This is a fairly recent colour movie, I would say between 1999-2002. It looks like it could have been an independent movie as it obviously has a small budget and is very 'film school'. The film seem's to be mainly set in the house of a man, I think he was a school teacher. He has hallucinations throughout the film, while being investigated over the murder of his wife. He essentially goes slowly insane as the film progresses and makes small discoveries about what happened, not sure if he is responsable or not. It starred someone like Jeff Bridges or Tim Robbins, a subtle yet known actor. I remember that it messed with your mind quite a bit and was quite dark without being explicit. I originally watched this on UK sky movies a few years back. Thanks for any insights.

Back in the early 1070's I remember seeing a movie on TV, (scared me half to death as a child) about a woman who had been raised by her Aunt, (perhaps in the East?) eventually the aunt dies, by this time the womans parents are also dead. She returns to her parents home, and finds that she has a sister, I can't remember if the sister was a twin, (I'm thinking she was) and she was either crazy or retarded and lived in the attic. At the very end of the movie, the house burns with the sister in it. I also recall seeing a movie where a little girl is sitting in the floor of her bedroom, singing "Do not laugh when a hearse goes by, or you may be the next to die".

I have been looking for a movie made for television about 20 years ago. It had to do with an elderly lady, a young bride-to-be, her fiance and a possible fiance from the 1800's or early 1900's. It has to do with a mirror or dress (this is what transports her back in time). She eventually chooses to stay back in time but her fiance from this time period is shot & killed, bride-to-be links the killing to elderly lady who is lying in bed (obviously dying). It is not Somewhere In Time w/ Christopher Reeves as the two individuals actually have physical contact. Please help if you can!

I saw this movie sometime in the 1970s. A boy moves to a large house, probably a mansion. He has fairly long brown hair. He meets a girl who is a ghost and cannot completely die because her body was never found. She enlists him to help her. Seems to be set more in a victorian era - girls all in long elegant dresses. I remember one part where she can become "alive" for a moment, and she and the boy dance together outside of a ballroom on a veranda or something. In the end, they find her body. They find her doll, and she had fallen down a well.

When I was a young child (7-12yrs) I saw a movie on T.V. It was sometime between 1973-1979. All I remember was it was about a couple who were traveling, sorta hippie like, possibly in a VW bus. They found some property in the mountains and decided to live there. She got pregnant and during her pregnancy got a terminal illness. The only thing I remember after that is that she died when the child was still a baby. When she died the Dad was in a sence vowing that he would never let the baby forget it's mother. It was a tear jerker. For some reason I remember this song being played in the movie. It was either Terra Jacks, Seasons in the Sun. Or Sunshine On My Shoulders by John Denver? The girl and the doll would be making a lot of noise and when the mother would come in, the girl would be sitting on the bed innocently and the doll would be back in the closet or in its box. This is going to sound insane, but when I was about 10 years old (which would make it around 1976)-I saw a movie on regular tv and the parts I remember have haunted me ever since. All I remember is two ladies sitting on a sofa having tea and talking about a girl, then you see the girl in her bedroom sitting on her bed and her closet opens and a doll comes out and sits with her on the bed and starts to smoke a cigarette. I think she calls him Jaimie or Jesse ??? I can't remember- but when her Mother starts to come in- he hides back in the closet. And I vaguely remember the doll trying to kill someone. I'm looking for the title of a movie, and it has been really bugging me. The movie begins where a white baby is left by a black woman on the doorstep of who could have been white missionaries. It might have taken place in Africa. The woman dies in the process of getting the boy there, and they have no clue who he is or where he came from. They raise him, and he becomes best friends with a black boy. The two boys love rolling down hills in gigantic truck tires (I think), and one day the white boy gets seriously hurt doing this. There is a scene with the boy unconscious in a hospital bed. The story of his injury was in a newspaper, and his biological grandmother realizes he is her grandson, who disappeared from a car crash that killed his parents. It was in color, maybe from the 70's-80's. I might have seen it on the Disney Channel. It was definitely made prior to 1990. I saw it on TV. Thanks so much.

