Can anyone HELP with this sci-fi title that was on Tv(UK)mid 60s early 70s,a film or tv program.A small boy is playing with a toy plane, which by accident lands in a busy road the boy goes to run on to the road as a car is coming but is stopped by a man who is then hit by the car.It seems as if the man is seriously injured or even killed. Later in the film the man reappears and meets again with the boy who is very happy to see him,the man picks the boy up and the boy finds that inside the mans overcoat is a leaver which the boy is told not to touch. It appears the leaver has the ability to turn the man off, some sort of power leaver. It seems the man has been able to come back as he is now, as some sort of cyborg although outwardly he seems to look the same as before(cheap way of making a sci fi cyborg i guess).I also think the boy and man in the film my be related father/son or uncle/nephew etc.

I saw a movie in the late eighties or early 90's. There were a bunch of teenage kids - both boys and a girl/s. And there was this Rambo-like guy. Did not look like Rambo. But in terms of character, he was somewhat like that. Or an ex-army/seal some type of expert.I cannot remember the connection between him and them. Initially, they rebel against him. But he is just on top of his game. Eventually they warm up to him. There is a scene of an AIRBOAT flying over everglades that I remember. Most of it is shot in a jungle/everglades/some type of forest/remote place. It ends with them all going back to the city. Ending mins of the movie : They find an apartment/home of their own which is in a broken down condition. They all work towards fixing it up and begin a new chapter in their lives.I "think" it had the song "Take these broken wings" by Mister mister. The movie most likely has 2 words in its name. I first checked Broken wings but could not find anything. I also think one of these words starts with a B. Band/Broken/. ?

Color, probably mid 90's. It's about some sort of flying "scarecrow" guy that kidnaps a mans kid by pretending to be a scarecrow. He eats the kids I think. Anyhow, it shows him flying around kidnapping and killing until he runs into this man again and they "fight it out." The man "wins" and hangs the scarecrow on the inside wall of his barn and sits there with a shotgun making sure the guy doesn't "wake up" from death apparently. Not a terrific movie, but something interesting in it I'd like to view again.

Right, so I've only seen the commercials to this movie several years ago (probably around 2006). It opens with a clip of this kid running away through his backyard or something and there's a voiceover saying that "In 196(?) X many children went missing from this house" or something like that. Then, this new family moves into the house and they start noticing weird stuff around the house and eventually it appears as though they lose power and are running around with flashlights. Anyway, I think that the family's young son (10 years old?) is supposed to "complete the cycle (circle?)" for whatever evil things are in the house. I believe there's a scene in which the eldest daughter (17 years old?) finds a family member somewhere in the house and tells them something and then the family member starts to transform into some weird looking creature (I don't even know how to describe it).

The movie is set in America and I would very much assume made in America. It is a color movie, but I seem to remember it being slightly grainy. I know I saw it in the mid nineties but I'm very sure it was made prior to then. There is a group of people (family? friends?) that end up in some sort of a fun house/hotel and a creepy old (man?) is at the front desk and after some questioning he drops the group into a (ball?) pit. I seem to remember the movie having a carnival feel to it. I know at one point nearer to the end of the film a girl is given to these fat men/monsters to "do with as they please" and they have a weird guillotine type thing where they are smashing (watermelons?) while the girl screams for help (in a cage?).

I'm looking for film, possibly in the 80's, that involved a scientist experimenting with aquatic life and possibly splicing them with humans, It was sort of "Island of Dr. Moreau" meets H.P. Lovecraft. The most rememberable scene foe me was that of a british woman who seems to be the scientist's most successful experiment and henchwoman, she needs an injection of some kind or she reverts into to a humanoid fish, she becomes a reluctant hero to the band of people trying to stop the scientist and meets her end by exposure as she became the fish thing, There is also a trek by the group of people who enter a system of caves where they come upon large aquatic insect-like creatures, and other monsters - the insect-like creatures, I remember looked like large dragonflies that poked there enormous heads out of a holes that covered a vast cave wall, like a hive
Result: Without Warning (1980) aka It Came Without Warning. starring Jack Palance, Martin Landau, Neville Brand, Sue Ane Langdon, David Caruso, Tarah Nutter, Larry Storch, Kevin Peter Hall as the alien hunter (He later played the Predator twice and Harry the Bigfoot in "Harry and the Hendersons" (movie and several episodes of the series); before all of them, he was the mutant bear in "Prophecy", the eco-horror thriller. Not black & white, and not from the sixties, but worth a look. Suggestions have been made that the makers of Predator borrowed a lot from this film. Thanx MystMoonstruck, RomanyX. Aug 5, 2010
I'm trying to find out the name of a B/W sci-fi/horror movie I saw on TV as a kid back in the early/mid 60's. The story line was very much the same as the recent "Predator" movies, but was set in a typical small mid-western town. An alien was hunting down & killing the townspeople & hanging the bodies in a barn as trophies. Seems like the last few survivors figured out what was going on & destroyed the alien (of course). I don't know who starred in it or anything like that. I think it may have been made in the mid to late 50s.

