I vaguely remember watching this on TV about fifteen years ago (c. 1990) when I was about five. I can't remember any characters' names, but I remember the main character, a young boy, having a fish tank with a toy steam shovel inside it. The air inside the fish tank fills the bucket of the shovel then opens up. The only scene I remember is the boy being stuck inside the bucket of a real steam shovel underwater in a pond or lake. I believe a diver rescues him, but that may or may not have happened.

Hello....I am looking for a film or a made for T.V. movie that I saw on T.V. in the late 1970's, early 1980's. It has to do with an American boy who fell in love with a French girl. Supposedly they were living in France. There was a teacher who was helping the boy learn French (I think) so that he could win the girl. The teacher looked as though he was in his late 60's, early 70's. I loved the music in this movie. It sounded like Italian/French guitar. This melody still haunts me to this day. Hopefully someone knows the name of this movie. Thanks. Joy

I saw this movie most probably in the late 70's where a small boy or baby falls out of a window at least several stories up and falls onto some grass at the bottom and is perfectly fine and laughs it off. Seems like it was some sort of dark comedy. I believe I saw it on Showtime or The Movie Channel and I know Showtime started in the late 70's. I guess the movie could have been made between 1975 to 1980. It was color. I believe there was a movie theatre scene also with some children (maybe young teenagers). I seem to remember a coming of age plot with the sexual hijinx that goes with it. I would be forever indebted to anyone who can single this one out. My brother and I have been looking for it for years.Thats all I can remember, hope it's enough. Thank you.

Hi! I repeatedly saw a movie on Nickelodeon in the early-mid 80's (best guess) that was possibly a BBC production. I'm somewhat fuzzy on the plot, but it involved I think a mother and 2 children who inherited a run-down british estate and they moved there. I'm not sure if the estate was haunted or what, but a long time before, there had been a fire and children had died. Somehow the present-day children got transported back in time when the estate was in good shape, and they kind of resolved the deaths of the children that were burnt, or saved them from being burnt and they then came back to present day and then something happened because of what they did in the past that gave them money to fix up the estate or the final deed or something. Sorry about the lack of details and information. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated! Thank you,Summer

This is a 3 Stooges film. They got into this pie fight at the end. I just remember that Moe had this pie and for whatever reason when he saw this lady coming towards he like flung the pie up to the ceiling where it stuck for a moment before falling down. But when he flung it up, it went up very fast and there was a wild sound effect at the rocket speed it flew up. Anyway Moe was trying to get rid of the lady so the pie wouldn't fall on her. Like at one point the camera showed the pie becoming unstuck and Moe was panicking and saying something, "lady you better believe me that you ain't gonna like what you see in a few seconds"

This is about to be *incredibly* vague; the only reason I can remember anything about this film is because it left a really strong impression on me as a child. I saw it fourteen or so years ago, possibly when I was eight or ten (I'm 24 now). I believe I saw it on television, though it might've been a rental.I remember it being very scary, but I don't think it was a horror film. Probably epic/fantasy.This film is *not* "Clash of the Titans," but the description sounds similar. All I remember about it is that a young, strong man is seeking some kind of dragon or creature living in a cave. The scene where he goes to the cave is really scary. I remember there being really frightening sounds and he encounters the creature, but I can't remember if he's killed or hurt. I feel like there may be an egg involved----like he's looking for a dragon egg or something. A girl with long hair might be involved. (?)

