I saw this movie on TV a few years back.It seemed like a movie from 70s/80s.I think it is made up of short stories.The story that i saw revolves around a boy who lives with a carnival.He has the ability to eat sharp objects like blades.The carnival/Freak show is run by a gypsy woman who also is a fortune teller.So this boy falls in love with a girl from outside.This is not liked by the gypsy woman.She warns the girl that if they met again she would kill the boy.Once when the boy tries to make out with the girl his hand hurts,he finds that his hands bleeding and they stop.The boy runs away from the carnival with the girl.They stay at a roadside motel.So they try to make out again.Then the boy starts feeling uneasy.Then all of a sudden all the blades and sharp objects that he has eaten all these years come out through his skin tearing him from inside out and there's blood all over.Thats all that i remember of the movie.It think its rights are owned by MGM because i saw the movie on ZEE-MGM(now ZEE-Studio) a movie channel in India.

When I was a kid I saw a commercial for a horror film in color about a painting of a man. I think it may have come out in the 70's. I remember the man in the picture had a beard. One scene I can recall was someone in a bathroom taking a bath and the walls started to close in on the person. I think the man's name in the painting is either Richard or Martin. The painting in the movie made scary things occur.

This is a movie at the end of WWII. It is about a young boy that is obsessed with vampire comics who thinks his lonely widow neighbor is a vampire. His brother comes home from the military and he is suffering from radiation poisoning from the bombs of hiroshima. The older brother starts dating the widow and the younger brother mistakens the radiation poisoning for the widow turning his brother into a vampire. I believe it came out in the late 80's. I think it is a foreign movie but it is set in the rural united states. I saw it around 1990-1991.

I think this movie was from the late 80's or 90's. It was a cartoon and it started off with a little boy on his bed flying then a train appeared and was chasing him on his bed. It turned out it was a dream and in reality there was a fair going on that day. The rest of the movie seems real but it is actually a dream. The only other thing I remember is that he met little creatures in the woods somewhere. It was a good childrens movie.

my son and i saw this movie 2 times in the late 70's or 80's saw it on t.v. maybe a made for t.v.?it was a real tear-jerker.think also in black & white we can't seem to rember who the male star was. it was either before or after some diaster maybe war. we don't rember what happened to the mother but the son's somehow where all in a hospital or an orphanage? the father went searching for them we think there were 4 boys, seems like one of the boys walked with some sort of limp, had a brace on foot. and somehow that was a clue to the father.

The film I am searching for had I believe was made between 1980 and 1987. It is a kid's film in color. It's about a boy (played by someone I think in his early 20's) who has some kind of space-ship given monster haunting his bedroom. The entire film is in his bedroom, which is completely white and the furniture is what looks like cardboard pieces, so the set looks sort of like a stage play. There are musical pieces in the story. When the "monster" makes his presence known, the white furniture will glow a different color, such as red or blue. I remember being slightly scared as a young child, but I don't think it's meant to be a scary movie. I think the title might have something with "wobble" or "woo" or "wibble" or something ridiculous in it, but nothing has come up in my searches.

This is a film from the late 70's, early 80's that my elementary school would show regularly during assembly. It was about a young boy who lived in an apartment building. At school one day, he writes the name of the school bully over an evolutionary chart on the hallway wall. Said bully finds out and pursues a fight. The fight does occur and I remember the movie ending with the boy looking in the bathroom mirror, on which he writes the words: "I'm still here".If I remember correctly, he lived with only his mom, but had befriended an older gentleman in the building.

I am looking for a short film that was shown on Kentucky Educational TV in the 1970's. It was a silent film about a boy who loses his dog and searches everywhere for him. This is an Italian film that I saw in the early 2000s. It has a girl that goes on vacation to the shore with her aunt. The girl desperately wants to lose her virginity and that's all she can whine about the whole trip. I'm looking for a movie I watched during the 1980s on tv. It involved a group stuck on an island. The island was not tropical, more pacific northwest. I'm not sure if the group was a family - there may have been some family members. There were adults, two, and then teenagers and younger kids. And a dog. Maybe 6-8 people. I remember scenes where they fish in a river, they get chased down the beach by a bear, the youngest girl almost drowns and the perform CPR, and the two adults seem to fall in love.

