Result: Ring Of Fear (1954) starring Mickey Spillane. *Maybe* The murderer is killed by a tiger. Thanx Marphisa.

It has appeared on the found page and been identified as 'Circus of Horrors' . I'm sorry but this is not the right answer, I have a copy of Circus of Horrors, an old favourite of mine. None of the scene depictions I described are present in this great Anton Diffring movie, who was actually a plastic surgeon on the run and rose to own the circus, sorry.

I saw it in England, I would guess in the late fifties, I was very young, it would have been prior to 1960. It starts with a man escaping from a mental institution. I can see him falling from a walkway onto a guard. He hides in a circus working with the performers but actually murdering them in many inventive ways. I can remember him pouring acid onto the trapeze/highwire ropes. It ends with a chase and he leaps into I think a railway car in which the big cats are being shipped and they kill him. It was in colour but I know no stars from it at all.

a Color 1980's Australian movie where a woman's husband is cheating with her best friend. Later, he pushes his wife into a river with alligators but she survives, gets plastic surgery, becomes a model, and comes back for revenge? I remember it playing on TV on channel KCOP in the 1980's.

Result: Strange Invaders (1983) Thanx Marphisa, Jonathan, ALNA70.

(Invasion of the body snatchers? - me)The sci-fi movie I'm looking for was in color and I recall seeing it between 1975-1983 as a child. The film was kind of an alien abduction type film. The movie starts in the 50's if I recall and an alien ship comes in. Over time, this whole small town was mostly converted to alien beings that still looked human if I recall. There was one scene where a guy is basically deflated like a balloon. I remember a middle-aged guy and a middle-aged, short-haired blonde gal basically being the last normal people that realize what's going on. Toward the end of the movie all these alien orbs start coming down from the alien craft that was up in the clouds. Then, people that were abducted 20-30 years early begin appearing from the orbs. They looked just as they were when they were abducted. Then, the alien craft is scene leaving earth and the movie is over.

Result: Creepshow 2 (1987) is a segment called The Raft, written by Stephen King, . It starred Page Hannah, Darryl's sister. Thanx Alli, Runninrabbit, Mark, Jeremy, Stareater.

I saw a teenage horror film in the late 80's or early 90's on television about teenagers who congregate at a lake for swimming and fun. They often swim out to a raft, and while they are sitting on the raft, this green filmy blanket thing covers them and pulls them into the water and they are killed. The ending has a teen-aged boy walking away from the lake and looking back at the water saying, "You didn't get me." And just then, this green thing that has never before emerged from the water comes out of the water as the boy is walking away, oblivious to his imminent death,a nd hovers above the boy. The movie ends there, and the audience knows that the green thing has won even over this boy in the end. I would love to see this movie again. Thank you so much for your help in researching this film. I believe the setting is just a typical American summer hangout at a lake where teens go to swim and socialize.

Result: The Shuttered Room (1967) The actress was Carol Linley. Thanx RomanyX.

should be 60's genre.I believe it was black and white.Young couple drives up to a house in convertible sports car.... There is a boy or man who is chained in a room in the house, obviously the psycho. The female in this film was the classic 60's sex kitten..there is a scene by a haystack of several guys watching as one guy unbuttons her blouse...Ultimately the chains break ..the chained psycho attacks. It had the B movie sex element.. but the intensity of the nutcase behind the door. was memorable.. may have had "Door " in the title.Saw it on TV.

Result: The Wraith (1986) with Charlie Sheen, the car is a Chrysler Turbo Interceptor prototype. Thanx Runninrabbit.

I think I saw this during the early 90's or late 80's. I'm not sure if it was a made for tv movie, or an episode of some sort of horror series. It may have been a big screen picture as well. All i can really recall is an evil car. It was a classic muscle car from the late 60's or 70's, red or brown in color, I believe. I think it might have been a dodge charger, or a plymouth roadrunner, or a chevy of some sort. Definitely not a Fury like Christine. The car may have had a modification to the grille. The top middle of the grille was bent down, and it made the car look like it had a mean face. It was driverless I think. I was young when this aired, and don't recall much of seeing this. The image of this mean looking car has just stuck in my head for some reason and I'd like to see the movie to see just what this car really was.

