Many years ago I watched a movie, in which Richard Thomas starred as the father, of a family. They are sitting down to eat, in their house, when all of a sudden there's a bush fire in the area, so the entire family, except Richard Thomas, leaves for safety. However, the mother and the kids get lost in the smoke, and get out of the car, and incidently are killed in the fire. After the father, Richard Thomas, learnes this, he lockes himself in his office in the house, and starts the tape in his desk recorder, and hears his family that have left a message for him, saying something like, how they once would like to hear him tell about life as a kid, during second world war (I think he portrais a Jew, in the movie), so, he starts to record, and then tell his tale, at which point the movie goes into a flashback to his youth, during the second world war, in Nazi Germany. The movie ends with Richard Thomas shooting himself (I'm not really sure about this, but he definately kills himself), after having finished his story. I can't really remember, if it's a movie, or if it's a mini-series for TV in 2 - 4 episodes. I just remember it was the best thing I could watch, when I was a kid, but now I can't remember what it's called.

This made for TV movie would have been made in the late(very late) 80's or early 90's. It is about a group of teenagers returning from some type of camp (or perhaps a school outing) and the buses they are travelling get caught in a flood. I remember that some did actually get rescued and survived by hanging onto trees and things like that but I remember a few died. I always thought that Candice Cameron was in this movie but when I did a search of her movies it's not there, so maybe it was just someone who was famous and in a similar program at the same time. I kind of remember something about this movie being based on a true story.

i saw this film during the late 90's and it was about a boy who invents a machiene that makes him older than he really is. Once he is older, he gets a job at his high school and finds romance with his teacher. in the end, he realizes he needs to go back to being a kid and reverses the machiene with the help of his best friend. The girl teacher finds out and also uses the machiene becase she's in love with him and wants to be with him, so she becomes younger and goes back to high school. there was also a thing with artichokes being given instead of flowers.

I am not certain if it was a movie or a television episode. It most likely came out in the 80s. It may be a twilight zone episode, (it is some sort of science fiction). It is about a boy who encounters some sort of mythical man (possibly leprichan looking) who tells the boy to save every he owns. The boy does this despite his mother's and everyone else's objections. However, this habit leads to the boys ruin as he gets older. The man curses the leprichan. Eventually the man is trying to fill his old clunker of a car with gas and he is arguing with the attendant because the attendant will not accept his jar of pennies as payment. Next a woman at the gas station in her limmousine spots the jar of change and offers the man $10,000 for the jar as it is some sort of collectable item. He next finds out that all the junk he saved was worth millions on the show ends.

this movie was shown on the disney channel during probably late 80's (1989) or early 90's (90-91) it was in color you can say it was a horror movie. the whole thing is tht theres this kid probably 9 to 13 years old and he goes up this creepy hill where there is an abandon house(FOR SOME REASON I THINK DURONG EARLY IN THE MOVIE HE IS TOLD NO TO GO UP TO THIS HOUSE OR THE HOUSE IS HAUNTED) inside its very creepy he goes UP to the 2nd floor were theres a big mirror, he looks at it, stares for a while and sees something that makes him scream while hes still staring at the mirror. the boy has a sister probably like 15 to 17years old im not sure if she was with him at the moment that this happened but during the rest of the movie they are in many of the scenes. After he sees whatever he saw in the mirror , i guess he went in to shock because his hair starts to fall off till hes completly bald, and has to go through the entire movie wearing wigs and hiding himself because he feels different, plus everyone makes fun of him. Another main character is he's father, the boy doesnt have a mother, but somehow at the end of the movie theyre ALL at the same spot we the mirror is in, inside the abandon house.

