There was a movie I believe I saw on TV, in the USA back in 1975-1985. It was about a crash in the mountians, and a young blond hair boy survives. While he is wandering around the forest an old man finds him, and helps him, but also doesn't want him to be around since the man is a war vet (I think, I know that he is hiding out). I was hoping someone could help find the name of this movie.

Result: The Watcher In The Woods Thanx Lauren.

The only stuff I remember about this movie is that there is a huge house where this family goes to stay and there is a little girl and her younger brother and their parents. The little girl goes into the woods and falls into a creek or pond and this woman(witch looking)tries to keep her down with a stick. In the movie when she is being pushed further and further down it shows a view from the little girl. Later on in the movie they perform a seance in an old bell tower? where a girl in a white dress that can be seen in a mirror was killed when her and her friends held the same seance when they were just teenagers. They perform this seance and i think they almost get killed too but they live and the girl either goes on or she is brought back. If you could please help me with the name of this Id really apprieciate it.

Okay, I have one for you... In the mid-80's I saw an animated movie on HBO (I'm pretty sure it was that channel) and I think it was set in the 50's(?). Kinda like Grease but animated. It wasn't a porn but it was for adults only. The only thing I can remember from the movie is one guy introducing his friend "Crazy" to some girl. She asks why they call him crazy and he says "well you know, some people have TWO, Crazy has THREE." He had that old John Travolta accept from back in the days, and said "tree" instead of "three." I think the MEN reading this will know what I'm talking about and what exactly the line in the movie is referring to. :-) Anyway, this has been driving me up the wall for some time now. Can you help?? I would be most grateful!!!

Result: The Candy Snatchers Thanx Marphisa, Will.

Saw a film in the 70's at a drive-in about a girl getting kidnapped. It was in color. I remember she was raped & beaten & the end she was buried alive with a tube coming up & a kid feeding her M&M's.

Result: Homicidal a 1961 movie directed by William Castle. The stars include Jean Arless, Glenn Corbett and Patricia Breslin. I saw this as a teen and it scared the heck out of me! The gender-ambiguous character is fascinated with knives, there's a character in a wheelchair who's decapitated. According to Leonard Maltin's movie guide, "Homicidal" is available on DVD.

I saw the film on British television probably about 30 - 35 years ago, which probably means it was made in the late 50s. All I can remember are pieces of the plot, which involved a female child being born, but raised from birth as a boy - I think because only a male heir would inherit something. Then at the end of the film she turns back into a woman in order to marry someone who she then kills at the marriage, by pulling a large knife out of her bag, and plunging it into him. Must have been a horror / thriller type of film, which for some reason has remained with me ever since. I would love to find out what it is, so I could try and get hold of a copy.

Result: Double Team Thanx Marphisa.

Hello...I know I've seen this movie a long time ago. I can't remember the actors or the year it came out. It had to have been at least 1994. It could have been a straight to video kind of thing. It was a movie about a secret agent who is trying to quit and the agency attacks his family and they kidnap him. It is really similar to the old British series--The Prisoner. He gets put on this island where they have a think tank setup with other spies. He refuses to cooperate and escapes on a helicopter. I want to say it's a Van Damme movie but I can't find it in any of his movie listings. It was definitely an action movie and I know I saw it on HBO. It was definitely a color movie. The majority of it takes place on an island.

Result: Night Caller From Outer Space

Result: Maybe this is It Conquered the World? with Peter Graves, Lee Van Cleef and Beverly Garland. It's a 1956 b/w sci-fi movie from Roger Corman.

It was 1972 and we were watching the late night horror movie double feature. The film looked to be from the 40's, and was black in white. A sphere of some sort comes from space. A monster grows out of it at night and it kills folks, come daytime and it turns back into sphere. Not remembering all the film is driving me nuts.

Result: It Happened On 5th Avenue Thanx Patricia.