I saw this movie on TV. A boy moves to a new high school in a desert area in the West. The school logo may have been the Mustangs, but Mustangs were a theme throughout the entire movie. The boy is in need of guidance, because his dad is in prison. Somehow, some wild horses and an Indian man in the desert help him. I remember the scenery was beautiful in this movie, with sand dunes and cliffs. He might then have hooked up with a girl whose father was also in prison. I remember the two fathers played cards in jail at one point in the movie. I might have seen this on the Disney channel. It was in color. Maybe 80's - 90's.

This was an 80's movie, probably early 80's, played frequently on HBO. I believe it took place in New York with one girl who had a rich family and lived in like a penthouse, she was like 13 and they had a maid and what not. Then she meets this girl- she had black curly hair who was older like 15-16, from like the "tough" side of the city, she has very religious & I think italian family, they are poor. The rich girl is like obsessed with being like the other girl. The "tough" girl has an older? brother who hits on to the rich girl and the sister gets mad and jealous all the time. At one point they go to a department store and steal makeup, then the younger rich girl walks alone to the other girls house through what seems to be Spanish harlem and she is like horrified because she grew up so sheltered. I loved this movie, this "tough" chick was so intriguing and good acting. Also the tough girls father is a plumber or something and like rapes an upstairs neighboor but o! nly the younger girl knows and sees it happen. Great flick.

i saw this movie in the early 90's. it was set i think in america, the movie is in color. from what i can remember it was about a girl who was babysitting her little brother and then while he is sleeping some creatures, i cant remember what they were, came in and took him. the girl then had to go and find him. i remember she had to run through a maze typ thing to get to him. i also remember the the creatures lived in a cave, and that there were alot of them. it was my cousins movie but he doesnt remember it either.

Perhaps in the late 50's or early 60's. In a theater in black and white. In fact they may not even be from the same movie, but the images have stuck with me, and as an adult I would love to watch them again. The first scene I remember is in the family kitchen where the family is operating a Ouija Board. Suddenly the Ouija flies off the board and slams one family member into the stove or wall. The second scene is a woman at the top of a staircase sitting in a rocking chair when all of a sudden her head rolls down the stairs.

I rented this movie in either late 1999 or early 2000, it was in the new release sectiion. It is about a young girl whose mother has recently died and she wants to go overseas to do modeling. Her father finally gives in and she goes, but there's weird things that go on once she's there. She goes in a trance every time she sees this one guy and there's a near by castle that she goes to and there's some kind of cult or something along that order going on. I know at the end the main bad guy (whether it's the devil or a vampire, I can't remember) falls through the floor into hell. HELP I want to see this movie again.

When I was a kid, I saw a movie on TV that scared the bejesus out of me. I thought it was called "The Paper Man", but can't seem to find any mention of it. This would have aired in the early to mid 70s and involved what I recall to be a "haunted" office building. I remember a smallish doll made of white paper resembling a man with no specific face or other human characteristics. I don't think that it ever moved, but that it psychically caused murderous things to happen in the building. One particularly memorable scene had a man trapped in an elevator. The elevator opened so that the outside floor level was about chest high to the man inside. When he attempted to climb out, the elevator car rapidly resumed its descent, cutting the man in half. I think a character finally realized that the doll was causing the mayhem and destroyed it, possibly with fire. I've mentioned this movie to lots of folks in the past and nobody seems to have seen it. If possible, please help. Thanks.

I was born in 1983, so this movie was out between 1985-1995. it was a kid's movie about a girl that needed to get magical strawberries to save her grandmother who was dying. she had to go through her magical mirror in her room to get to these strawberries. on the otherside was small, furry friends and they were cute. Also, there was a witch to prevent her from getting the strawberries and an elephant with a "up and down" voice. one other part was when two of the furry things were on the human side of the mirror, in the girls house, they got stuck in and washed in the washing machine. at the end she got the strawberries but as she walked through the mirror she tripped or something and they all fell out of the glass jar and i think they disappeared. it was a color VHS video. it is not in video stores today.