I had saw this film 10 years ago. it was i think late 80's or early 90's film. i didn't seen the begining, only i had seen the end. The movie I'm looking for, some creatures are stalking this one girl, and are killing anyone who gets in their way, the only thing that they are afriad of that could kill them is water, I do remember a scence where they attack her and her boyfriend in a fan, the next day the boyfriends sister thought she had something to do with her brothers death and trys to beat her up, but is stop by a boy who has acrush on her, and like all 80's film the monsters crash the school dance (I beleive it's a costume party) the monsters crashes it, and the only other person who knows how to kill them gets the firehose.

I saw this film at a movie theater in the late '60s or early '70s. I believe it was color due to the amount of red blood I witnessed and I THINK it was British - but that's debatable. I don't remember any names or anything important as I was quite young. It just scared me very badly!! A group of students, male & female, spend a night in a house in London (or at least a city), searching for something (maybe thinking it was haunted?), where one by one they are being murdered. Lots of blood, as I recall! One of the last 2 guys left realizes it's gotta be the other guy who's killing everyone off so he confronts him. The murderer confesses while he is holding a large knife in his hand. The other guy walks closer to him telling him to please hand over the knife. It seems like the murderer is going to give up & hand over the weapon but at the last second he stabs his "friend" in the stomach & blood pours out - shoots out - his mouth. I remember he looks completely shocked that he was just killed. I've discussed this movie with my siblings & none of us can recall the name of it.

I remember watching a movie in the late 1960s/early 1970s on TV. There are two distinct things I recall--one is a pentagram painted on the floor of a room in a house and the other is that some of the characters in the movie (I believe there were four main ones) were all ceramic artists and their work spaces were all lined up along a wall. One by one, the artists disappeared and if memory serves correct, there was a finished piece of pottery as each one disappeared and I think you could see the image of the artist in his/her piece. I think I remember, too, that at one point in the movie, there was a storm one night and there was a woman and a child cowering in the middle of the pentagram. I think the room this was in may have even been the child's bedroom.

Looking for a film from the 1960's..most likely around 1965-1967. What I can remember is an old granny who is always seen rocking in her rocking chair knitting. She has 3 sons or grandsons. She would get mad at townspeople & send the boys out to kill then. Finally the youngest son/grandson gets a conscience & refuses to kill anymore. This sets off a fight between the brothers & they all attack & kill each other. The big climax is a shot of the granny rocking in her chair, dead, with her knitting needles stuck through her neck.

ok i saw this movie about 98 0r 99 somwhere in there. The movie was on lifetime. I dont remember anything about the title but i can give a pretty good discrption about the movie. so it starts at a dance recital. there is a girl dancing on the stage and her mother and sister are watching. after the recital is over, the dad shows up. the dancing girl is mad at him for missing her recital. on the way home they get into a BIG care accident that kills the dancing girl. I know that she flew through the front window. Time goes by, and the dad cant get over what has happend. So he goes out searching for her in someway. He learns about this place that a lot of little kid ghosts(?) go to and play because it is magical there. He ends up talking to his daughter after a long time.

(Sounds Like Road Warrior? - me)A film from the early to mid 1980's, post-WWIII (or equivelant). Our hero drives a dirt-bike, the bad guys (led I thought by George Peppard) have a super semi-truck and search for, of course, a source of gasoline, which the good tribe has. The opening scene is of an abandonded gas station in the middle of a waste-land with pump prices of about $15.00/liter, through which the semi drives. The good guy is a loner who somehow comes to help the spineless good guys and saves the day. The good guys' fuel is cached underground through a pump that rises from the dust. At the end, hero rides his bike into the semi at the end, and jumps clear while Peppard-look-alike rides truck over a tall cliff.