My husband saw this film about 20 years ago on TV. It's in B&W. Probably made in the USA. Action takes place just after WWII. Housing shortage leads several ex-soldiers (and their families?), led by an old tramp, to use a New York City mansion that has been locked up for the winter while the owners go to Virginia to their other mansion. The squatters take good care of the house, and move out in the spring, leaving it the way they found it. A young lady who falls in love with a soldier living there is shown the house and told the situation. It turns out she is the daughter of the owners, but doesn't say anything. In the end, her estranged parents get back together, the tramp locks things up and crawls out the coal chute. When asked where he's going, the old tramp says "Oh, I spend my summers in a mansion in Virginia."

Result: The Witching Of Ben Wagner Thanx Lauren.

I loved this one movie when I was little, around 4 or 5, and i'm currently 18. The movie was done in the early 90's, in color, and it was about a girl witch who lived in a shack with her grandmother. And this boy befriends her and all I remember is one scene where he gets cut or hurt somehow in the woods and she picks a leaf from a plant and places it on top of his cut and says it'll heal him. The girl witch had long brown hair. I can't really remember anything else. I wish I could, I loved this movie and I REALLY would like to see it again!

Result: Loss Of Sexual Innocence (1999) Thanx RobinB.

I rented this movie several years ago (between 1999 and 2002?) I believe it may have consisted of several short stories. there is one part of the film where a group of white people(possibly researchers?) are driving through a desert-like area, possibly in Africa??? Their vehicle ends up hitting a young black aboriginal boy. The group of researchers decides to drive to find medical help, leaving a female researcher behind with the tribe of aboriginal people sort of as collateral to assure the tribe that they will be returning and not just pulling a "hit and run". Once they have driven away, however, a tribesman(who has blue paint on his face) makes a sign with his hand(he holds up one finger representing the boy that was killed in the accident and implies that the woman must be killed as a form of justice for the killing: 1=1). the woman is muredered. that is all i really remember. The other vignette was of a young white girl and young black guy who are seen making love in an isolated cottage---Not in a porn way, as the film ends and we see the vignette where the woman is killed by the tribesmen, we see this young couple being intruded on by photographers everywhere, where they give chase and come to a locked gate in a city scene, with more photographers shooting them. It closes with the couple embracing each other for protection against the strong lights of the cameras.

I saw a Victorian based movie about a year ago(so 2003) on A&E about two girls living in a huge mansion and then vying for the affection of a man who comes to visit them. They have the elegant updo style hair and big dresses and it's in color. The younger woman is writing and the man comes in to help her with her writing. The older girl doesnt like this and tries to win the man again. He basically seduces them both. The younger girl is around the age of 14-17 and the older one is 18-22 I'm guessing. Please help as I have been searching for over a year for this.

Result: Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark 1973 (made for TV movie). Kim Darby and Jim Hutton star, Thanx Janet, the Film Goddess.

The movie was I believe in the 1970's? It was in black and white. A couple had bought a house. And the woman explores and goes down the celler stairs and finds a clean out hatch for the chimney. She starts scraping away at it and then is distaracted when her husband comes home. Things start to happen, she hears voices and sees little tiny monsters. Her husband thinks she's gone crazy. At the end of the movies the little monsters pull her down into the celler and into the chimney. This is what I remeber from this; I was young back then. This was my brother's and mine favorite scary movie back then and we have been trying to remeber the name of it for forever. We would love to be able to sit down again and watch it together like we did when we were little. Thank you for your time and help with this.

Result: Homebodies Thanx .

I am looking for this movie I saw when I was a kid. I am 34 now. I would say it was in the 70's. I saw it on tv, maybe HBO. It was back when the HBO guide that came with your bill was like square or something. A little booklet type thing. I even will go so far as to say it was pre-Cinemax, or at least very early on. The Plot was a building of old people was being set for demolition or something like that, they were to be evicted (the tennants.) Maybe they got together and planned the murder of these few people or the landlords? I remember an "old lady in a wheelchair", I remember "concrete shoes", I may remember an elevator shaft or stairs being a murder site, I think they were successful in saving the building though. I think I had been given a title in the past from the web, something "lace, or old lace?"

I saw this Black and White film in the early seventies (70-72) on daytime TV in the Los Angeles viewing area. It was about a person who took a ring from the finger of an elderly dead woman, who's eyes kept opening and following her, even though the person (either a male or female) closed the dead woman's eyes.