This was an American film, probably from the early eighties, and was about some very glamourous models going up into the mountains for a photo shoot. It may have the term calender girls in it, but its none of the calender girl movies I have checked out. I seen this horror film on late night tv in the early 70's,but could have been from the late 60's.I'm sure it was British. Can't remember much,it was in a park or woods, a stalker was hiding in the bushes watching a jogger.Somehow the police caught the stalker an handcuffed him to the fender of the police car.The police left him there for some reason, and when they retured he had cut his hand off and left it hanging in the handcuffs. The other piece of this movie I remember seems like it was the end,it showed the jogger lying on a mattress or in a bed.The jogger opened his eyes and started screaming, his arms and legs were cut off.The camera shot was from above the bed and there was just the trunk an head of jogger.By now I suppose the police had caught the stalker, and this man no way of getting out of the room. Around 1970's I think. Don't know if it was a t.v. movie or theater movie or if it was part of an anthology story. It was about a woman and man that I think were newly married and they move into a house. Haunting things start happening only to the woman that involved hearing footsteps and a scary type of laughter that she hears throughout the house. I think at one point they think the laughter is coming from a lamp or statute. At the end of the movie she becomes pregnant and the husband hires a nursemaid to take care of the woman prior to giving birth. The demon takes over the nursemaid and eventually takes over the newborn baby. One of the last scenes were of the husband and wife looking at their new baby and instead of the baby crying it gives out this horrible laughter. I was a little kid at the time but this movie has haunted me for over 30 yrs. I've searched all over and have found nothing. I always thought that the woman was played by Patty Duke but none of her film/tv credits have shown this movie. Please help!! I'm dying to find what this was!

This has been driving me mad for years..A 1980s horror (possibly with some comedy) centered around some form of haunted house. The protagonist is a young american man (thought It was Tom Hanks but now unsure!) who possibly inherits the house and moves in with his wife/girlfriend. Lots of spooky stuff happens, including a particularly vivid scene in which dead relatives seem to some out of the walls of the house. Another scene I can remember is that there is a ghost of a young woman who was murdered in the bedroom, and every night the man sees her ghost float through the room. (A bit like the murder scene in 'Lady In white' with the young girl)This film was on british tv quite a few times in the late 80s and Id be eternally greatful if anyone can help! Thanks!

HelloFirsly thanks for helping me find this film. I remember watching this film about 12 years ago, but at hazarding a guess it was probably made in the 70's.The plot is basically about a group of people that all die at one specific time, then find they are the only people left alive. One of the characters roams the streets, but nobody is there, and eveyrthing is left as it was originally, e.g. cars empty with doors open etc. I believe (but i may be mistaken) one character dies in a lake, another by a hairdryer? and gets electricuted. I'm not 100% sure but the few people who are still alive eventually try and meet up etc. Brilliant film, hope you can help!kojak

Hello,I am looking for a movie I saw on TV in the late 70's / early 80's. I believe the film was British, possibly BBC from the 50's or 60's. The plot of the movie involved a group of prison inmates who escape from the hospital ward of the prison. They then proceed to run an all-night counterfeiting operation, then break back in to the prison before the morning in order to not get caught. At the end of the movie they all get together again to divide up the money. (The whole movies is like an Ocean's Eleven type group heist/con thing) Another plot point I remember is the complication the prisoner's have with an annoying inmate who they are forced to take with them because he's in the hospital ward too. I seem to remember the guy sounded American and seriously reminded me of Earnest Borgnine. I have done searches however of Earnest's filmography and nothing I can find seems to match this plot description. In any case, this 'american' doesn't know the whole plan and becomes quite upset when they tell him he has to break back into prison with them or risk ruining the whole plan. There are also cut scenes inthe movie where police officers discuss the happenings and break in's etc. and decide it can't be any of the usual suspects because they're all currently in jail. The movie was in black and white as I remember it. I have searched the found pages and haven't seen anything that matches this request.Thank-you.

Circa 1967, probably a Disney musical, so this should be an easy one. I saw only the preview for this on TV, I think in 1967, or at least somewhere between 1965-1973,and the only part I remember is a man dancing and singing outside somebody's front door.He sings some line of lyrics that ends in a word like "grass,"then his final sung line goes: "And when she finally said, to move your bloomin'--"and just before he sings the final obvious rhyming word at a high pitch, he's interrupted by the front door popping open, and (I believe) a maid asking something like, "Can I help you sir?"I thought this was "The Happiest Millionaire" (1967), which perfectly fits the style, genre, and era, and has a very similar scene, but I just bought that film and it's definitely not the one with the scene I remember."My Fair Lady" (1964), has a similar famous quote, "Move your bloomin' arse!",but that was shouted at a horse, and that film came out a few years earlier, so that can't be the one. The film must have been color, American, almost certainly a musical, probably Disney, and most likely from 1967-1968.Judging by the year, Disney stamp, and musical genre, I think this may have been"The One And Only, Genuine, Original Family Band" (1968)but I hate to keep buying more films at random unless I know it's the right one,and I haven't seen that one for rent.