Hi I realize that its been a real long time ,but maybe you can help.I am looking for a B-FLICK late 60'searly 70's horror. Could be out of europe. The characters seem to be loosely similar to the AdamsFamily can't remember to much about the plot but I think it was the classic kid go to a creepy house andeverything hits the fan after that. Morticia like lady of the house slurps down a rat/mouse caught in a trapin a scene. A walking hair ball with a lot of teeth attacks a resting victim. Man eating plant eatsnosey neighbor. A wall of hands sculpted as some phycidelic art piece turns out to be nots so harmless whenthey grab a unsuspecting victim who just so happens to lean back to catch her breath. I remember it had a realsurreal Dario Argenta feel. I saw it twice both when I was pretty young the second time I could have sworn itwas on a Creature Features show.

I am looking for a movie that I think was made in the 90's. It is about a father who is always too busy to attend his daughters dances. On the way home from one of her dances she is killed in a car crash. She "haunts" the dad by leaving things of hers around etc. At the end her spirit dances for her dad and now she can rest in peace because her father saw her dance.

I saw this movie prior to 1998, maybe as early as 1989...it was a made for tv movie (I think maybe a Saturday Afternoon Special) about a girl who is granted wishes to get a certain boy to take her to a dance. A male angel/genie turns her first into a cheerleader, then into a punk rocker and finally into a supermodel. After going to the dance with the boy, she realizes she likes the angel, but he leaves. In the end, a neighbor moves in that looks exactly like the angel. This movie was in color.

Mid 80's, Color. 10 minutes or so of live action, a boy (12 years old maybe) is being chased in the woods by 2 or so men. He jumps into the river and sinks down and everything turns into a cartoon and has some adventure with the fish and other things in the water. Late 80's, Color, Probably a Disney Movie on TV (Sunday Night- Wonderful World of Disney). A father is exposed to some chemical when a semi crashes or something. After that his wounds heal quickly, he can run for hours on a treadmill without getting tired. Someone kidnaps his son to get him to surrender himself and he has to rescue his son. At the end the son breaks a glass in the sink and his cut heals because he was exposed to the chemical also.
Result: Eye Of The Needle Donald Sutherland is a German spy in WWII who, pretending to be a civilian, takes refuge with a lighthouse keeper and his wife. When the husband tumbles to his secret, Sutherland kills him (I believe he may push him off a cliff). The wife eventually figures out that her boarder murdered her husband, and she sleeps with him as part of her plan to save herself and her son from someone she now knows is a dangerous enemy. In the movie a husband fakes his death and his wife thinks he died in a car accident,and she is devastated. All the time he hides in a barn watches her ,what she is doing and is jealous when she finds someone else. I was very young at the time, i think it was around 94 to 98 when i saw it and i borrowed the video from a friend, not exactly sure of any names and exactly if it was colored or black and white but the movie goes like this, it was about a man not sure if he was a lawyer or detective but he was hired, and it kind of starts of by him taking a train to this family house consisting of 2 brothers and a sister and their nanny, but not knowing that all the siblings were ghosts, so he was there to investigate occurences that have been going on, a couple of times in the movie the nanny tries to warn him and let him know what's going on but the sibling ( the ghosts) stop her, the guy ends up falling for the girl (the ghost), and little by little he starts to figure whats going on, and he then finds ther grave where the siblings had been buried. And before he knows it they find out that he already knows their secret so they try to kill him so he could join them, the girl (the ghost) tries pleading with him to stay and become one of them but he refuses and i remember the house going in flames and him escaping out and him taking the train back to where he came from.

The movie takes place in Southern California, it was one of those made for TV drama type movies (based on a true story) back in the late 1970's to early 1980's. The plot is about a private pilot who flys a small cessna type plane. He might be with four people total in the plane, but may have been just him and a woman who he has invited to fly with him. The plane crashes on the mountainside. The pilot is too injured to hike out or even help, he seems to be in shock from his injuries. They make a fire using the fuel from the plane tank to keep warm. the woman puts the pilot in a down sleeping bag to keep him warm, then hikes out to find help, she eventually makes it to safty, small town and gets help.