Result: On The Front Lines or something similar. It's on Amazon. Thanx Janet, the Film Goddess.

I saw a short subject on TCM that I would like to get hold of. It was shown after the movie "Tish" several months ago. It must have been made during WWII. Satan is talking on the phone to Hitler. They are talking about winning the war by ruining America's economy. It shows a couple shopping. The husband is buying too much stuff, like a new radio that he doesn't need. The narrator is supposed to be FDR, and he tells Americans not to overindulge in purchases, because that's what Hitler wants Americans to do. I am extremely anxious to find the title of this short and would love to get hold of it.

Result: Child Of Glass P>

I was wanting to find that movie too. It had a ghost girl named Inez and a dog named Moppit or Moffit. I thought it might be The Glass Doll or The doll of Glass. See the doll had diamonds hidden in it and that was why Inez was murdered all those years before. Can you help me? My best childhood friend and I wanted to show the movie to our kids.
I'm looking for a family movie from the 70's or 80's. I really want to say that the production company was one of the many Disney's or Buena Vista (maybe?) The plot was about two young children, a boy and a girl.. The girl fell into a well and found an old doll. The doll was attached to the ghost of another girl who originally had her (who was wrongly killed at a very young age). These two children help free her soul by solving the mystery and putting her to rest. It seems that they had English accents similar to Escape from Witch Mountain and was along the same line of weird (but good) Disney movies. I've seen it a few times, but not within the last 15 years at least. I looked over all the Disney movies from IDSB but nothing sounded familiar so I'm not 100% that it was Disney, but I remember their little logo at the end of the movie with the pink and purple castle. Any ideas? :)

I remember watching this movie sometime in the 80's. I watched it on video in colour.around the time of you cant buy me love, secret admirer, etc.

Result: Me Myself & I Thanx smearse.

I recently (April 2004) saw part of movie on TV (I fell asleep...not because of the movie... I was tired) It was about a married woman (with kids) who was suffering from some kind of amnesia. I got the impression that she hadn't told anyone (she greeted her husband on the front lawn and didn't seem to recognize him and when the kids came home from school, she seemed disoriented).
It may have been a made for TV movie, recently made (1995-present) and the actors had accents-Australian or New Zealand? I think it may have been a comedy/drama. None of the actors looked familiar. I remember that the woman was a slim brunette and narrated some parts. I can't remember much more than that.

Result: Made In U. S. A. with Lori Singer, Adrian Pasdar and Chris Penn. Thanx wank_you.

Alright, this one's a toughie. I saw this movie around the mid-nineties on HBO or Cinemax, or Showtime. It was about these two guys that somehow end up on the run with a girl, who is running from her boyfriend or husband. They are in her boyfriends old drop-top Cadillac. Along the way (not sure if it's in Mexico, i think it is) the girl manages to sleep with almost every guy she meets. Important scenes were: 1. The girl takes some guy upstairs in a hotel to sleep with, and the two guys get bored outside on a bench waiting for her, and start shooting pieces of burrito like paper footballs. 2. The end scene, the exboyfriend catches up to them, and tells her that he was following her because the brakes were out in the car. Right then, the two guys take off in the car, not knowing about the brakes, and crash. The last scene is the picture of both of them in shattering glass. I have no idea what the movie is, but i would love to know. Thank you.

Result: Does This Mean We're Married? Thanx Blue Rat.

I saw this movie on HBO, maybe Showtime, I think, about 1996-7 timeframe. Color movie. I remember there was a woman who moved to Paris and wound up marrying this guy to stay there, and something about the guy needing money or what have you. No well-known actors that I can rememebr. Like a green card for France type of thing. Anyways, the guy was a singer and wrote songs for commercials or television shows and he was having a hard time on one, even with his friend helping him out. Had the music but no words. Then the woman came into the room and started singing some lyrics and he knew he had a hit. That's the end of the film.
I actually saw it about 3 or 4 times, every few months or so. One of those "filler" movies in the afternoon before people start watching movies at dinnertime =) I remember seeing the name a couple of times, but never thought to write it down. I don't have cable now, and I doubt they even play it anymore. Needless to say, I think I'll know the name once I see it.Thank in advance.