I saw this movie as one of those Saturday network movies (but I would bet money that it's not made-for-TV) somewhere between 1998-2001, but it was clearly from the mid-70s to mid-80s (video quality and cars). The plot centers on three characters and a country house. A blonde teenage girl is home alone after she decided not to go with her family to a BBQ or a picnic. Two men in a sports car (Camaro, Firebird or something) are harassing her in her house, the one wants her to "Go for a ride" with him. He keeps harassing her from outside the house, his friend cuts the phone lines and wants to kill her, but the guy (who looks like a young Tommy Lee Jones) tells his friend that she will come around. He threatens to hurt her family if she won't go on the ride with him. She's absolutely terrified. At the end of the movie, she goes on the ride with him (he leaves his friend at her house), and it's clear that he rapes her (because you see them walking back in a field and I think he's messing with his pants). The movie was pretty crazy for a network Sat movie, and unusual in that it really all took place at the house and with only three on-screen actors. Any guesses?

In the late 60s or early 70s (I'm inclined to believe it was the earliest 70s, but it might have been an old movie being replayed), I watched a movie on television where an overweight and homely girl is tormented by peers at school. Somewhere along the line, right around high school graduation, something happens to her (a car accident, I think) that leads her peers to believe she is dead. (I don't think her peers had anything to do with it.) Some while later (a few years, perhaps), she reappears, looking like a model - all thin and gorgeous from plastic surgery - and no one recognizes her.She spends the rest of the movie exacting revenge on these peers, one by one, for their adolescent deeds to her. No one suspects that this beauty killer could be the girl they had so mercilessly tormented in high school. She would bare her true identity to them just before they each died. I can't even remember how she killed any of them, except that she "wooed" the boys, now young men, before she killed them. It seems like one of the girls caught on toward the end, but I don't remember what happened. I wish I could help with names, but I can't. I thought the 2005 movie, TAMARA, might be a remake of it, but the one I am looking for had nothing to do with witchcraft. (I don't like TAMARA, by the way.) This movie has haunted my memory for years and I need to know if it even still exists. Can you help me? Thanks.

I seem to think that the leading man was Robert Wagner, or someone that looks like him. The film goes like this.Man and women are dating and soon to be married. His mother hates this relationship, because she is not of high society. One night the couple are involved in a serious car accident. Both barely survive. The girlfriend is seriously injured and needs lots of surgeries, costing lots of money. The boyfriend's mother blackmails the girlfriend with, "Ill pay all your bills, including the cosmetic surgery, but you have to leave the state, and never speak to my son again." i remember seeing this film in either the late eighties or early nineties. I think it was made in the eighties and think its american. it was screened on htv/itv and the film is in colour. it begins with some older teenage lads having a party at school, boozing, having a laugh. the popular crowd of lads trick a nerdy lad into losing his viginity with a girl in the back of a car. the girl in question is waiting for the nerdy lad, in car, with a paper bag on her head. as the boy begins to make out with her, the area is flooded with light from other car headlights and car horns blasting. the embarressed boy pulls the paper bag of the girls head, to find that it is either a very ugly girl or another boy in drag. the joke made by the popular crowd, is too much for the nerdy boy, it pushes him over the edge. However, he returns in a few years to murder his tormentors. i think he wreaks his revenge at a reunion party but not sure. I thought this film was called terror train at first but after doing some research i found that it wasn't. can anyone help me?

Ok, i'm pretty sure this movie exists but I haven't been able to find it. I saw it on TV probably between 10-15 years ago. It was in color. I can remember there were small people(i'm not sure if they were children) dressed in pink and blue snowsuit type things. I remember they went to some sort of school, beat the teachers to death(maybe a man and a woman) and kidnapped one of the children(i think a boy). they took him to some sort of barn or something and I remember people were looking for him. The details are pretty hazy because it was so long ago. No one knows what I'm talking about, I'm really starting to think I might have dreamed the whole thing.