I can't remember the name of this film, but I'm pretty sure it is a one-word title, a Spanish or Italian horror film from between 1970-1972...plot is about a boarding school for girls out in the country, where the students are murdered off one by one...one murder takes place in a greenhouse. As it turns out, the headmistress' son is the killer...he keeps a part of each girl and turns these body parts in to one "perfect girl" at the end. The headmistress discovers him with the bodies in the attic. Saw this movie on television in the mid-late 80's

Result: Tales From The Darkside An episode called Ursa Minor. Thanx Marphisa.

I was told this movie doesn't exist. Please find this horror flick that was in the mid or late '80s. A little girl had a teddy bear that was being sought by a real bear. I'm not sure about this part but I do believe that the teddy bear was leaving bruises and scratches on the child. The little girl's mother kept asking the child how she got the bruises and scratches. The little girl would say teddy did it. And at the end, the mother threw the teddy bear in the garabage can. The mother bear was angry and came after the little girl and mother.

Result: Unico In The Island Of Magic It's about a little girl and a unicor who battle an evil wizard (it's a very adrogynous character, but is actually male) that floats and is very round...it turns people into toys. He has a large toy dragon creature that gaurds his castle that makes a really loud annoying werid honking laugh sound as it runs around throughout the castle walls and tunnels and chases the main characters. Just do a search for the title...it's out of print, but you can get it from ebay. Thanx ms_rissy.

I'm looking for a weird animated film probably from the mid to late 1980s but possibly from the early 1990s. It was fantasy/adventure movie for kids that had an ugly, female witch-like villain who was short and could hover in mid-air. It also involved a huge beast of some sort that ran through tunnels making a loud, honking laugh.

Hi! I saw a movie on VHS in the early 90's. I think it was a comedy. It was about a high school student (male) who was involved with mistaken identity. Some people thought he was an undercover agent/spy. His class took a trip to Europe (?) and an actress that I have seen in several other movies was referred to as the French Teacher. It has been many years since we saw this movie, but we were watching the upcoming scenes for Nip/Tuck and there was the actress and my husband and I both said "That's the French teacher".

Result: Shatter Dead (1994) Thanx Alli. Jun 26, 2006

I saw this film in the early 90s on VHS. Very low budget. The plot revolves around the dead not dying. They don't become zombies. They stay the same people they were in life, and can still move and speak. They have no bloodflow (I mention this because in one really funny scene, a woman is trying to have sex with her boyfriend, but he has no "bloodflow"). The dead become like the homeless - they are lying on the street with signs around their necks saying "newly dead, please help." They military is involved in some capacity, but the only thing I can remember about them is that they give the woman (our heroine) a ride to her boyfriend's town. The boyfriend spends the rest of the movie trying to get the woman to commit suicide so that she can be dead too.

Result: The House That Bled To Death originally an episode of Hammer House of Horror. Thanx Marphisa.

It was a film I watched in the early 80s on video all I can remember is there was a family, mother, father and one daughter who moved house through an estate agent and at the new house blood started coming out of the walls (this was not Amityville) and bad things started happening to the daughter until she went insane. The parents told the daughter that she was imagining the events. Towards the end the daughter found a book that was about how to drive your children mad that was wrote by the estate agent and his picture was on the back cover. After she found the book she ran into her parents bedroom and killed them with a large knife.

Result: The Midnight Hour (Again!!!) (1985)(TV) Thanx Alli, Runninrabbit, Marphisa.

The movie I am looking for came out in the late 1980s! I saw this movie on television and never heard of it being advertised for theaters. It was a Zombie movie where a young man goes to a cemetary and a young woman rises from her grave but he didn't know she was dead because I don't think he saw her rise from the grave plus she didn't look dead the only strange thing about her was her outfit. She had on a 1950s style poodle skirt or something like that. I remember they started talking to each other and all of a sudden everyone in the cemetary started rising from there graves but they were Zombies with their skin all hanging off. The last thing I can remember is that they were falling in love with each other and had to try and stop or get rid of the zombies by a certain time and by doing that, it meant that she had to go back to her grave as well.