Disturbing but well done film about a woman who is kidnapped from her bed and taken to a room where she is mentally tortured via voices, mazes, etc. I believe the film was sponsored by an Apertheid organization in South Africa. Other than the woman the only other character was the man doing the torturing, voices, commentary. May have been a 90's film. I thought the man was Alan Rickman of Die Hard fame but don't see anything like this on his rap sheet. I had thought the name was The Closet, or the Chamber or something like that.

Result: Made In Heaven and stars Timothy Hutton and Kelly McGillis, Thanx Patricia.

I watched this film late one night on British television in the early 1990's. From the look of the film it was made in the early to mid 80's and was in colour and not starring anybody famous. I watched the film from start to finish so I know the plot entirely. Set in America it starts in the 1950's with a young-ish lad being dumped by his girlfriend then getting knocked down by a car and killed minutes later. He finds himself in "heaven", living next door to his dead aunt. His guide is a mysterious character called "Gabriel" (like the angel) who sounds like he smokes 200 cigarettes a day and is a bit of a David Bowie clone. The hero meets a girl in heaven and they fall in love, get married and plan to live happily ever after. But then she is told that as she was "born in heaven" it's her turn now to be re-born on Earth. She isn't able to tell the hero and he finds out from "Gabriel" what has happened. Obviously distraught at losing the love of his life, he makes a deal that he will also be re-born on Earth and they both have til their 30th birthdays to find eachother, and after that they will never be allowed to meet. So you see them being born, growing up, she get's married and become's a successful business woman, he becomes a musician, and then...right at the end of the film obviously...they recognise eachother on a street. It's very silly good fun feelgood stuff, but for the life of me I cannot remember the name of it. Please help?

Result: Who Will Love My Children? made for TV in 1983, but it's in color. It's a real tearkjerker, though. Thanx Marphisa.

I have no idea when this movie was made or even who was in it. I was under 10 years old when I saw it. It is an old black and white movie about a mother who is dying and has to give her children (I think she had at least 4) away to good homes before she dies. Several years ago, I caught the tail end of a segment on 20/20 about what makes people cry. They talked of a clinic that actually shows this movie to their participants to see what their reactions are. I know there was a movie like this because my mother and I watched it together and she remembers it as well. Please help! Also, do you know if there is anywhere to get a copy of this film? Any help you can give would solve years of wondering.

Result: All Summer In A Day (1982) based on a Ray Bradbury story (original character in story was a girl, a boy in the movie). I believe it was part of Ray Bradbury Theatre. Thanx Janet.

I think it must be a 1970-early 1980's movie. It's about children who are, I think, in some sort of school. The planet (or at least where they live) has no sunligh except for a few minutes every 10 years (or something). When they finally get the few minutes of sunlight, a boy is locked in a closet and doesn't get to see it, except for through a small crack in the ceiling.

Result: The Little Girl Who Lives Down The Lane (1976) Thanx Michael.

There was this movie that came on the late night movies on TV about 1980 or 1981. It may have been made in the 70's. I remember at the end of movie that these two guys who were circus clowns met in a room. One knew that the other clown had murdered someone or done something bad. And I think he decided to kill him as well. I just remember it was a very slow scene which seemed to lead to a climatic end. I don't know for sure the one guy was going to kill the other guy, it may have been that he knew something about the other one. I remember it was a suspenseful scene to me (I was about 8 years old). I seen this other movie on TV when I was about five (it was about 1978 or 1979). I think it was a thriller. The only things I remember are the woman (who I guess was a witch) trapped a girl or boy in her cellar. The door to open to the cellar was under her wooden floor and was located in the living room or something under a rug (I believe). I remember in the movie they kept showing a mouse running in one of those ferris wheels for mice. One scene had a guy stopping by the witch's house (I guess looking for the missing person). He was riding a bike (I believe it had a basket on the front and had those large bike wheels) and had an autumn setting outside. The movie looked like it could have been British.