Sometime during the 80's on TV in England I remember watching a movie which featured a boy, about 12-15 years old, this boy has mind powers (telekinesis) that can allow him to move objects around (i think he may have been an alien) the kid is tagging allong with some guy and then suddenly these mysterious agents start chasing them. Its definatly not the film "escape from witch mountain" though its the same sort of time period. my vague memorys recall that at one point the kid is abducted by these agents, and taken to what appears to be an electrical facility (looks like a big white water tower) where he is strapped to a table and they brainwash him so they can use him as a weapon. another scene which I think is from the same movie involves a large group of wild bikers coming into the town, raising hell, one of the bikers is riding in a coffin with a plastic skelington, the kid does something with his mind powers and the bikers get scared and race away. I'd be interested in knowing what the film was called, I also have a suspicion this was a sequel to another movie featuring the same boy, I remember a sherrifs cabin, a spaceship and the words "butch casidy and the sundance kid", I only caught the end of the movie though. if you have any info on these movies please send it in, thanks. I can't remember the title of the movie or how long ago it came out but it is bothering me please help. It is about several construction guys going to reconstruct an insane asylum. I think one of the characters name was gordon (don't quote me on the name). Anyways he is having problems with his marriage or so it seems. The guys end up one by one mysteriously missing. One guy find money and rings,etc in the wall of the asylum he is the first one missing i believe. The last guy dies at the truck outside of the building cause the lights went out and he was afraid of the dark. The killer of these guys was gordon or what ever his name was. This science fiction movie is probably from the mid-50's, early 60's at best. It is an end of the world film that is set in a destroyed city where the main characters are trying to figure out if anyone else is left. I distinctly remember an African American male who is trying to save all the books he can from the library ( which is filling with water). There is a white, blonde woman who spends time with him in a small apartment. In the end, these two meet another white man and there is a scene where the 3 of them are setting on the bank of a river, planning the future of mankind between them. I have no idea what the name is but the "book salvage" remains a memory because I love to read. My older brother is 61 and we used to watch these movies together on television. I would really love to at least name it, maybe rent or buy it and take a trip down memory lane. I'm looking for a movie or television program I watched before 1969 on TV in America in Pensacola, Florida. I think it was black and white. There were only (3) channels airing during this time 'ABC' 'CBS' and 'NBC'. I believe it was on a Saturday morning. The program, from what I can remember, shows a dog coming back in the form of a man to find his murderer. I believe the dog was poisoned. Also there horse returned as woman. One scene in the program I remember is the lady wore a tall flower hat, she wore a plaid outfit,(for some reason I want it to be red and white, but that's because I think I pictured it that color - It was before I turned 10). She raced with a train for some reason or another - I can't remember if she ran as the horse or as a woman, but she was fast. Please help me find this program. I'm loosing my mind searching for it. This movie I'm trying to find is about a chihuahua that is left alone in a home. This movie is kind of like Home Alone only with a chihuahua. See, this dog is left alone in a house and 2 robbers try to rob stuff in the house. A guy and a girl are geeks or just not noticed at their high school so they decide to pretend they are French exchange students and get makeovers. I don't know if they stay at the same school or go to a different one, but no one realizes who they are. They still live at the same houses as before. Setting: Ghetto New York, probably the Bronx Characters: (Dont know the names) A poor, lower class black family. There is a dad, a mom, an older brother, an older sister, and a smaller sister. The main character (or narrator) of the film is a young girl, about 10, 11, or 12 years of age. Story: The mom ends up dying of cancer or some awful disease, and the dad is left with raising all these kids. In the end, the dad sends the narrator/younger daughter to live with relatives (a great aunt or someone). The aunt turns out to be real religious and abuses the girl. Important scenes: There is one scene that sticks out the most: the girl needs money to buy chips at a small convenience store on a corner (after, or before, trying to shoplift), so she steals her brothers Knick's tickets and sells them. There is also a scene where the girl is dreaming about running from these two stoners that live on her block. They catch up to her, put a brown paper bag over her mouth causing her to inhale the drugs, and ends up with her floating above the city, high.