It is a horror movie from the late 80's to early 90's that I saw on TV but believe was a movie release first. I think it is about a family that makes a pact with either an African demon or some sort of parasite where they provide a daughter for it to possess and it protects/provides them wealth and success. The opening scene is of a little girl all in white being put on a train by her parents with the women who is currently possesed so she can be taken over. The movie then moves to the present where it's time for the next girl to be taken over. Two other scenes I remember are a confrontation with a priest where she strikes him across the face with his bible, burning his face becasue his faith wasn't strong enough and a fight with the next in line to be possesed in a pool.

I'm looking for the name of a psychological thriller movie from the late 50's or early 60's. B&W, about 3 tanker truck drivers driving on a mountain road in maybe Nevada? They were carrying I think rocket fuel, liquid oxygen and acid (or some kind of caustic chemical), traveling on a dangerous stretch of desert road with lots of road hazards. One of the tankers starts to leak, (maybe the acid?) and one of the drivers sacrifices himself to save the others by turning off a valve with his bare hands, which are eaten away by the acid or frozen by the LOX, something like that.

"two hearts"? "true hearts"? or maybe those were the songs. it got alot of play and then vanished. girlfreinds name might have been 'Angel'.

This movie was color made in the eighties, possibly early nineties. Its a movie about a brother and a sister who were taken piano lessons and were taken away to quite possibly a castle with a very long staircase and lots of mirrors. The most memorable part of the movie was that the villian would cut off the children's hands and these white-gloved hands would play on this very, very long piano. This movie was often played in elementary school music classes, but all of the kids found it very frightening.

(I think this previously submitted request of mine got lost by Earthlink:) Circa 1973-1974, science fiction or horror. A man is hospitalized and at one point he is left alone in his hospital room, and for some reason he decides to go exploring the hospital, maybe because he's suspicious of something about the hospital. He finds another patient in a bed breathing hard and sweating as if in pain. He asks what's wrong, and if he can help, the patient doesn't answer, then the exploring man finally throws the sheets back to see if there's anything visibly wrong with the patient. He sees that the patient's entire lower body is that of a sheep. The hospital is not a hospital at all, but a laboratory doing experiments on humans, and the exploring man realizes that they intend to do the same experiment on him, too. My girlfriend told me about this movie in 1974, so it was probably made around 1973. American movie, probably color, seen in San Diego, California. I don't know whether this was shown in a theater or drive-in, but it sounded intriguing!

I saw this movie a long, long time ago, so I only have a vague memory of it, but I've been trying to find it every since with no luck. First off, let me say that it isn't "I Spit On Your Grave." The color, quality of the film suggests that it was made in the '70s, or maybe early '80s, and might be a revenge movie akin to "I Spit On Your Grave." The one scene I remember vividly is the main character, a young woman, taking a bath with a guy. They are sitting in the tub, facing each other. The guy playfully pulls the woman underwater. After a while, he gets worried because she has not surfaced. When she does finally come out, she is screaming.

HI, am looking for a British film I saw on UK television during the nineties, I also think it was a Nineties film, and it may have the word 'Drome' in the title? Basically it begins with a dozen or so black people (slaves) being allowed to perish on an English beach in the 1700's. Flash forward in time to a modern city Ghetto, and these same people are all re-incarnated and now live out life under a fascist regime in London or some other City. Not sure? Any help would be great! OH, and there is a lot of Rap music too, but not enough to spoil it.

I saw a movie, scary i believe, in the 1980's. It was in color on a VHS rented tape. I can not remember any of it except for this one part. I remember a scene which takes place in a bedroom. I think that the walls are yellow and there is a wooden dresser with either a mirror or a black & white family picture beside it. I think the object in question was round. A man is in the room and walks by the mirror/picture or looks into it and something appears. I'm not sure what. I just know that when i first saw it it took me by surprise and scared me. I was pretty sure that the movie started with a B, C, D, or H. I'm really leaning towards B though. I have read all of your website and found some questions and the answers similiar. However, i checked these movies out to no avail. I have also checked through my daughters movie guide with no luck. This is absolutely driving me crazy. I wish that i could be more specific. This movie was definetly not the changeling as i bought it and no luck. I think it could have been a ghost movie.