I saw a movie on tv in the early 80's and have always wanted to see it again but can't remember enough about it to find it on the net somewhere. i remember a scene where a young man w/blond hair gets teased & pushed (or falls) off a boat into water by some preppy-type rich college kids--he likes one of the girls in the group of friends. later (perhaps in a dream?) it's as if he washed up on shore in a different time & place in the past and in one scene is fencing (sword fighting) with someone else, but isn't very good and says "Ole" (prounounced o-lay) and the girl corrects him because you're supposed to say "touche" (pronounced too-shay). i think the song "eye in the sky" by alan parsons project is played during the movie, but can't find it as part of a soundtrack. any ideas?

Result: Lady In A Cage (1964) Olivia De Haviland, Thanx Janet The Film Goddess.

Old movie, Black and white, kind of Hitchcock style. I always found it on tv late at night so I never saw the first part to see the title. It was about an old woman stuck in a cage or elevator in her house above the stairs. These robbers break in and torment her. In the end, she some how gets out and crawls out the front door screaming. I think she gets run over when she crawls in the street, so I think I remember her being blind. That is all I can remember, it has been over 10 years since I last saw this.

Fred Astair, Melvyn Douglas and Douglas Fairbanks Jr. as the old men. Thanx Cynthia and Natalie

I am looking for the title of a movie that I saw in the late 1970's or in the 1980's. It had the plot of a lady that was dressed in white throughout the whole movie. The story is shown from the perspective of 3 guys who knew this girl (either in college or high school, I am not sure). They are all old at the beginning of the movie and sitting around a round table and drinking something and smoking cigars or cigarettes. When they are talking, they are telling about something that happened a long time ago and they swore secrecy about it after it happened. At the end of the movie it shows a vehicle in the water either being pulled out or coming up on its own, and the lady in white is still in it and she is dead. She may have been at a party when it happened or some other shindig. I don't remember the name of the movie and I don't think there were any really famous actors in it, or at least they weren't really famous at the time. I know that the title of the movie! is NOT "Lady in White". I found information on that one and it is not what I am looking for.

I saw an excellent movie that takes place in Egypt in the early eighties. A lady gets off the tour bus and happens to discover by accident a hidden entrance into a vault of egyptian treasures. The movie took place in the early eighties and I remember being fascinated by the rooms full of gold leafed statues and sculptures of ancient egyptian art. The movie was in color and had a plot of the actress (red hair) being chased by a group of men and in the end she decides to destroy the entrance and vaults in a dramatic ending. I saw this movie on HBO numerous times when I was nine or ten years old and loved the movie because of the discovery of lost treasures. I would love to see the movie again. Can anyone help me find out the name of this movie.

Result: Macabre (1958) directed by William Castle. Thanx Marphisa.

I saw this movie several years ago on TV. It was a black-and-white horror/mystery film from around the 1940's or 50's. It takes place in the United States. The plot is about a family who is trying to find their young kidnapped daughter. One scene has one of the kidnappers call the girl's mother to tell her what they are going to do to her daughter. They plan to bury her alive inside a coffin within a cemetary (from what I can recall). There are several scenes inside an old cemetary, where the family members and several investigators talk to an old man who is the caretaker of the cemetary. One of the last scenes takes place in the cemetary, where there is a coffin that the investigators believe the girl is in. When they open it, they find only a life-size doll within the coffin. The closing credits of the film contain an animated sequence where old horse-drawn hearses keep moving by--one after the other--across the screen. After the last hearse passes, the young girl in the film (also in animated form) chases after the hearses. This is the very last scene of the closing credits. This is all I can recall about this mystery/horror film. Does anyone have any clues as to the name of this film? Thanks!

Result: Once Upon A Time (not to be confused with the movie by the same title). I used to watch it when it would occasionally come out on Sunday's with this man hosting and then he'd run the film on a projector but of course we'd see it on "tv". The show was called Sunday Family film Special or something like that. Thanx Lily.