Sci-Fi film. The only thing I recall about this movie is the situation/condition of the 3 races. It was a post-apocolyptic earth. ie. centuries/millenia into the future. One race was a race of humans basically the same as us but they had a futuristic/scientific society that basically lived in underground cities and had a network of underground railways/monorails.A second race scoured the surface of the earth in old present day-type cars. they had mutated a little to resemble the kingons of star trek fame - albeit loosely. a 3rd race was a race of present day human looking people where women dominated and controlled the society. it was basically an agrarian society with limited technology where the men were drugged to remain subservient to the women who ruled. I think there was a man from the futuristic society who had to make contact with one of the men in the agrarian society.

Late 60s or early 70s movie was set on a farm or farmhouse, at night and at dusk the family was seeing weird lights out on the bushes then all I can recall is some small space ships or ufo types attacking them or slowly flying in the house. I saw this movie that has been on my mind it seems like a lifetime now when I was 5 or 6 in Germany, and I have no idea what it is, in adulthood here in Cali. the movie is about a family that moves into a house(maybe a mansion) and strange things start to happen. Key points include a man who wears dark glasses and dressed in black(or a dark suit) standing outside of the house being seen by the family from time to time. He may have even been a chaffeur or standing next to car at times when they saw him. At the end, the house is crumbling (shaking, falling apart) and the husband I believe has gotten the kid(s) out of the house but his wife is still in the house. He goes to get her and she is in a room in a chair but he cant see her face, she may have been facing a window.he slowly approaches & the chair turns or we see her and her face has changed into something wicked.

I saw this movie when I was very young at my grandmother's house. Late 80's-Early 90's & Color. Only one scene is burned in my memory. Woman being attacked by some creature/ demon/ monster in small bathroom stall. I faintly recall it/he is covered completely in red goo (possibly blood). However, I strongly remember the camara focuses on the floor & their feet: there's a lot of blood or red goo on the floor and the woman (wearing red nail polish on her toes) is slipping/ sliding all over it.

I live in Brazil and saw many years ago on the TV this American movie with aliens living in the desert in a kind of bubble of a different time dimension and being watched from "outside" by the US army or CIA, or perhaps both. The aliens in the bubble were Amish-like farmers, seemingly living an idyllic and peaceful existence. The movie ends with one of the outside observers crossing over into the bubble to stay with the farmers' daughter with whom he had fallen in love. Soon later he is killed by being devoured by the aliens and the bubble departs into the space. I don't recall which actor played the main character, it was someone like Harrison Ford, but I think it's not him as I cannot find any references to it in the Internet.

I saw a movie on tv sometime between 1975-1981, I'm guessing. I remember a woman with two daughters, one teenage and one pre-teen, and they had plants with macrame holders in their living room. I think the woman was going through a divorce, and she began jogging.and I think she really became good at it or at least persistent. The movie was about her---but I identified with the teenage girls. I can see her jogging even in the rain, but that's all I remember. At first I thought that Bonnie Franklin played the mother, but I can't find anyting with B. Franklin that resemebles this movie.

I believe they were dating? I remember the movie being in a racial time period also. The movie was in color.

The younger brother also gets sick and the teacher and the older brother are like the only two not infected left. The main plot revolves about a former gang leader returning after being away for a few years. He finds his younger brother has grown up and is on the verge of joining the gang soon. The older brother wants him to change his life and move away from the gang. It's like a late 80's or early 90's version 'American History X'. I remember one line when the older brother returns and see his younger brother is involved with the game 'I'm getting jumped in next week'.

I seen this movie (there is a small chance that it is a tv movie or tv series, but I doubt that) a long time ago (end 80s, begin 90s), been searching on and off for years for the title. What I distinctly remember is the setting of the movie, which was in a tidal or mangrove forest with very white or silvery sands. The plot parts I remember are a group of men being followed by some others (armed if I recall correctly), through the above forest.Something else which springs to mind is that in the end they are looking for a highway through mountainous terrain, but this part might not at all be related to this movie (I might mix up two different movies here).I did always think the movie was with Chuck Norris or someone looking a lot like him, but also here my memory fails (I checked all Chuck Norris' movies, it is not amongst them I think)
(could this be Southern Comfort - me)

I think I saw this film between 1991 and 1994. I remember there was a boy who was a nerd and got picked on a lot. He lived with a woman who wasn't his mother, I think it was either his aunt or his grandmother. She had a bird that annoyed and taunted him too. I don't know if he fell asleep or if he started doing some black magic but somehow he got possessed. He started sporting a more "cool" demeanor and wore all black and black sunglasses. He kills the bird and his guardian is so distraught and he kills her too. At one point he goes to his high school where some of his main tormentors are inside playing strip poker. There are two guys on the roof standing watch. The boy confronts them and kills them both. He goes inside the school and throws there hearts on the table where the kids are playing poker and the only girl that in the room is down to her underwear. I think in the end he ends up going to hell.