Looking for a movie I saw on TV in the 80's sometime - late night/early morning - low budget - all I really remember about the movie is a troop of strange freaks almost like a carnival of sorts coming out of a cave and doing something maybe even good in a town and then going back into their cave - very dark movie - strange music - but it plagues me not to remember it better

Result: Pod People The MST3K version has been released on DVD. Thanx Amy.

I'm looking for a movie that I saw on tv in the mid 90's but was probably made in the late 70's or 80's. It was about a band and there was a fat guy in a recording studio with a t-shirt that said "I'm a Virgin". There were some really cheasy sound effects like a guy walking barefoot but it sounded like he was walking with boots on. I'm not sure if it was a comedy, horror, or drama but the fat guy in the Virgin shirt cracked me up and I ended up making "I'm a Virgin" t-shirts for my band.

Result: Nausicaa Of The Valley Of The Winds an earlier film by Hayao Miyazaki. Thanx Dan.

This was an animated film/show that I saw around 1989-1992? Unfortunately the only thing that I can remember about it is toward the end when the main female character is caught in a stampede of some sort (possibly buffalos or a similar animal) while her friends watch from afar. She is thought to be dead but she ends up living because she has some sort of special power or is cured by a special power. For some reason I think her name might be Sonja or something like that.

Result: The Sadist (1963) with Arch Hall, Jr. Thanx Alli.

I saw this move in the early 70s (1970 - 1973) on TV. Some folks are on their way to a baseball game when their car suffers a breakdown. When they pull off at a service station / junkyard to seek help, they encounter an insane killer who slowly dispatches the tourists, until only a woman and the killer are left. She succeeds in blinding the killer with gasoline, who then chases her, out into the desert. The killer everntually falls into an arroyo / pit where he is dispatched by rattlesnakes living there.

I am looking for an old adult cartoon HBO Short Take from the 70's or 80's. What I do remember is that it was in a different world and had grown adult people and these people had little miniature people (I think they were servants) that they would not let out of their control. I'm not sure of the plot. I think the title of the short had the word World in it. It was in color.

Result: The Tin Drum (1979) aka Die Blechtrommel (I believe this film was declared kiddie porn in the U.S. - me) Thanx Marphisa.

I saw this scene on T.V. in the late 70's or early 80'S. It sounds like a dirty movie but it's not. A guy and a girl are laying on the ground outside, one of them puts a powder on the other's stomach "looks like collade powder" and than spits water on it and drinks off of the stomach (or out of belly button). It sounds like a sex scene but it's nothing like that. It's just such a weird scene that it's driving me crazy wanting to know what was going on.

Result: Happy Birthday To Me Thanx babygirl38258.

The main character is a girl called mary who has weird dreams and has a psychiatrist who visits her at school, or he works there. The first dream of hers we see it's her birthday and she blows out the candles and cuts the cake, and blood starts pouring out. Everyone acts horrified and her mother asks her what she wished for and her father takes a huge chunk of the cake and says "Yeah, Mary, what did you wish for" after shoving the cake into his mouth. The next morning she is talking to her phsychiatrist (Or he's the school psychiatrist) and he starts talking about putting her back on medication because of her dreams.

Result: Harlequin (1980) aka Dark Forces starring Robert Powell. Thanx Marphisa.

I am looking for a movie that I think was made in the mid 80's. I think it has the word Force in it...like Dark Force or something along those lines. Its about a family with one(I think) child (son) and he is sick...I think he has a form of cancer. This magician shows up and says he's there to help the kid. While he is there his face appears on the kitchen floor and can't be washed off for some reason. The parents have a dinner party and the magician does some "tricks" for the people. He throws a dove in the air and throws a cimble through it. Then this woman says that she has a growth on her arm and she would like him to get rid of it. He starts to move the growth down her arm and tells her to make sure that it keeps feeling orange...if it starts to feel black he would have to stop. When he gets the growth to her finger, he takes a knife and chops off her finger...but as he shows later when all the people are stunnded that he has done this..it was only a carrot. The kid starts to get better and the disease starts to go away...but the parents don't like this guy and want him to leave.