I saw this movie on MGM a couple of years back. I think it was shot in the mid-80's or probably in the late 70's. The story is like this: There's this guy who dies in a chicken run that went wrong, then he comes back to help out this shy kid become popular, later in the movie he finds out that the kid is his son. He's some sort of guardian angel and he himself has a guardian angel who hangs out at this bar where all the dead people who have some task to do go. At the end of the movie he looks at the lttle book of his friend and he finds out his son is going to die, so he saves him, this way he earns his wings and goes to heaven, riding a motorcicle, after saving his son.

I can remember seeing this movie on TV more than 6 years ago. It's a color movie and it looks like it was made around the same time as Stand by Me which was released in 1986. One part of the movie that I can remember is when the two groups of kids dare each other to swim across the inside of a water tower. The one child begins to be pulled down in the water, so his brother or friend helps him swim over to the edge. The only other part of the movie I remember is when the children's fathers see each other at the town carnival and they get into a fight.

I think this movie came out in the late 90s? I only saw it once and think it was in the theater. All I can remember is that a girl - short, brunette hair - moves in with a guy because she needs a place to live. One night, the guy has a blond girl stay over. I am searching for a movie that aired on tv between the years of 1987-1990, the movie was based durring a time when kings and queens ruled. There was a man placed in the dungon, they did everything they could to break him down, but he kept going. His feet became infected badly, he couldn't walk, he had to crawl. He was dirty, they never let him out of the dungon cell, the man couldn't even come for personal hygein reason, he had to use the bathroom in the cell and even eat in that cell. Later on down in the movie they found out that the man brother was or he was king. I am uncertain of witch but he was freed. I need the title of an "urban legends" movie that was shown on cable TV (TNT, USA, or TBS) in the early 1990s. The movie seems to date to the mid or late '70s. There are 3-4 stories within this movie. They are all ghost/demon stories except one.Story one: A pair of lovers wearing hip '70s clothing make out repeatedly in a beautiful garden, day after day, until the boy finds out that the girl had died in a bizarre accident years ago, thus she is a ghost.Story two: In a rural area of the U.S., a child finds a hole in the ground, presumably a portal to hell. Voices can be heard coming from the hole, calling out to the boy. The local adults try to shut up the demons by covering the hole.Story three: A young man in a pool hall is killed after some of his peers trick him into leaving in a hurry. At the funeral, the grieving mother makes an eerie prediction, something akin to: "Five times around the sun go the three of you! Two by land, one by sky." I saw this movie on tv in the late 70's, I'll say from '77 to '79 on an afternoon horror matinee show out of Oakland, CA. KTVU channel 2 called Chiller Diller matinee. Bear with me! It was in color, probably came out in the late 60's or early 70's. There were three separate stories: one was about 3 young guys that told this retarded kid that he should go ask a particular girl out because they heard that she liked him. They sent him to the wrong house as a joke, I think. Anyway, an old person answers the door thinking it is an intruder and accidently shoots and kills the retarded kid. At the funeral, the guys see the retarded kid's mother, turns out she is a witch and puts a curse on them so that each of them ends up dying in bizarre fluke accidents (one dies in a plane crash). Next is about a girl hitchhiking near a bridge, she's holding a bouqet of flowers, she gets picked up by a man. He takes her home but when he turns to look in the backseat, she is gone and the flowers are sitting on the seat. Turns out the girl is a ghost that was killed in a car accident that went off the bridge into the water. You see a flash back of her life from the 1920's at a party. Anywho, the guy who picked her up goes up to the door of the house where the girl claimed to live and a woman says that the girl he is looking for died years ago. Last story is about a weird hole in the ground that a boy finds out in the woods. Weird sounds come from the hole, the kid's dad decides to get lowered into the hole to see what is down there, he screams and they pull him up, he takes off running into the woods, insane for the rest of his life, and we never do get to see what's in the hole. I think these may have been based on real accounts.