Animated (color). Time Period: 1970's or early 1980's Country: USA Where I saw it: They used to show this (using a projector) in elementary school in Texas in the early 1980's. Characters: A nice little girl and her evil sister and a bunch of fantasy-world characters. Plot: A nice little girl and her evil sister live together. The good girl falls in to a well and enters a fantasy-type world with all sorts of characters (my brother remebers some kind of cookie people). The good girl is nice to all of the characters and is rewarded with money (gold coins, I think) and is returned to the normal world. The evil sister then jumps in to the well and tries to follow the path of the good sister, but she rushes through and is mean to all of the characters (I think she burns the cookie people). At the end, she expects the same monetary reward but doesn't get it because she was so mean.

I watched a film the other day about a man who was out with a pregnant maid who was looking after this bitter old woman who had a daughter with blond hair. The boyfriend ended up sweet talking the mother and got a job as doing bits around the house. The man had a funny sounding voice. At the start of the film it showed you the man chopping off a womans head with an axe, he dumped the axe and body in the river, swam in it for a bit. He kept the head in a bag on top of his wardrobe and opened it infront of the mirror. He ended up killing the mother, seducing the daughter and his girlfriend left him. The film was set in England and was in black and white. Not sure about the time it was made but wasn't recent. I saw it on tv, i think it was wed 26th may, could be wrong though. I'm trying to find a movie that I saw in the very early 70's. I was a little girl and I went with my dad. My husband remembers seeing this movie when he was a little boy also. It's about a man and his son flying in a small plane and the plane crashes and the boy sets out with his dog into the desert where they crashed. I can't remember if he thought his father was dead, but I think his father ends up finding him later. The boy meets up with an Indian? boy who takes him to his home. The boy is being fed some food, and realizes his dog is missing, and thinks he may be eating the dog. But then the dog shows up, and he realizes it wasn't the dog he was eating. This may have been a foreign film; I'm pretty sure it was low-budget. I can't remember any big name actors, but then I was just a little girl.

Hi, I am looking for a movie that i was on Tv a couple weeks ago. These high school students were always partying and never took school seriously. One day in class they wrote a letter to the President of the U.S. telling him how the school system sucked. The principle was always yelling at these kids, especially these 2 main characters they were pretty dumb. They went to see the president but the Senator of their state was trying to sabatoge the visit. On their way this 1 guy tried to kill 1 of the main characters he always dressed in star wars stuff and carried a card board cutout of one of the star war girls. The principle and the teacher ended up hooking up and so did the other main character and the really smart girl that wrote the letter to the president. It was made in the 90's I think please help me find the name.

TV. Color. Late 80s-early 90s. I don't remember much, I apologize. The main characters were a young orphan girl with long blonde hair, a younger orphan boy, an abusive orphanage director, and a rich old lady. There was an orphanage, and the children were taken to an old lady's mansion to play every now and then. While playing hide and go seek, the children happen upon a box/coffin with the mummified remains of a blonde girl. (The old lady had a daughter who had died many years ago.) They old woman takes a liking to the young blonde girl orphan and the girl is forced to stay at the mansion. I think the ghost of the dead daughter haunted the mansion, because of mysterious circumstances surrounding her death. I think it may have been set in England.

Result: The Monster (1925) (1971) .

This is a difficult one. My Father-in-Law has for sometime been trying to remember a movie he saw when he was quite young involving mirrors that would be on a highway. People would be driving along at night and it would appear that they were about to collide with another automobile or truck when it was actually a reflection of either there own vehicle or another vehicle not directly in their path. They would swerve to miss what they though was an ongoing car and wreck. It's unclear whether these incidents were actually happening or whether they were nightmares that the character was having. The movie would most likely have been a Black and White film from the 1940's, possibly late 30's or early 50's. That's about all I can say about it. Help me identify this movie and I'm a hero to my Father-in-Law.