Circa 1964, family comedy or kids movie. This movie was very much like "The Reluctant Astronaut" (1967), but it came out a few years earlier. It might have also starred Don Knotts. It had that kooky, exaggerated Don Knotts / Disney style. It was about a nerdy man who accidentally gets sent into space, instead of the monkey that was planned for that flight. Since the monkey feeding apparatus in the capsule is still functional, it begins feeding the man bananas, then accidentally goes haywire towards the end, and begins feeling him at a very fast rate. I think they used sped-up footage for that part. I saw it in an elementary school matinee on a film projector around 1963-1965, in San Diego, California, so it must have been made sometime in the early 1960s. It was an American film, in color, a comedy geared towards kids. I saw this around the time "The Three Lives of Thomasina" (1963) and "It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad World" (1963) came out in theaters.

Circa 1967. This is a very unique short piece that took the place of a cartoon before the regular movie. It shows nothing but moving colored dots and moving flat colored geometical figures throughout the entire piece, and has no dialog except for a disgruntled man's voice commenting sourly on the entire movie, as if talking to his wife beside him, with a solo dialog like: "A moving dot. What is that supposed to be? A cockroach? I didn't pay $2.50 for a French movie to see a goddam cockroach. Now what? Squares? I didn't pay $2.50 for a French movie just to see some pink squares..." and on and on about it being an abstract art French movie that makes no sense, and how he had to pay $2.50 (?) to see it, and some swear words thrown in. This is very Beavis and Butt-head in style, but decades before MTV. It was probably an American film, color, qualifying as a comedy or adult cartoon, seen in a drive-in theater somewhere around 1965-1967, in San Diego, California.

Circa 1975. This is about a long-distance horse race across a southwestern American desert, I think set in the Old West era. The race spans several days. One foolish younger rider drives his own horse to exhaustion until the horse dies. An older, experienced cowboy, disgusted with the way the younger rider mistreated his horse, happens by and orders him to bury the horse right there in the sand, using only his hands, at a specified depth. He sternly instructs another rider stopped there for the incident: "You see to it! Only his hands," then rides on. The young rider asks the other rider waiting there, "Is that really important what he said, about using my hands?" The other rider says nonchalantly, "It must be. He said it twice." This was an American film, drama or Western, color, I saw it in an indoor theater around 1973-1975, in San Diego, California, and I'm almost certain the movie had just come out then.

Circa 1975. This was a story about a samurai swordsman walking with a white man, probably an American. traveling around with him for most of the movie. The white man was apparently being held captive by the samurai, but is unchained since the samurai knows the man can't escape since the samurai has acute vigilance and the only weapon. At one point in the movie the American asks if the samurai is going to sleep when they stop for the night, and the samurai announces that he already slept while they were walking, so he will keep watch himself. At another point the American waits for the samurai to fall asleep at night while they are camping together, the American makes a move to escape but the samurai wakes up (or takes note of the movement) and sees him with his arm extended, and the American quickly slaps his own neck as if swatting a mosquito, using the excuse "Darned mosquitoes!" The samurai seems to believe him since he pauses a moment, listening, and announces, "One mosquito." The samurai then quickly sweeps his sword through the air between them, once, and announces "No mosquito." This may have been a comedy movie, or maybe just a drama with humor. It must have been an American movie, probably early 1970s, probably color. I saw it on a black-and-white TV in 1975-1977 in San Diego, California, the same year "Serpico" (1973) was also shown on TV. I thought this was "Shogun" but it's not.

Comedy, probably 1950s. The only scene I remember was that of a film studio trying to make a low budget film about Adam and Eve, and they had a stage prop of a tree with the forbidden fruit, and Adam and Eve were standing underneath the tree, I think with a phony snake hanging from the tree. The man was wearing a Tarzan style outfit and the woman was wearing a spotted leopard skin short dress and her acting was terrible as she tried to talk in a seductive voice. When walking away from the tree, her hips were swaying in such an exaggerated mannner that one of the directors commented in an irritated manner if she could please "walk in the same piece." I saw this on a black-and-white TV around 1973, maybe 1971-1972, but the movie's style was that of 1940s-1950s black-and-white Bing Crosby comedy style. Obviously an American movie.