I am looking for a movie i saw in the 90's however I believe it was made in the mid to late 80's. I remember its about a group of teens who get lost or something on a camping trip, and they find a house in the woods where they end up staying for the time being. A strange family lives there, and if I remember right the kids in the family are actually older actors,(I believe a son and a daughter) which made it really creepy. One part one of the "kids" is pushing one of the lost campers on their swing of their swing-set, and they make him fly off the cliff by their house. I also remember one of the camper girls finding a dead skeleton baby in the basement in a crib, which belongs to the creepy "younger" daughter. If I remember correctly I believe all the campers are killed off besides maybe the one girl?

I believe this movie came out in the 80s or early 90s and I believe it was foreign, not sure. I'll try to explain the movie the best way I can. All I could remember was the movie started out with two english women I believe who were traveling on a carriage on a journey somewhere, but they were guarded by horsemen along the way. I'm not sure if one of them was an heir or princess, but one of the women were of some importance. I remembered that her aid whispered something to the other woman how much she liked one of the guards, so they stopped the carriage so that she can sleep with him on an open field. As they continued on with the journey, they were invaded by these men who killed almost everyone, but the man in charge got interest in the heir or princess and kidnapped her. He used, raped and kept her for himself. At the end, her lover came looking for her who. Almost the near end of the movie, her kidnapper planned a banquet. The woman's lover and her plotted to poison or kill him along with his guest by putting a dead animal in the barrel of their drink. I believe they all drank it and died.

I don't have much to tell you. It is a British movie, which I saw on television a four or five years ago. It was in color, either from the late 50's or 60's. All I can remember is that a buxom woman is doing a hideous dance, meant to be sexy, in a bar. Everyone in the bar is taken with her. She leaves, goes home, goes to bed, and then this killer appears, staring at her from above the bed. He decapitates her. Later, he is caught and is found to be under the spell of, or drugged and controlled by, a scientist or college professor.

I am looking for a made for TV movie that came out, I think, in the 90's. It is about a female writer who moves, I think, to Louisiana to write. She sends her publisher several manuscripts that she is working on and with each one she also sends him a letter telling him about how things are going where she is. The publisher later comes to see here and tells her that he didn't like any of the manuscripts she sent but that he could hardly wait to get her letters because they were great. She ends up writing about her life where she is and about the people she meets. She meets a man there who, as I remember, is wearing a white suit and a white hat. He falls in love with her and asks her to marry him but she says no. She later decides that she should have said yes. He comes by to see if she needs anything and he starts to ask her "Will you . . ." she cuts him off and says yes. He looks at her stunned because he wasn't asking her to marry him, but since she said yes he takes a chance and finishes the question with ". . . marry me?" She smiles at him and says yes again. I seem to also remember something about an orange grove. The actress has long curly hair like Andie McDowell's hair but is not Andie McDowell. She keeps her hair pulled back for most of the show as I remember.

The movie I'm looking for is about a family of four who lost their mother a long time ago, so there's only the father who I believe is a lawyer or works at a desk job, two sons and a daughter named Claudia. Claudia is in high school I believe and she dressed like a slut the one day and got arrested for it, so her dad had to go bail her out. The father decided they need to get away or something so he takes them on I believe a boat (but it could be a plane), for a vacation but they get sucked into the Bermuda Triangle and wind up either in another dimension. They try to make the best of the situation and while Claudia is wandering around exploring she comes across a unicorn. She decides to ride a unicorn but while she is the evil prince of the land (or so I'm assuming he's a prince), kidnaps her and is convinced she is some sort of goddess. He intends to marry her but his advisors want to prove she's a goddess first by burning her or something. Her family comes and saved her and they try to get away by going through a portal that opens every once in a while. The portal is a circle of stones I think and the father is fighting the prince as tey try to escape and the prince is killed by the energy generated by the stones as they are transporting the family home.
Result: The Big Cube (1969) starring Lana Turner, George Chakiris, Richard Egan, Daniel (Dan) O'Herlihy, Karin Mossberg, Pamela Rodgers. The "big cube" refers to LSD. I admit: This is a guess! Thanx MystMoonstruck. May 12, 2010
Looking for a film I saw on television in the late 70's/early 80's I believe. This will sound strange, but I think the main character was Lucille Ball - could be wrong. For whatever reason, she was being held down in a basement and periodically whoever was holding her would turn on a projector of some sort and force her to watch these psychedelic type movies/films. I can't remember why or what they were trying to do but I haven't been able to find it or anything about it.