Result: The Changeling (1980) (again!!) starring George C. Scott. Thanx Stareater, Marphisa, ALNA70.

I saw this movie on television in (I think) the early 90's. It was about a man who lived alone in a big house. He would hear noises of what I think were chains. He would find a boy but I'm not sure if the boy was real, a ghost, or a memory. I remember one scene were the boy is in a tub and then he drowns. It was a color movie. I think the man digs up a grave at one point, or has a dream where hands reach up through the ground under the dirt. I always thought the title was "chainsling" or something that sounded like that. (I looked up changeling but I don't think it's the same movie).

#1362

Result: Trick Or Treat (1986) with Marc Price (aka Skippy from Family Ties) and Ozzy Osbourne (as a preacher!!!) and Gene Simmons. Thanx Alli, ALNA70, Runninrabbit.

The movie I am looking for was made in the 1980's (I think). It is about a Rock Star (I think) that dies in a fire while Satanic rituals in a motel/hotel. There is a tape that this guy gets and the Rock Star comes back through the tape and wants the guy to play the tape at like radio stations and such so he can come back to life through the tape. (the tape is a metal looking thing). I believe it was set around Halloween time.

Result: La Cabina (1972) (TV) directed by Antonio Mercero. Thanx Marphisa.

I remember seeing a movie when I was a young kid (mid to late 1970's). I believe it was a short film and may have been foreign. As far as I recall it was in colour, and I saw it late one night on British TV. It was about a man who entered a phone booth to make a call. When he tried to leave he found he was stuck inside. He ended up calling the fire dept who came out to rescue him. They were about to smash the booth open when a van from the phone company turned up. The phone booth was loaded onto the back of the van, with the man still inside, and off it went. The journey took hours and from what I remember it took him out to the wilderness. On his way down one road he was passed by an identical van whcih had a phone booth on the back of it, and there was a man trapped in that one too. Eventually the van drove into a huge cavern in what I think was the side of a mountain. Inside this cavern were thousands upon thousands of these phone boxes, each with a trapped person inside. Most were dead, some having strangled themselves using the phone cord. Many of the bodies were nothing more than decomposed skeletons. The man in his phone box was set down in the cavern and left there to face his doom.

Result: The Quest (again!!!)(1986) aka Frog Dreaming starring Henry Thomas. Thanx Marphisa, Alli, ALNA70, Jonathan.

I saw this movie mid 80's on a rented vhs tape (not sure when from possible late 70's to mid 80's)It was in color. Do not know any of the actors. A group of boys (dont remember if there were any girls) are trying to find out about a monster that lives in a lake. They find some old man lives in the backwoods in a shack, claims he has seen the monster rise out of the lake. To sum it up it turns out that this lake is in an old quarry, turns out the monster is some old machinry like a bulldozer that occasionaly moves in the water and the shovel comes out and looks like a monsters head.

Result: Equinox Thanx Mark.

This movie was made by college students in the late 60's or early 70's; it used to be advertised in the back of Eerie/Creepy/Vampirelly magazines and I thought that it was called "Brig-a-Doom" or something like this. These colleg students are out and about in the woods and they meet a strange man who turns out to be the devil or a demon, but he looks and acts like a gentleman. He chases one of the students and just when you think the student gets away, he gets hit by a car with no one at the wheel!

#1358

Result: Texas Snow-line (1984) Thanx ALNA70, Alli.

This movie revolved around a young studly surfer looking guy who worked at a country club and was sleeping with some mob boss's wife. He and his friends manage to pull off robbing a casino or night club of sorts and they get away with robbing both patrons and the casino/bar itself. They finally get caught when the guy who is sleeping with the other guy's wife buys a Mercedes convertible with his money and the crime boss's thugs get the information from him on where the rest of the guys are and they all get blown away in the end, one by one. A memorable part in this movie is when a large bearded man who resembles Dom DeLuise or Paul Prudhomme is being held hostage in the Florida swamps and he breaks free of his ropes, slashes an alligator's tail off with a machete, and beats his captor with it. I thought that the movie was called "White Line" or "White Powder" something (definitely not White Line Fever), but it might not be, because I cannot find it anywhere on www.imdb.com.