Came out early to mid 80'sIt placed in some small desert town, and more importantly just 1 house as I recall.Movie starts off when some girls dad brings home some kind of artifact that he has found. This artifact is actually an alien of some kinda (total height about 10 inches). Electricity causes it to change back into normal flesh, and a second hit of electricity causes them to turn back to stone. Destroying them while they are in stone form is apparently the only way to kill them. If you try to cut them up when they are living flesh, they just become 1 more. Meaning, if you cut an arm off of one, and new body will grow out of the arm, and a new arm will grow out of the original body.... And now you have 2. The whole movie was basically just trying to kill of them. apparently it took a while for them to smarten up to the fact that they cannt be cut up, because I recall there where a ton of them.The movie ends with a one of them in a stone form siting in the back of a truck. The truck drives away and then gets hit by lightning, indicating that it came back to life, and they there would be a sequel..

People think i made this movie up but i didn't. I rented this movie on multiple occasions whe i was very young..late 80's early 90's I can't remember much but this is what i got. The movie is in color, and it seems like it is set in the 50's however it's slightly "futuristic". The movie is very colorful/bright and the mother dresses in 50's style dresses and i believe the husband wear a suit the entire time w/slicked back hair. In the basement they hide either there grandmother, mom or a monster and go down there every day to fed it (with a needle maybe. The part i really remember is for dinner the mother has this "food" that comes out of the wall and she cuts it off and that is what they eat... and i know they invite someone over for dinner and i guess thats when they find the "monster" in the basement.

This movie may be late 70's early 80's. I probably saw it on TV sometime between 1984 and 1988. There were two sisters( one teenage and one pre-teen). It was in the country somewhere. The older sister was perhaps being trained as a witch. There may have been an old woman involved as the teacher, but that is foggy in my mind. The older sister one day walked to the edge of a pond and raised from the dead a teen guy who had drowned there sometime earlier and proceeded to make out with him or something of the sort. The little sister saw what had happened and was frightened and the older sister then noticed the little sister viewing from afar and looked enraged. That night the little sister had nightmares supposedly fed to her by her older sister. Not quite sure but the nightmares may have been in a cemetary. That's all I remember.

I remember seeing this film on TV in the 80's. It was set in the 1920's, but probably filmed in the 1970's or early 80's. I remember 2 young men at a party, and something happened and they hurt a lady. They thought she was dead so they decided o dispose of her body. They drove in an old black car (Maybe a Model T), to a lake, and dumped the car with her in it. I remember this part of the movie scared me, it was night and they were standing at the edge of the lake watching the car go down, and all of a sudden the girl appears at the window banging and trying to get out, and the car goes under. The guys let her die in the car and run away. The rest of the movie is about her haunting them. I amso remember a scene in the movie where some guy is in some basement or cave like place and they find a wooden door and open it and find some kind of clues. It have been a long time since I saw it, but it was played over and over on tv in the 80's.

I saw a movie late 80's early 90's which i thought was called when a stranger calls. so i thought this new movie was a remake of. it sort of is but the old one was the girl babysitting these 2 kids and i believe someonre came to the door to ask to use the phone and then left later on she gets a phone call saying to check on the kids,the kids end up dead and she ends up needing therapy. years later i believe she was in college but i remember her apartment or somwhere she was it had a brown brick wall and this killer came after her after all these years but he camafloges himself against things.

I saw a movie in the early 1970s about an Indian who finds and tries to ride a wild horse. The movie contained little dialogue and mostly centered on the Indian's relationship with the horse. I am not sure whether it was a theatrical realease or a made-for-tv movie.

I have been trying to find the name of this movie from the mid 80's. It was a made for tv 2 part series. I remember a crash, either plane or boat...and a group of teenagers that are stranded on a island without adults. One of the teenagers dies later in the first half.