This is a long shot but I remember watching a horror film on TV probably around the mid to late 80's / early 90's. I believe the premise to it was some kind of possession or an attempt toward the end. I think the main location was a farm house. There was a scene where a kid is in an outhouse that is over grown with weeds and finds lots of freakish things inside rows of jars. Towards the end a woman is trying to escape from something inside the house and she locks herself inside what I think was a nursery - she might have been pregnant. I can remember it had a blue floor with a rose compass on it. P.S. I don't think it's Crowhaven Farm.

Alright this was a crazy movie or either I am crazy.I believe it was ment as a horror/comedic-horror which I saw sometimes in the 1990's. I saw it on TV and from what I can remember it could have been an 80's film. It was in color but I can't remember any actors or directors etc. Few things I can remember, Somehow these people were stuck/taken prisoner in a guys house. The guy was old and nasty looking and I remember a scene where they were at the dinner table. At the dinner table I think the food came around on a toy train. The "prisoners" were at the table with the man and I think there might have been trap doors or something the old man could activate. I remember something looking like uncooked sausage/kielbasa (possibly ment to be intestines) that the old man ate. Other than that the only other thing I can really remember is there was something about like a trap door led to them taking a ride on a rollercoaster type thing (kind of like Casper) that lead to a metal mouth/teeth that chomped up the people. Another thing is the place kind of looked like a junkyard I believe where the "mouth" was located.

Saw this movie in South Texas at a drive in early to mid 70's. It played before the main movie, Night of the living dead. I am looking for a film from the early 70's, probably made in the 60's or 70's, but not sure. I saw it on T.V. in the U.S. It is about a girl who is sent to an all girl bording school. It is the counsoler or a nurse who befriends her or so she thinks. The woman is giving her shots I believe that turn her into a werewolf or similar creature. She is unaware at first what the shots are doing to her. I can't remember why she is getting these shots. She eventually finds out what is being done to her. I really cant remember anything else. I know that the movie is not She-Wolf or She-creature or Werewolf in a girls dormitory, I have already looked into them.

The latter film is on YouTube, but I'm not sure anyone has posted "DON" (not to be confused with the British horror classic). This movie was in the 70's. The mother lives by the ocean and is mourning the death of her son. Her husband is apparently on a trip somewhere and she is home alone. she decides to bring her dead son back and draws a pentagram and she starts to hear noises. I think he comes home and knocks on the door and is wet. The he runs and hides and askes her to play hide and seek.It seems that her son is playing a very scary hide and seek with her and she is being tortured by him laughing and calling her name. In the end of the movie, she is pushed down the stairs and laying at the bottom hurt and unable to move. Looking up the stairs from the floor, He says that her son did not want to come back and so he sent him instead, and out of the darkness a demon appears.

I'm looking for and old black and white movie. It is about a couple that doesn't know their dead. The movie starts out with a couple making love on their boat while their young son is left unsupervised on the dock. When the couple realize they haven't heard from him in a while they go outside to search for him, but unfortunately he has already drowned. The next scene shows the couple in a car and shortly thereafter they crash into a tree. They need to find shelter for the night so they enter an abandoned home. Soon they start seeing ghosts, one in particular that is a boy celebrating his birthday. When the boy sees the couple he becomes scared and runs back into the kitchen. After a while, the couple come to find out that it is not the boy and others that are haunting this house, but it is actually them. They had died when they had that car accident and never realized it! It is surprisingly a great horror movie that never received any attention that I know of.

I don't know what the movie was about because when I was young, the preview of the movie creeped me out enough not to watch it. But it was in the late 70's horror movie and the preview showed the back of a woman as she was combing her hair, as she was singing a verse, " I wish I had a flower" over and over again. She slowly turned a round and her face was a skull and then she screamed.

They get into an argument and she thinks she kills him. But low and behold he is alive but with amnesia regarding what happened on that night. If memory serves me correct the husband meets him (after the affair) and brings him home to dinner. It was about some research lab at the north pole or something that no one had heard from for a while. Because of the weather, they had to wait to send people to it. Once they got there, it seems like there was no one there except one guy they found frozen to death in the radio room. The door was locked from the outside, and the windows were open. I think there was a bunch of monkeys there. They were still alive. Maybe they had automatic feeders or something.

The date ranges between late 80s (around 87-89) to early 90s (90-93) here are the only scenes I can remember. There's a father and a son living together I think it was their mother/wife who was was killed in a fire. The son is in his teenage years. The only other scenes I can remember is there is a wolf involved (I don't believe it is a werewolf) and the wolf wrecks havoc in the town. The one scene I recall is a mother and a daughter go to the animal shelter because they were thinking about buying a kitten and we see these pets in the cages alive and well. Then we see the wolf sneak in. When the mother and daughter return to see the pets again, they are shocked and disgusted when they see the cages filled with blood and dead pets that were killed by the wolf. One last scene I can remember is the son is in a fight with another teenage boy and the teenage boy tries to kill him with hockey skates. I don't think it made it to the theaters but I watched it on VHS.