My sister is desperately trying to find out about a film she saw on TV in the UK. It is about 4 people who die in a road accident. At the exact time they die, a baby boy is born. They are given the task of looking after the boy while he grows up. They each have to fulfill a task before they can go to heaven. When each spirit fulfills their task, a big green bus comes to take them to heaven! The film is in colour and my sister thinks it was set around the 60's or 70's. I hope you can answer a question that is driving me crazy. I just had a phone call from my sister - from 3 states away - asking if I recalled a movie from our childhood. (It aired on TV probably in the mid to late 70's.) Well I do recall the movie, have no idea who starred in it (thought it was Robby/Bobby Benson - but I think he's to young to have played the part) and can't recall the name. Here are a few pieces we can remember: For some reason - don't recall what the boy did - but the mom winds up hiding her teen age son in her house in some hidden room. Under stairs? In the attic? Don't recall. After some time of this, something happens to the mom - dies? - and the house gets sold. A family moves in with at least one teenage girl - the hiding boy continues to stay in the house, now 'spying' on them and drilled peep holes. At one point, the girl notices the hole and starts to look toward it. He realizes she might see him and he moves back - making her sense the movement and she screams. I remember the opening scene to the film had to girls making out in a tent, and then hearing something, that something being the huge snake which then consumed them both. The next scene was the next day, and it had this guy around the age of 19, on his bmx/mountain bike, cycling down the street, but really going for it. ...I can only add that it IS ALL ABOUT HIM! (at the end). There really is a conspiracy and for some reason he is at the center. Each time the plot 'seemed' to resolve to an "oh, now i get it" something happens to open a new even deeper level. The 'father' theme was quite significant and and sinister.

I can't remember the name of this film I once saw. The beginning is a girl's parents are having this huge dinner party and she is sent to bed. The parents ad friends are all laughing and carrying on at first, but then they all wind up dying. The little girl wakes up and goes in to the dinning room to get something to eat. She starts wandering around the house and finds all her relatives are dead. Someone comes along a gets the girl out of the house. She drops her doll by accident and the person makes her leave it. The doll was burned in a fire. It was in a possibly mid-east setting. The film was in color. But I don't remember what else happened. I saw this movie probably back in the early 80s. I saw this movie on TV about American politics and the gullibility of people in the early (mid?) 80's and would appreciate finding it again. A man gets elected to the office of President of the United States by promising to consult the American people in all decisions. So every time the government wanted to do something they hold a pole for the people to make a choice. (I think it was compulsory to vote in the pole). After a while this continual taking of poles begins to really annoy the people so the president puts forth another pole stopping all poles for the future. His wife (mistress?) realises that if this option to discontinue all consultation is passed by the people that the president will in fact be a dictator for the rest of his life because the presidential election is itself a decision through a pole of the people. She persuades the president's bodyguard(?) to attempt to stop the pole and inform the people but the president thwarts them on the day. The mo! vie ends with the pole to stop poles passing with an overwhelming majority and the president happy and in power for the rest of his life.

The ghost girl shows up in this big white manion type house during a party that is going on in the house.... .the ghost is dressed in old white dress, dark brown hair in banana curls, wearing a white bonnet on her head....she is very pretty girl. .......she gets this little girl and boy to help her find the doll she is searching for. At first they can't find it. And yes she is trying to get it before the bad men do. The ghost is running out of time,she needs help from these kids before she disapears, and can't get the doll. They evetually do find the doll in the well..the doll's head is full of diamonds-----I think it shows the ghost girl falling into the well at one point too. That is what happened t her when she died. The ghost girl is very happy to finally beable to be reunited with the doll. The problem is that I can not remember the name of it either, and also believe it to be a Disney movie too. It was shown in the 70's when I was a little girl, and the 80's on regular tv. Then I never saw it again. I want this movie .....my fiance' also saw this movie many times, so we know it does exsist:) hahaha He also wants it as bad as I do.
I'm looking for the name of a film I saw sometime between 1975-1982. I believe it aired on CBC during their Sunday night movie program (it may have been a Disney film). Anyhow, all I remember is a little dark haired girl with a Parisienne french accent. I believe she was visiting America for the summer or something and kept having these dreams about a china doll in the well on the property. She finally goes to look down there (or falls in because some "bad" men make her fall in) and she finds a doll in the walls of the well. I believe it had diamonds inside the head and that is why the "bad" men were after it. Hope you can help me because this is driving me nuts. Saw this movie at a friends house in mid to late 80s as a kid. I thought it was called the leftover kids. It was about a group of orphans living in a house together. At one point a social worker comes to the house and one of the kids has dress up like a witch to meet the social worker. Also, one of the little girls pretends to be a doctor with her dolls, and at one point someone ends up taking the head of a dollin a paper sack, thinking it is lunch. ANy help on this would be great.