I saw an old black & white movie that I thought had Jimmy Stewart, but I might be wrong. The story is of a man that has a disfigured face that works at a cottage in the woods. A newly married couple come to this cottage on their honeymoon and the woman is nice to the man. The couple are in a terrible plane(I think)crash. The woman's face is burned pretty bad and her husband leaves her because of this. She goes back to the cabin by herself because that is where she remembers being happy. She sees the man again and they gradually fall in love. Then the camera work on the movie changes that whenever the man and woman see each other, they do not see the disfigurements because they are in love with each other, but other people see what they really look like. It was one of the most romantic and loving movies that I have ever seen and I would love to find the name of the movie so that I can purchase it. I have been looking for this movie for 12 years.

I saw this movie probably between 1997 and 2003. It is about 2 boys who are really good friends. One of them is normal and the other is a midget. At the end of the movie they are in a school bus that crashes and starts to sink under water. The midget helps people to escape but in the process ends up killing himself because he held his breath for too long. He was revived and brought to the hospital but he eventually dies.

The movie in question I saw on a movie channel in about 2002-2003. I'm pretty sure it was made around 1999 or 2000 too, and is a Canadian film, in color. It was about a group of 3 college age kids who spend most of their time hanging out at a public pool. There are two guys, and a blonde girl, the girl wants to be an actress I remember. The main guy is trying to sort out what he wants to do with his life, and the other lead guy is still fixated on hanging out at the pool, including sneaking back to dive in at night if I recall. They all end up going to some cabin, and hit up a local bar where they meet a blues musician guy their age who becomes the love interest for the actress girl, and a friend to them. I also recall a side plot involving a kid claiming to be working on some secret computer project for a company or agency, or think some company or agency was monitoring his project. I tried looking this up before on IMBD, and forgot the title. I think I remember the main guy was actually the writer of the film. It may be titled something like I Don't Wanna Grow Up or something to that effect. I also believe one of the main guys real life or character name is Charlie.

My son thinks it was Kevin Cosner played the Dad. I looked up all his movies it's not there so it must have been someone else. The film takes place I think in the 40's around WW2 time. The movie is from the mid to late 60's. The only thing I remember is a scientist of sorts inventing a machine that turns live women into dolls. In one scene he places a nude woman into the machine and she comes out as a doll in a clear plastic case that is suspended on an overhead line with other cases. Hey, i remember this movie from when i was little it was about from 1990-1997 somewhere around there. It was a black and white movie, made in the 30s or 40s. The movie starts off with a husband and wife driving in a car. They get into a car accident and die. Their young son goes to live with his grandparents. Death (in a personified form- think Joe Black) comes to get the Grandpa. Somehow, the young boy is able to get Death stuck in a tree. As long as he is in the tree, nothing can die. The movie ends with Death coming out the tree and taking the Grandfather and young boy to the afterlife with him. It's not a horror moview by any means. It's a poignant tale of how death can affect us.

Trying to find a film that was about gangsters or mobsters. Saw it about 10-15 years ago on a cable TV channel. There is a scene in the movie where a group of the gangsters/mobsters go into what as I recall was a bank or office to rob it and intimidate the staff. Saw the movied in the early 1990's. could possibly be from the 80's. color. From what I can remember, the plot had a group of teenagers or 20yr olds out on a road trip. they get lost within some fog and end up at what appears to be a burned-down abandoned house. They try to drive away, but once they leave, the fog surrounds them and they end up driving back to the abandoned house. They're pretty much trapped on the hill, b/c the fog keeps bringing them back. They decide to enter the abandoned house since they cannot leave. When they cross the doorway of the abandoned house, the house re-appears as if it was never burned down and it has walls and everything. When they walk out the door, they look back and nothing is there, it looks like its burned down and just a pile of rubble. I think there were zombies in it as well, and they surround the house trying to get to the group. Im sorry, but i never caught the ending, so i have no idea what happened. Thats particulary hwy im trying to locate this movie.