I saw it on television (possible a Life Time movie, or maybe on a british network). It starred an actress who resembled (in my opinion) Isabella Rosalini (more so her mom- Ingrid Bergman - whose hair was lighter). The movie is about a mother who was divorced from her husband. She awaken on this particular morning, prepared breakfast for she and her little boy. She walked him out to the front of their home and watched him walk off to school. She watched him until he turned the corner. Later, she was sitting a her kitchen table and prepared and sat down at her kitchen table and starting drinking a cup of tea. She looked at her watch (or perhaps a clock on the wall) and realized her little boy should be home from school. She then called another mother and asked her to ask her child about her son's whereabouts. This mother's child said that the little boy wasn't at school that day. Panic evolved. I think the mother's friend came over to her home, but I know the police was called. At first, a younger man who rented a room in the mother's home was suspected of the crime because boys underwear stained with blood was found in his room (he defiantly denied anything to do with the crime). I could go on and on, but I'll jump to almost the end of the movie. There was an elderly black woman who called the police during the start of the investigation, and reported that the little boy they were looking for was next door to her home. But, she her report was disregarded because she was considered a senial old woman was had called before and said that "...she had seen Elvis." The policeman who headed the investigation(who was a key actor in the movie)headed out on this eventful day to spend time with his own son. Driving on the highway/freeway, he passed up his exit and acted upon the mother's previous cry for him to investigate the elderly woman's report and proceeded on to the home of this elderly woman. The policman left his little boy in the car while he went to knock on the woman's door. When she opened the door she said "...it's about time you showed up. I've been calling and calling about that little boy". As the man was walking up to the house next door, he spotted in the driveway a "blue car" that had been reported seen in the neighborhood by another witness early on in the investigation. He went to the door and knocked. The missing little boy actually answered the door!!!!! The policeman asked him what his name was, but he said nothing. Come to find out the boy was kidnapped by the man in that house because he worked and needed someone to be in the house to be with his mother. (In the end), The most touching moment in the movie was when the mom is seen walking up the street towards her home with a bag of groceries She looked up towards all the chaos happening in the street by her home. The policman had pulled up to the front of her home (having been escorted by other law enforcement agents who were touched by the whole event). Another precious moment was when the policeman's little boy turned and looked at the kidnapped boy in such a loving and understanding way. The mom then stopped looked, obviously recognizing the policeman after he had stepped out of his car. And then, her little boy got out of the car and stood there looking towards her. The mom dropped her bag of groceries and began running to her son. The movie ends with her embrassing him, with everyone looking on.

I'm trying to find the name of this movie that I saw in the mid 80's (I think). It's color. what I remember of it was this guy's girlfriend (or wife) dies (I think he kills her) and burys her body parts but they come back to life and haunt him. It was more of a comical movie I beleive. I remember the hand was trying to choke him and it was green with a red ring on it. I believe that the song Tainted love was played in the movie.

hi, im looking for a movie which was two part (might have been a drama), this was on i think in 1997-1998. There is a young girl of 8-9 years of age with long curly blond hair, she is playing in a park with a red coat on, there she is kidnapped by a man named michael, he has long hair and wears a long coat in the movie/drama. While he is chating to the girl in the park he is drunk and kidnaps her, abuses her sexually, physically and then strips her and places her in a tube, with her head on her knees, due to lack of air she dies, when police find her, they first find a shoe of hers then find her in the tube. Michael(the kidnapper) is caught striaght away, due to an old woman seeing him chating to the young girl in the park, all through his interrogation he denies kidnapping the girl. The end part i remember he gets sentenced to life, and his lawyer comes to his cell, by this time his hair has been chopped off as well. he says to his lawyer i didnt kill her, she replies, 'yes you did michael, yes you did!'.

This is a scary movie, with killing, and nudity, in color. I was waaaay too young to be watching it. It was on HBO in the late 80's. I'm pretty sure of this because we didn't have HBO for very long because of movies like this. It's about this creepy family living in the woods. They might even be cannibals, i'm not sure. Anyway, i really only remember a couple of people being in this movie. This family hides a young lady away from their house, out in the woods. It might even be a little shack or tool shed. I think others were killed, but they kept her around and tied up. I don't remember the actors... but there is this one guy who i have only seen in small roles in tales from the crypt or something.. He's kind of a creepier, balder, blonder, uglier version of John C. Reilly. I THINK i remember one scene where the curly-bald guy is with the girl when he's not supposed to be. She's standing up, with her hands tied up and i think he kisses her. He might even rape her and someone gets mad. I faintly remember the family members fighting over her. I have searched and searched. I have read through this site and many others. I checked out "mother's day", "hunter's blood" and i don't think it's either of those. I also don't think it's "flesh and blood". All 3 of those movies have a couple of things in common with the movie i'm looking for, but i'm pretty positive it's not any of them. I think it was supposed to take place in the 70's or 80's, in some backwoods house.

I watched this on Tv. A young woman and husband returns to her family home in the country. From the upstairs window of the house or barn, someone is watching her arrival. As she is greeted by a caretaker and moves away from their car, a young woman (maybe housekeeper's daughter) rummages thru their suitcases and she pulls out a pair of nylons (not pantyhose) dashes off to barn(?) and begins to try them on. Someone is watching her she's attacked and you see her with slash marks all over body. Later on in movie there's like flashbacks of when the woman who had returned was either a small girl or baby and in the middle of the night her parents are awaken asking if the other had remembered to lock the red(?) door. I think it ends up being the young woman's deranged older sister who's still chained in an attic room.

