to fit the necklace into this big stone thing that has facets for all the jewelry of the kids all over the world, and there's magic and they get sent home or something, and no time has passed in the real world. Some other random bits and pieces: I think the giant might have something to do with bubbles. I also remember at some point when the witch is after the kids and their guide thingy, when they're crossing like, a cliff and ravine thing on a rope but instead of water, there's yellow paint. I don't THINK it's Jim Henson, but I'm not sure. I know it's not Fraggle Rock, Eureka's Castle, The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth or anything like that.

It was about a wealthy woman who was really arrogant until she began to lose her eyesight and lost her zest for life. But her doctor began to help her and she even fell in love with him. They married but she didn't have a long time for live and he told her that. When she knew that it was time, she sent him on an errand to town so she could spare him of watching her die. The last scene i remember was her seeing him ride away in a carriage and her falling down on a couch/bed crying and it ends with her dying.

I recall a made for TV movie (I think it was made for TV; it may have been a regular movie shown on TV) from the mid to late 1970's. It was about a guy who was paralyzed in some kind of accident (I believe it was a car accident) that was caused by several other "bad" guys. The paralyzed character was a scientist of some sort, and he created this mechanism inside of his truck in which he'd put on this suit which allowed him to walk. He then exacted revenge on those guys who caused his accident. For some reason the movie creeped me out- at 5 or 6 years old, the concept of paralysis was especially scary for some reason.

It was a scary TV series shown sometime in about 1987 to the early 1990's, on CBBC in England. I can remember one part had 2 children in their beds it was dark, one of them was lying on their back staring at the ceiling and their eyes started glowing green, then I stopped watching. Then another time I saw it there was a boy in the house in the daytime in the hall, and someone like his mother was in the kitchen talking to him she couldn't see him and he was standing there and his eyes were glowing bright green again. I can remember the TV presenter said something about the green eyed monster but that's not the title of the program. Another time I think it was the same program there was a person standing outside with sunglasses and they took them off, I think it had scary music as well.

I watched this film in Britain in either the late 70's or early to mid 80's. It was colour and was set in America in a large city - possibly New York. The main charater was a bald guy - When I think of it now I picture Yul Brynner but it wasn't him. There were a lot of strange sequences in the film - when the character left the apartment building he lived in he would come out of the entrance to see a lorry/truck pulling away from the kirb - the advertisement on the side of the truck was ripped and flapping in the breeze - it was picture of a woman in red lipstick. He saw this a few times in different places in the city - I remember that this was showing something that would happen in the future. The film had some dreamy sequences in it, where the guy would wake up in bed and his surroundings seemed to have changed and once he woke up and the room seemed to be on fire around him.

I really thought it was called "Red Riding Hood" or something similar but so far that has yeilded no results, so I must be mistaken. I also remember his wife killing herself by bashing her head on her tub faucet, after being told (by police?) that her husband was looking at dirty magazines (of young girls) or actually sexually assaulting them.

About a year ago (2005) I saw a film on TV late at night and I'm dying to find out what it was. I did find out once, but now I don't remember. For some reason I think it might have the word 'blue' or something similar in the title. Anyway, it was in colour and I didn't see all of it, but basically what was happening was there was a man whose hands was possessed and started moving around of their own accord, then they chopped each other off and went crawling away. There was a scene in a hospital that had loads of similar disembodied hands scuttling down the corridor, probably causing bloody havoc on the way. Then all the hands followed this guy (may have been the same guy, I don't remember) up to the top of a building, and there was a cop climbing the ladder up the side of the building, but his hands froze up and he couldn't move. Then the guy on the building with all the hands threw his arms out and said something like "I am the Messiah!" then jumped off the building. Then, after a moment's pause and sort of peering over the edge of the buildings, all the hands started throwing themselves off the building, landing with a strange squelchy noise on the wet street below. When they were taking the body away, I think one of the hands sneaked into the ambulance to talk to the other hand and was saying about how it was going to free it, I'm not sure. Then at the end of the film it sort of became some guy talking to a fortune teller... And then there was a woman brushing her hair in the mirror and her nose started wiggling all weirdly, like it was possessed, then she picked up a massive pair of scissors which she held up to her nose, and just as she shut them, the film blacked out and ended.

And we'll stay by them Bonnie or Vonnie" or something like that and she was a schizo or something and was going to kill someone with those scissors. I think it was in black and white and it may have had a big name leading lady in it like Joan Crawford or Betty Davis because I always had this film mixed up with "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane", but I've since watched that film and this scene isn't in it, so now I am really confused about what film had the singing old lady in it.