A black and white film based on a short story about a wounded soldier in, I think, the First World War who has lost all his limbs and had half his face missing. The setting is a hospital. The film deals with the relationship that develops between the wounded man and his nurse. He was unable to communicate except by tapping his head against his pillow. I first read the story approximately fifty plus years ago i.e. mid to late 1950's and saw the film on late night tv (UK) some years later. The wounded man was presented with an award for bravery(?) by each of the allied participants in WW1 since no-one could identify him.I hope this is not a figment of my imagination cos it's doin me 'ead in.

In the 70s, I was at a friend's one day; her mom loved horror films and was watching one it was in black and white and most likely a B-movie. My friend and I didn't pay much attention to it until the end when her mom started cheering the hero. Here's what I remember. Zombies or living dead people causing havoc, a man emerging from his car, one of the dead throws a knife at him which hits him in the back. But, he carries on to put a stop to these creatures! I think he grabs a cross from the cemetery and when he holds it before the dead for them to see, they burn up.

Right, so I saw this movie about 12 years ago (98 or so) (and it was really old then). All I can remember is the final scene of the film in which a man is trapped on one side of a gate in some kind of underground tunnel complex (sewers?). On the other side of the gate there's another man who reaches this vase or pot of something that stopped them from aging (I would assume that both men were trying to get the vase). The man who gets to the vase looks over at the guy who's on the other side of the gate and then takes the vase and leaves. The man on the other side falls to the ground and rapidly ages to death.I remember conversing about the film with my mother (she doesn't remember this at all) and we said something about the man who aged to death building the pyramids. Don't quote me on that though.

Can you help identify a colour French or possibly Italian film from the late 1970s or early 80s, which was a satire on manners and etiquette? Each scene of the film featured a reversal of social norms. The scene that most vividly sticks in my mind is where the central characters are sitting around a dining table on toilets instead of dining chairs. At one point, a female character asks to be excused and goes into the bathroom, where she pulls down a foldable table and receives a meal through a serving hatch. As an 10 year old would-be revolutionary, the film made a strong and lasting impression. I only wish I could remember its name.

I'm looking for a movie that I saw a few years ago on what I think was Lifetime. It was in color. Modern day time period. I'm not for sure what year the movie was. It appeared to be something from the 90's. I'm thinking early 90's. (So sorry I don't have an exact date!) I don't remember any of the actors or actresses. Basically the movie was about this woman with two children. She worked two jobs and one of them was as a waitress.(I think) She meets and marries this Australian man who also has two children. He is in America trying to get a loan I think for his failing ranch in Australia. He flew back to Australia to tell his children and make arrangements for her. But when she gets to Australia though, she finds that he died in a plane crash on his way back. She has a tough time with his children and her children at first but then starts trying to get the ranch back in working order. Meanwhile she meets this man there that was a rival of her late Australian husband. I think the fall in love and end up together. I keep being reminded of what I really think was an episode of a TV show, although it MAY have been a made-for-tv movie. It was about this kid that was like 8 years old or so who just started spending time with his real Dad. And the kid was making his dad a bunch of money by somehow cheating on the horse races. Because by looking at old race results he could like KNOW who was gonna win. But his dad didn't know that was how the kid was figuring it out, he thought the kid just kept getting lucky. It was probably from the late 1990's like around 1998 or so. I think it might have been some kind of show like Law and Order but I don't know

Trying to find this for someone, possibly 70s to 80s horror/sci-fi. The film began with a voiceover explaining how mankind had failed god and destroyed? itself through (nuclear?) war.The voiceover is spoken over film of people bathing in a large mountain stream. It is explained mankind had been given a second chance, but the price being that we were returned to the dark ages. While there were remnants of more modern humanity around (i think clothing, toys etc) people were dressed in animal skins and the setting was in a european(or american) coniferous forest. Some sort of quest is instigated by member(s) of this tribe. The idea being to reach some sort of sanctuary, a city or similar i imagine, that i think exists on the other side of the mountains. All i can recall of the rest is that there are very young children (a blonde girl and boy who might have been 5 or 6) who become important .The girl carries a modern doll with a voice mechanism (It says "mama" and perhaps other phrases)The ending is the clincher for anyone who may have seen this since it is particularly memorable. The girl and boy are separated from the rest of the group on this quest. They are going through a tunnel or cave and are beset by (I think) either wolves or some sort of vampire bat. In the last few very graphic scenes one of the children is bitten and we see a close shot of their bloody hand. This is where it ends, we assume they are killed offscreen. The girl has dropped her doll (which is significant as she would not be separated from it before) There is then a close up of the doll on the floor of the cave repeating "mama mama mama" over and over while the credits begin to roll and creepy music starts up.