I saw a film which I think was made in the late seventies. It was set in the future the people lived in this sealed community which was governed by leaders which I think were all old men. All the people were told not to have children otherwise they would be killed one couple ended up pregnant they hid it from everyone and hatched a plan to escape. At the end of the film they escaped through a tunnel which led out to the ocean. I saw this film on tv I dont remember anyones names who were in it except he girl had really long hair.

As with many people searching for old forgotten generation X horror films, I only remember bits and pieces. So here goes, group of teens get trapped inside an old haunted house. They start seeing an elderly woman, and split up to investigate. Of course the killings start happening. Memorable to me is the elderly woman lures one of the teens by saying "come on...it's your turn". He follows and as he comes around the corner she slaps him. The slap was so hard it burned a hand print on his face as well as killing him. Another memorable killing was a teen attempting to escape the house by climbing out of a broken window. He's about half way out and the window becomes haunted and proceeds to cut him in half. I believe the dead teens come back and attempt to help granny kill off the rest of the friends. Also one of the characters is a bad boy, dressed in camo and a red bandana, curly dark hair, he's the one that gets it from the window. Late 1970's or early 1980's time period. Color.

Saw this film in about 1982 on VHS. Main thing I can remember is this - woman is escaping from attacker, goes into a house where all furniture is covered with white sheets. She hides under one but pees herself upon seeing a rat (no, it is NOT Friday 13th II!'). Killer has a pitchfork (see before). 'Hero' type (policeman?) tries to save woman - comes running up stairs but is impaled on flying pitchfork which pins him to bannister. I have a feeling that the woman is pregnant and is trying to keep the attacker from taking her baby but this may be a red herring!

I'm trying to figure out a movie that my mom saw when she was a kid. The movie was either a 50s or early 60s horror movie. The part I remember her telling me was some sort of goo or blob in a cave maybe and a guy or two guys going into the cave. Okay...the movie I am looking for I saw on I think Showtime in the mid 90's. I remember a girl in an alley all beat up in more than one scene. More importantly, the movie was about a newspaper ad of an offer of something a bit like The Real World or more like Big Brother where they cannot leave the house. I saw this film on tv in the early eighties. It had a really white man with black sunglasses who drove a hearse. There was an old lady who died. He snapped her over his knee. Another man was put in a wheelchair because the chimney on fell on him or bricks from the house. They lived in a really big house. The man with sunglasses resembled a young john travolta. I'm looking for a horror film that was possibly either an 80s or 70s movie..I remember seeing this movie on an old video type that my grandmother recorded...and don't know where it is..but I never found out the name of the movie...don't know any actors or actresses names...I saw this movie when I was young...but I can remember certain parts of the movie only...if I'm correct there was a group of teenagers that we in some type of crash or something...I can remember a death scene where a girl was on a swing on a cliff and the person that is pushing her goes out of control and she falls to her death...then I remember a scene where a guy that watching from a door key hole gets killed by someone jabbing a rod or something into his eye...then I remember there was a guy that was mentally ill...and he takes two or one of the girls and rapes them...then killing her...and lastly...I kind of remember a scene where the main character which was a girl....after seeing all of her friends dead...she gets revenge on the family and kills them all...she was wearing like a pink dress...and it had something to do with her birthday of some sort...