Great to find a site where someone may be able to help! OK - This is a French film with English subtitles. Color, could be 80's, 90's? Main character is a horrible old woman - she MAY be referred to as 'Tante', maybe not. She has to go live with a nephew because her family thinks she can no longer care for herself. Once she settles in her new home, she proceeds to wreck the lives of everyone in the family. The family diligently tries to be kind to this awful woman, who continues to make their lives hell. Finally after arranging a 'minder' for the old woman, they leave on vacation. The old woman finally drives out the minder, a sullen young blonde woman, who abandons her. The old lady ends up in the media as a 'sweet little old lady cruelly abandonded by her uncaring relatives'. She acts sweet for the media, who tear the family apart in the press. The minder returns, and her & the old lady run off together. What's the name of this dark comedy? Thanks for any help - Cathy

I'm trying to find the title of a movie I saw on cable in the late 80s or early 90s (I think). It features a guy who wants this exotic sportscar.. it is heavily advertised and he is absolutely unable to think of anything else. He goes to the dealership and is immediately smitten by the saleswoman, an extraordinary blonde woman -- thin, short hair, very "sleek" looking. She uses her feminine wiles to entice him to buy the sportscar, but it turns out to be a piece of junk. They fall for each other, and wind up exposing the dealership/manufacturer of the cars as frauds. What *is* this movie ? I can't find it anywhere...Thanks.

Result: Watch It! (correction) Starring Peter Gallagher. Thanx Alli.

I too was reminded of "Very Bad Things" (or actually vice versa since "Watch It!" is older) because of the frenetic style and bright lighting throughout the movie. It also was very "guys and their secrets" thematically. Most likely the movies (which have very little else in common) are reminescent of each other simply due to the cover art and composition.

This was a movie made bak in the 80's I think. There are several guys that get together and pull pranks on each other...trying to get do one better than the prank before. They are in an apt. and are roomates or on some kind of guy outing thing. The pranks get worse and worse. It kind of reminded me of the movie Very Bad things... but it was something like 'Gotcha' or 'Tag'?? I remember that one guy hid in a small refrigerator or cupboards and scared the blank.. out of his friend, when he opened it.It had alot of big name/actors in it. I wish I could remember who they were.It was histerically funny. I have been looking for this title for many years and was wanting to show it to my husband.

Two men are in the crash one white one black...she helps them and the white guys dies but his ghost stays with her...most of the movie concentrates on her trying to convince people she really sees this guy. I remember a song playing in a bedroom scene with the lyrics "you taught me to love you and now i can't stop" The movie ende with her in the hospital waking up from a coma brought on by a fall from her horse...and both of the guys in the plane crash are there and alive. help!!! I saw this movie on TV, but I don't think it was a made-for-tv movie. I thought it had Jane Fonda in it, but I looked up her filmogrophy, and I didn't see anything that had to do with this movie. The movie was about the lead woman and her mother-in-law (I believe) who were definitely not friends at first, and something had happened to make them have to live or be together...and throughout the movie they became closer....and I remember one scene where the mother-in-law (who was a gray-haired, recognizable actress) was getting more tired, possibly dying, and asked the daughter-in-law (Fonda?) to pluck out her chin hairs when she could no longer do it, so no one else would see them. And another scene with Fonda(?) running down the street. This movie in in color was made in the 1970's or 1980's in the USA. This is all the info I can give you...sorry! I hope you can find the title for me!

Result: Back Street but it sounds like the 1961 version starring Susan Hayward, which was in color. There were two other versions (1932 and 1941), but they ended differently. Thanx Marphisa.

The movie is an old black and white love story about a man who is married with two children (boy and girl I think). The man falls in love with this woman who he takes as his mistress. Just as he tells his wife that he was going to leave her for the other woman, they both get killed in a car accident and there are no other relatives to take of the two children. Therefore, the mistress ends up taking care of the children. I don't remember who were the staring characters but I think the leading man and leading lady (the mistress) ended up being very famous. It was a very sad story and could bring down the tears.

This is movie a saw on TV many years ago (possibly late 80s). I think it's French but cannot be sure. The plot is about a young boy who falls in love with an older girl (who is visiting his family?) but he never tells her how he feels. She becomes involved with another teenager and I think she becomes pregnant and basically her life falls apart. The movie ends with the young boy remembering a time when he was about to tell her he loved her but never did, and he reminisces about what would have happened if he had shown her how he felt. Sorry it's not much info, but I do remember that the film was set in very nice countryside.