Okay here's one: I saw this film on tv 2 years ago, but it was made in the 70's I'd say. Teenagers stranded in the country. There is a small western museum with a jail cell inside. The man who owns the museum shows them around, then I think locks them in the cell. Don't recall much, other than later a girl is running thru the woods, and the man is chasing her dressed in a yellow raincoat with a plastic mask (the kind you can see thru) and yelling "little girl, little girl" in a low raspy voice. She runs into the house near the museum, which naturally is owned by the crazed man, she finds a room with a lot of dolls and in the attic, all her friends are dead. She peeks thru a crack in the wall or something and sees the man go into a parlor where his "mom" and "dad" are seated listening to a phonograph. They are both manequins.

A made for tv disney movie I believe. The movie is about a young boy (10-12) who goes to live with his grandparents in the netherlands during the second world war. The grandparents have to let a nazi officer live with them. In the town their is a clock tower that has the little figures in it that come out on the hour(I believe it is called a Glockenspiel). At the end of the movie the nazi's were going to take the little men from the clock tower and melt them to make bullets I think. The town is in uproar over this but no one does anything. The young boy hides them in his grandparents attic. When he is hauling the last one in he is caught by the officer that is living in the house, who helps him hide the last one. Another scene in the movie is that the grandfather is supposed to be shot and killed in the town square, however the nazi officer ones again shows compasion and tells him to fall down and die, so when he shoots he does not actaully shoot him it just looks like he has. So the grandfather lives. At the very end of the movie the child he reunited with his father.I saw the movie in the mid to late 90's. I thought the title was along the lines of The little men or the little lead men but have had no luck finding it.

Alright, I saw a film when I was a kid on TV. It was probably the early 90's on the Disney Channel. It was animated and in color. It was about a boy who finds a dragon under a bridge. Thats the best description I can give, since it's been such a long time. I've searched all of the found pages and the recently submited questions and the only thing I found that was close was The Flight of the Dragons, and that wasn't it. Also, I believe the dragon was red and old, if that helps at all.

Early 1970's - When I was in elementary school, they showed us a video that was used to teach childrens not to go with strangers. It scared the crap out of everyone. What I remember is at the end of the movie, there was a young girl who went off with a strange man who offered her something, a bike I think. They are seen walking in the woods, then one of the teachers would put their hand over the projector (so we couldn't see what he does to her) and you would hear the girl scream. That part was only for about 5 seconds, so it couldn't have been that bad. At the very end, you see the girls sneaker floating down this stream in the woods. The vision of the empty sneaker haunts me and my sisters to this day! Does anyone have any information on it?

I believe this film was made in the late 60's or early 70's. A family of 3 Husband Wife and son move into a house for the summer. one scene i remember is the son goes for a swim the pool, but while he is swimming the pool goes insane with waves and he almost drowns. the father packs up the car which i believe to be a staionwagon but the wife run back upstairs for something. the son and husband wait in the car, after a while the husband goes upstairs to find out his wife has been possessed by the which and ends up throwing husband out the window and he lands on the station wagon and his face explodes and the son gets out screaming and gets killed when the chimney falls on him. The upstairs i believe it to be the attic it either has a witch or the old lady who lived in the house. i saw something that resembled this result called ghost story: something with jody foster but i dont think that was it.

Hi, I've been trying to find a movie from which I remember the final scene quite well. I believe it was made in the 1980's (I saw it on VHS in the 90's) and I thought it must have been Terry Gilliam's Brazil but I've been told I'm wrong. The final scene is of the main male character walking down the street in a dreary grey futuristic world (where an expansive beaurocratic system has taken over civilization: throughout the movie people are surrounded by paperwork), a great wind blows up and all the papers covering the streets start blowing into his face and covering his body. He struggles against all of it and is eventually covered, then the papers start blowing away and the man has disappeared.