Result: Massacre At Central High (again!!!) Thanx Mark, Marphisa, ALNA70.

There was this movie I saw in the early 80's on one of those late night movie shows. I'm pretty sure it was an early 70's film. I remember seeing these young guys (high schoolers or college guys) taking a shop class (I think). This one guy is getting teased and picked on by everyone else. I remember this one scene where he was under a car working on it when the car rim crushes his leg. The tire was off of the car so it cut into his leg bad. I can't remember if one of the bad guys kicked the jack or if the jack just happened to slip. It seems like this one guy is going to get revenge on everyone but I don't remember what happened after his leg got crushed. The lead character of the movie who gets his leg crushed has a very rugged looking face (kind of scarred looking). I have seen in other low budget 70's movies but don't know the names of those movies either.

Result: Crane Feathers aka "Zhuravlinye per'ya" (original title), USSR directed by Ideya Garanina. Stop-motion-animation short, based on a Japanese fairy tale more commonly known as "The Crane Wife". The young woman turns back into a crane, not a swan. Thanx Juniper. Jul 12, 2006

I saw this in school in Canada probably around 1986, but it could have been made much earlier. It was a children's movie in colour and we watched it on film. It wasn't a cartoon, but wasn't live action either, more like little puppets or claymation type. Anyways, the story is I believe a Japanese tale. It's about a little old man who helps a young lady. She thanks him and makes some lovely cloth for him but tells the old man to never look in the room when she's weaving. The young lady keeps getting more and more tired every day and he's worried about her, so he peeks in the room while she's weaving and discovers she's really a swan. I remember the little old man making rice balls.

Result: Crash And Burn (1990) Thanx ALNA70.

i saw this film in the late 80's all i remember is a group of people are trapped in a building and they are being hunted by a machine that sences fear the first person to die was a fat gent in a lift during the film one of the people puts on a black suit he finds which alters his brain waves and stops fear completely they then go 1on 1 great gore and fight scene between the gent in the suit and the machine.

Result: Stepmonster (1993) Thanx Runninrabbit.

I think the movie I'm looking for was released in the late 80's or early 90's. It's sort of cheesy, but I remember how much I liked it and want to see it again. It's about a boy whose mother vanishes and his dad marries an alien/monster who acts nice, but really doesn't like the boy. There is one part where the boy catches her eating a chicken leg out of the garbage and in the last scene all of her victims come out alive of the cave she kept them in where they were wrapped in some sort of sticky cocoon. I know the vhs cover has a picture of the alien/monster in a wedding dress with part of her leg showing and her leg is green. I know for sure it's not "My stepmother is an alien."

Result: Stealing Beauty (1996) with Liv Tyler and Jeremy Irons, directed by Bernardo Bertolucci. Thanx Jac, Alli, Marphisa, Rampantbliss.

I saw this film during the 1980s, perhaps the early 1990s as reruns on television. I believe it was made in the 80s, though. It was about a college-age girl whose mother had died and she had found some letters or a diary her mother had written. The setting is in Europe, possibly Italy, where the girl is meeting her mother's bohemian-type friends and possibly finding her real father, who is a sculptor. She falls for a local boy who is very rich, but a player, and then in the end falls for a quieter boy and he becomes her first love. There is an eclectic group of people living there; one of the men is very sick, possibly with aides. I believe she is wanting to become a writer.

Result: End Play australian film with john waters. Thanx kyacarver.

I have been desperately searching for the title to a British or possibly New Zealand/Australian film I believe was titled "Endgame" (one word). Repeated searches for this title have bore little fruit, however. I rented the film around 1987-ish, and by the looks of the wardrobe and production it may have been filmed/released as early as the late 70's. The film deals with two wealthy brothers, one in a wheelchair, and a dead woman in the trunk of a car. Archery with a crossbow features in the "whodunnit" aspect of this mystery/suspense/thriller (which I remember finding in the "horror" section of my local mom and pop video store). The action takes place almost entirely in the wheelchair bound brothers house.