I am trying to remember the title of this film:This film was aired on british terrestrial tv (channel 5 or 4?) in the mid-late 90s (1995-1999). It is a colour film. The main character was a young girl who moved with her family to a large house. Spooky stuff started happening, perhaps involving mirrors, I am not sure. A man who used to live there (the gardener?) had a daughter who went missing and you find out at the end that she is trapped in some sort of parallel universe. The young girl has a chance to save his daughter but she must do this before an eclipse or the equinox or something. There may have been a pentagram or some sort of triangle involved. In the end the the missing daughter is saved.

The basic plot of this story I'm looking for is a guy that steps on some kind of plate thing who then travels to a different dimension to find that it is a type of utopia where there is no crime or depression. The reason is that people have had some type of brain surgery to prevent them from feeling depression. He finds this girl that he liked in his reality and in the alternate reality they were married and he died. He tries to find his way back home leaving her in her reality. When he decides to leave she is left outside on the bench sipping coffee or hot chocolate or something.

Its a 1930s or 1940s movie about a man who gets stranded after falling off his boat ( I think he was on the amazon river, maybe). He ended up on a small island with one house. He goes there and meets this nice guy who hunts. Then when he least expects it he figure out that the man hunts humans now because animals arent smart enough for him to hunt. I remember in the movie that hes in this big forest type place and he has to try to get away. If hes still alive by sunrise I think he gets to live. The man whos hunting him has dogs that track him. I remember in one scene the main guy tricks a dog into falling off a cliff. In the movie I remember that a girl is in it, and the book didnt have a girl. This might be a tough one to find but its all I can remember and I dont know if you look for movies that old. Oh and it wasnt in color and I saw 3 years ago, in my freshmen class.

I saw this film at a local theater in Singapore in 1970 at the age of 10, so details and memories are those of a child. I'm certain the film was in black and white and seemed to be set in the 1800's or early 1900's. The plot involved the murder of a young, beautiful blonde woman who turned into an evil doll. The doll reminded me of Phyllis Diller because of the extremely dark eye-liner, thick, black eyelashes, and the full head of white curly hair. The doll is somehow given to a little girl living in a large, beautiful home (perhaps the same house in which the young woman was murdered) and proceeds to become very attached to her owner, "killing" the child's other dolls. I recall a particularly frightening scene where the young girl's dolls were lined-up along the mantle of a large fireplace in the child's bedroom. As the girl slept, the camera focused in on the changes in the killer doll's facial features as she contemplated what she would do next. I believe the doll stabbed another doll "to death", and I'm fairly certain that by the end of the film, the Phyllis Diller-looking doll escalated to murdering human beings that attempted to get rid of her and/or come between her and the child in any way. Although I saw this film overseas, I remember the characters being English-speaking and certainly not of Asian descent; British, I think, since Singapore was heavily influenced by the English at that time.

Well I saw this movie on TV, probably around the late 90s early 00s. It looked pretty older than that, but I have no idea. Anyways, I'll just pick out some random parts I remember. In one scene, a man (who i think works on a tv or film set) gets into an elevator with a grim reaper. Maybe the grim reaper came afterward. I don't know. Anyways, he's talking to the reaper, who he thinks is an actor. He opens the reaper's robes and a bunch of little goblins or demons or something are visible, so he closes them. All I remember of this particular scene is that he stops on a floor where rich people are dining and little children are watching them through windows. The man then talks to one of the rich women. And that's it for that scene.Next scene involves a man (same? different? not sure) being chased through an office by another man with a gun.Another scene involves a person (security guard?) at a desk in front of a series of TV screens behind him, which I believe are the different videos of different areas of the TV/movie set. His back is to the screen, and then gradually the images combine to form a giant grim reaper face. You then see a hand reach out to grab him, but someone else walks in and he is safe.

I am looking for a two part Scifi movie that I saw mid to late 90s. The first movie was about this mans life an author who decides to freeze his head until a cure for his disease is found. The second installment which I am more interested in fast forwards to the future. Where people who froze their heads to be given new life are being harvested for their memories which are then in turn being used like television programing. An so we come back to the authors head who realizes he is alive yet makes new memories for them to harvest? There was more to the plot then this there was also an aspect of an underground group and a stirring revolution against the society. I want to say it was called the Lazurus project but that film has nothing to do with what I am looking for. It could be a foreign film as it was on Bravo a tv station that played many independent and obscure films at that time.

I believe they were in some relation to the woman in a locked room upstairs. I was only a kid when I saw this, so I don't remember the entire plot. I remember something about a pair of eyeglasses by the pool. At the end of the movie, the husband wants to leave, I believe, and can't find his wife. During the 1990's There was a movie about a man born upon the earth during a full moon. It was rather awkward because his mother had him for only a night not 9 months of pregnancy and somehow it was caused by this weird magical gem worn by his mother. Apparently this guy is evil as he killed his mother and made a map to seek other powerful and magical gems from his mother's womb/skin. Then there was this guy and girl who were killed and revived only to have super powers in order to defeat the evil guy. Their parents mixed some magical herbs inside their body which is the main reason why they have some powers like telekinesis. I remember its ending where the bad guy is defeated as he turned his head to the girl and the rest of the gems dissappered.