Her attic has a huge spider web were, I think, she kept people that she killed. I saw this movie a in the early 90's on t.V. late night on cinemax with my mom and I never seen it again. All I know is that there is a group of friends who go to a haunted house where they are hunted by an old women (played by a man) and killed in sick ways. Hello, this film is from the 80's to early 90's. It is similar to the sleepover massacres, it starts out a bunch of chicks taking showers and preparing for their slumber party. One of them takes out a ouija board and start trying to contact the dead. I don't remember too well but I believe they do contact a friendly spirit who then turns out to be some psycho they knew and he threatens them. Then he starts killing them one by one possessing the body of his most recent victim. At the same time there was a killer on the lose so there are detectives watching the house and they arrive when there is one girl left possessed so they fire and shoot so many times that she flies back against the wall lol (I had to include that bcuz it was funny the way she was blown away)

I saw a movie years ago, probably made in late 70s/early 80s, about a young woman and her boyfriend moving to a house in a new town. The house is "haunted" and seems to know the woman, and there was an old lady who knew the woman as a child, but by a different name. I remember a scene when the indoor swimming pool boils and tries to kill/kills the boyfriend. The woman's parents are dead, I think.

It turns out to be a signal from outter space, that a family picked up on their newly installed satilite dish. The signal made the dish and the TV turn into man eating monsters and left the son and his girlfriend to save the world by blowing up the satilite company at the end.

I saw this film on tv in the late 1980's I think. It was in colour. It was about a man and woman who moved to a small town in America where a witches coven is discovered. I have searched everywhere to look for the film. It is NOT "Bay Coven" I am thinking of or "Necramancy", it's another film. The witches in the film I'm looking for if I remember rightly, looked Dutch. The major thing I remember is that throughout the film, the husband would always tie his shoelaces in a certain way. At the end of the film, the woman is sitting in a park and she to tie something, I think maybe a red ribbon. A man stops and offers to do it for her, and he ties it in the same way as her husband. As she looks at him, she realises it is him. (I think he either 'died' or joined the witches coven.

Not sure of the year of the movie but guessing in the 1970s or 1980s. About a guy in college who is having problems with sleeping and is sent to a college psychiatrist. He tells the doctor that what he dreams happens and when he awakes the world has changed and only he is aware that it was changed because of him. The doctor eventually believes him and sees this as an opportunity to change the world to a better place by controlling his dreams. When he tries to rid the world of racism, everyone turns a sort of grey color - not exactly what he had in mind. When he tries to create world peace, he is successful but then we are invaded by aliens from another world. Again, not what he had in mind.

I saw this movie in the 70's or early 80's on tv. This woman bought a voodoo like statue and brought it home. The statue came to life and she kept finding under the couch and stuff. Finally she saw that it came to life and it chased her all over the house. It was attacking her with the sword/knife it had cutting her legs and ankles. Finally she locked herself in the bathroom. The statue had a little sword/knife that it used to cut its way into the bottom of the bathroom door. She screamed and then the doorbell rang. SHe was expecting her mother for lunch. Then it showed her walking out of the bathroom to answer the door but she had red eyes like the statue did.

I'm searching for the title of a black and white scary B-movie (50's, I think). There is a really ugly guy who strangles women and when he does he says "Stop screamin'" in a really gruff voice. I thought he was called something like "The Tingler" but this is not the Vincent Price movie.

Black and White Horror film made in the 50s or 60s shown on TV in the 70s. An unearthed treasure chest with chains and locks is placed downstairs in a large house or lodge, for examination in the morning. Greedy workers open it up during the night to discover it contains a man's head. The evil head mesmerizes them and controls them, directing them to dig up his body. They carry the eerie head searching for it's body through the dark woods by his long hair. He speaks silent words. Once united with his body he terrorizes young ladies at the lodge or a tourist court. It turns out he was so evil, he was beheaded by the spanish explorers hundreds of years ago who buried his head in a separate a cask and his body in a coffin with a necklace in the motif of a cross, anchor, and heart, symbolizing faith, hope, and love. After some mayhem and ordeal he is returned to the grave. There might have been Ford cars in the film from about 1958 to 1964.