Movie in the 50's or 60's. A married woman falls in love with another man and becomes pregnant by the other man. Her husband finds out about the affair but he doesn't want to give her a divorce so she ends up leaving her husband to stay with the other man, even though she never got a divorce. I don't remember the parts in between but I do remember at the end of the movie her and her maid cought the train to see her husband because she suspects him of cheating and while there the woman jumps in front of the train.

Result: Tomorrow (1972) starring Robert Duvall. Thanx Alli.

Saw an indy film, very early eighties, in Newport Beach, CA. An off season guard of a remove work site (maybe in the 1920s or so) runs into a young woman in trouble who dies and he has the baby. The guard is almost humoursly barren of any stimuli -- I remember a long slow eat of a meal alone, but he slowly comes to life as he learns to care for the boy. You get the sense that he blooms in raising the boy, but the boy at the end grows up to be a criminal and dies. The guard is someone well known - I kept thinking Robert Duval but I can't find anything on him.

During the robery, they all wore similar redish jump suits (not 100% sure on that). Along the way, members of the team get killed off, not by guards, but by booby traps that were set in place. I am also fairly certain one of the traps was an arrow. Also, one of the main charicters/thieves was a woman. The lead man I want to say was someone who reminded me of Charles Bronson or Roger Moore, but not them.

Result: Alexandre Le Bienheureux (1967) Directed by Yves Robert aka Alexander Thanx gunn(poster).

This is a movie that was shown on PBS, most likely shown and made in the 70s. It was a comedy, and was most likely a foreign film, perhaps French, but as I remember it, it had very little dialogue. The basic plot is that the main character is married to an overbearing wife who is always telling him what to do, and snapping her fingers when he doesn't do it fast enough for her taste. She gets killed, I think by a car, and he is incredibly happy while at the same time everybody is giving their condolonces to him. There are two memorable scenes. One is once he's begun his bachelor life, he sleeps all day and never leaves his bed. There's a scene of him in bed with bread and sausages hanging over the bed on pullies so that he doesn't have to get out of bed for food. The other is at the end of the movie, where, after he's fallen for the girl who was delivering food to his house, they're standing at the altar, and the priest asks him if he'll marry her for as long as they both shall live. As he's thinking about this question in light of his previous wife, he takes too long and so the bride snaps her fingers for him to hurry up, at which point he runs screaming out of the church.

Result: Northern Exposure not a movie but an episode in which Rob Morrow and Janine Turner go to her family's house and her grandmpther does not want to come out. Morrow plays basketball against her old boyfriend and the boyfriend has a heart attack.) Thanx brettfavre4fan.

Color film, tv movie (?), American film, possibly seen in the mid 90's. A family gathers for a party thrown in honor of the grandmother, but the grandmother locks herself in the bathroom and refuses to come out. Eventually the granddaughter is allowed into the bathroom to talk to the woman and they reminisce about life and smoke cigarettes out the window. The hostess of the party is the grandmother's daughter and is a very uptight woman, furious that the grandmother will not cooperate. I remember too that the men of the family go to the backyard to play basketball and one of them ends up having a heart attack.

These kids who visit the house next door to an abandoned house. One of the kids who is a girl is being haunted by the the little girl who used to live in the house Rachel (I think her name was) back in the olden days. The ghost girl tells what really happend to that her when her family was killed by robbers. The girl went missing and no one knew what happened to her. She went down the the fire place into a secret room with one of the robbers because the others were dead now. (might be escaped convicts) Men are looking for this treasure and come looking for this house after they searched coming down the river. The kids had taken a trip down the river earlier and had run into the men. They might have taken a map from them or found it. The kids went looking for the treasure in the abandon house that the robbers had left behind in the olden days when women wore long dress days like the old fashion pictures we take now days. The kids and the people they are staying with are in the house trying to hide or are made to go down into the fireplace just like before and find the secret room and also find money which helps the people they were staying with because they were getting ready to loose there house or something. The haunted girl starts hearing the ghost girl and walks down the tunnel and ends up finding her bones in this big hole. Then after they get out of this mess they put her with her parents in the grave yard.

i believe the movie was out in the early 80's about a guy who lures about 6 people to an island to get revenge on them one by one. Each of them at one point or another has done something to him that has caused him pain. One of the guys tht gets lured to the island is from his high school and there was a car accident in which the guy left him there and poured liquor all on him. His face was badly burned. They all end up dying in the end except for the girl i think he loves her.