It's a cartoon and i'm sure it's about a kind of superhero. It's in colour and it was about 1995. The main character i seem to recall wore a white outfit and was an evil fighting good-guy. He had the power to conjure something up from the ocean and it wasn't the power rangers. Although it may have been similar. I just remember watching it but because it was so long ago not much of it has stuck in my mind. Please please please somebody help me. You would seriously make my day.

This film starred Mark Lester, the child actor. It was set in England about a boy who was mute. He lives near a moor and while out playing on the moor spots a wild pony. It is about the relationship between the pony and the boy. A crucial part of the film is when the boy and his friend go out riding on the moors and get caught and lost in thick fog. The pony falls into a bog and it is only when the boy actually speaks does the pony respond and the pony saves itself. the film was in colour set in the early 70s I think i saw it on television

Set somewhere in the USA a ten-year boy is abducted by an alien spaceship for tests and later returned to his home. The "trip" however has lasted 10 years but the boy has not aged during that time, he is still ten-years old. His parents are thus reunited with a child who has not aged since he went missing. During this time the spaceship which dropped him off has crashed into high-voltage electric cables and is immobilized. The military take it to their base for study together with the boy. The boy manages to enter the spaceship and the latter asks the boy to help it. The spaceship's starcharts have been destroyed by the high-voltage and it no longer knows the way back to its planet. The boy however has had these charts recorded in his brain (one of the many tests). They reach an agreement where he will give the charts in exchange for being returned to his own time.

I have been hopelessly searching for the name of a movie I saw about a year ago. I believe it was made within the last 5 years. Its about a old bigot that apparently raped a black women with some other guys 30 years ago,and then she had an illegitimate son that was half black and white who starts driving him crazy with phone calls non stop. You never see the guy,but he sounds just like Jeff Foxworthy,and keeps calling the man at work and at home wanting to go do what fathers usually doİwith their son normallyİİ growing up like, fishing,hunting,bolwing etc..of course the iligitimate son keeps calling acting like he wants to go do these father and son things,not really wanting to do these things. He just wants revenge for what he did to his mother,and to exploit the irony of a racist who raped a black women and now has a half bred son that knows the guy is a racist and is cramming it down his throat now that he knows the secret of who hsi father really is. Basic revenge movie.İİFinally it drives the guy mad and to drinking. The guy on the phone sounds like Jeff Foxworthy and usually calls and says something like "Hello daddy!, how about we go fishing daddy" etc.. The man cusses him out and hangs up, but the phone keeps ringing every 5 minutes 24x7. The end of the movie, the man is dancing around on the highway crazy and drunk as if the son finally drove him nuts with all his phone calls. The racist guy (actor) looks sort of like Brian Cox or Albert Finny,but I have searched their credist and have not found out who the older actor is. Perhaps this one will break us both!

This movie was made in the 80s or early 90s, I saw it on Encore tv mystery friday. It involves a couple from the suburbs who drive into the city (unnamed, but it looks like Chicago) for the day. The husband has an interview for a job and the wife plans to spend the day shopping and meet him later. The husband misses his appointment by going to the wrong restaurant in a seedy part of town, but he has to wait there for his wife. Every place in that part of town closes up at 6:00, so he is kicked out of the restaurant and finds his car has been locked up in the closed parking lot. After his wife is dropped off at the restaurant, they find they cannot get a cab to come. There's no one else around and they wander through the darkened streets looking for some way to get home. They simply cannot find their way out of the neighborhood and they never encounter anyone else. Eventually, they encounter a gang of ruffians whom they then try to avoid while trying to find their way back to a populated area."

I saw this movie on HBO. It was about this girl ( I think in her late teens) who gets a ring from her grandmother. She goes to sleep with it on and when she wakes up she realizes she got sent back in time. I cant remember much but somehow she ends up in a castle and was acting as a servant. She falls for one of the men in the house and he falls for her too. In the end she goes back to her time. This was in England or Ireland I think. I saw it a couple of years ago and it was in color. I saw this movie around the mid 90's. It was about this family, mom, 2 daughters, and father, but mainly one of the daughters and father. Well the daughter had a dance recital and she wanted her father to be there, and he ended up coming late but she thought that he had not come at all so she had gotten angry and would not speak to him. On the way back home the daughter is driving with her mother and sister in the car while the father is behind them in his car. A truck cant use his breaks so the father sees it and starts honking at the mothers car warning them. The daughter who was in the recital takes off her seatbelt to see what her dad is trying to say to them. When the mother realizes it she swirves off the road but the daughter during the recital ends up going through the windshield and dying later in the hospital. Later on the father visits some house where the ghost's of young children go when they die. The father sees his daughter and she tells him to move on. The last scene is after she talks to her father and she begins dancing and her sister and mother see her as well.