The movie in question was most likley from the 80's, but possibly the early ninties.It involves a group of people in a large house, and for whatever reason theres this really old and gray woman who's totally nuts in the house. The group of people get into scirmishs with the crazy old woman throughout the film, and usually the old lady wil kil one of the group. They finally blow her away at the end. The movie was odd because it seemed like the whole film took place in the house, and all it was about was the group roaming around until they came across the crazy old woman.

I saw the beginning of a film about this girl who has these disturbing dreams, and the first dream of hers that you see is about her birthday, i think she's eighteen, and there are loads of people around and her parents are there. She's given a cake and told to make a wish, she does so then blows out the candles, when she cuts the cake blood starts pouring out and her mother asks in a horrified voice "What did you wish for mary?" then her dad picks up a huge chunk of the blodied cake and begins cramming it into his mouth while saying "Yeah Mary, what did you wish for?" (I'm not entirely sure if her name was mary or if those two quotes are entirely accurate). The next day at school she is talking to the school psychiatrist about the dreams, apparently she used to have horrific dreams before but they stopped, and the psychiatrist suggests putting Mary back on the pills she used to take but Mary is very against this.

I am looking for a tv movie that was usually aired on Saturday afternoons in the 1970's. I know I have seen it more than once. The only part that I remember was a woman would go to a closet in her house and pull a hat box down from the top of the shelf. When she opened it, there was a head in the hat box that would stare back at the woman and it's lips would move as if it was telling her something. (The head sorta looked like Vincent Price but I am not too sure) The lady seemed to understand what the head was saying and she seemed to be in a sort of trance when she did this. She would then put the lid back on, put the hat box back on the top shelf and walk away. I was only about 9 years old when I used to watch this movie so I dont remember the whole story plot. If I'm not mistaken, this movie appeared often on "saturday afternoon horror flicks" or some sort of name they gave the afternoon movies shown on Saturday afternoons. I grew up in Massachusetts and this was shown on either chanel 6 or chanel 8, a Boston station. (there was no cable back then!)

This movie is about a boy that gets caught making out with (i think) a gypsies daughter. So the gypsie puts a spell on the boy so that every time he gets the opportunity to kiss or hold a girl he mutates into a flying? creature. As the boy becomes a man he is haunted by this and knows that the only way to break the spell is to fall in true love with a girl. I saw it in the 80's but not sure if it was on tv or a rental. I think it was a curse not a spell.

early to mid 70s at the drive-in theater in Maine, U.S.A. a bunch of short stories, including one about an artist who obtains the ability to make real what ever he paints, until he paints a portrait of himself and gets killed, there was also one about a couple who kill a girl who is a rope climber, and one about a wife who kills her husband who nags her about her sloppy housekeeping (she puts all his body parts neatly in jars at the end).

Looking for a color movie about scientist shooting a missile into the earth causing disaster.I remember the head scientist had much younger wife,he also was sick with radiation burns to his hand.Also remember control panels with lots of tuning forks that vibrated when danger was near.Saw it back in the early 70's.
Result: Burnt Offerings (1976) starring Oliver Reed & Karen Black. The hearse chauffer was played by Anthony James. However, Bette Davis was the elderly woman in the film and wasn't in a wheelchair, nor was she pushed down a flight of stairs. There wasn't any fire in the house either. Thanx Stareater, Mark, Alli. this film was most likely between 1980-1990,colour movie,most likely USA, i cannot remember much but here goes, what sticks out in my mind about this film was an eery looking man in a car maybe a hearse i remember him being very pale and had dark glasses and would give a horrible stare, other parts i recall was a wheelchair bound woman, somewhere in the film she got pushed down some stairs by her daughter maybe, i think the wheelchair bound woman lived in an attic, and maybe a fire in the house at some point. thats all i can recall but like i say the car driver sticks out most.I would love to see the film again hope this info can provide me with an answer