Result: The Granny (1995) starring Stella Stevens and Shannon Whirry. Thanx Alli.

The movie was done in either the late 80's or 90's,and takes place in a large mansion. A mousy (good looking) girl is taking care of her wealthy grandmother who is dying. Realitives start showing up to compete for the grandmothers money by being nice to her, but stabbing each other in the back. The wealthey grandmother takes a potion of youth(?) and turns into a monster(I think) or some such, and goes around killing all the family members. The only ones that survive are the mousy girl and I think an outsider.

Result: Poltergeist (1982) Thanx ALNA70, mblonigan22.

I saw this movie sometime in the 80s (82-89) at a drive in. All I remember is that there was a girl with short curly blonde hair that was on her bed in her room, when all of a sudden the closet doors open. The girl tries to stop being pulled into the closet by holding onto the bedposts, but it is no use and she eventually gets sucked in. This is all that I remember. I hope someone can help me find the name of this movie because I have been searching for years with no luck. I really want to see it again since this movie caused me to be scared of having my closet door open when I sleep for 20 years now.

I am looking for a movie that I watched that I think was called the ventriloquist. I watched it on TV around 1994. In this movie there was a ventriloquist who was a killer who could throw his voice. He was hiding in this womens apartment but he was camoflaged into the brick wall. He was able to throw his voice even when he was right in front of you. I think I saw the movie on usa or some other cable network. I remember there was a cop in the movie who eventually helps her. It takes place in a city.

Result: Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things (1972) Thanx ALNA70.

I saw this zombie movie on a local broadcast network (channel 9?) in New York in the mid 70s and it was probably shown a few times in the 70s on that channel. I was very young but from what I remember the survivors are besieged by zombies in a house (trust me this is not 'Night of the Living Dead') and the zombies break in the house and the survivors rush to the top floor/attic. As they run some guy becomes a coward and tosses a baby to the zombies so he can escape. I also seem to recal them survivors kicking a woman into the zombies as the climb the stairs. I am not sure as to the sequence. I remember the movie ending at night with news reports of the crisis and zombies en mass crossing over a bridge as what seemed to my young mind millions of zombies invade what looks liek New York or some such a big city. This is not the Italian movie 'Zombie 2' which I thought it might be.

movie from probably the 80's. It's either an action movie or a thriller. It's about a guy who is clausterphobic and I think he's trying to protect some girl. There is a killer on the loose and the clausterphobic guy chases him into a tunnel, the guy has a panic attack in the tunnel and the killer escapes. I think some of the chase scenes were on a beach or something but I may be wrong.

I saw this movie in the 90s. I saw it on tv. Im assuming its from the 80s-90s. Its a fairytale/fantasy movie. Definitely in color. Its about this girl who lives in some sort of country thats always winter. I think shes a princess of it or maybe just a daughter of someone really well off. If I remember correctly she gets bored of it or something like that and leaves. She then finds a country where its always summer. She meets this prince but he seems to be cursed somehow by a witch who I believe is in love with him.

I'm really not sure when it was made. I rented it about 10 or more years ago, I think it was made in the 70s or 80s. It was in color. I was about this guy who had bought this house, victorian I think, and he was restoring it. He finds an old steamer trunk hidden in the wall of the basement I think was the room. Anyway, he opens it and finds this womans body. She was married to the original owner and he'd found her cheating on him I think. He locked her in this trunk and buried her in the wall. Once he finds it, she starts haunting him. I remember she had long dark hair and period dress. She killed his pet kitten in the bathtub to have some company. They start sleeping together somehow too.