It was definitely in color. Unfortunately, I only remember bits and pieces. It seemed mainly to be about an underground treasure. 2 young males found it, only to discover they ended up locked in with it. There was a scene in a cemetery, where a woman is confronted by a villainous type, reaches behind a tombstone to grab her shotgun, and ends up shooting herself by mistake. Additionally, the movie also featured a man tied to a weight in a rapidly rising river. He was given a knife, and a choice to cut off his leg or drown. I want to say this movie ended with a man digging in the cemetery in an attempt to find the treasure.

As I remember the robots were white and fairly simple with round metal screen for a mouth. [The robots had round metal screens or mesh for mouths. Essentially it looked like a round speaker cover. The heads were white and human shaped but not a helmet that I remember. The eyes were round. There would have been a person in the costume so they looked human head to toe. They were all white that I remember.] Very simple, very clean looking. They seem to be servants in the movie.Definately a low budget movie. It was most likely from the early to mid 90s. Ii could be late 80s, but I highly doubt it. In this movie there were two main characters. A male and a female. It was a dark cyberpunkish themed movie that took place in a corporate type setting. All I can remember is that this girl lived in a huge apartment building and this guy was trying to get to her, but someone else had gotten to her first. I don't think they killed her. I really can't remember. I also remember something else but I am not even sure if it is from the same movie. It's the same type of setting, but the two main characters are making love in an alley in some type of poorly designed shelter made from tarps and sticks or something of that sort.

I saw this film I think on Channel 4 in the uk probably 20 years ago now it's a black and white film probably from the 30's or 40's. It's split into 3 or 4 different stories and I think the same lead actor is in them all (he's certainly in the 2 I can remember). One of the stories involves a woman looking at a painting of a house with a light in the window when a man comes up to her and asks if she thinks the light would look better on the other side (I'm paraphrasing of course as it's been about 20 years or more since I saw it), the next thing she is in the house in the picture it'a all very creepy and someone is on a ladder with a candle in the window. The only other story I can remember anything about involves a politician and ends with someone having a heart attack again it has an air of the occult about it and the same actor who transports the woman into the painting plays one of the politicians.

I've been wondering about this movie for a while, and can't find the name of it anywhere. I remember scenes from it (and I believe it may have been a lifetime movie)- but I know it's not recent. I remember seeing a coffin with a little girl standing beside it, and someone comes up to her and tells her that her mother wants to see/talk to her, so she goes behind these big doors to see her mother dressed in all black. She asks these questions and says that the little girl loved her father (the one in the coffin) more than she loved her. Later the girl runs out to the beach by the house where her mother is walking slowly into the water and the little girl screams and cries and watches her mother as she drowns herself still dressed in all black. After that I kinda remember little bits and pieces of scenes where the girl is grown and has a husband, and one night they had this party, and I remember seeing a green house, and the girl runs back inside hurt and everything saying she saw her mother.

I remember it as sort of a cheap Alien copy. This team is sent to investigate a space station on a planet, where they have had no news for a while. It's in a desert setting (your basic rock quarry cheap sci fi setting!). They get to the station, find a bunch of bodies. All the bodies are empty, hollow, when the touch the space suits they just sort of deflate, the body inside is hollow and dried up. Standard chased by monsters fare for the rest of the movie. I remember the monsters looking like small weird 'balls' really (there was a parody of this using big hamburgers) chasing our heroes in the movie. There was a scene where the heroes are inside what I remember looked like a caravan really, these strange round monsters chasing them. I remember a lot of it taking place outside in a desert / rock quarry setting. The aliens were maybe maximum 1 meter tall creatures and I remember them as being ball shaped roughly, no real legs or anything, big mouth. I remember there was a Danish weekly satire show, the week after this movie was broadcast they did a parody of the movie, using big hamburgers as monsters. So I am sure the aliens were somehow round ball shaped, brown or black.

A Movie. This was definitely 70s. And every time the camera would pan to the horizon the eerie 70s type music would play and you would see this enormous ball / boulder rolling (or maybe bouncing). I just recall a couple (?) or a man being chased or seeing huge huge rocks rolling around in the desert. It was very eerie. I recall it playing several times during my childhood on regular cable television. It was very surreal. There is a slight chance that there was some kind of alien / ufo plot involved?

This movie/anthology series? had some people flying in an airplane and they land in a small town. I think the plane was damaged so they tried to leave by automobile. As they travel at night out of the town they notice headlights coming toward them from the opposite direction. They stop and realize it was their own reflection. The whole town including them were trapped in some kind of glass jar. They tried to dig their way out and actually found where the glass ended underground. They were doing this in an old house because they didn't want the towns people to know what they were doing. They must have been brainwashed because they were kept alive by some kind of alien feeding tubes.Well, one of the men who was digging went outside and sat in the vehicle-a jeep I think- and it was picked up by an invisible force and they never saw him again.