I saw this film as a youngster on BBC1 (I think) in the mid-80??s and the lead actor possibly played a duel-role as an identical twin (one bad, one good). The bad one commits a crime and heads into hiding on an island/ forest/ jungle where he gradually begins to fall apart. His ??good?? brother goes in search of him but this gives the 'bad' brother help because he then murders and returns to the mainland in the guise of the ??good?? brother. The film ends with a couple of cops nudging each other knowingly as the ??bad?? brother returns to the mainland to greet the ??good?? brothers wife and kid, casting suspicion that he and the wife had this scenario in mind all along.

I remember having seen a film 6-10 years ago that involves a couple who are traveling in Europe (Italy, I think) and they meet another couple who draw them into a surreal, sadistic, and ultimately tragic relationship. I think that at the end of the film the male half of the traveling couple dies or is killed. The time period depicted is late twentieth century. I think that the actors' names were not known to me at the time. My wife and I rented it from a video store. We were reminded of it tonight, when we watched Roman Polaski's Bitter Moon (which is well worth seeing).

The film (as I remember) revolves around the very last date--the last night--that an older married couple gets to spend together. The husband is being sent away by the children for health reasons...or something like that. I am looking for any information about an older movie 60's-70's I saw on the WB network in the late 70's or early 80's. It is a hansel and gretel type story about a girl and boy who somehow arrive at this ladies home, She takes them in and cares for them. Soon it is obvious she want's to keep the girl, but is not very nice to the boy. At the end the girl and boy discover her dead daughter's skeleton in the bedroom. Right, it is black and white. It has a girl who looks like aurdrey hepburn in it, but I looked at all her films and cant find it. Two people meet on the empire state builing (hepburn lookalike and slightly older man). They go back to his place, she asks inapropriate questions all the time. The mans ex lives upstairs and keeps trying to see him. His ex's dad comes round to see him, and finds audrey. Bit of chat, she cooks them dinner. He proposes to her, and offers her an unconditional $400. And so it goes on. The two who met at the beginning meet again on the empire state builing, having fallen in love ofcourse, and live happily ever after.

A wonderful French movie made many years ago. A young woman is between jobs, finds employment in a bakery briefly. A girlfriend of hers introduces her to an older gentleman, with whom the girlfriend once had a relationship. She ends up taking a job as a secretary to the man in his home, where he has an office and is a writer or is writing his memoir. He is separated from his wife and a relationship between the secretary and he "develops" but is not acted upon in the flesh. Ultimately, after years of separation, the wife returns. After he died he came back as a dog and found his family. He kept coming around and ended up living with them. He was trying to let his son know it was him. It is a personal documentary of the model's alcoholic and drugged-out lifestyle she had lived, which she confided in a Huston drifter (Wesley Hayes) during the period she lived with her mother. It came-out in 1972 and was re-released in Nov. of 2002. She had serious mental issues, addictions and spent time in a variety of mental health institutions. The character in the movie is named "Susan," however the film is based on the personal and professional life of Edie Sedgewick. The film took 5 long years to complete; with the start of production in 1967, and according to the film producers it was billed as "writing it's self!" The timeline takes place in the 1970's & according to the film information, they followed Sedgewick around for an entire 5 years, seeing her through the most personal & trying times of her life. It's a classic and a must see. Directed by David Wiesman & John Palmer, II. **Though the movie is in color, her "Flashbacks" are filmed in black & white for a "past erie regretful" effect. I saw this movie on one of those channels like HBO,etc. a few years ago. I believe it was filmed in the 70's. Also the style of movie was similar to A Clockwork Orange. It was a story of a teenage girl whom was a former model and now an out of conrol drinker. She lived in a large tent in back of her mothers house. Her mother was quite odd, very quirky. Her mother had a young and not-so-bright country boy babysit her. I can't remeber much more but I do remeber she was telling this boy past-time stories of going to get injections of some drug with her model friend from their doctor. I saw this film about 4 or 5 years ago now, it was a pshycological thriller, that kept you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. It was about an investigation into a serial killer and the police enlisted the help of a clairvoyant/medium. Whenever she visited one of his crime scenes she would get visions of his surroundings, it turned out that she was actually seeing through the killers eyes (I'm not sure what your call this). As the film goes on it turns out that he has the same gift and knows her whereabouts at all times, so she has no escape. I can remember one part where she tries to leave the town, as she's sat on the plane looking out at her best friend waving her off, she gets a vision through the killers eyes and he's creeping up behind her best friend, so she can't leave through fear of her friend being his next victim. It then becomes a tense cat and mouse game, but I can't remember how it ends.