It was most definitely a children's/kid's movie, as I first saw it in preschool and later rented it with my family. I don't remember too much about it. It was very colorful. The main character was female; and though not a clown, dressed in odd, clownlike manner. At one point I think she talks to a bullfrog (maybe named Jeremiah) and at another I think she talks to a tree who makes corny jokes.

I think this movie is from the late eighties or early nineties. It is about a woman whose boyfriend/husband beats her and he ends up stabbing her in the front yard of her house and the cop who is supposed to be coming to help her stops to go to the bathroom first. One scene that really sticks out is after she is recovering from the incident her son( who is maybe 4) wants an apple and she can't cut it because her hand is partially paralyzed.

One scene i remember clearly is the guy takes it too an expert for him to test it or something and the thing takes off it's pants. This is a ghost movie or show from the early to mid 70's. I saw it on television at the time. The only scene I remember is that a couple is staying at an old house. It is similar to a setting you would see in The Waltons. The scene involved a woman in bed, and she is facing the door to the room. Her husband has to go somewhere, and she does not want to be left alone. She thinks the house is haunted, because when he shuts the door, there is a a white ghostly woman projected on the back of the door. As soon as she yells for him and he opens the door, the ghost is gone. When he shuts the door while he is in the room, there is no ghost. He tells her it is because she is "not well", and everything is going to be ok. He says he will be back very soon, and she cries and begs him not to go. I do not know if it was color or black and white, as we had a b&w TV at the time. It could have been a made for TV movie or an episode of something. I do not believe it was Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark.

Circa 1968, a horse movie. This was a horse movie made for young girls. The film is not "The Horse in the Gray Flannel Suit" (1968), although I saw it right around that same time. I saw it in 1967 or 1968, and it was typical for that era, so even if it came out a few years before then, it would have been from the 1960s. I think a young girl, possibly aided by other kids, were trying to catch a wild horse that lived in a semi-forested area. The film was in color and came out after "National Velvet" (1944), "Thunderhead - Son of Flicka" (1945), "Gypsy Colt" (1953), "The Adventures of Champion" (1955), and "My Friend Flicka" (1956), but before "Black Beauty" (1978), "The Black Stallion" (1979), and "The Black Stallion Returns" (1983). In the film, the horse had a catchy name that people used to refer to it, so apparently the horse was generally known to the townspeople. Circa 1969-1972, Disney style family movie. The setting is the Southern USA, possibly at the time automobiles just came out. The only scene I remember is a comedy scene early in the movie where a black man is driving an old-fashioned vehicle, possibly a Model T, and for some reason he loses control. I think a lot of white kids were riding along in the car with him, including a girl. Just before he crashes into the side of a wooden building (barn?), he says, "Oh shit!" The car crashes, nobody is hurt, but paraphernalia flies around from the showy crash, maybe chickens or cotton. I got the impression that he was working on a white man's plantation, maybe borrowing the plantation owner's car, so there was the sense that he feared possible repercussions. I remember thinking that was daring language for either Disney or any family movie at the time. I thought this was "Sounder" (1972) or "Candleshoe" (1977), but it's neither: it was much more lighthearted (comedy?) than "Sounder" and came out before "Candleshoe" and involved a black man who may have been a prominent part of the story. I saw this in a movie theater in San Diego, California, it was in color, a mainstream movie, likely between 1969-1972, I'm pretty sure no earlier than 1969 and no later than 1975.

Circa 1978, very vague description: There is one scene where a man is captured/abducted/seized and is later hung suspended by a rope, possibly upside-down, whereupon he is badly beaten up by his sadistic captor. My girlfriend described that scene by saying, "He really went to work on that guy." I never saw the movie myself, only heard about it. It came out between 1978-1980, just before "Convoy" (1978), "Lord of the Rings" (1978), and "Animal House" (1978), so in all likelihood it was from 1978. It must've been an American movie, action, color, seen in Orange County, California, though I don't know if it was seen at a drive-in theater or indoor theater. I got the impression the whole film was violent, probably an action movie geared towards male audiences. It may have involved Arabs. This was long before "Lethal Weapon" (1987) came out, which had a similar scene.