Result: Some Kind Of Wonderful hanx, Wayne

I saw this movie a long time ago. It is a movie from the late 80's or early 90's about a guy who is at some high school. He is good friends with this blonde girl with short hair who wears kinda rocker type cloths. Anyways she helps him get this girl that he thinks he is in love with, but at the end of the movie he runs to find blonde girl is is about to leave to tell her that she is the one that he loves. Can't really think of anything else that happens in the movie except he ends up giving the ring he baught to the blonde chick. Hope you might be able to tell me what movie this is. And it is in color. Thank you, Curt

Result: Mischief from 1985. Thanx Marphisa.

Hopefully you can hook me up with this movie title. I don't know too many details on it.. just that I saw it about 3 years ago on the FX Movie channel. It's a slightly older movie made probably in the early-mid 80's but the actual setting of the movie is back in the 1950's possibly 60's. There are two high school guys that are the main characters (I remember one has blond hair and the other has brown). The one scene that stands out in my head is when the blond guy purposely drops his pencil in class just to look up this blonde girl's skirt. He says something to his buddy on the lines of "I've got a hard-on that just won't quit!" or something like that. The teacher then catches him and makes him leave the classroom, in which when this guy stands up, his boner is immediately noticed. There is also a part where the blond guy eventually hooks up with this girl (the one whose skirt he was peeking up) and I remember a scene in which they are about to have sex (yes there is! boobie footage), but the girl's parents come home. At the end of the movie, all I can remember is the two guys part ways and the brown haired one leaves on a motorcycle with another girl. Please help! Would be much much much appreciated! Thanks..

Result: Out Of The Past (1947) (Here in UK called: Build My Gallows High) starring Robert Mitchum & Jane Greer - again I think? Thanx Jo.

I don't remember too much... I saw it on TV, I think it was in black and white. It was about some woman, she was involved in some organization, maybe the mob or something. She wanted to leave it, and she became involved with this detective (I think he was a detective) who helps her. All I remember is at the end, they're driving down this street, and it seems like they're going to be able to get away, but all of a sudden, she's either shot, or the car crashes, and she dies. It's a very bittersweet ending, I remember. Please help me! Thanks.

Result: Don't Go To Sleep Thanx Orianna.

I have been trying to find a movie I think I saw in the 80's on TV about a younger brother and sister were in a car and their older sister fell asleep and they decided to tie her shoe laces together as a prank. Well, the car broke down and they had to get out in a rush and the sister didn't get out in time b/c of the shoe laces and she blew up and died. Later she starting haunting the sister and trying to get her to do bad things. But she kept telling her sister if she told they would think she was crazy and lock her up in a straight jacket. And at the end that is what happened. I remember 2 very vivid memories that scared me. One where the girl was on her bed and heard something under it and look and there was her dead sister laying on her stomach with her hands propped up holding her head up smiling at her. And another is that she use to wear a crown made of flowers on her head. It was creepy back then. Please help.....

Result: The Trap starring Oliver Reed and Rita Tushingham. Thanx Marphisa.

Saw this movie on tv probably 60's or early 70's. Can't say if it was color or B&W cuz all we had was a B&W set. The movie was about a girl raised in town with her parents. For whatever reason, the father lost money, needed money so he sold his prim and properly raised daughter to a grubby mountain man that came down into town. One part of the story I remember is something happened to the mountain man's leg and she had to chop it off with an axe. I can't really remember much more of the story except this poor girl learned an awful lot about living on a mountain and delivered her own baby. I think eventually she came back into town in the end, herself wrapped in furs and the baby. (not sure about that) Would really love to know the name of the movie to see it again!

Result: The World, The Flesh, And The Devil If it was in color and the people were Australian, then it might be The Quiet Earth. Thanx Marphisa.

Also another mystery movie that i cannot remember the title of is one i saw when i was small, it was a movie about supposedly all life had dissappeared on earth and the only people left were a white man and woman and one black man. And I really don't remember anythign else about the movie except when my dad pointed out that even though the earth supposedly didn't have any life left on it what-so-ever they accidentally caught a bird flying by in one scene. Anyway, thank you and i hope those are some of the answers you were looking for.