It's a take on the old monster-in-the-closet. The problem is, there was another episode that was so similar, that all my searches find that one instead -- not the one I am looking for. The key is this: The one I am looking for is about a boy and his mean, disbelieving mother -- not the one about the boy and his mean, disbelieving father!It was a long time ago when I saw it (on television), so the details are unfortunately sketchy. I think it was probably during the late 80s. It was in color. It could possibly have been during the early 90s, but I doubt it. I think it was an episode of one of those cable horror series, something like "Tales from the Darkside" or "Tales from the Crypt". Unfortunately, I don't think it was one of those two (not 100 percent sure though). I'm not finding it in their episode guides. I'm also not 100 percent sure that it was one of those at all (I guess it could have been a vignette in a horror film)! But that's how I remember it -- I used to watch all of those series during the 80s. I'm pretty sure it was a short story.The main character is a boy who is terrified of a monster that lives either in his closet or maybe behind one of the walls in his room. This monster is pretty big and nasty. It may have had glowing red eyes but it's hard to remember exactly. But it was big with claws and fangs. The boy lives with his mother. I don't remember any other characters. The mother shrugs off his warnings and cries for help and acts like a real bitch about it! So, it makes it all the more fun when she finally finds out the hard way that the kid was telling the truth! At the end of the show, she is in the boy's room after having ignored the kid one too many times. So as you might guess, the monster pops out and attacks her. She may have been poking around the very same closet when it made its appearance -- I'm not positive, but I seem to recall her "pushing her luck" by agitating it. It knocks her down and drags her by the legs (or possibly the arms) into the closet (or possibly some other hole in the wall), and all you see at the end is the door closing behind her. It was quite graphic and scary! Sorry, but, I can't remember what happened to the boy.There apparently was another episode of one of these shows that was very similar, only it was about a boy who lived with a father-figure, not a mother-figure. The movie I refer to must be from the 60's or early 70's; not sure though for I saw it around 1975 on TV when I was about 12. I think it was in color. The keys scenes I remember were a skull rolling down the stairs of a large house (possibly a mansion) and a woman looking through a window, observing one (or more, not sure) paintings being burn on a pile outside. Unfortunately that's all, but it was a movie that was, at least for me at that time, one of greatest impact in terms of horror.

Movie I rented in the early 90's or late 80's at an out of the way movie rental place. Movie could have been quite a bit older than that. Three boys blow up a bullfrog with air? and wait til a lady walks along and sees it, then they slingshot it and blow it up all over her. Main boy goes home and some night he is thirsty but not allowed to get a drink- his father gets angry and makes him drink gallons of water til he pees himself. Later in the film the father goes out to the gas pump he runs, dowses himself with gas, and lights himself on fire while boy sees it. I believe the boy is told at some point not to visit a house somewhere maybe because the lady in it is seen to be a witch. He goes anyway. The movie ends with the boy running blindly into a field crying I believe. I have a feeling that the main part of the movie was about the witch and the house, but I don't remember much about it.

I saw a film playing at the base theatre in Jacksonville, Florida in early 1971. The movie is about a family in England, I think, that has to make their way to the north of England to his brother's compound to survive because the world was in a everyone for himself stage. Father, Mother, Daughter and wimpy boyfriend have to fight their way trying to illude a motorcycle gang. They meet others along the way that help them fight off the bad guys. The girls get raped and the wimpy boyfriend gets killed. They kill the motorcycles gang members who attacked the girls and at the end the brother won't let the others that helped them in the compound. The brother is killed in the end for all to enter.

I saw this movie on HBO in the late 80's, maybe 86-89. It's about this boy who has always known there was something different about himself and he never really fit in. I think i remember him getting into a fight with a jock at school. I think he might be a hermaphrodite (sp?), or gay, or even just a cross dresser. I remember one scene, i believe it's towards the end... He is now a she. Well, he's dressed as a girl with a short skirt on and i think he's wearing a cast and has crutches. I saw this film just a couple of years ago on tv. It was set pretty much in modern times i think(sorry I really don't remember a lot about it). It involved a guy who pretended to have a split personality. He was on trial for murder, and managed to fool everyone, even his own lawyer that he had a split personality. He aparently can't remember things when he is this other personality. So at the end when he is talking to his lawyer, he has been cleared of murder and he says something that he remembers that he shouldn't, and his lawyer realises he has been lying, but can't do anything as he can't be retrialed.

The movie was probably made in the 1970's or 80's, And is NOT titled "The Stuff." That much I do know. It took place in a haunted/posessed house where all of the plumbing was messed up. I think the people inside were new owners. one scene I remember is this white goo comes up out of the tub (or it might have been the toilet) and grabs one of the kids. Okay the movie I am looking for should have been made in the nineties because I saw it when I was a child and it looked around the time period. I'm not to sure of the exact plot but I can tell you what I remember. There is a young woman who can stick a sword through her stomach without dying as long as she never falls in love. She meets this man and then she leaves him because she doesn't want to fall in love but then when she performs the sword trick she bleads to death because she fell in love with the man. I'm pretty sure that the woman was white with short dark hair and she was lanky if I remember correctly.