In the movie: The kids go to another world to kill a man with a heart of stone. They get to this other world by traveling on a giant old mans head. they are holding onto the mans beard, as he flys away. (update from Brent)

The movie I am looking for is from the mid 80's. It starts out with a young boy, obvioulsy poor, in the middle of a town square. There is a big flash of light and he is transported to another world. He goes on an adventure and has to kill a man with a stone heart. There is also a white horse. Someone else wrote this and I think it's about the same movie although I don't remember the flutes; "it's about two kids who are on some quest I believe to kill a man w/ a stone heart in some castle. Late in the movie they get the sword to kill him as the sword doesn't have much to do w/ the movie and for whatever reason, the kids (they are about 9-11) are playing panflutes and along the way they learn another song for those damnable flutes that help them get into the castle or so we believe." we had it on VHS taped off of the TV.

I saw a short film on HBO/Cinemax in the early 80's on a bit they called Short Takes or some such. The film was a stop-action animated piece that had nuts dressed up like Spanish people in mantillas and sombreros. They danced to "Brazil" in a Busby Berkley kind of musical stage show extravaganza. It was a trip. Where can I find this piece of cinema history?

Result: The Old Dark House (1963) Thanx Colleen(poster).

I'm looking for a movie I saw as a child in the early 70's (although I would suspect that the film had been made in the 60's). I would say that it was a comedy/horror/myster movie. It involved a man (a salesman?) stranded at an old house, possibly because of bad weather. The house had several odd ball characters (one of them is building an ark for the second flood and is collecting animals for it). The characters start getting killed off (I believe one of them was killed with her own knitting needles). The main character is attracted to one of the household members (the sweet girl) but it's obvious that he is ment to be with the dark haired, not as sweet girl. The killer turns out to be the sweet girl.

Result: Ghost Story (1972) aka Circle of Fear An episode called House of Evil starring Jodie Foster, and Melvyn Douglas as her grandfather. First aired November 10, 1972. (see #832) Thanx Marphisa.

This was on TV a long time ago, it's probably from the late 60's or early 70's. I don't know if it was a theatrical movie, or it could have been from a "night gallery" type TV show. An old woman, possibly a Grandmother, who may have been a witch, makes a doll house for a young girl, which includes cloth "rag" dolls. Each time the girl does something to a doll, the same thing happens to a member of her family. I remember one scene where the girl makes the mother doll fall down the stairs, and her mother does the same. At the end we see the doll house burning, and then the house itself burning in the same manner.

I saw this movie on TV a long time ago, 70's or early 80's. It was about a passenger jet plane that crashed in a jungle (South America?) and I can't remember if the plane broke apart before it hit the ground, but there was a girl who was strapped in her seat that ended up in a tree which broke her fall. And then she had to make her way out of the jungle. I think she was the only survivor. I don't think this film was American made. The deatails are fuzzy but the movie was mostly about her trying to get out of the jungle and dealing with the elements.

I saw this movie on TCM or AMC (I think) sometime between 1988 and 1994 or so, probably (not sure though, I was a kid when I saw the movie.). I don't remember the premise of the movie, but I recall that the characters were on an island, possibly stranded. Maybe treasure hunting. All I can really remember was that there were these giant bees. Two of the human characters got trapped by the bees in a honeycomb that the bee sealed over. Then one of the characters burned a hole in the wax seal and they got out. One of the characters was a girl wearing a really short skirt and the other character was a hunky guy. There were other characters who were trying to rescue the two from the bees. They come across the queen bee, who is actually a human played by an actress. She had been abandoned and raised by bees. She had really long brown hair and could call the bees by letting out a weird scream.

I remember seeing this movie either on tv or rented (not sure) in the late 70's to early 80's and it was in color. All I really remember is what I believe is the ending. There's a man who I THINK looks like Kenny Rogers, but it isn't him, who is trapped on a mountain in some sort of little pocket like crevice and the rescuers can't get him out. For some reason, I keep thinking that he was a rescuer himself and had gone on the mountain to rescue someone and then gotten stuck himself. It is not just like a mountain hillside, it's like a rock climbing type mountain that he's stuck on and I think it was supposed to be based in Colorado in the Rockies.

Well it's this comedy and I think it's called something like manguy or something, and it's about this lawyer, and it's just really funny apparently. And there's this one scene when he wants to get money out of an atm and he forgets his pin, and he goes crazy trying to remember it, and this scene lasts for a while, and it's really well done the way they drag it out. And yeah, the guy is crazy and apparently each scene ends with him doing something violent.