Years ago I watched a fascinating sci-fi movie about an astronaut who landed on a different planet very similar to earth. I really only remember the last scene:The astronaut, who was now stuck on this planet, was standing on a beach, at night, overlooking an ocean with crashing waves, looking out at the stars thinking about earth.

In the early eighties a film was shown about a man (he has atravelling mate?) who had to find his way home. It was a late night movie i saw (as a rerun?)on a German television channel. During the story it wasn't clear why he had to go on a trip to the mountains. He ends up on a mountain, where there is a cavern I don't remember much, but he was a bit of a 'man in black' type: neatly dressed in a bit inflexible. When they enter the cave, the lights switch on and there are rows of bodies on tables and only then he explains the purpose of their quest. I can't remember if he's keeping some kind of balance or just observes mankind, but it's done for many centuries. I saw it in Black and white, so productiondate might have been earlier then the seventies. They bodies were his predecessors in guarding the earth. Now he has to join them and hand over the responsibility to his travelling mate.

I am trying to remember a movie my mom was watching one time when I was younger. I might be combining more than one movie here but all I can remember is that there was this one part where one or two dudes get naked and run and jump into a lake or a pool or something but they're not gay I don't think because there's a woman involved throughout the movie. I remember A LOT of nudity both male and female. I remember one scene, they were in a house (I think the house was haunted or something?) and one of the men was doing a drawing of the woman naked. And then this is where I wonder if I'm mixing movies, I seem to remember an old woman and faces of fire exploding out of the windows of the house. I think the period may have been the 30's or 40's because I think I remember the woman having short dark hair with finger waves. The movie had to have been made in the 80's or 90's. I'm thinking it was made in the 90's. The movie was in color and I probably saw it sometime between '93 and '99 and I'm pretty sure it was on TV but my mother may have rented a VHS or pay per view or something.

May have been a movie or episode from an Anthology series, possibly in the mid 80's to early 90's. All I can remember is that the the son and wife believe their father/husband died in some type of accident. The man is kept alive in a white suit, kind of like a space suit. Towards the end of the movie the man is trying to rescue his family and while doing so falls into a big container of thick liquid. At the end the son goes to some type of museum and see's his father displayed in this suit.
Result: Darkness (2002) staring Anna Paquin (Rogue from the Xmen Movies). The part that is described is at the very end of the movie. Thanx Angie J.. Jan 30, 2010
The movie is about a lady that is traped in a house with demons that came out of painting in the house. Her only defence is the light (which the demons hate) created by the stove. She escapes only to drive into a tunnel where the movie ends and leaving you with the feeling that the demons got to her. It's not "Darkness falls".

In the late 1950s or early 60s ( I'm thinking 1958-1962 ) There was a weekly show on called " Thriller " with Boris K. as host. In this one show it starts out with a witch being hung. After she dies she is clutchig a wig. I think it is a few years later the wig ends up somewhere and a lady tries it on ( not knowing there is a spell on it ) . She has to keep it because when she wears it she is prettier, but when she takes it off she is bald and has these scalely looking things on her cheeks. she takes revenge out on these different men. She acts like she likes them but while they are kissing she removes the wig and they are real frightened and she scratches them to death. This really frightened me because I was very young. We called the lady Scaley because of her cheeks When my brother wanted to have fun by frightening me he would say Scalely is here. I've alwys wanted to know the name of this. Florida-United States- I think black and white but not sure-all we had was a black and white tv at the time.

The film I am looking for was a movie from the 60's, 70's or early 80's. I remember seeing as a kid and I just remember a family being trapped inside a white house by a large plant. It seemed to be able to think. The vines were trapping them in the house by locking the doors and blocking windows etc.

I have no idea when the movie was made but I'm guessing it was no later than 1990. Film was in color. But the only things about the movie I can recall is the beginning and the end. In the beginning there are two girls in the attic. One is doing witchcraft and the other is watching her. Well the parents find them and end up hanging the one doing witchcraft, but in actuality the one who was doing witchcraft transferred bodies into the daughter of the parents, so the parents really hung their own daughter. At the end of the movie the witch is at it again chasing after this girl that I'm guessing resembles her in her past life. Well the girl is frantically running away and spreading, I'm guessing red brick dust to ward off people with bad intentions. So shes trapped in this room and spreads the dust all around her in a circle and the witch somehow gets in the room and starts saying something like "All we needed you to do was believe" so she would be able to switch bodies with her. I'm guessing the movie takes place in a rural atmosphere, maybe Louisiana. I think I also recall the witch to be really old and the girl to be a caretaker or something.