I am looking for the name of a movie I saw in the early to mid '70's. I watched it on a B&W tv, but I am quite certain it was originally B&W. I seem to remember it being British. It was about some very young kids (elementary age?) at school. One of the young boys and one of the young girls wanted to get married. The movie basically revolved around them trying to get married and the school administration attempting to stop it. (It is mainly my memory of the school administrators that make me think it is a British film; I remember them all wearing black robes over their street clothes.) In the end you find out that the little kids' idea of being married simply meant to be able to spend all day together (I remember something about them spending an afternoon at the ocean) and being friends. I remember alot of funny situations involving the kids and their classmates running all around the city (London?) and foiling the school officials. I keep connecting the name Melanie or Melodie with the little girl. I also believe that some of the music from the film was popular on the radio at the time; I keep hearing Crosby Stills Nash & Young music every time I focus on the movie scenes I remember. I think one of the songs was actually about the little girl and used her name. My brothers, sisters and I just rolled with laughter watching this, but none of them have any recollection what so ever.

All i can remember about the movie was there was this little boy and he lived in a small town but there was something with the water. You couldn't drink the water. This movie is from the 80's and it is in color and was made on a very small budget. It kind of looks like it could be taking place in New Jersey along a river. A guy that looks like Avery Schreiber, the comedian from the 70's, falls into a river and comes out a bigger incredible hulk looking version of himself but kills men and attacks women and then ends up killing them. Not one of the cast can act their way out of a paper bag. I remember a movie in which a wife? and her husband are out walking at night and she's nagging him or something. They end up standing directly beneath a tall monument with a stone eagle/bird/thing at the top, and it ends up tumbling off and crushing her. Saw this movie on T.V. in very early 80's or possibly late 70's, so for technical sake we are talking maybe from 1979 to 1981, though the movie as I recall looked as if it was made in the late 60's. It was in color, set on an island. All I can rememeber is the end where some half crazed guy has built a raft to sail off this island where he and others have apparently been stranded, the others are trying to stop him but he wont listen and jumps on the raft and starts floating out, then some white cell looking things (really bad effect) in the water start to eat him alive to the point of there being just a skeleton at the end. Then I think thats where it ends with just a big THE END over the raft sailing away or something like that.

I saw a Black and White movie on TV in the late 70s (I think about 1978, but can't be exact) when I was young and impressionable. I didn't see much of it but it had a lasting effect, I couldn't put my hand where I couldn't see it (i.e. in a hole, or under the bed) for years. What I remember of the movie was a man enters an old house that appears to be empty and calls out (hello, anybody hear, etc.) while looking around. He puts his hand on a table and it gets chopped of. The next shot was the one that really sticks with me, he stands there holding his wrist stump screaming. I don't think there was blood squirting out or anything, so I would imagine it is quite an old movie (plus, if it was shown on Irish TV in the 70's, it must be ancient!). That is all I remember (the trauma or my mum must have blocked out the rest!). I do remember talking about it in school the following day and a classmate had seen more, he said that the guys head was cut off a little while later and rolled down a stairs.

im trying to find a movie that i saw on the sci-fi channel during the late 80's or early 90's,its about a vampire named radu and it had a blood stone that he was searching for.it may have been the third movie in a series about radu.

I saw a movie when I was about 10. I am thinking that this flick was produced in the early, or mid 70's. The plot takes place as a young newlywed couple purchases a new home. What they are unaware of is that the home has a (typical) horrific history. Small beings start showing up, and the wife claims she is seeing things. These creatures are small, bizarre looking and scary, not to mention they can communicate telepathically with their victim/ subject. The wife succumbs to them, and does their bidding by murdering family members, and eventually her husband. At the very end (it doesn't show it, but)she becomes one of the little creatures.

Not much to go on with this one I'm afraid so don't hold much hope. In fact it could have been my own nightmare ..lolAnyway.....night time, dark stairs...lots of tiny gremlins/demons. Not "don't be afraid of the dark" but possibly similar? 1970's?

I'm trying to find a short british (I'm pretty certain it was British) horror film that I think I saw before Saturday Night Fever. It must have been in the early eighties. The plot was about a woman driving through the dark, when she stops to pick up a hitch hiker. The passenger is an old woman, I believe with facial hair, who frightens the woman driver to the point that she stops the car and asks the old lady to check if she has a flat tyre. When the old lady gets out, the woman drives off leaving her behind. Further down the raod, she realises that she has the old lady's bag and takes it to the police station. The officer opens the bag to reveal some really horrible knives! The film then cuts to a man driver who picks up the same woman. I think the last shot is him stopping at some traffic lights. The lights turn green and the old lady gets out and walks off, with the car stationary. Presumably leaving the driver dead.