The movie I am looking for , it came on a horror matinee on tv on saturday or sunday afternoon. It was about a lady that lived in a house and these tiny creatures would come out when it became dark or turned into nighttime. they terrorized her in many ways and at the end i believe they made a trap out of a string in the hallway and tripped her causing her to fall in the basement. It was very scary. i was pretty young at the time so i am guessing it was sometime in the 70's when it was on.

About six years ago I watched a British movie about a young woman who goes to visit eccentric relatives living on a small disorderly farm. She not only brings order out of the chaos, but solves various personal problems of her individual relations also. The movie ends with her flying off with her true love (or at least that's how I remember the ending).

I remember watching a movie on TV about 20 years ago. It began with 2 girls walking home at night during a storm, they are apparently attacked and one is stabbed to death, while the other escapes with some minor injuries. A detective investigating finds that the dead girl was pregnant and her boyfriend becomes a prime suspect.
As it turns out, the surviving girl actually was in love with the guy, and she was the murderer. She cut herself with a knife that night. I believe the guys name was andrew and the dead girl's name was Mariel, in the movie. I saw the movie in Montreal, so it's possible the movie might be Canadian, but who knows?

I saw a movie about 26 years ago about a couple of characters, I thought Tim Conway and Don Knotts who go to an old house as possibly detectives. I remember one scene they are eating at the dining room table and an older lady starts stuffing I believe carrots into her nose. It seemed like a very funny film at the time. I have tried to find the name of this film but have been unable to do so. I thought it could of possibly been private eyes but when I watched it I was dissappointed to find out it wasn't. I am wondering if possibly I have mixed up the actors. If you could help me I would greatly appreciate it.

I really liked this movie. It was black and white. It was about an American reporter who went to London to cover the war. His wife was back in America. He met a brother and sister in an orphanage. His wife wanted a child but she couldn't have any children. He decided to bring the brother and sister back to America. He could only bring one back because he was only allowed so much weight. One of the other passengers on the plane finally gave up some of their bags. It was about being scared when the lights went out in London. Thanks so much.

Hi I have ben trying to think of this film for years It was an old black white American I think possibly 1940/50 About a mail bag that went missing and the stories that were connected to the post in it. It was eventually found years later and delivered which caused problems as obviously circumstances had altered from the time the letters were written. Any ideas anyone?

I hope you can help me. i have been trying to find out the name of a movie that I saw in the 80's on cable about a young man ( 20's) who is hurt ( i missed this part ) either by war or something in England/ Ireland and he is taken in by a farmer and his family. Well the young man and the farmers daughter fall in love and when he is finally better and tells her that he has to go back to the city and break it off with the girlfriend (whose father just happens to be a rich banker ) and that his family is going to be very upset with him but that is ok with him because he loves the farm girl. Well, he never comes back and so she travels into the town he told her about and she goes to the bank and right before she gets there she sees him with this woman and so she asks someone who they are and she says Mr. & Mrs. .... well, she leaves brokenhearted and goes back home. A few years later the man finally gets up the nerve to break it off with his wife and he goes back to the farm to find the girl and set things right. When he gets there he asks someone if they still live there and they say yes but not the daughter because she died a few years ago of a broken heart. about that time they see a boy come out of the house and then the man says but she managed to have a son before she died. --- I have always wanted to see this show again and I have never been able to find out the name. If you can help I would appreciate it.
